Well spotted with Claire Underwood (Played by the very lovely Robin Wright.)
The RF may have been able to make some salacious bits of Meg’s past disappear, But I bet equally skilled forensic cyber cowboys could reconstruct Most of it. Just the stash of compromising photographs on Harry Markle’s blog Are enough to tank a campaign. That burger grilling soft core porn video is still out there, as are the photographs of Meg blazing up a joint on a beach with JM, And passing out bags of weed with Trevor at her first/second wedding. The video of her on camera admitting to committing fraud oh for a fictional SAG card and laughing about it is still out there. We’ve got her on record admitting to A very serious breach of professional ethics. The there are all the financial shenanigans that she’s engaged in even since leaving the royal family. All the lawsuits, the mysteriously disappearing merching income, her previous troubles with the IRS...Not everything has been scrubbed. We are living in a world where prominent celebrities are fired from their influential gigs for using an ill chosen adjective. Plus campaigning is incredibly hard work, exhausting and certainly not glamorous. She wouldn’t get the votes to be student body president, much less anything more important.
adjective. Meg wouldn’t last two weeks.
Megsy has a little sheep
his fleece has hues of carrot
Everything that Megsy says
her sheep is sure to parrot
The character of Claire Underwood is a master study in Interpersonal manipulation. The Underwoods are decidedly and homage to the Clinton marriage and political machinations. Claire is ruthless, no more so than with her own husband, And there are elements of narcissism in her, and a rather cold blooded way to assess the situation dispassionately and act in her best interests. But Claire is also smart, Articulate, effortlessly charming, Always looks like 1 million bucks, Has impeccable southern manners, and the quality that Meg lacks above these: Self restraint.
I haven’t seen past season four yet, but the thing about Claire is that we know she can do the job of the president and do it really well. Meg is just a hot mess on Avocado toast.
Another fantastic one! How do you come up with these?! They just pour out of you like a fountain. Keep them coming!
Drone flew over the Cuckoo’s nest 😉
I think that is your shortest barb, but sharpest yet!
Last one for now, need to grocery shop!!
Which came first, Harry, or Megs egg?
Thanks @Crumpet@Unknown@Hikari
I enjoy doing them.
Megs makes it easy,
she lends herself to many terms,
none are complimentary!
Ah Unknown, the Messiah walking on water 😜
Harry started at Eton in September 1998, so a year after Diana's death.
Our own in-house poet! Never fails to raise a smile. Keep writing, you brighten our days 😀
@Maneki
Cheers 🥂
Re MM's past being scrubbed clean, I'm not so sure. It may have been scrubbed clean for now, on the surface anyway, as Hikari says, the 'RF may have been able to make some salacious bits of Meg’s past disappear,' etc. This occured to me too. I think in a way Megsy's character is now worse than before the wedding because the scales have fallen from people's eyes. People have seen for themselves Meg's pernicious and poisonous behaviour. I am not in America so do correct me if I'm wrong but I very often read, here among other places, how unimportant she is. She is not well known (in the US), apparently, and is not liked. So MM might think she reinvented herself by marrying into the BRF but she has only exposed herself.
About H&M (well, MM) suing unknown paps: how can you sue unknown paps? And if the photos have not been published, how is Archie's privacy compromised? In that case, they should have sued the German magazine.
Has it occurred to them that they had total privacy at Frogmore?
It would be good to know if any Nutties live in H&M's neck of the wood (!) or in that part of LA and can take a trip to Beverly Ridge to confirm there are drones/helicopters flying over TP's mansion like flies over you know what.
Looks like their privacy there works
Were they then rubbed in the young princes' faces by their respective peers? If so, how much of it would they have internalized? ("Well, everyone thinks I'm a bastard anyway, so I might as well . . .") And if they already felt too stifled in their older brothers' shadows, the "legend" of having a different father anyway may have sparked something in the imagination.
That's a great way to look at it. So many things probably happened to them that we will never be privy to. Now the results are coming to a head with Harry and Andrew. I wish I would be alive in 50 years to read the real tea on the whole enchilada of what happened. But I would be in my early 100s and can barley read now due to aging eyesight! Lol.

Thanks for the validation: agreeing on Phillip thoughts. As a newbie, there is something inside of me that wants to hold back out of respect for the regular posters. So I'm not always sure how my thoughts have gone down unless I get a bit of feedback. :)
@Magatha,
All of your poems are so much fun! but I Love this one the best so far:
Dickens had Meg pegged
A modern day Mrs Jellyby
with her “telescopic philanthropy” :D :D
Don't worry about how your thoughts will go down here, just share them. Most of us are pretty open minded and are able to respectfully disagree as needed.
Thanks. Hugs :)
Scrutinized? I’d call it rubbernecking—I can’t look away from the train wreck.
