Instead, Royals are symbols of the nation. They are there to inspire, to unite, and to represent the contemporary moral code of the nation.
Right now, the UK is facing a moral crisis. Asked to be their "better selves" and help fight the Corona virus by staying out of public places, checking on vulnerable neighbors, and buying only what they need, many British citizens are complying.
Unfortunately, many are not.
Here's a few suggestions as to what the family should be doing right now.
Since he has experience serving on a suicide hotline, William might also be filmed making telephone calls to the elderly, just to check in on them and help them avoid loneliness. Several hotlines have been set up for this purpose; William could visit one of them and take a few calls with the cameras rolling.
It would be a good reminder for other British citizens to check in on their older neighbors.
Kate might even have an expert along to talk about how children could play outside within limits - for example, by playing in a park with their own ball instead of climbing on germy playground equipment.
Showing them FaceTiming, Skyping, Google Hangout-ing, or Zoom-ing their grandchildren from their smartphones would serve as an excellent example.
Perhaps part of the presentation could be one of Charles' staff showing how to set this up. A celebrity that would appeal to the older generation, like Ringo Starr, could also be drafted in for this purpose.
Alternately, the Queen could be shown FaceTiming with some of her other grandchildren, such as Savannah and Isla Phillips. Bonus if she shows the girls the dorgis (Vulcan and Candy) through her smartphone.
Finally, Beatrice and Edo should call off their fancy May wedding and get married immediately at the private chapel at Windsor. In attendance should be Queen, their parents, and Eugenie and Wolfie as Matron of Honor and Best Man. That's all.
This modest, keep-calm-and-carry-on wedding would endear them to British citizens, and maybe even get Bea the place as a working Royal she's wanted for so long.

This is a time when the Royal family should be present and visible. It should help boost public morale, as it did in World War II, and guide their citizens towards the behavior that will help others.Here's a few suggestions as to what the family should be doing right now.

Now that the Sussexes have been essentially de-platformed and rendered a an irrelevant joke, there must be some panic behind the scenes with deals not being made and hemorrhaging money without any funds coming in. Then the question of who will be paying for their security remain up in the air. I'm intrigued about the rumor that they are already angling for a way to weasel themselves back into the RF. Will they be able to use the current worldwide lockdown and uncertainties to their advantage, it'd be the best excuse to save face and paint themselves as caring family members. Going back to the UK to be closer to Harry's family, the family she tried to defame and alienate her husband from.

According to this, Granny has gotten Archie a first birthday present: a Rocking horse. Shipping it appears like it won’t be a problem because also according to this, Archie is in Canada with his parents only “for the moment”. And just like that, four months of drama over Megxit goes poof...But only in Meg’s mind. The rest of us haven’t forgotten, and why should we? It hasn’t even been two weeks since the poison ivy display at Westminster Abbey. She is so full of it.

I said a couple of weeks ago there's a good chance at least Harry would return to the BRF and that was before Covid-19 disrupted the world. Their "independence" requires they downsize their lifestyle.

Doria may have earned degrees online or degrees with online components. I don't know that for a fact. I do know Doria has an MSW from USC. And I do know to be admitted to USC for masters level study Doria would have had to have a bachelor's from an *accredited* university. It could have been earned online or may not have been.
I don't know whether Doria's masters was earned online but I do know it had to have some face-to-face components since it is accredited by CSWE. (Council on Social Work Education)
USC has several MSW programs. Its "online" SWK masters is not entirely online. And like USC's other programs it also requires application in advance of the start date. Not something someone who is "bored" at home while "self-isolating" can just start immediately and finish in a few months.
I don't doubt the idea is Meghan's as she does seem in charge of their IG and does seem more enamoured than Harry with flashy but useless credentials. But I don't know how any of us could know this latest dumb idea has anything to do with Doria (and I'm not a Doria fan.)

So far as I know, Edo's mom (Nikki Williams-Ellis) lives in the UK. I don't know where his father lives. (He has dual British-Italian citizenship, I believe.)

If Harry goes back, MeMe goes back with him. She is nothing, nothing!, without him and I think she knows it. She is little, very little!, with him and without the Royal Family. I will be very disappointed if they are welcomed back and assume duties as if they didn't give all of us two fingers, multiple times.

Humpty H will never be allowed back into the Royal family. If he divorces M, what makes him trustworthy? H is gone.
Can the Harkles tough it out in isolation on Vancouver Island until the world opens up again? Meghan would have no shame in returning to the UK and the BRF and resuming royal duties but I suspect they would have to sit it out for the agreed 12 months, which only starts at the beginning of April. Anything could happen in that time.
The latest IG post about training to be a counsellor online and all the rest of the word salad of trying to stay relevant is bizarre. They increasingly seem so out of touch and seem to be getting everything wrong. Do you think they have cabin fever? So far in their marriage they have taken time out from each other quite often and gone off and kept busy on their own but there must be little opportunity for that on Vancouver Island. Neither seem to me to be the type of person who would read good novels or learn a new skill (painting is in Harry's family).
The US is laughing at them. I can’t Imagine Harry is used to this type of abuse but welcome to Hollywood. Might make Megan leave.

The Harkles will stay quarantined for one year in Canada, then call Granny at the end of the 12 month trial period to say that they want to come home and resume receiving their Royal entitlements.
Meghan will blame Covid for her failure to launch as a progressive independent Royal.
Covid-19 has saved her from humiliating herself.
In the meantime, she will have ruined the mystique of the Royals for people like me.
