@LavenderLady, I too believe Meghan is wearing a body prosthesis…for multifaceted reasons, all of which other posters have more eloquently stated, but I am collating for my own satisfaction:
1. To fool us into thinking it’s her own breast-feeding post-birth overweight body
2. To fakely wear progressively bigger prostheses until she gets to the level of sumo-wrestler fake body prosthesis (they exist and look utterly real), ie fatter and fatter so she can claim she is being discriminated against (Harry, now the hateful world is fat shaming poor me)
3. Then she’ll announce she is a new Weight Watchers spokesmodel like Oprah was (and as a bonus, Oprah has 2nd biggest WW ownership interest so probably could force them to sign her to a cushy contract)
4. She will claim bulimia or some other eating disorder and say it’s due to the world’s bullying
5. She will then wear progressively smaller body prostheses so it looks like she’s peeling off the poundage via the weight loss program
6. Ta Dah! She will parade herself around, slim and delusional, thinking the world believes her prevarications

I could be wrong but this is what I think after seeing her all over the internet today. On a humorous note, someone today said they suspect she is now using Oprah’s stylist, or the wardrobe stylist from defunct TV show “Golden Girls”

Ok, agree the white dress is the best even if it is too short (mutton dressed as lamb comes to mind).

But what is that funny bump just above her left hip/thigh?

That, my friend, is the excess blubber hanging over her too tight-waistband on her undergarment. And she is NOT wearing the proper undergarments for that dress, either. Any self respecting woman would have on nude color Spanx (or similar garment) underneath that white dress, and appropriate sized other foundation garments....which would NOT bulge where the elastic is too tight. TBW looked lumpy. She never learns. It's kind of a cute dress if it had been sized/fitted properly, with the right undergarments.

And while I'm commenting....that hair!!!! Witch on steroids, those slut strands are, I suspect, the only hair that she grew herself, and nasty (and dirty looking). And Why is her part not the same color as the rest of her face? I know when my face is tan, so is my part. The very same color, too. Her part is always snow white, leading me to believe it's fake.

Re the way H treated those children - we saw a flash of temper rather like that at the Well Child Event, though there wasn't anything physical as I recall.
So perhaps it's not what she's doing now that's made her put on the pounds - it's that she stopped doing whatever it was she was doing before?
In Lady C’s latest video she said Maggot was advertising/merchandising a certain (she refused to name them) company’s new season winter coats. She said before she married Mole would he seen around wearing the new seasons coats etc. This is why she was wearing winter coats in such hot weather. ๐Ÿ™„

I agree the off white dress is the best thing she wore and agree it needed to be a few inches longer. ๐Ÿฅด

TBW —hair part color

my guess, for the concert , she changed to a side part so the skin was closer to her natural skin color, not exposed to the uv sun /tanned or bronzer. her middle part is probably the same, everyday she probably wears a loosely pulled back messy ponytail with no part or maybe a hat so it isnt exposed to UV/sun for tanning or the bronzer thing.

I’m calling this NY visit a win. Please feel free to disagree.

Granted, 6es set an incredibly low bar for themselves based on past royal tours (which this is not). Mrs 6 was not dressed offensively - no flashing her bra or an inappropriate amount of flesh. Mrs 6 is always more interested in brand than fit or season. I would prefer to see her in a dress from Target that fit, but she cares as a much for my opinion as she does her staff’s. Mrs 6 appeared to behave in a polite manner with others. I did not see her offensively pushing her agenda on others. Perhaps, birds of a feather...

Mr 6 was dressed appropriately and looked good. IF the wire in the photos was a recording devise, that would change my option on the whole visit. I do not know the law about recording others without their knowledge in NY state. Even if it is legal, it would be unethical for a non-working royal Prince to record individuals without their knowledge/permission for personal gain, in my opinion. IF 6 was wear a wire, was all of Mrs 6’s winter clothing hiding a wire as well?

If they had behaved in the same manner in the past, would they have been a success as working royals? At first, I thought yes, but I suppose not as the purpose of this visit appears to be self-promotion for personal gain.
Girl with a Hat said…
@Birdie,

I disagree. The morning television shows in the USA made fun of them. They made fun of the price of her clothes, the fact that she was promoting her book at the school visit, their lack of status for a greeting by the mayor and the UN, etc.

People say that the DM hate her, yet they didn't mention how violent Harry was with the children, nor that people were asking them why they were at the school, etc.

Girl with a Hat said…
@Birdie,

I forgot to say, that her poor choice in clothes is making her the laughing stock of the world, and any "win" she could have had is going to be tempered by the image of her with that messy hair and extra weight in a rather ugly mini dress.

It's going to be the photo people use of her, rather than the sweaty pits photo from the Canadian embassy. It's going to become iconic.

To the rest of the world my money is on it looked very staged, not well planned, transactional, and fake. The question that begs to be answered is why were they even there?

IMO for what it's worth.

Forgot to say I too think the dress was way too short.

As @Magatha pointed out, her knees have gone south. She's too young for that so it indicates she does zero gym work. Adding inches to the hem of the dress wouldn't help. The dress was completely wrong for her current figure. Indicates no money for a stylist. She's using merch material.

At first I thought perhaps the reason they did not meet with higher up people at the UN was because someone within the BRF was going to be doing some associated deal with the UN (on this or a different topic) but then I remembered she has history with a group within the UN. Perhaps it was that someone tipped them off because they not only remember but are not working in that area to have the right people listen.

She did not look happy to say the least.

New York is a one party state so they can pretty much do what they want because they will give themselves the permission.

That bump does not come off as a bulge of fat - more like the cover of a colostomy bag. If you look to the left of the bracelet, it starts on that line and then goes up for a couple of inches and does not appear on the other side.

Later on Thursday Harry met with the President of Angola, Joao Lourenco, to discuss the country’s de-mining efforts and environmental issues before taking off in the cavalcade of gaz-guzzling vehicles in which the couple was transported around town

Are they so thick and insensitive that they can't see the hypocrisy of using a 'cavalcade of gaz-guzzling vehicles' and private jets when discussing environmental issues? Rhetorical question. Let's hope some people have now seen them for what they are.
I may be wrong but I don’t think we picked up on the H$Ms criticism of the pharmaceutical companies in their deluge of drivel:

Scientists take a jab at Sussexes’ attack on pharmaceuticals not sharing vaccine recipes

Duke and Duchess were wrong in saying making ingredients freely available to everyone will solve global vaccine inequity, claim experts
ByJoe Pinkstone, SCIENCE CORRESPONDENT26 September 2021 • 7:18pm

Pharmaceutical companies sharing the Covid-19 recipe free of charge would not solve the world’s vaccine equity issues, experts said, despite what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may believe.

Speaking in New York at the weekend, the Duke said: “[Experts] said many countries are ready to produce vaccines back home yet they aren’t allowed to because ultra-wealthy pharmaceutical companies are not sharing the recipes to make them.

“These countries have the means, the abilities and the workers to start manufacturing. All they are waiting for is the vaccine intellectual property [IP] to be waived and the vaccine technology to be transferred over.”

However, while scientists agree that jabs should be distributed worldwide as a priority, the majority also believe relinquishing IP is not a panacea.

“We agree with the Sussexes that action is needed now to ensure Covid-19 vaccines are quickly and equitably shared around the world,” Thomas Cueni, the director general of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations, told The Telegraph.

“Waiving intellectual property rights of Covid-19 vaccines will not increase production nor provide practical solutions needed to battle this global health crisis. As we have consistently stated, a waiver is the simple, but wrong, answer to what is a complex problem.

“Since we now have billions of vaccines that have been produced and many more in the pipeline, calls for waiving IP is a distraction.”

Mr Cueni added that the real challenges are trade barriers, supply chain bottlenecks, a lack of raw materials, and a reluctance among rich countries to share doses.

The solution to the vaccine apartheid is political leadership, he says, as there are 1.2 billion spare doses between the UK, US, EU and Canada.

“These numbers are proof that the vaccine manufacturing scale-up is such that the issue is not scarcity of supply, the issue is redistribution,” Mr Cueni said.
Waiving IP ‘won’t resolve vaccine inequity’

Dr Michael Head, the senior research fellow in global health at the University of Southampton, added: “The level of inequity in the vaccine rollout is unacceptable. A release of vaccine IP would be helpful, but it wouldn’t in itself resolve the inequity. There are many variables that have contributed to this unsatisfactory situation.”

Dr Simon Clarke, associate professor in cellular microbiology at the University of Reading, said: “People often assume that there is a single patent behind each vaccine, there is not, there are multiple patents and they would all have to be opened.

“With the RNA vaccines in particular, I don’t believe that there are many places in the developing world that could manufacture them at scale.”

@Girl with a Hat

I find the comment from the DM re. LaH's IQ meaningless. Administering a test doesn't mean interpreting the results, same as administering an exam. It is not possible to determine an IQ the way the commenter said. We know H is not an academic but an IQ of 80 is borderline mental retardation.
I was taught that all an IQ test measures is the ability to do IQ Tests!
Girl with a Hat said…
@Maneki Neko,

I think that the person also has experience with the people's scores and seeing how they are as people. As for Harry, not being able to pass his exams in A levels in Art attests to a very low IQ.

I changed my mind on the white dress after seeing a close up of the embellishments. Whoever said they look like Golden Girls is correct! I like the shape of the dress, but it’s too short for her. The length of the black pencil skirt she wore underneath the camel coat is a more flattering length on her. However I still think she looks better in that more seasonally appropriate dress than when she was wrapped up for winter.
The bulge on one side is puzzling. You can also see it under her sweater as she arrives back in CA.
Knights in White Satin is one of my favorites, too! Bravo, Magatha.

@WBBM
You are correct, we did. not discuss Harry’s comments about sharing vaccine IP. Thank you for posting the article, it is very informative and interesting as once again H “the expert” does not know what he is lecturing about—he is just not that informed.
I recall what a headache distribution of the mRNA vaccines was due to their specific refrigeration needs. I would think that those needs would be problematic in other countries around the world, too. This is in addition to the differing manufacturing capabilities of other countries.

Don't know about the why. My experience with them is sorta limited to a family member who passed over 25 years ago. It was the placement (from what I remember) and that I could not come up with an explanation for undergarments making it.

From what I understand, colostomies can be a short term or a permanent thing. If she were to have one even temporarily, I would think that it would be a major major hit to how she views herself, her body and if we thought she was into privacy before, I would expect her to be absolutely ratcheting up privacy factor of not wanting anyone to know.

I did remember correctly: one of the Bush family members (Marvin) has one from Ulcerative Colitis and some IBD.

Actually a small insulin pump like this might be a better explanation. It is more rectangular (like bump) than the circularness of the colostomy.

Kate and Prince William enjoy pub lunch with family in Norfolk
John Dunne
Mon, 27 September 2021, 5:20 pm
William and Kate enjoyed a low-key pub lunch in a countryside beer garden with their children at the weekend.

The couple gathered around a wooden table with Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

They showed they were down-to-earth as they enjoyed eating chips and burgers outside in the pub garden.

The family, who brought along their black spaniel, were out for the day in Norfolk enjoying the last of the summer sunshine on Sunday.

George looked casual in a T-shirt, shorts and trainers for the family lunch.
Onlookers said William ordered a burger and the royals looked relaxed in each other’s company.

The Duchess of Cambridge was enjoying family time after a whirlwind of royal engagements.
Recently, Kate visited Brize Norton in Oxfordshire to meet Afghan veterans and joined cadets in Lake Windemere.

Her most recent engagement saw the tennis fan meet US Open tennis champion Emma Raducanu for the first time in Roehampton.

Prince William was also busy with royal duties in recent weeks, including spending the day with emergency services in London.

A local told The Sun: “It would have been easy to miss them and just assume they were any other family. They were laughing and chatting and clearly enjoying each other’s company. They were eating outside, I suppose because it was easier for the children.

“There was no security around, just them chilling like any other family. Wills had a burger and chips. They had their pet dog, a spaniel with them, and they were all laughing. There was one particularly touching moment where one of the children got upset because their food was too hot.

“William was so fast to reassure them and sort them out. It was fantastic to see.”

Thank you for sharing the article about the Cambridges' pub lunch.
Indeed this is how to be a modern royal. Totally different than Megs who wanted to "modernize the Monarchy."

Also your previous comment about her not standing correctly--she has never stood correctly from the beginning--the way she stood in her engagement photos with H was really weird!

Wow just did a quick check in. The Murky Meg situation is scary! If they can do this to her (IP ban) can they do this to LSA and to this blog? I dare them to try this with Lady C.

I remember a couple of years ago another anti-Harkle site/blog went down as well and it was from the inside. I can't remember the name .

Very upsetting. Lots of prayers needed.

I just thought I’d copy and paste the WSJ article that’s been mentioned, in case anyone would like to read it:

Prince Harry and Meghan Hustle to Become Royalty—in Hollywood
The big unknown: whether audiences will pay attention when the couple isn’t spilling the tea on the royal family

By Erich Schwartzel

Sept. 25, 2021 12:00 am ET

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and sixth in line to the British throne, had slipped away from his fellow royals to meet with the queen of media.

In a London hotel room in 2018, Oprah Winfrey listened as the prince described his mental-health struggles as a member of the world’s most famous family. Even his trip that day to the hotel—through a back door, to avoid the paparazzi—was a reminder of the restrictions and constant scrutiny that he lived under.

It was a deeply personal conversation, but the prince and Ms. Winfrey weren’t alone. Also in the room, sitting nearby but keeping quiet, was Jon Kamen, a New York-based film and television producer. To him it looked like something else: a hit.

“Guys,” he later told his producing partners, “the format of this show—we witnessed it in that hotel room.”

Nearly three years later, Mr. Kamen, the chief executive of RadicalMedia, would be wrapping up the Hollywood project that resulted from that meeting: “The Me You Can’t See,” a six-episode series on mental health released by Apple Inc. in May. A conversation between Prince Harry and Ms. Winfrey—not unlike that hotel room heart-to-heart—anchored every episode. Prince Harry co-produced the series and shared intimate details of the sweat-drenched anxiety attacks and profound sadness that he said gripped his time in the spotlight.

“I always wanted to be normal, as opposed to Prince Harry,” he says in the documentary.

If there was a moment when the scion of a tradition-bound dynasty bridged the gulf to his new life as a bare-it-all Hollywood producer, it may have been this: working with Oprah Winfrey on a TV show that mined his personal history for a streaming platform operated by the world’s richest company.

Since leaving behind their royal duties last year and moving to California, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have netted tens of millions of dollars in deals with media companies like Netflix Inc. and Spotify Technology SA, many of which rely on their proximity to their previous life in England.

Getting there has been no fairy tale. Interviews with associates and colleagues of the couple reveal years of behind-the-scenes hustling that laid the groundwork for a major Hollywood arrival that will blanket the couple across film, TV, podcasts and books. They mined personal connections and friendships. They met with potential suitors and evaluated streaming services for their ability to reach a global audience, securing a deal reported to be in the $100 million range from Netflix in the process. And they have frequently excavated their own personal lives to draw eyeballs, trying to wrest control of the narrative by lambasting critics and telling the story themselves.
Anonymous said…
In essence, to escape a life under the microscope, they chose a different microscope.

Mr. Kamen observed how, for Prince Harry, the Apple series wasn’t just a tour of his emotional past, even touching on the trauma of the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in a car crash when he was 12 years old. It was also an educational primer on the producing duties that may define his future.

Prince Harry joined Zoom meetings with Ms. Winfrey—first from England, then in Canada, and finally in Montecito, Calif. He shared with the series’ producers his contacts with the global elite to enlist more participants, and suggested the formation of an advisory board that helped the team navigate the sensitive topics they were exploring. He vetted the subjects and pushed to bring in interviewees from beyond the Western world. He watched early edits and turned in notes faster than Ms. Winfrey.

Streaming companies have spent generously for outsider producers like Barack and Michelle Obama and Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai, but skepticism is growing in the industry that big names translate into big profits. The Duke and Duchess’s deal includes shows that have little to do with their personal connections, raising a critical question: Does anyone care about them when they aren’t spilling the tea on the royal family?

Calling Hollywood

Prince Harry and Meghan, a former actor, started building their Hollywood Rolodex almost immediately after their May 2018 wedding—an event watched by 29 million people in the U.S. and attended by Ms. Winfrey.

They met with power brokers like Jeffrey Katzenberg, who contacted them to discuss a project that would highlight their philanthropic pursuits through his short-lived Quibi streaming service. Taking a meeting with the couple then often meant signing a nondisclosure agreement, according to those who met with them.

Meghan began a relationship with Netflix that same year, through a connection to her deceased mother-in-law. David Furnish, a Canadian filmmaker, wanted to produce an animated series with the Duchess. Mr. Furnish’s husband, the singer Elton John, had been close friends with Princess Diana.

In July, Netflix announced it was developing that idea into “Pearl,” a family show about a young girl whose adventures are informed by her interactions with famous women from history.

The prince also had a yearslong friendship with an industry heavyweight to lean on. He met Walt Disney Co. Executive Chairman Robert Iger at an overseas conference years ago, a relationship that has evolved into something of a mentor role since he moved to California, people close to the two men say.

One awkward example of how even those with royal lineage have to hustle in Hollywood came up in 2019, when Prince Harry and Mr. Iger had a mini-reunion on the red carpet at “The Lion King” premiere.

“You do know she does voice-overs?” Prince Harry asked Mr. Iger, gesturing to his wife in a video that circulated after the event. To outsiders, it appeared he was advocating for Meghan to get a job.

“Ah, I did not know that,” Mr. Iger responded. He turned toward his own wife with a smile while Meghan chatted with Beyoncรฉ and Jay-Z on his other side.

“You seem surprised,” Prince Harry said. “She’s really interested.”

Mr. Iger turned serious. “We’d love to try. That’s a great idea,” he said.

A year later, Meghan did voice-over work that associates say had already been planned for “Elephants,” a Disney documentary that the couple had seen filming during an earlier visit to Botswana. When the movie premiered on Disney’s flagship streaming service, Disney+, her involvement drew greater than usual media coverage for a nature documentary.

But the Disney team also grew privately concerned that critical tabloid reports about Meghan would depress viewership in the U.K.—a signal of the challenge of working with a producer better known for her personal life.

Buckingham Palace had no issues with such entertainment projects, which had a philanthropic or advocacy purpose, according to people familiar with the matter. Once the couple left the palace—in part due to personal tensions and constant scrutiny from British tabloids—they were able to pursue more commercial work.

Touchdown in L.A.

Soon after their arrival in Los Angeles in March 2020, the couple crashed at the 25,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home of director Tyler Perry before settling in Montecito, not far from Ms. Winfrey’s mansion. They hired an attorney who had worked on big-ticket streaming deals. For the Duchess, who had worked as Meghan Markle, it was a return to the Hollywood scene she’d known since nearly birth.

Her father, Thomas Markle, was a lighting designer in Los Angeles, and she would often joke that she grew up on the set of the bawdy 1990s sitcom “Married…With Children,” visiting her father after school.

While attending Northwestern University, she studied abroad in Argentina and interned for the U.S. Embassy. She thought she would go into politics. Instead, she went into her hometown industry, booking parts like “hot girl” in the 2005 Ashton Kutcher rom-com “A Lot Like Love” and appearing as Briefcase Model #11, Briefcase Model #12 and Briefcase Model #24 on the game show “Deal or No Deal” from 2006 to 2007. She called the show her “very lucrative waitressing job,” and made ends meet by doing calligraphy for celebrity wedding invitations.

Her breakthrough was in the summer of 2011, with USA Network’s “Suits,” a show about an unlicensed attorney who starts working at a law firm. The Duchess was cast as Rachel Zane, a sharp paralegal trying to get into law school. By the show’s second season, more than 3 million viewers were tuning in each week.

“Suits” gave Meghan a platform to explore some of the priorities she’d had outside of show business, traveling to South Carolina to hear the stories of high-school students who overcame bullying and bigotry. By 2014, she was speaking out for gender equality and attending events at the United Nations.

Meghan said she wanted to move behind the scenes after she got married. She has said, in subsequent interviews, including a headline-generating sit-down with Ms. Winfrey that aired on CBS earlier this year, that the tabloids’ prying into her personal life drove her to depression and suicidal thoughts.

The couple’s biggest draws in Hollywood have relied on those personal details—in the interviews with Ms. Winfrey; a podcast about how they and friends spent the pandemic, the sole result so far of a Spotify deal reportedly worth around $20 million; and a book deal with publisher Penguin Random House said to be worth around $20 million that was announced in July and will include the prince’s personal memoir.

The boy who saw his mother die because of the camera’s glare, said “Me You Can’t See” producer Mr. Kamen, “understands the power of media.”

The talks

In Hollywood, the prince has tried to expand his output beyond the personal, casting himself as a next-generation David Attenborough, the nature documentarian famous for films like “Planet Earth.” He already has experience in that realm, working on a 2018 documentary about saving rhinos from dehorning practices called “Stroop: Journey into the Rhino Horn War.”

The Duke and Duchess hit the market during a rush that turned into streaming-service FOMO—fear of missing out on the producer who would deliver a breakthrough hit. For streamers competing against one another, getting J.J. Abrams, the Obamas or any other notable name signed was as much about bringing them in-house as it was keeping them out-of-house elsewhere.

Though they had scant producing experience, Prince Harry and Meghan had a few advantages. They are globally recognized names at a time when streaming services are competing for viewers around the world. They are a young family at a time when most megadeal signers are midcareer professionals, making them a potential draw for younger audiences absorbed in TikTok and other services.

The couple’s lawyers set up meetings with companies only after conveying the range of investment they were looking for, hoping to avoid putting the couple through talks that were just about meeting the famous pair. Disney, Netflix, Apple and NBCUniversal were among those who met with the couple or their team.

Netflix won, signing their Archewell Productions, a division of their company formed last year and named for the Greek word “arche,” which means “source of action” and served as inspiration for their son Archie’s name.

“Through its creative partnership with Netflix, Archewell Productions will utilize the power of storytelling to embrace our shared humanity and duty to truth through a compassionate lens,” the company said when the deal was announced.

Netflix wasn’t the highest bidder, according to a person familiar with the matter, but the couple was drawn to the service’s global footprint, its focus on children’s programming and the menu of other shows it could carry, from documentaries to scripted series.

The deal came just as skepticism across the industry was growing over such arrangements. Studios fell over themselves to woo creators like Mr. Abrams in deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars, but only a few such arrangements have yielded commensurate hits. And even as Netflix talent deals produce home runs like Shonda Rhimes’s “Bridgerton,” many of the service’s breakout shows have also come from relatively unknown creators, with programming like “The Tiger King” and “The Queen’s Gambit.”

Archewell is also competing for growing interest in royal-family programming. Netflix’s fourth season of “The Crown,” about the life of Prince Harry’s grandmother, won outstanding drama series at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday. Actress Kristen Stewart is generating awards buzz for her turn as his mother in the coming movie “Spencer.” Princess Diana is even getting the musical treatment in a show called “Diana,” slated to open on Broadway in November.

Prince Harry and Meghan have spent the past several months hiring executives like podcast veteran Rebecca Sananes as head of audio, joining a handful of employees.

She reports to Ben Browning, Archewell’s head of content, who was hired in March. Mr. Browning earned acclaim most recently for co-producing “Promising Young Woman,” a revenge fantasy about surviving sexual assault that was nominated for best picture this year at the Academy Awards.
Anonymous said…
Now Mr. Browning is heading a company that will, in its words, “share impactful content that unlocks action.”

So far, that has meant safe, feel-good programming.

Archewell isn’t going to produce the next “Chucky,” as one business associate described it, but the team is trying to avoid programming that seems overly earnest.

Any production will have a hard time outshining the books and interviews that have broken the seal of custom and reserve that define the royals. In “The Me You Can’t See,” Prince Harry spoke of recalling the sound of horse hooves from his mother’s funeral. He talked of Meghan crying at night because of the cruelty of the London tabloids, and how his son said “Grandma Diana” from an early age. And most notably, in a separate interview with Ms. Winfrey, the couple shared the bombshell that an unidentified member of the royal family openly speculated to Harry on the skin tone of their child.

It’s undeniably good TV, but it also means the Sussexes bring a unique set of baggage to a working relationship. While producing “The Me You Can’t See,” Mr. Kamen was approached by the producers of the Broadway musical “Diana.” It was being filmed for release on Netflix—the kind of adaptation Mr. Kamen’s company had done to great acclaim with the blockbuster musical “Hamilton.” He passed on the opportunity, worried that Prince Harry would be angry with him if he got involved with a show about his mother.

Mr. Kamen never mentioned to Prince Harry how he had passed on the project, but now he doesn’t know if the prince would have cared. After all, the prince and his wife soon signed their own deal with Netflix.

Thanks for doing all this copy & paste. I don't know how you or other Nutties found the article but personally, I find the tone very sympathetic, verging on the sycophantic at times. For instance, In Hollywood, the prince has tried to expand his output beyond the personal, casting himself as a next-generation David Attenborough, the nature documentarian famous for films like “Planet Earth.” Let's see: Sir David Attenborough has been interested in fossils and natural specimens since childhood, went to Cambridge to study geology and zoology and has spent his long life (he's 95) working with animals and natural history. So H as 'a next-generation David Attenborough', I don't think so. I hope not too many people the other side of the pond fall for this hagiographic bumf.
Fifi LaRue said…
Hairy's not too bright; there's no way he's another David Attenborough. In fact, Hairy might be so dim witted that the Mrs. considers him a ball and chain, but he's useful just for his name. I was going to say family connections, but the 6s made sure to get rid of the family connections. Bad move.

Very good insight that when the 6s are failing, more rumors get spread about the Cambridges.

I feel very sorry for those poor disadvantaged children in Harlem. They were being recorded without permission. In an upper class school that would never have happened. When the Suckits turn in this pile of manure to Netflix, hopefully Netflix will perform due diligence in obtaining legal permission from all people and children being exploited by the Suckits.

And, Hairy did aggressively push that child away. A parent with real children would never have done that. Never. He is no parent.
There are no Suckit children.

@Maneki

The way I read the article is that H is trying to cast himself as the next generation David Attenborough rather than the WSJ saying H should take on that role. No comparison between the two in qualifications. Although not being qualified never stops the 6s from pretending they are experts and qualified.

Harkles call for vaccine companies to make public the intellectual property of the vaccines.

More hypocrisy from them imo. Im no great fan of drug companies but also understand they did the R and D and there are many issues involved like multiple patents, intelle tual property, manufacturing and abilty to manufacture, lack of raw materials, etc etc .

Anyway who are the Harkles to demand that drug companies release their trade secrets when the Harkles release nothing. Perhaps the Harkles shoukd lead by example and release all employees, associates, and general public from their Non Disclosure Agreements? Or release a real picture or 2 of the 7 or 8? Or release all copyrights they hold for pictures, books, letters to dear old dad, upcoming netflix projects and podcasts, etc? Granted all of their secrets and IP arent going to cure cancer, covid or help anyone.... but i do find it hypocritical, yet again, of them to demand it of others

@ JHanoi re: IP

I totally agree with your comment about their hypocrisy. Their lectures aimed at “the rich Pharma companies” urging them to release their patented formulations proves they know nothing about vaccine and drug manufacturing, According to TBW, third world countries can quickly produce the vaccines, but that scenario is unlikely and could be deadly, especially with an injectable drug. The poor quality of medications from some of these countries is well documented and widely known. Surely the healthcare experts (cough) at the UN and the Chelsea Clinton Slush Fund are aware of this issue.
TBW and 6 act like fourteen year olds who expect adults to be impressed with their idealistic and simplistic views on virtually everything. It is absolutely insulting to anyone with any real life experience.

Sigh. She looks so wonderful/striking. Thrilled for her (and not just for her husband) but that she is not just so WoW to look at physically but so impressively WOW inside as a person as we have been able to see time and time again.

Dressed up or Dressed down, she appears to be someone approachable and that you would want to have as a friend.

@LL, you’re welcome! I’m glad I was helpful! I have an okay memory. It’s a strength, of few, I have!! It’s an interesting disappearance she pulled, some money fraud and 6w connection for sure.

Catherine is truly glowing....I think it's from the inside out.

It's so interesting watching this. No inane hand-holding. No Photoshop. No sloppy ill-fitting clothes. No hidden microphones. No roughing up little kids.

Watch everyone around them. All great big smiles. And you can tell her husband is quite impressed. And that picture of her hugging Charles. How awesome is that. Exactly what family should be about.

How will the 6s respond to this golden night!? ✨✨✨✨
Catherine is just breathtaking. William made me giggle like a teen! Even Charles & Camilla had a wonderful aura. Basking in their glow is so refreshing!!

Their response to this could be?

Yes, Catherine is breath-takingly beautiful. Moreover, it's a beauty that radiates from within.

TBW on the other other hand is ugly through and through - I don't just mean in some unfortunate photos.

As for H believing he's a second Sir David Attenborough - why, `Bless his heart' for the poor ignoramus that he is. The epitome of `unconsciously incompetent'.

An amusing story from Richard Eden in the DM...

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Royal Family want to throw punches at Prince Harry, jokes Mike Tindall

Prince William was visibly angry when he was forced to deny publicly that the Royal Family was racist after Harry and Meghan's claims in their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Now, Mike Tindall has let slip the full extent of the Windsors' fury. Former England rugby star Tindall — the husband of Harry's cousin Zara — has joked the royals would like to throw a few punches at the Prince after his recent behaviour.

He made the comments on Monday at A Question Of Sport Live at the London Palladium, where he joined his former England teammate Matt Dawson.

Dawson recalled a boozy night out celebrating England's 2003 Rugby World Cup win at a bar in Sydney, where they were joined by Harry, who had travelled Down Under.

Three sheets to the wind, Tindall and teammate Iain Balshaw thought it would be amusing to throw a few punches at the Prince, to see how long it would take his protection officers to pin them to the ground (a few seconds, it turned out).

'At Balmoral, the family are now having the same conversation,' said Tindall, who added: 'Except the Queen has taken his security away.' Harry complained to Oprah about the removal of his royal protection.

Tindall has never mentioned his Sydney 'assault' on Harry before. He may have alluded to it last year on a podcast with England star James Haskell. Talking about how he could be depicted in Netflix drama The Crown, Tindall said: 'That has to be the main incident, if it was there — the full Harry slap.'

Haskell responded: 'They don't even know about that. Now you've revealed that.'

Wow, Catherine was a showstopper at the Bond premier. There is one pic of her walking ahead and behind her, there was a gaggle of well-dressed men all looking very happy, smiling broadly and taking pics of her back with their handphones. :) She certainly had their attention.

As for Camilla, I thought she looked lovely - never seen her look better. That baby blue gown suited her hair colour perfectly.

William then handling a big snake. He didn't look too happy. He seemed to cheer up at the whisky tasting. They probably needed a drink after that.

@Natalier,

One thing I've noticed in photos of Catherine is that people behind her always look at her with a smile on their faces, no matter what the occasion.

She seems to radiate good cheer and kindness and is also always perfectly turned out, is the reason.

hahaha

I wondered how Lainey Lui would handle Catherine's spectacular appearance at last night's Bond premiere. Her reaction was to talk about the premiere and how a black woman should replace Daniel Craig (she is the wokest of the woke, after all) but she completely ignored Catherine.

Over the weekend, she gave Harry's wife a tongue cleaning about how they were the "power couple" and much more highly regarded than William and Catherine. I would expect nothing more from the woman who started the William and Rose cheating rumour for TBW.
O/T?
Doubtless the snake had been fed well before being passed to William.

I've always had a horror of these reptiles but I made myself handle a rat snake (or was it a milk snake?) at an agric.college open day (they taught an animal care course) and finally managed to control myself enough to hold a boa constrictor. I too was very glad to be able to hand it back. Yes, I could done with a very stiff drink!

On Malta, I was once tramping through low scrub when I spotted coils on the ground a couple of paces ahead. My start reaction was so violent I shot straight up in the air as the thing went to strike. It missed, passing beneath my feet. It might have got my ankle had I frozen. Don't let anyone tell you that you're being silly if you start easily - it's an ancient reflex for dealing with just such situations.

I couldn't live in Oz, Florida, or anywhere else like that.

@Catlady1649,

There are photos of William and Harry handling a large 8ft python when they were in Botswana together in 2010 and Harry definitely looked the more comfortable out of the two!

Quite apt... as he now has his very own snake to keep him company! ๐Ÿ

Thanks for the link!

I suppose if anyone were to question this comment about the security being removed by TQ (yay her!!), the response could be "we had a tad too much to drink".

Quite the public statement from a member of the RF. But an excellent one!

Many people the world over would like to give him the full Harry slap- and to hissss slapper as well...

Comment from the DM on today's Eden piece posted by @Miggy,
____

MyMostHumbleOpinion from Lexington, USA

"I'm embarrassed for them. They clearly don't need all that security as more famous couples than them can walk along Central Park and LA without any. But when they hire a dozen of them, it makes them feel important and think we will believe they are important as well. They are very arrogant for two ex royals living off the donations of others. They just put the name of their Foundation on it instead of holding a sign at the street corner".

Love the optics of them putting a name of the foundation on a sign and standing on corners as panhandlers. One response was what a perfect description. I agree.

I came here to gush with everyone over Catherine's look at the Bond red carpet premiere. Prince William looked extra dashing, too, of course, but Catherine was a stunner. The dress was the perfect choice. Retro yet modern -- like the James Bond franchise itself. And unlike anything she has worn before.

Catherine was definitely the royal standout of the evening, but all four senior royals looked truly lovely. Camilla made me grin from ear to ear, too. We've seen Prince Charles and Prince William in formal wear before, but I could swear they had an extra bit of swagger to them tonight. Have we just been starved for glamour all these months or did the BRF pull out extra stops for that evening?

And now may I confess that one of my earliest thoughts was that all the shapeless pantsuits in Montecito were being shredded in rage?

Another thing that I noticed is that everyone around Kate, William, Charles and Camilla are smiling.. film techs, photographers.. everyone.. whereas the people around the Harkles tend to look miserable.

This is spot on! One of my favorite photos of the event includes some spectators who are smiling broadly at Prince William and Catherine. They looked happy to be there and thrilled to have an excellent view of such a good-looking couple. Decades from now, they'll be telling their grandchildren about the night King William and Queen Catherine outshone Hollywood A-listers on their own red carpet.

Whereas all we get from people who have been around the Harkles are complaints about their behavior. And that one time they were on a yellow carpet, she wore an ill-fitting dress, repelled the Disney bigwigs she wanted to attract, and made enemies of Jay-Z and Beyoncรฉ. Eat your heart out, Mrs. Harry.

Speaking of *that dress* (and no one's speaking of anything else) has anyone seen that she got it on sale, I think for $1580 or so (I think US)? Sorry I didn't see the GBP cost. Where I saw it reported OF COURSE contrasted it to the NY wardrobe costs of you know who. Which I don't remember now and don't care to look up.

On sale -- can you imagine?? And looking like a dream?

And then to come out today in a pantsuit, taking down that wonderful updo . . . just too hold a spider??? What a woman.

Some for thoughts about **that dress**...

Yes,@Teasmade, amazing price! And I thought I read that it was custom-made, too? Catherine is an amazing shopper ;) (Or her stylist!!)

Also, her earrings were also custom-made I think at about @300 pounds? I still woudn't pay that much....but at least it is definitely much more in the "normal" range for jewelry as compared with TBW.

Finally....did anyone else notice that the dress had A CAPE?!?! I think that is a major subtle dig to someone's Oh-So-Public attempt to play a superhero ;)

I would subscribe to a pay per view - weekly show, each member of the royal family has a swipe at 6 and his wife - punches, words, water cannon, wig pulling. And this week we have rugby star Mike Tindall choosing a bar setting to lay a few punches on the former Prince Harry. Oooh good aim mike, thats gonna hurt. Next week, we have princess charlotte practicing her corn on the cob move and will bite the legs of the ms markle. Stay tune to another episode of Slap a Sussex. Piers can do the color commentary. Again netflix, im waiting for my call; i have a ton of these programming ideas!!

@OKay:

Gee, thanks! Well, I've been around a long time...

@Snarky - Slap a Sussex? Indeed, trying to keep up with them is like playing Whack a Mole, as I think somebody said once before - something about the way they pop up just when we're thankful for a break. My first visit to Hamley's that wonderful toyshop in Regent Street, was when I was 50 ( I had a whale of a time making up for a `deprived' childhood and years of being grown-up) & I recall a version with cockroaches. Perhaps an enterprising manufacturer could do one with the Sussexes?

Our use their faces for an Aunt Sally?

Then of course, there's `Splat the Rat' another game for village fetes - see https://www.better-fundraising-ideas.com/fete-ideas-splat-the-rat.html Give the `rat' a ginger hair do and beard.

We'd be able to work off our frustration with them in a most satisfactory way.

@Girl in the hat...Back when Lainey first started her blog, I liked it but it was a very different blog then, a proper Hollywood bitch fest that was fun and didn't take itself too seriously. Remember when she fan girled over Gwyneth Paltrow 24/7 before her whiteness because an issue? Then she started bringing in writers who can't write and going hard core woke, right along with all of Hollywood. By the time Meghan stepped on the scene and was starting to cause chaos in her wake, I could tell that Lainey was her unofficial mouthpiece, despite her claims otherwise. Like you said, she leaked the affair, which if true, is pretty low considering Lainey's woke politics is not to moralize affairs unless they are perpetrated by straight white men. Regardless of what one makes of the Meghan/Harry vs Royal Family Feud Game, the affair, real or not, had nothing to do with their problems and should have been off limits. But Lainey showed her stripes that not only can she not be any semblance of fair but that she's a hypocrite of the wokest degree.

So I stopped reading her ugly predictable word vomit years ago but came back now and then over a topic here and there. I left for good right after the Oprah interview dropped. I knew she'd be in high gear with her pro-Sussex propaganda and didn't need to read what she had to say. She made it clear from the beginning of the chaos that ensued soon after we learned they were an item. I also don't want to give her site the clicks.

A Quiet Interlude

Not much appears to be going on. Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

As Time Passes and We Get Older

I started thinking about how time passes when reading some of the articles about the birthday.  It was interesting to think about it from the different points of view.  Besides, it kind of fits as a follow up the last post (the whole saga of can the two brothers reunite). So there is the requisite article about how he will be getting all kinds of money willed to him from his great-grandmother.  There were stories about Princess Anne as trustee (and not allowing earliest access to it all).  Whether or not any or all of this is true (there was money for him and/or other kids) has been debated with claims she actually died owing money with the Queen paying the debts to avoid scandal.  Don't know but I seem to remember that royal estates are shrouded from the public so we may not (ever) know. However, strange things like assisting in a book after repeated denials have popped up in legal papers so nothing is ever really predicable.   We are also seein...
