Something struck me about the revelations coming out in court that both Harry and Meghan collaborated with Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand indirectly, through Jason Knauf. I think that Meghan and/or Harry also met with or spoke to the authors directly. Not only are there very personal and private details in there that only they would know, such as the yoga pose she performed in Africa, but Finding Freedom has information that no royal staffer would ever, every divulge - such as the exact location of the vault where the Queen's tiaras are kept and the exact layout of the Cambridge's KP apartment.
That revelation put the Cambridges and the crown jewels in danger. Would the twit have gone that far, or was it the twat?

I'm not familiar with US talk shows these days. Which other shows could * have appeared on, apart from Ellen's? Is it a big deal to be one of Ellen's guests?
But I do know that Ellen got into some hot water last year for her terrible treatment of employees. There were a few video analyses of her pathology as well, before the public turned its attention to other things. I'm surprised that she was able to live down the terrible stories and that she still has a show that other celebrities want to be on.
My first reaction to Ellen and * pairing up was that * probably shouldn't be so chummy with someone else who has bullied employees in the past.
I'm also strongly of the belief that anyone who willingly partners with the Harkles is in the same position they are: Coming down after huge successes in the past, finding that everyone they trampled on the way up is ignoring them on the way down, and desperately seeking a way to recover former glory. Fitting this profile are Oprah, Guthy-Renker, and now also Ellen.
They were probably interested for a half of a second and moved on and she leaked that to keep it going or force their hand.

Kelly Clarkson, any of the Today segments, Live with Kelly and Michael, GMA (doesnt she have connections there) and any of the late night shows would have been better. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the story about the mixed-race doll family that her father put together for her was also a total fabrication.

I actually think she can be charming and entertaining. Many narcs can be, which is why those with talent do so well in the performing arts. But she comes across as a narc that has become toxic/malignant and is completely out of control, with her husband as an enabler in a toxic co-dependent relationship. His family must be very worried, but IMO, engaging with them just supports/enables them.

Paul Murray has a good memory! He remembers the statement made during Megxit that the Harkles would give more interviews and exclusives to smaller media outlets. I don't know if the Harkles said that because they believed they were so highly in demand that everyone would be clamoring to cover them . . . or if they were simply telling a lie that they hoped would sound good. Nearly two years later, can anyone name a single low-profile media person whose show or site they helped to boost? On the other hand, they're notorious for getting Oprah to interview them. And now Ellen.
Neil Sean also brought up Ellen's own bullying and general terrible treatment of others. * supposedly dumped a best friend of many years over a social media post and tried to use a disgraced Chrissy Teigen, who was being held to account for her own ugly tweets, as a stepping stone to higher moral ground . . . but now she's chummying up to someone who is arguably worse than the others.
If another awful story about Ellen leaks after the interview airs, how fast do you suppose * will release a statement disavowing her?

Thanks for sharing more snippets from the Ellen appearance. I only watched the one clip - about auditions and her vehicle. I find her voice very annoying so I don't know if I can watch more! However, I do think she can be engaging and charming (just change the voice), but then she sabotages herself in so many ways, over and over again. The lies are the most disturbing to me.
As for liars, they are my biggest bugbear. I simply detest them!!

It's also something that people in media would either naturally remember or logically focus on after someone reminds them of it. What makes it more interesting is that it's a new angle. By now, a blind person in a naturally dark room during a full solar eclipse could point out the inconsistency (not to mention hypocrisy) of claiming to want privacy and then appearing on talk shows that air all over the world. But this broken commitment is one thing she hasn't been held accountable for yet. The fall out will be juicy.
In case anyone is making a list of all the media outlets she has worked with, don't forget the op-ed on her alleged miscarriage in The New York Times. A tiny newspaper no one had ever heard of until she wrote for them.

From what I’ve read and heard, it can still go to trial whether she was charged with perjury or not. 🥴 A civil case obviously doesn’t carry the weight of a criminal case, but of course this whole nasty saga is subjective as she’s caused a massive amount of damage and hurt. It’s most unlikely she’d be charged for the reasons I’ve said before, but the MoS can still get their day in court. 🥴
By admitting that she 'misled the court' because she 'forgot' (actually not taking responsibility and not admitting to telling lies), she has probably avoided perjury charges and even any kind of censure.
But ANL know where her weak spot is and if they can find evidence in her communications ... I think she may be in trouble. But maybe an unexpected source, such as the three others of the Palace four, have more evidence that contradicts what she told the court. Plus, if there is a trial, who, other than Harry who thinks he is untouchable, would lie for her in a court case?

A UK law firm states that 'If your statements are inconsistent because you are lying under oath, the prosecution can accuse you of perjury without identifying which statement is false.' The part I've put in italics is important, I think. Could perjury lead to perverting the course of justice in a civil case? Probably not if it's a single 'omission'. Her 'omission' - forgetting she sent several emails etc is not very believable, though, even taking into account the fact that 'recollections do vary'.

I fully support your suggestion of a token award for damages! I have always maintained that she will win the copyright for technical reasons, but has no grounds to ask for financial damages as the publication of a large part of her letter did not affect her financial status because she was a full-time working senior royal at the time, and the courts do not give royals big payouts because their feelings were hurt. As for the rest of the charges that she threw at ANL, I think she may be on shaky ground, but depends on how much the judges are influenced by the woke and the entitled luvvies, in my opinion.

We all know Euge hates Charles' guts for how much he disliked her train wreck of a mother, and for stopping her bellend of a father's 11th hour attempt to shove her and Bea onto the royal gravy train as "senior working royals". Allying herself with the two traitors was by way of a thinly veiled payback.
With the "Dear Cousins" now revealed as liars who connived at perjury, and a bullying investigation waiting to break over Meghan's many weaves, Euge's taste in associates is clearly a trait inherited along the paternal line.
