The news that the Sussexes have disposed of their UK staff - including a few longtime employees who worked with Harry before he met Meghan - has raised questions about whether they will ever again spend significant time in Britain, at least as a couple.
It was also raised questions about their commitment to "kindness", since many of their new hires had given up other jobs to sign on with the Sussexes, and the staff have been busy defending Harry and Meghan to the media as recently as this week, according to the Daily Mail.
"Meghan up to her old tricks again - getting rid of people no longer of any use to her," Piers Morgan wrote on Twitter. "I've met some ruthless operators in my time but she's something else."
(Watkins produced some truly awful social media, although it's hard to know how much of it was his work and how much of it can be traced to the Duchess' "input". Anyway, good luck on that job hunt.)
However, they are still working to arrange the Sussexes' final appearances in Britain in March, when Harry is scheduled to attend the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall (His last engagement as Captain-General of the Royal Marines - will he wear his uniform for the last time?) and a joint appearance at the Commonwealth Day service on March 9.
Were the Sussexes told that, as ex-Royals, they would be required to pay for their own staff in London, including the expensively-hired Sarah Latham?
The Sussexes seem short on dough, whatever they may be up to with JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs, although I have a hard time believing the figures that have been thrown around about possible "deals" with those banks.
The only thing the Sussexes really have to offer those banks are their contacts, and over the past three years they've cut off or annoyed many of the people who might have been useful to the bankers.
What do you think of the Sussexes' staff moves?

Redundancy packages
Most of the staff are currently negotiating redundancy packages, including new hires like David Watkins, the social media manager the Sussexes hired away from Burberry.(Watkins produced some truly awful social media, although it's hard to know how much of it was his work and how much of it can be traced to the Duchess' "input". All about money?
It's hard not to wonder if the sudden layoffs - and the Sussexes' apparent retreat from having a presence in the UK as well as North America - have something to do with finance. Were the Sussexes told that, as ex-Royals, they would be required to pay for their own staff in London, including the expensively-hired Sarah Latham?

I’ve never heard of Diana wanting to move to Australia, when was this?
I can imagine Fergie, her sister Jane lives in Oz.
Apologies for any confusion, I’ve quoted things out of order that were said in the programme.
They did clearly state (the end of that segment), neither got what they wanted.
I laughed at a lot of the snide remarks. 😀
I agree, both tiaras were gorgeous in their own right, I think I marginally prefer the one Megs got given to wear. 🤗😀
It’s 12.30 here, way past bedtime! 🤩
I actually liked her dress. But I’m a fan of no embellishment plain wedding gowns with sleeves!! To me it’s about the marriage and the ceremony and no the dress and veil. Thank goodness, my daughter is of similar opinions as I am.
To restate it again, "The Grand Opinion for the Prerogative Concerning the Royal Family of 1717" is Not an Act of Parliament and only applies to the Monarch's grandchildren not Archie. Supposedly once in recent times, this 'Prerogative' came into play when Diana was considering moving to Australia with William and Harry. She was prevented from taking them and she did not move.
Thanks for picking up that since Archie is a great grandchild, 'The Grand Opinion for the Prerogative Concerning the Royal Family of 1717' does NOT apply to him, so now that we all now that we can all refrain from spreading nonsense about the Queen having custody of Archie (although reliable UK media have reported that the Queen technically does have custody of Archie - it is all very confusing). Once Charles is king, it will apply, and I suppose once William is king it won't apply!
I also heard the rumour of Diane wanting to go and live in Australia with her sons and being prevented from doing so.

Meghan's divorce from Trevor was finalised in August 2013 (the year this video was shot of her attending a ballet performance - for the public exposure and not the ballet).
She really had been hustling for many years to be famous before she got together with Harry. She was everywhere, but I had never heard of her or Suits. She just does not have the talent nor charisma to generate organic interest at a high level or to become a global celebrity - without Harry.
Here is the link that mentioned Diana but it does not elaborate, unfortunately:
https://heavy.com/news/2020/01/archie-custody/
"The Independent reported that Princess Diana’s desire to move to Australia was blocked by this provision and that Prince Charles and Diana had to consult with the Queen about matters that normally would be the prerogative or parents, such as travel arrangements for their sons."
@Sandie
It was I, who twice mentioned this because @Bravura seemed to miss it;
"To restate it again, "The Grand Opinion for the Prerogative Concerning the Royal Family of 1717" is Not an Act of Parliament and only applies to the Monarch's grandchildren not Archie.".
Didn't you used to post a cute little green catepillar when you were 'Unknown"? I miss the little guy.
Do you remember how Meghan's jaw tightened as she looked at Harry in that engagement interview, when he said he'd never heard of her before their 'blind date'? It was straight after that that she made a big deal of saying she didn't know much about him, which she has really paid for ever after, but I think it was precipitated by Harry's comment. Because she really seemed to think she was IT. Then, never mind post-royal marriage.
Anecdotally, as soon as she was in Suits, she acted when out for dinner with friends as if she was Burton and Taylor rolled into one, at the height of the Cleopatra scandale, the night they defied the paparazzi and went to "f***ing Alfredo's for some f***ing fettucine". The comment by another Nutty about this gradual escalation from doting Daddy to Suits to Harry is all part of this. Remember she is said to have stated recently that she and Harry will always be royal no matter where they are and what they do. Not just Harry note. She. Herself. Meghan. I bet she now thinks she's invulnerable to the effects of a royal divorce. She's at such a peak of delusion that oxygen is no longer reaching her brain.
Thanks for the link, Independent not showing any articles either, cheers.
Here is a paragraph from the cheatsheet.com
"After Princess Diana and Prince Charles split, Diana supposedly wanted to escape the British press by fleeing with her two sons to Australia, The Independent reported. But since he had to share custody with Prince Charles and since the Queen ultimately had the power to veto any of her plans, even ones concerning her own children, Diana was forced to stay nearby.
It may be a stretch to think that Prince Charles would use this ancient rule to block Harry and Meghan from taking Archie overseas. But in the event that the two divorced or disagreed on what was best for their son, the law could play an important part in determining where Archie’s future might be."
https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/technically-prince-charles-can-forbid-prince-harry-from-taking-archie-to-canada-like-he-did-to-diana.html/
Yep, if that is the case, then Charles will technically have custody of Archie until he is 18 when he becomes king and can demand that he be returned to the UK. However, as I have pointed out, if Meghan (or Meghan and Harry) ignore Charles (as they most certainly will), any legal action he would take would fail as I am pretty certain that modern laws would trump that ancient rule/law.
Agree with you about modern laws prevailing. Besides, I think both Harry and Meghan would be stupid to fight over custody unless there is some horrible facts or situation that necessitates a contentious court case.
The only thing such a plain dress like that does (especially with no necklace) is to emphasize the woman's face. Maybe Meghan wanted her facial beauty to outshine everything, I will say it was the best I ever see her look other than her stringy hair.
You hit the nail on the head as there was no cohesion among the components. The veil was lovely but needed an appropriate dress with some lace embellishment to pull the look together. All and all, the look needed a different bride IMO, like a Chelsey or Cressida.
“ the dress needed a different bride, like Chelsey or Cressida “ hahaha
I just checked out the train for Diana, 25 foot long, Kate 9 foot, Meg 16 foot.
I’m surprised Meg didn’t go for 30 foot long one, would have ensured her attendants were out of the picture, maybe next time 😉
OT, @hikari are you working on a jewelry project? I saw a Hikari somewhere and wondered if it is you.
If somebody asks me if I'm sad about a grandchild divorcing, I'd say things like "ABSOLUTELY devastated!" etc., meanwhile, my eyes would be rolled so far back in my head that I would be examining my cerebellum.
I think Meghan designed her wedding outfit herself!
I would have liked to see her in something like a silk sheath dress with an overlay of lace.
The two things I will always remember about that wedding are Harry's miserable face (his happiness look is the same as a just about to cry with a dash of tension look) and her maniacal look of glee while in the carriage (which she repeated after the ceremony as seen in a photograph of her with her mother).
Yep, it was the epitome of 80s bigness and extravagance, but it was iconic!
IMO, a long white dress, full veil, formal wedding is not appropriate for a modern 35-50 year old br8de, especially a divorced bride. It is ridiculous for a bride with such a dubious past. Harry has a reputation as well, to be fair.
They should have had a smaller civil ceremony and a big party. It would call less attention to her lack of family and long term friends if the guests didn't parade through the streets and sit through a long, televised church ceremony.
The carriage rides, crouds, celebrities and expense are "let them eat egg free cake" level royal cluelessness. Add the Gospel choir and the over-the-top Bible thumping fire breathing preacher, you have a farce.
I think the queen should have insisted on a longer engagement, at least a year, and a less expensive more appropriate ceremony. Perhaps insisting on conversion to the church of England and pre marital counceling by a pastor. ( It is done in my native Lutheran churches and a friend's American Episcopalian church, not sure about the church if England). Waiting 5 years may be unreasonable for a couple over 35 who want children, but a year isn't.

@Sandy: I truly enjoy your posts. You write so well and always make interesting observations.
As for Charles not being able to enforce his guardianship, you could very well be right, but I’m hoping by the time he becomes king, Harry and Meghan will be embroiled in a whopping divorce. Narcissists turn ultra nasty in any breakup, so Harry and Charles can join forces to make sure Archie and any other children they may have (I think Meg will go for IVF twins next time to get around the “only two children” pledge) are away from her and raised in the UK instead of with bat-guano crazy Meghan.
I agree, such self satisfied glee her teeth almost came unstuck. Thanking Harry, for obeying her orders, was crass, the F bomb, strewth!!!
WTH we have many gollums in here but the original nutty gollum is tatty.
Tatty says oh meg my precious my precious I love you meg. I loved your dress it was so plain.
meg my precious I love your yak hair and eyelash glue and your 3 inch thick bronzer - it's just all soooo precious.
I've been reading here for a few hours, catching up, and this made me LOL, it's so infantile, but correct. Tatty is defending Meghan, still. 🙄 Sometimes she sounds normal, but rarely has valid arguments. She's gaslighting and skewing info most of the time, and it's terribly annoying.
I know, I know, skip, ignore and so on. Will do, ta ta.

They are letters from a London PR source about this situation.
https://skippyv20.tumblr.com/post/190888165229/london-pr
I think it is new? Could be old rehashed news but looks newer, not sure. Interesting either way, I hadn't read it before and that's saying quite a bit.
I’d like to think she was joking, albeit a terrible joke.😩Otherwise, that’s an atrocious thing for an MP to say, she’s basically wishing all the others dead, so Meghan can become Queen. Regardless, Meghan isn’t even a British citizen and not even overhere!🤣
The only great grandchildren outside of this are Anne’s, and potentially Andrew’s or Edward’s, because none will become future Monarch’s.
Thanks for the links to the PR letters, wow, I must be totally naive as I never realised the extent PR goes to regarding whitewashing & contracts. Makes you question everyone!!
The point she made about people not liking Meg is because she is a PR creation, not real, is so true. I knew she was fake but didn’t realise it was all orchestrated to such a dangerous degree. Sodom & Gomorrah.
- whether or not MM is his biological mother (post-surrogacy adoption not required), he has automatic US citizenship as far as the US is concerned, even though born in the UK.
- UK law deems him British, as he `seems' to have been born here but, if surrogacy was involved, he would have to have been adopted to be legally the child of HAMs. (Btw, adopted children don't get a look-in when it comes to claiming intestate estates, only a restricted range of `full-blood' relatives do. I can't think that the Succession would be any different when push comes to shove.)
So... can you imagine the fight if the RF try to get him back from US territory under an 18th century British law, once he is grandchild of the Monarch?
`Can of worms' doesn't begin to describe the nightmare, especially when up against a narcissist full of low cunning. Every move made is met by another stunt and a jubilant shout of `Check!'
There can be great power in doing nothing, just waiting for a change in circumstances, perhaps a favourable wind that blows the Harkles off course and onto the rocks...
Whether or not these separations happened last fall (the Phillips) or are only being announced just now, are they being announced at all because the Harkles walked away?
The Queen does seem to have been hit hard with family upset recently, that's for sure.
Mistral Meg blown out to sea...
I'd seen the photo of Diana at the time it was taken but had forgotten it. No bells rang with Meghan's photo for the simple reason that Diana didn't look tarty or cheap (I hate to use the word but, yes, skanky comes to mind with Meghan). Diana just looked relaxed and at the same time businesslike. She was in information-gathering mode, at the time of her landmines work.
I'm no Diana fan, but she did that so well, when she forgot her own problems and really hit the ground running. Now she COULD hit the ground running and could point to substantive achievements in serious arenas. Meghan forgets that part, focusing on the sunglasses at bra level. Says it all about her. Looking the part - or should I say trying (hopelessly) to look the part - is as far as it goes. Instagram is her universe.
Was it this one? ( 3/11 photos)
https://observer.com/2017/09/princess-diana-paris-fashion-week-off-white/#slide2
Diana looks classy.
Meg just looks yuk!
Megs sadly manages to either ruin or cheapen anything she wears or associates herself with. I’m pretty much Monarchy fatigued because of Megs and Harry. ☹️
i like also liked diana’s dress it was appropriate for the time /decade it was worn.
i loved kates dress, i did think it was a touch too snug for her but she looked great.
Eugenies dress is probably my favorite of the bunch
onthe other hand, i hated the veil/ train MM wore with the dress because i don’t think it went with the dress. it was a very long pice of very sheer lace that was dragging on the ground for 16 feet. the dress ended a foot or so behind her and the veil was dragging.the veil with another dress would be fine but it didn’t fit with that dress.
If you liked MM's dress it means you liked the dress designed by Angela of Leichteinshtein for her own wedding. Look it up and grasp just like I did. Markle's dress is almost an exact copy. I am amazed media hasn't caught it yet. Markle's plagiarism knows no bounds.
I think in both cases, separation and divorce was decided months ago and well before the Harkles published their manifesto online. In both cases an announcement was made because the press had found out so they were sort of forced to make a statement to try and put a damper on gossip and speculation running wild.
Honorary degree? It's enough to make a cat laugh.
At my alma mater, the University Orator makes a speech in Latin explaining what the graduand has achieved in life to deserve such honour. The linguistic contortions can be fun - I was once up in the gallery on such an occasion and heard how Barnes Wallis had been involved in designing the airships ` with the dog-growl letter’ ie the R100.
Have we any Classicists here? What would you make of her contributions to scholarship and the good of humanity thus far – in Latin that is, or any ancient language of your choice?
I’d set her a 100,000 word dissertation before I even offered her a Master’s.
Something like `Compare and Contrast yourself, with ONE of the following women:
a) Messalina OR Lucretia Borgia
b) Eva Peron OR Mother Teresa
c) Madame Defage OR Mrs Lovett
Wouldn’t it be fun to assess it? Do you think she’d even scrape a Pass?
You have just made it even more obvious why her demand of a degree is so ridiculous. With English my second language I hugely respect anybody who can make a speech in any language other than their native. Latin! My respect knows no limits.
I'm a UCLA graduate and I look up to those who matriculated at Sanford. To grant such an honor, would seriously harm the prestige of the university. I'm shocked she did not try to get such an accolade from USC or my alma mater, who has renowned film schools. For a hefty, and I mean hefty donation, maybe USC would have done it...tee, hee! (little dig at the cross-town rival). We use to say if you had brains you went to UCLA and if you had money you went to 'SC. Now I'll shut up before I get booted off this board.
I hated the dress. I know it's been discussed endlessly, but I just want to say that as soon as I saw it, I was so DISAPPOINTED! I was already NOT a fan of MM but was looking forward to some good wedding dress eye-candy. My first thought was - how could you wear - as a ROYAL bride getting married in a gorgeous ancient cathedral in front of the world - a dress totally devoid of any embellishments? Then I started to laugh because I realized the fabric wasn't working at all - it was so stiff and way TOO white that it reminded me of a polyester nurse's uniform from the 1970's! What a waste of such expensive silk. Of course the ill-fit and the wrinkles were a distraction as well.
And yet you could tell she thought she was the most gorgeous bride to ever walk down any aisle through-out the history of man-kind! The delusion is so very bizarre.

I agree, I liked the tiara a lot more. I think she tried to copy the dress of HRH Princess Angela of Lichtenstein but failed spectacularly because of the fit - not to mention the wrinkles. Princess Angela's dress was designed by her for her and obviously it fit. I don't think it even cost as much as Smirkles which was 357,000 GBP. Now she - Princess Angela made a good marriage, she's low key and under the radar and can basically do what she wants without all that scrutiny. The Lichtenstein's are worth billions and her son is in line to the succession and he's a cutie.
Okay I'm leaving to lick my wounds.
That being said, I loved the Stella McCartney she wore when she left the church, it fit and was appropriate for her square body type.
If I were getting married for the 2nd (or 3rd?) time, I'd buy something vintage from Etsy. Some of those wedding dresses are divine.
I very much wonder just what Rach thinks about of herself every day all the time to come up with the idea to actually go to Stanford and ask them to honor her. What kind of a mind churns up such bilge without so much as realizing for a single moment how crass and reaching it is? Wow!
Ok I make typos...I'm an old lady. I am making a declaration like @tatty did when she said she was autistic and people should overlook her transgressions, blah, blah, blah. So for the record:
1. Don't think I misspell because I'm dumb, lazy or ignorant. I'm just old and can't get by doing it. Na,na, na, na,.nayahhhh!.
2. Don't think I have stupid points to make. I just have 'fuzzy brain syndrome' cause I'm 67.
3. Don;t think I run off at the mouth. I have little time left on earth and I gotta get it all in when I can say, since I might die in the next 5 minutes.
4. Don't think I say irreverent things on purpose. I say rude things because I'm old and I don't give a damn, anymore.
5. Don't think I am being unduly rude to you. No I am rude because you're not my Mama. my husband, my kin, or a Sheriff Deputy.
6. Don't think I really mean the things I say. I don't or maybe I do, I forget which!
7. Don't think I am trying to be funny, because that would require talent and I never had it, so that is a disability I claim so I can get a check from the government.
8. Don't think I don't care I do, but I forgot where I put it (just like my teeth).
9. Don't think I'm not sorry, I am, but last time was when I married my 4th husband and I didn't get alimony.
10. Don't think I write the wrong thing maybe I;m just testing your power of discernment or more like patience
11. Finally if you put up reading this 'ole lady BS maybe you won't comment on a typo again, lest you get a double dose of 'ole lady BS
So I think this pretty much sums it up why I shouldn't be held responsible for typos (and maybe stupid things, like this) but I will try to do better in the future.
Hare Brained, as in a scared, pursued rabbit. Running hard, weaving in and out to avoid being shot or captured. But you know this. The continuing references here to her yak hair wigs have me laughing. Reality is this (Megsy's) wig hair is cut from from poor third worlders in India, Cambodia etc.
PS. I see I made some typos in my post above; but not on purpose. BTW I meant to add if you didn't figure it out I am joking. Actually Thank you for pointing out my typo, as you gave me the ability to not look stupid. Of course, my 1st response kinda erased that, didn't it! LOL
Cheers!
Wasn't her baby shower right around a year ago? Maybe she will release a never before seen gaggle of rich women she's known for 4 months max, and only met once, gathered around their 600.00 macaroon towers, in the 100,000.00 per night suite. I can imagine the caption now...
#ThrowbackTuesday to when HRH The Duchess of Sussex Princess Henry, donated flowers to dying children. As you know the Duchess was a child at one point, so she can relate to the struggles that children go through, especially when they have a black mother and a father who is questionable. Her Royal Highness didn't suffer in silence though, and made it her life mission to advocate for Children living in first world countries who go to private schools, but just don't have the bespoke support they need to truly thrive. HRH continues to shine a light on children everywhere through her endless giving of flowers, half eaten food, used baby clothes she was gifted, hand kisses, forced hugs, and photo ops, throughout the world, not just the commonwealth. Make each day brighter for those you don't know, by making sure to think about your own health and happiness, because when HRH is happy, the world in general benefits from her light. Personally, I do not think one has to walk around barefoot in darned clothing in order to help the poor and oppressed, but it does take a lot of thought, research, discussion, and collaboration, followed by careful planning and thorough follow up (what Kate seems to be doing with her Early Years project). I think Meghan can't do this properly because she is not coming from a sincere place - she is focused on the optics and how good it will make her look so grabs onto ideas that don't mesh together, like the quotes she finds online and inserts into her IG posts or word salad speeches.
Thank you for giving me an out. lol I wonder if you are British because chasing Hares is common there, like, fox hunting? Maybe not, because rabbits are too easily caught.
But the analogy is apt because Meghan is running a con, she is running and running this outrageous con trying to keep ahead of those who question her. Hence the PR to aid in her running and covering her tracks. All the utter BS she puts out to throw people off of what she is and what she is attempting to accomplish. The frenetic actions, the throwing out stories on W&K to get the press off her. She does seem like a scared rabbit and she puts on that maniacal smile when she thinks she is safely in a hole and untouchable. But I bet her heart is beating a hundred beats.min. because she knows she has dodged capture and will live for another day but must keep up the pace What a horrible life, I wouldn't want to be in her shoes for all the money in the world.
Thank you so much.
I think you are spot on in looking at Meghan from the reference point of her having NPD. She is classic NPD and the way Harry is behaving is classic for someone trapped in a relationship with a full-blown narcissist.
I do tend to get a bee in a bonnet and go on about something, but I find it so helpful to read different perspectives and thus not share my ideas in an echo chamber. What I have found in the Harkles soap opera is that some of the ideas that I dismissed as complete made-up nonsense turned out to be on the button. Most people do qualify what they write by stating that it is a personal opinion or by giving a reference or by stating that they read it somewhere but don't remember where.
There is a Sanford California, a small town but I was referring in my original post, Stanford, the prestigious California University that Meghan allegedly went to seek an honorary Doctorate and a paid honorarium for a speech (who knows when). I can't believe she would think she would get such a prestigious award unless Harry coughed up millions as a donation, but even so, I can't believe Stanford can be bought off. Meg I believe suffers from Megalomania (like being a Narc on steroids).

It is cringe-worthy ...
The use of the word 'force' is unfortunate but very apt for EE and MM. The book by David R. Hawkins describes the difference between 'force' and 'power' very well (and is a brilliant book anyway). He describes the differences here:
https://www.healyourlife.com/how-you-can-have-power-without-being-forceful
I was going to include some excerpts, but the whole article is an eye opener.
>>>I can't believe she would think she would get such a prestigious award unless Harry coughed up millions as a donation, but even so, I can't believe Stanford can be bought off.<<<
I had posted somewhere above that as a matter of policy Stanford awards NO honorary degrees and never has.
Even if Harry turned over all his money, I doubt they'd change the policy for Meg. Stanford's endowment fund was $27.7 billion in fall of 2019. Harry's money is peanuts compared to that.https://facts.stanford.edu/administration/finances/
Plus even "woke" academics would probably be up in arms over a policy change made for a D-list actress whose main accomplishments are simulating sex acts on camera and marrying a petulant prince.

Great post on Meghan as pursued rabbit. Maybe we should go easier on her. Underneath all her brass, brassiness, scheming and bravado, she is just another of the walking wounded. But in her case she wants (expects-deserves) millions in a divorce payout, somewhere down the road.
I am American but I saw the Watership Down movie to qualify as a rabbit expert
That said, I'm certain Megs had access to a seamstress the night before her big day to take in the dress. I always thought she wanted people to think she was preggos. I would have liked the dress had it been more fitted in the waist. I loved the veil too but it was too long.
The price tag was bonkers and tacky with all the financial suffering in GB and the Commonwealth, I thought as well.
Her Stella dress I fell in love with and thought she looked a million dollars, pun intended.
I had a feeling of happiness for them both.
I have not been following the honorary degree storyline, but she is so pushy and crass it doesn't surprise me. Self entitled to the max. All the fake doe eyes in the world can't hide her selfish pretentious attention seeking behavior.
On a different topic, it seems to me that some nefarious entity or entities are hellbent, not that he needed any help, on totally destroying PA. DM, I believe, had an article about many bowing out of his bday celebrations due to the new alleged pedo association.
This makes me so very sad for Bea and Eugenie. I hope they can rise above this.
As for the typos people make I just ignore because God knows I make them prob every post. Lol.
Usually I'm typing from my mobile with 8 font and auto correct. I think of blogging like texting and don't overly concern myself unlike when I have to send an email in a professional capacity. But it can sometimes confuse the reader lol.
Also, I don't think too many of us take ourselves too seriously and can enjoy a little bawdy banter, etc. That's what I like about this blog. Thanks to Nutty.
Cateyes,
Your above post about typos cracked me up! Thanks for the laugh this AM!!
Anyone old enough to have gotten up in the middle of the night in the US to see Diana’s wedding remembers how glorious that day was. Not only was Diana’s dress iconic, but also that day was iconic.
If I find it again, I will post the link, but I did get to read the whole post. HRH is used throughout to refer to Harry.
Are the Harkles being defiant and indicating that the HRH is essential to them and they ARE going to use it and no-one can do anything about it short of stripping them of that status (which the Queen will not do to Harry)? Or have they got the Queen to change her mind and they can swan around the world as HRH?
Supposedly the final deal will be completed in 'Spring' so we should find out within the next 3-4 months just how much the Harkles have managed to get from the BRF and British public ...
You crack me up!
Brother update?
I think that IG post about mental health and the armed forces was made last year.
Thank you for your kindness in asking about my brother!. He was sending me letters with no return address and that has stopped completely for about 3 weeks. One reason why I haven't posted until yesterday, I have been so sad/depressed. Nothing has come to fruition on efforts to find him.
Angela did it first, and she did it with grace. I'm sure she experienced 10x the ill-will (I hate to even say that word) Megs did and one never hears about her complaining. She is happily married for 20 years, and raised a son as well. I recognize the BRF is much more complicated, and in the limelight more, but I've never even seen Megs refer to Princess Angela as a role model or an example of grace under pressure.
But of course, that would be sharing the spotlight.I
I don't follow Angela really, anything I've missed?
Are they implying they agreed to stop using `HRH' only `after Spring'?
Will they just conveniently ignore what they agreed?
It was made on April 10th 2019
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8013495/Prince-Harrys-series-mental-health-involves-visits-hospitals-treatment-centres-UK.html
I am so sorry...heartbreaking for you. I've been keeping both of you in my prayers. Still no help frontage the local constabulary?
@wild boar
My money is on them using it until (if) stopped. I just hate that the BRF seem so .... well...feckless.
Dang it
Miggy, probably another attempt by Megs to emulate one of Diana’s looks, but as always never being able to pull it off. Being classy is not something Megs innately possess
Megs sadly manages to either ruin or cheapen anything she wears or associates herself with. I’m pretty much Monarchy fatigued because of Megs and Harry.
I agree. Class could slap her in the face and she'd be none the wiser!
I'm fatigued as it is, and this Harkle debacle is draining me of the little strength I have left.
God Bless You for the prayers!.I sincerely think eventually everyone's prayers will have an effect. I am just trying to be patient. No help from the sheriff deputies that showed up, then a month later I had the occasion to meet adeputy who said he was so sorry I got treated as I did. But I could not in all fairness try to play one off the other two. Next month I will pay off my house so I am going to hire a private detective to find Kenny (I have a possible city where he is) in a rural area nowhere near where I live.
No worries on the typo, as you should use one of my excuses as I earlier expounded at length on. If you need a custom excuse, I am available for hire (you know my govt check doesn't go far) LOL
I'm so sorry about your situation.
Please accept my prayers too.
I hate to it break to y’all, but here in the US those ancient laws are still enforced today. No matter how stupid they may appear. I live in the great state of Michigan and there are two 1800’s aged laws that I am aware of. One involving swearing in public & the other having to do with walking your pig on a leash. While I happen to live on the western side of the state, it still made news here when someone was issued a citation for swearing in a public park in the Detroit area. I can also say with absolute confidence that no one around here has even considered taking their pig for a walk.
I realize child custody and these above asinine laws are apples vs oranges but if it is on the “books”, so to speak, you never know how it could play out. Well, on this side of the pond anyway. I did google this information and it does say that Parliament came up with this solution for George I and it is my belief that all grandchildren are simply that, grandchildren. Basically, because back then it was rare for a monarch to live long enough to see a great grandchild. Therefore I don’t think Parliament even considered it an issue.
Just another point to consider.
Of course my mother & I are of the belief that either Archie doesn’t exist or H&M don’t have custody. There is no way in he** I would have left my son behind for a week when he was under a year.
You're welcome.
I don't mind them being successful in making lots of money and living a billionaire lifestyle, but I do object to their claims to being celebrity humanitarians and lecturing everyone about racism and environmentalism and mental health because when they speak on topics such as those they are hypocrites (and Meghan is no style icon nor a foodie in any way).
Maybe they should build on Harry's Travelyst idea and promote sustainable travel in some innovative way, although I can't see Megsy being happy spending too much time in the 'bush' but she can pursue the kind of shallow stuff she did on the Tig.

Blind Item #7
The top marketing guru for the permanent A- list actress had a meeting with the alliterate royal. Can't wait for the new line of candles.
Name for Meghan’s scented candle: Smells Like Harry’s D!ck.
"Name for Meghan’s scented candle: Smells Like Harry’s D!ck"
Oh, that made me gag in between laughing!! Oh, lordy, and maybe an air freshener a la "Aroma de Testicle". With a Ginger Yak hair body scrub and a Meg-sweat scented soap.
( especially after rhe Gollum crap last night. GREAT BALLS OF FIRE, wtf was that all about, I thought I was hallucinating or had gotten stuck in another blog or something)
p.s. and before the. OT police come gitme.....I think about you, your brother and that whole situation and worry when you disappear for a while.
Blind Item no 7:
https://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2020/02/blind-item-7_18.html
Lots about `MK' - what's that? Back to the cult idea? Not Mind Control apparently, nor Magic Kingdom, tho it's abundant in Disney. Can anyone explain it to me please?
Allegedly MM & GP both `closely'/v.closely connected with HW.
I found this by highlight the paragraph in Happy Days' post, & right-click to `search net for phrase...'
Then looked for Blind Item #7.
Bingo. All rather sordid but does one expect?
Thank you for your concern...yes, I was lurking but didn't feel like commenting as I was too down emotionally. Sometimes writing something I think is funny helps but I only yesterday started to feel better.
>>>( especially after rhe Gollum crap last night. GREAT BALLS OF FIRE, wtf was that all about,<<,
When I cam on and saw that craziness I could not believe my eyes! I would of thought it was some random act but the "Gollum" Monster troll mentioned @tatty which made me think it was an intentional act. For once, posters here scrolling past was successful. Thankfully the Monster Troll left...but kind of wondered why they mentioned @tatty and her admiration for Megsy, Am thinking someone was fed up and did not think they could make a statement out in the open as many have been put down when they try to complain about you-know-who. But it was a bit irritating, I think those who have a complaint (like I have in the past) should be brave and make it known instead of hiding (and I don't put down 'Unknowns' because many can't figure out how to become 'Unknown').
BTW the other day posters here mentioned how to make an English monetary pound sign (or sterling sign?) and I still couldn't do it. I have a PC laptop.
I apologize for saying a cussword, the "D__n" word in my attempt at humor. Sorry!!!
Yeah, reading the Gollum tirade was like trying to peek at a car accident on the freeway, you know you shouldn't but you do. At least I say a prayer when I pass an accident (for the victims), but last night I could not believe the outrageous trash being posted. I agree it was funny for a few lines and took a while for me to notice there were supposedly two Trolls (actually probably one and the same/insane).
I know I wondered where @Nutty was but she seems to make an appearnce at US midnight CST. Sometimes every couple of days.
@Happy Days - do you have a link for the cdan blind? I wanted to read the comments but I can't seem to find it and I think it might have been taken down. TIA 😍
@ BlueBell Woods: Looks like it is gone from the mobile version, but it’s still there on the web version. If you are viewing it using your phone, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click on the tiny “View Web Version” link that’s there. It will take you to the web version.
Look through the column at the far left of the page to today’s date. It’s there. I just checked it. Blind Item 7 for February 18, 2020.
Yes I really do take meds but that’s a topic for another time, another blog.......OT’s are NOT appreciated by some and they don’t mind telling us so.
So just know that you are not alone Cat Eyes. A lot of us on here care about you and your brother and worry!
P.S. Glad you are feeling a tad better...Love your humor...you’re so smart funny!
Or are they referring to the conspiracy theory about MK Ultra? Involving poor old Milton Keynes?
That does seem to involve drugs & mind control, plus videos wondering if HAMs are robots/replicants/radio controlled...
Of course, we know that extreme narcissists behave as if they've sold their souls to Satan anyway, as a matter of course, or even as if they are the Antichrist in person, without needing to get involved with the Dark Arts as practised by secret agents.
A thought- was the fact of her wearing an amulet to ward off the Evil Eye evidence that she believes in its existence?
Taking this idea a little further, was it narcissistic Projection? She thinks others use it against her because she, at some level, tries to put it on others?
Megwitch indeed.

I've seen a few broadcast tv commercials for goop products starring Gwyneth herself lately. I don't know if this is something new as I usually stream. She came across as very arrogant.
@BlueBell: I think GP comes across as arrogant, but also very elitist. Her parents have both been successful in the entertainment business (I believe her father has been dead for several years at least), and she was likely raised in an elitist environment. Her blog is incredibly pretentious. If Meghan gets past GP’d marketing guru, these two will be an interesting combination.
I think it’s a bit telling that Meghan did not get to meet with GP herself, but instead, one of her minions. One would think that even in her place in Hollywood, if the DOS asked for a meeting, unless GP had a prior commitment she absolutely could not get out of or reschedule, she would have met with Meghan instead of sending a representative. So if GP wasn’t busy, and wanted to politely blow her off, sending your marketing person so you can avoid meeting with her in-person is a smart move.
Then if the marketing person thinks there’s any sort of collaboration possibility, then GP can meet Meghan. Otherwise, why risk having Meghan take a selfie with her and using a fake association GP in Meghan’s own marketing efforts? Especially if Meghan’s reputation around Hollywood is not exactly sterling..
Agree, I really wish there was an edit button for comments. My phone is dire for autocorrect and generally changing stuff I don’t write. I check and recheck, but stuff still gets through. Typos and mistakes happen to anyone, to err is human. 🤗
Meghan not likely to just pop her rings into FedEx package as she did with Trevor. And she certainly won’t give up the duchess title without a fight, but perhaps GP will have some advice for Meghan.
>>>What do you think is the purpose of the meeting with the marketing guru? Is it for a possible collaboration on Goop or is MM hoping to set up something of her own?<<<
Who needs who? GP is successful and Meg hasn't even done anything approximating a success. So Meghan needs GP, and that is why a minion met with Meg. I am surprised she even got that, Good luck Megsy, but don't hold your breath for a payday anytime soon.
Can you imagine what Harry must be thinking? His wife is meeting with a woman who sells candles smelling like a vagina! Boy, that's a step up from being a royal isn't it.
I did see your response. Both times. Perhaps you misunderstood my theory/thought process?
If Harry and Megan divorce, someone is going to gain custody of Archie, correct? Archie *should* be returned back to the UK due to the line of succession (he should never have left really, nor Harry), but if Megan gains custody, we know that's not going to happen.
My thought is this:
1. Archie isn't of the blood. That negates him across the board. The BRF know this but haven't spilled that secret yet. They are using it as leverage.
2. If H & M divorce, the BRF can petition to gain full custody of Archie for Harry and both can return to the UK (with Archie in his father's custody - not the Queen's). The law I was quoting was a means to try and make it more "official" or give grounds for why they can petition for Archie's return to the UK with Harry (again, if they divorce). Otherwise folks might wonder why Megan is giving up her kid.
3. If Megan kicks up a fuss or causes drama, they simply threaten to expose the whole truth about Archie's "birth" etc.
I am not expecting the Queen to command someone to grab Archie and drag him back to the UK. Can you imagine the optics that would present? I'm suggesting that they can use that law as grounds for a reason *why* Archie needs to return to the UK with Harry and why Harry needs to have full custody of the child. This is all, of course, in light of the fact that Archie was never carried by Megan and is not her biological child.
Does that make more sense?
What is strange is that out of nowhere a second 'Gollum' would appear? What are the statistical odds of that happening? I find it suspect. I think the 2nd and the 1st are the same, regardless of what they wrote. But enough of this. Hopefully, they won't darken this blog again.
I still have NO IDEA what that whole thing was about but glad the cock of the poppy sniffing Gollum has departed.......
I actual like markles more than angelas’ the boat neck showed more skin, but if i were marrying into royalty, i would probably go more discreet and not show skin.
After googling angela, I’ve found that simple elegant look is popular with alot of brides
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tFwEfiwZ970
I still hate markles excessively long train with that dress. Looks ridiculously out of place to me.
I like the embroidery on it because it had a lot of uk meaning, but thats was shown to be a farce from markle since she has shown her true hatred of uk colors.
Im sorry you have been down. And Im also very sorry about your brother and will pray for you both.
Rachel has played the race card. Rachel will play the child card. I do believe the Firm will avoid being portrayed as kidnappers. HMQ wouldn’t make that mistake. He is not that important (not the futur King).
There will be no fight over Archie’s custody. Harry will have Archie a part of the festive season/summer/vacation and maybe for some royal duties. He will get for Rachel a bunch of nannies.
As for Rachel, she doesn’t like kids. She needed a child, she got Archie, but she is not a mum.
She doesn’t care of that poor little baby boy. However, she wants the money that comes with Archie and RPO. She also wants to be portrayed as a poor single mum so there is no chance she doesn’t get Archie (and baby Sussex II)’s custody.
The shenanigans will be about money and all the dirty laundry.
If you know how to change your user name, please reveal the secret to the"unknowns". Thanks.
I’m with @cateyes. I think that was one person.
However, the repeated block of text was awful I agree. 😩 It was very odd they both appeared at the same time too. 🥴
Gwyneth Paltrow has earned her own money. Internet says net worth at 100 millions so a lot more than her tag a long sap of a Husband. Of course she had a leg up due to her parents being in the Biz. She has a work ethic and an entrepreneurial ethic via Goop. Who buys that ludicrous Goop crap? The same women who can page though Amazon 5 hours a day while at a job/or not and sipping.....vino at home.
And yes I'll say it- God save the Queen!!
Me, too!! So very happy! Already cracked open the Chardonney!

Love me some IPA! Keeps me twenty lbs up here in NC! Cheers!

Yay!!
Oops
Rachel must be furious. She is going to throw all the PR she can in the next few days:
- she is happy, she is better now she is in Canada, away from this toxic atmosphere
- they are a happy couple
- Archie is a happy baby
- they don't need the Firm, they are the Firm. She would do a better job than HMQ
- they are going to sign major deals, move to L.A, hanging out with A+ list celebrities: Brad, Leo, Margot...
- no fear to come back to UK. She'll come back in March all smiles (as nothing happened) even if she hates everything and everyone in the UK.
- passive-aggressive attacks against William & Charles & Kate / she will try to upstage their trip in Australia and Ireland
I can imagine Harry is being more than ever her punching ball right now. Major tantrum in their Russian mansion.
money and all the dirty laundry.
You have triggered me!!! Don Henley via the currently lame CDAN.

Hooray for the Queen!
🚩👑🚩👑🚩👑🚩
Now don't forget this:
"No more taxpayer's support for security including the UK, Canada, and the US! They chose to leave the RF and are no longer working royals. They chose to live outside the UK where it is more expensive to cover them, and where it will involve other agencies like the local and state police in the US. Let them pay for their own security!"
I will be watching to see whether their website comes down in the "spring".
MM built her brand on a word: “royal”. Everything is collapsing. As usual, she is going to try to save her face but she must be more than upset.
@Louise: Rachel can choose to lie, not to obey but it's too late because it’s not a rumour, a threat, it is now in the headlines. In addition, we don't know for sure what was the deal.
We had an official statement but there is a written part and also some more arrangements. HMQ would not take that decision if she wasn't sure of her move.
It could be from immediate effect, that’s how I’ve taken it. They stop being royals in the spring, but the website and their agenda is up and running now, this needs to be halted post-haste. 🥴
I am curious what to make of Vogue's special edition or whatever it is that is going to happen in London in March, supposedly a few days before the Sussex duo are due for the Commonwealth Day service. Will Megs show up for that and then attend the Commonwealth Day service or attend one but not the other? Or will she stay at home? And will Archie attend either?
I highly doubt we'll see Archie for a while.
The Queen could threaten to cut them off from Duchy money, but at a certain point it won't matter because they will be earning their own money and can keep using SussexRoyal with impunity. This could only work, perhaps, if it was enforced immediately, before they become self sufficient. But we know that it doesn't come into effect until the spring and they can earn a few million by that time.
God save you ma'am!!
It placed the Queen in an invidious position, given her long-held conviction of refusing to allow working members of the family to profit from their positions.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8018043/Queen-BANS-Prince-Harry-Meghan-Markle-using-Sussex-Royal-brand-cost-thousands.html
****** This is very literate journalism with the spanner in the works from the Dire Straits tune "Industrial Disease" which was his 1982 anti-Thatcher protest song. Invidious? I must look this word up. Luv ya fellow nutties!
DIRE>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=22&v=g3X3rKtruSg&feature=emb_logo
Here is an excerpt from the Mail's article which deals with the use of words, like 'royal':
"For example: 'Sections 55 and 1047 of the Companies Act 2006 and Regulation 8 of the Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Companies Act 2006) Regulations 2009 prohibits companies (including overseas companies)… from being registered under a name which includes any of the sensitive words specified in the Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Business Names (Sensitive Words and Expressions) Regulations 2014, unless the approval of the Secretary of State has been obtained.'
The sensitive words specified in the 2014 Regulations include Royal, Queen, King…"
So the Queen could litigate against them, although I think a simple warning would have its effect!!
Thanks for that, I was about to copy and paste to Louise. 🤩 The Sussex’s have hit a legal brick wall, they can’t legally use the name. What a relief. 😀
I looked there because of you! Best comment on MM being denied the use of Royal
SHE SELF-MARKLED!
