Gotta give the Mrs credit - she is good at what she does. As Hikari mentioned probably crashed the Skip wedding, coerced her way into the Royal Family, looks to be making nice to Gordon Getty (if Lady C is correct per the family) Great at attaining but not retaining (not her strong suit) That she is still on her feet is kinda remarkable. Disappointing but remarkable

Oh my, Oh my, Oh my, * is going after 90 year-old Gordon Getty, multi-billionaire. Luckily he's got family to keep on eye on him, and the grifter.
Re Gordon Getty,

SwampWoman mentioned trusts. Yes the bulk of the money or all of the money is most likely in a trust, but you can remove money from it as well as add.

The Getty family contacted Lady C so she could make the situation public knowledge. I’m sure the family will step in if Maggot asks for money etc.

It’s still unknown whether she and Mole have actually split, H G Tudor thinks they haven’t, I’ll believe it when I hear about it officially. 😃

IMO, the stories he tells about her in the book really expose her for the manipulative, completely self-centred, shallow and deceitful person she is. It never continues to amaze me that he does not see it. He really must be exceptionally dimwitted.

However, that in itself is not unusual (his dimwittedness). I wandered over to LSA where an Unpopular Opinions: Meghan Markle thread about TBW was taken ultra private. The site has dozens of threads mindlessly adoring TBW and viciously attacking Catherine, with some vitriol reserved for William. The hapless one is notable by his almost complete absence. What I liked about the above-mentioned thread is that the members share information that does not appear elsewhere and have a reasonable and intelligent debate, mostly, (much like here), but they actually never mindlessly and viciously attack TBW with lies they have made up or in a really nasty way. I think the sugars hate stuff like that (that it was popular, reasonable, articulate and thorough).

Some of my favourites stories, from the book, that expose her:

* Collapsing on the stairs or on the floor, sobbing. For goodness sake! Toddlers behave like that.

* Her manipulativeness and compulsion to control from the first date, and even procuring that first date. She even contacted him soon after that short first date. Princess Pushy from the first moment! Some men like a dominant controlling woman. I guess he is one of those men.

* Her total lack of class or refinement. That she shares her life with a man who, despite his upbringing and background, shows no class in how he speaks or what he speaks about is the red flag. But right from the start when she turned up her nose at Frogmore Cottage and its contents she showed her complete lack of appreciation for quality. He gives us a description of what was in his home and, although it probably needed a 'woman's touch', what was there was quality, including unique momentos of his royal life.

For those who have read the whole book ... is there anything you could think to add to the list?

LOL if the Getty family believes that the concept of 'shame' has any relevance for Lodger or Todger.

So, when does the dirt on Meghan come out?

"This is only hearsay, but in London a Brit socialite who knew her way around money, Europe, royalty told me - and my companion, so I wasn't alone in hearing this - that Meghan was known in the old days. 'She was around the famous playgrounds Europeans visit...and known to be shopping for a rich husband.'" That's a quote from Cindy Adams in yesterday's New York Post . Cindy is old - so old that she interviewed the original Duchess of Windsor. "Who was also American,"  writes Cindy.   "She was not happy afterward. She was tough. I interviewed her. She was constantly looking to negotiate some sort of financial betterment." So, when does the dirt start coming out? How about now. Who will drop the information? We've had more than 1200 comments since the Sussex summit on Monday, so please allow me to repeat part of my answer to a question hidden somewhere within that forest of text. A regular commenter asked for my input ...

Meghan, Harry, and Community Property in California

This is what happens when I take too long to write a post. My original idea - that Meghan and Harry should consider purchasing one of the " cheap old houses " popular on Instagram and fix it up as part of a reality series - seems to have been overtaken by events. Page Six is reporting today that Meghan and Harry already have a house in Santa Barbara, near Oprah and Ellen's pads, and in fact have been living there for at least six weeks. (This is not entirely unexpected; Harry's most recent hostage video had a different background than usual.) "This is the first home either of them has ever owned," writes the couple's PR agent via Page 6. "It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family - to have complete privacy for six weeks since they moved in." They could probably still be having complete privacy if the couple's PR team wasn't leveraging their real estate news in order to promote the new book "Finding Freed...

New Year (and what's next?)

Another year and what will it bring for them (and us who watch)?   One thing I thought of is control of their image for appearances.  It isn't just that they have lost so many people in such a fairly short time period but who they lost.  The people who advised, handled details to make the events happen - road trips to volunteering.  We've been saying all along that each loss is a ripple of warning towards a potential new hire coming in.  New hires, yes but what about fund raising?  Cash flow?  This, from SMM, is an interesting read: https://www.reddit.com/r/SaintMeghanMarkle/comments/1puzsvh/impact_report_990_review_from_a_nonprofit/ Which leads us to money.  Keeping their image engine running costs a lot.  No doubt there are a lot details, paperwork, contracts to negotiate and find new groups to partner with.  Hence the need for a good team. The duo could do some of it or all but for how long?   side note: the peopl...
