I've been playing a lot of chess lately. A real thinking of what if, then this or what about that? Always thinking about where to be in future moves. And, what will the other side do in response. One of the problems with taking away all the titles is that now she is reduced to being (merely) Princess Harold from what little I understand about title protocol. (and how long do you think before Princess Meghan, like Princess Diana, would take to emerge and no guesses as to who would drive it?) But ... what if ... only the Sussex and Kilkeel titles were taken away? Allow them to keep Dumbarton. That one never seems to make any headlines - meaning a rare mention to almost never in terms of existence. She would now be Countess or Lady Dumbarton, right?
