I've been quite worried about The Queen. Each morning I wake up and wonder - did she pass? how do I put a black border around this space? what to write?
I know that this would be a well planned out announcement and ceremony (the plans probably were started before her coronation) as these are the people who live/breath, are immersed in protocol of how this should be done and think of all kinds of contingencies. It is in good hands.
But I also think about the emotional fall out for the family, the employees who have a chance to see her in situations none of us get or the citizens of the UK - many of whom have never known another monarch before you get to the world's response.
Or just the sheer loss of knowledge from dealing with the intricacies the politics of different countries, regime changes. The world has changed so dramatically since she was crowned, let alone born. I am reminded of my grandmother who once said that she could remember her first car ride and how fast it seemed to be zipping along at a racy 20 miles an hour.
Today I read that she will not have the traditional welcome to Balmoral ceremony. Craigowan Lodge was fitted for a wheelchair lift. Yes it is good to be accessible but I kind of wish it had happened before this. It would have lessened the sadness of the need for it now.
The future is feels more heavy with each day. Her world is getting harder to move about.

Ive been a fan of yours for a while and I have some info to pass on, this info ended up at my work which is in the education policy field in California… apparently Mrs H is wanting her son to get preferential treatment at school and singled out as better… she is unhappy that the teaching staff rebuffed her. So obviously it’s become a joke and passed around us with links to the source that can’t believe her behavior… no child is treated differently or pushed as better than the others and she is to be insinuated bribing higher ups and even had a list of demands for ALL staff in Archie’s school to follow… she also made threats name dropping important people to intimidate trustees & the NAIS as well. She (and H) also doesn’t do anything with the school such as shows, fairs or drop/pick him up…

While it certainly sounds in character for *, I’m going to need independent confirmation that Master Archie actually exists before I could accept that Twit and Twat have a child that features in this anecdote. Also since the ostensible child in question is only 3 years old, his “school” is a nursery. Unless he would be in a full-time daycare, “school” for toddlers is generally 2.5 -3 hours a day of learning how to use crayons and not hit our classmates. Some early literacy stuff happens but it’s very basic and very short. This anecdote makes it sound like he’s a full-fledged elementary school student. (Of course * wants everyone to know how advanced her son is. But he’s only been 3 for a few months. Some nurseries do offer programs for 2-year olds, but again unless it’s also a full time daycare, generally the kids need to be potty trained before they are enrolled.)
I suspect that * herself or her bots are generating rumors about Archie’s school life to bolster his existence. Without naming his nursery, every one in the Montecito area can say “We’re glad he doesn’t go here!”—but that doesn’t actually prove that he does go anywhere. When’s the last time we saw Archie in a photo? Can anyone remember? Over a year ago when ostensibly expecting Lilibet, * Took the opportunity when Harry was out of the country to get herself papped, Float carrying Archie to school”. So at the time Archie would’ve been barely two— Absolutely the youngest nursery student in any institution anywhere— And the child she was pictured carrying looked to be at least four years old and a girl wearing a wool beanie pulled over her ears in the spring.
Going back to school day for the Cambridges real and verified children will be happening soon, so we might expect a flurry of staged photo opportunities from Montecito… Whether that will be before or after the faux Royal tour in September is anyone’s guess.
The queen of Bolivia anecdote just illustrates that her penchant For living in a completely self-absorbed fantasy world remains unchanged since she was 12. As for moving over to the girls Catholic secondary school, I think that probably occurred right after this, for 7th grade.

@Hikari I'm inclined to agree with you that Archie more likely than not does NOT exist. However, if this is the work of * and/or her minions, it makes her look pretty bad. I'd expect to hear something more along the lines of how brilliant Archie is at finger painting and the like; everyone is so amazed by (and jealous of) his natural talent!
In my culture, children do not go to pre-school from such an early age unless the parents work full-time and need to put the kids in daycare. Formal pre-school is for the two years before starting school. Archie is still too young for this.
I realize that the obvious reason for the absurd lies they tell about the children is that they do not exist, but that is from a reasonable and rational perspective.
Could Archie be in daycare? Yes. Why? Because they are unable to retain a nanny to take care of him, and Doria has taken off.

Archie-- There is a Montessori "school" in Montecito. (The one @Sandie mentioned.) Per its website, the "Stars" group there is for kids 2-3.5 years old. Being in that group doesn't require kids to be toilet trained initially but they can't advance to the "Suns" group in diapers.
No idea if the candids (polo, July 4) were really Archie. But the child did look like he had on diapers. And at 3 plus a few months, that wouldn't necessarily be unusual especially for a boy.

It may just be the shot that was posted and maybe some weird shadows. But the pic of MM alone from the zoom call hardly looks like her to me. I doubt that's her real hair as I doubt she has that much hair that will still curl that much. But what's oddest to me are her two front teeth on top. They seem to be, not "buck teeth" but not aligned either & set farther forward than the teeth on each side. That's definitely not how her teeth usually look. This is a most unfortunate narrative that is being peddled. Forgiveness and healing requires: admit you have done wrong, accept your punishment, never repeat the behaviour, never forget the wrong that was done. The perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide were arrested, tried and jailed. That was part of the forgiveness and reconciliation process. The genocide is remembered, not swept under the carpet.
