Drifting

Not much has changed since the last post.

Spotify?  Nope.  Netflix? Nope but they could just be in the editing phase perhaps.  Political scene?  Nope.  Not a whisper yet.

There, however, is the trial

This is starting to get interesting as it can totally change their long term trajectory look.  They would now more easily maintain their appearances of being VIPs by needing security as the world is a dangerous place for them.

Is it?  Maybe?  Maybe not when you think of all the different adventures they have where they have limited security present or security physically present but not really appearing to be on high alert for the accidental pap/scary dangerous unknown or not at all but it was ever so luckily documented by someone who just happened to be in the area.  Funny how that just keeps happening so unluckily for them.

It is as if they are a boat which has left the marina (BRF), left the pond (intentional pun), and charted themselves out into the big oceans.  Leaving behind the safety of his family, they have been systematically cutting the anchors which tied them back to the family to show their independence.  The family tried to keep them with a safety net in the leaving negotiations.  But no dice rolled by the pair.  Now, they are trying to reattach one of those cut anchors by legally suing for claims of needing protection.

If they win - then it's game on for them to retake what they feel is/was their manifest destiny.

I can see why Oprah wooed them from a very early stage. But I cannot understand Hilary Clinton. I am not a fan of hers, but she has decades of experience in politics, has served at a high level in government, and is not a stupid woman. Her interest in TBW is mystifying. Poor Sarah Latham was dropped into the mess (the link to HC is obvious) when the truth was starting to leak. What I have picked up from the Bower book is that Latham was reduced to tears often. The Queen offering her a job must have been an act of compassion and/or compensation.

@Sandie, it comes as no surprise that the "sorest loser" of all time, lost no opportunity to stir the sh*t here. In fact, when I think about it, her intrusion here is pure destiny and Disney magic! Hillary is utterly utterly toxic and, at heart, just as ruthless as Meghan. Let's not forget Hillary chose to stay married to a world class liar and philanderer and smeared and blackballed Lewinsky, which was anything but "gutsy," right?

Jessica Mulroney just shaded Megsbaby on Instagram. She showed a picture of some golf player I guess who got hustled and Meghan Markled too while she was messing around with Corey. So now Prince Hapless knows this too. Gets what he deserves, hee hee.

Knives out. Harry's memoir will be too little too late after all the tea gets spilled with Bower's book. The tide is turning, truth is being revealed, and it looks like the firm played the right long ball game: give these fools enough rope and let them hang themselves on their own lies and transparent and childish waffle waffle crocodile roast chicken games.

I am not posting the text as what Bower actually wrote will be in the Times.

Her behaviour has always been awful. How could he have fallen completely in love with this person? Why did people put up with this nonsense? How can he live with her?
Well, well, back in '19, my first thought about *'s enablers/supporters/backers were American (and other) globalists thinking it was time the British Constitution was overturned - 400 years was long enough from 1620 and Mayflower - but other Nutties didn't think much of that idea IIRC. I was certainly suspicious of * expressing her views on our relationship with our European neighbours. Was she parroting other peoples' views? had she been told to say it?

So thoughts went to other nations with anti-west agenda but it all seems to be coming back to the US.

BTW, the British Constitution is written down but not in one single document. It is enshrined within the total corpus of our laws, ie in different places.

At the very least,* was a `useful idiot'.

I like that the book gives the truth behind the PR. It "shines a light" on M scheming and H complicity. The excerpts are satisfying reads. In each one, M us worse than I thought - what a brazen hussy. I look forward to reading the chapters around Archie's birth. I hope he " sheds some light" onto where and how they live too - are they in the same place, same or separate rooms, what's up with the anal/fecal urban dictionary references. @KnitWit,

At the time of the engagement, I swallowed the PR story about their first flying date and how they were so in love, yada yada. And American divorcee actress was not going to integrate easily into the royal family, but we really had no clue at that point what an awful person, a mental head case, Harry’s choice really was. It really hadn’t surprised me that she was in show business, because harry and William too know lots of ShowBusiness types. Cressida Bonas is an actress, And so is Sophie Winkleman who married in. I was happy that Harry had finally found someone… But the wheels came off that PR spin pretty quickly. When she was photographed in her first appearance with the royal family at Christmas that year sticking her tongue out like a toddler, I said what is going on here? That was just after the very stilted and bizarre engagement interview. She was fake and nervous and annoying, but I talked that up to the pressure of the situation. To go from a two bit cable show in Canada to a considerably larger role in the British royal family literally overnight was a big adjustment. But little did we know at the time that she had revealed her true colors already, and the PR train was already spinning spinning spinning. I watched the Freakshow of a wedding where she seriously creeped me out with her psychotic eyes and her unmovable Cheshire cat grin. All that drama about her dad, who is then languishing in the hospital, not that his daughter gave a shit. After that she seemed to be off to a decent start in her new role, but I don’t need much later did we learned that she’d already been bullying royal staff for months and got a couple tossed out of her very first appearance as the Duchess of Sussex for being a disaster.

Finally, four years after the fact, her bullshit posing is being blown away. For sometime now I have believed that Harry is either bisexual or entirely gay, and she is his beard, who helped him through her contacts at Soho House to get the kinds of alternative sexual experiences he craves, and I don’t actually think that many or any of those involve her. After getting embroiled with those people, they coerced him into a marriage with her through blackmail, I believe, threatening to make the extent of his sexual proclivities and other activities which may not be entirely legal public knowledge, not only making sure that his grandparents knew about it but publishing pictures releasing audio recordings, etc. Once in, Harry decided to go all in and trash his family on his way to being the Superstar Prince in America she’s promised as her end of the deal. With no other mitigating influences on him from people that actually care about him and don’t want to see him Completely destroy himself, he’s just gotten worse and worse over time. I think Mr. Bowers book is going to strain the sham marriage to the breaking point. Look for a divorce announcement by the fall, and strap in for a Johnny Depp/amber heard sized spectacle in court.

Bower's book is #1 at Amazon UK, across all categories, not just 'royal biographies,' etc.

@Sandie, I was surprised that Bower is a royalist as well, as his book on Charles is said to be unflattering. My guess is, he likes the queen, & as someone whose family fled Europe in 1939, appreciates the stability having a monarch to rally around brings a nation. His wife is quite accomplished & well connected. She's a former editor of the Evening Standard & a former deputy editor of the Telegraph. Her family includes military officers, a former governor of Hong Kong, & a baronet. So, Bower is likely not a knee-jerk reverse snob. I doubt Bower is going to get into much that is wildly lurid. This is death by a thousand cuts. I thought all of the stories about Ms.6's treatment of employees, etc., were just gossip, but Bower says all of his information is attributed, so people really spoke to him on the record, in spite of the 6s proven litigiousness.

She's just as awful as people have intimated. She made a marriage which was wildly unsuitable for both parties so she could get the attention & fame she's always craved. She & Mr. 6 are only united by their resentment & jealousy of others. So sad. If the children do exist, I hope they have someone in their lives who can give them love & stability. Sometimes awful parents have nice children. It does happen.
Sadly, I don’t think Bower will say anything about the surrogacy issue in his book because there is no way for him to have accessed whatever documentation exists to prove it. And the surrogate(s?) would never have agreed to cooperate with him even if he knew who they were.

@Wild Boar

Like you, I thought - and was hoping - that *'s interview with VF would spell the end of the romance, but sadly it didn't. I do remember when one of Charles's girlfriend (I forgot it was Lady Sarah Spencer) spoke to the press: the relationship was swiftly terminated. And * had the gall to feel victimised.

----------
@Observant One, @Sandie

Not sure why Hillary Clinton wanted to meet TBW. Are we to believe she schlepped all the way to Frog Cott? Headlines mention they 'reportedly' met after being invited by *. And HC even 'got to hold him and snuggled him'. I can imagine * using her new found 'friendship' with HC but I can't see the benefit for HC.

Finally, there have been references to some words which had another meaning in the urban dictionary, namely crocodile (Archie's first word, allegedly), waffles - remember Archie wanted a waffle maker for Christmas - and roast chicken. Apologies if this has been previously mentioned but I wondered if hydrate - another favourite of Archie's - had another meaning. You've guessed it, it has. Actually not very difficult to imagine.

The general public will now know what phony train wrecks Twit and Twat are.

Twat will divorce Twit if she believes he has ruined her "reputation." She'll ghost him like she's done everyone else in her life, and will internally/externally blame him for her bad press.

I wonder if Twit has any friends left anywhere because he's going to need a huge amount of support when Twat turns her wrath on him full blast.

I do hope that late night comedians will be making public fun of the Dollars, based on what's going to be revealed.

Maybe * initiated contact with HRC, through Harry’s friend, Michelle Obama. We know she thought she had the golden ticket to the world and everyone would be falling at her feet. She sees herself as a feminist/activist, and HRC is likely one of her role models. Or, the globalists came to her, willing to use her in any way possible to get to the Royal Family.

I think this book could make them both look more delusional and disturbed than any of us thought.

Let's see if I can share the article. I love that he flew commercial to a friends wedding and she took a friends private jet.

Soon after Harry and Meghan’s relationship was revealed, Harry invited Meghan to join his weekend shoot at Sandringham. With the Queen’s permission he had invited 16 friends to arrive for dinner on Friday night, shoot on Saturday and leave after lunch on Sunday. Most of the guests were old friends from Eton with their wives or girlfriends. All of them were employed by international banks and auction houses or were estate owners and racehorse trainers. All were bonded by common assumptions, principles and loyalties.
Like other shooting weekends, Harry was looking forward to endless banter, jokes — and a lot of drinking. He had not anticipated Meghan’s reaction. Their jokes involving sexism, feminism and transgender people ricocheted around the living-rooms and dining-rooms. Without hesitation, Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values. According to some of Harry’s friends, again and again she reprimanded them about the slightest inappropriate nuance. Nobody was exempt. Harry’s world would not be her world.
Beyond Harry’s hearing, some friends questioned Meghan’s “wokery”. Meghan was a dampener on the party, they concluded. She lacked any sense of humour. Driving home after Sunday lunch, the texts pinged between the cars: “OMG what about HER?” said one; “Harry must be f***ing nuts.”

Posting from my phone, here is part 2

A seminal moment occurred during the couple’s trip to Jamaica in March 2017 to celebrate the marriage of Tom “Skippy” Inskip, Harry’s Etonian friend who had been present in Las Vegas during Harry’s nude romp. Harry flew premium economy from London; Meghan arrived from Toronto in a friend’s private jet.
About 40 guests, including Harry’s oldest friends, gathered for the three-day party at the Round Hill Hotel in Montego Bay. Some of the parents in attendance fondly remembered giving Harry cottage pie and comfort during his teenage years. The close-knit group keenly anticipated meeting Meghan. They were quickly disappointed. Not only did she quibble about the food, but behaved “princessy”, refusing to engage with Harry’s friends, some said. “She wasn’t interested in us,” said one mother.
Since this was the first important event Meghan and Harry had appeared at together, there was certain to be media interest. Secluded in the resort’s most isolated villa, Harry spotted a photographer in the bushes. He became incandescent.
Harry’s friends were puzzled by his violent outburst considering the frequency of similar previous incidents in his life. Their suspicion of Meghan increased; the sentiment was mutual. Meghan disliked Inskip and his crowd. Their jokes and their attitude towards the world seemed unacceptable to her.

Part 3:
The actress, the ad campaign and a fraught shoot
Among Hollywood’s players, Lori Sale is a feisty, fast-speaking well-known agent, famous for securing marketing and branding contracts for her clients. In early 2015, Rick Genow, a Hollywood entertainment lawyer, contacted Sale. The lawyer explained that he represented Meghan Markle, the actress and host of The Tig lifestyle blog. Could Sale, he asked, secure a brand contract for his client, who was based in Toronto?
Sale had never heard of Meghan or Suits, but concluded that even an ensemble actor on a cable show who was a minor celebrity could be placed. After meeting the actress, Sale pitched her new client to Jeannie Vondjidis-Miller, the head of marketing of Reitmans, Canada’s largest women’s clothing retailer. The 90-year-old business offered inexpensive clothes through its 700 stores to an ageing and declining clientele. Sale negotiated a two-year contract to start in June 2015.
No serious Hollywood star, Meghan must have thought, would associate herself with Reitmans, a brand whose clothes cost under C$100 (£60). She longed to be the face of Ralph Lauren, not Reitmans. At least no one outside Canada would see the campaign.
Hard graft had secured an advance in Meghan’s career, nonetheless. The down-side was that every small success was accompanied by disappointment on the bigger stage. Hollywood repeatedly rejected her.

Part 4: I'll refrain from sharing any more articles until I am back at my computer, but finishing what I started...

During a trip to London she went to a small meeting addressed by Emma Watson, her hero and role model. At the end, she asked to meet Watson. The actress rejected the request. The snub was mortifying. Watson’s rebuff was not mentioned when Meghan described her UN role in The Tig. “I was in London,” she wrote to her followers, “to support Emma Watson in her HeForShe Initiative for UN Women.”
On March 13, 2016, Meghan flew into Montreal for her second Reitmans shoot. As she entered the location — an old restaurant — for the day’s filming, the tension was uncomfortable.
Jeannie Vondjidis-Miller described Meghan as the “National Spokesperson” for Reitmans. “We wanted someone with a point of view,” she said. Very soon, many of the creative team associated with the campaign were exhausted by Meghan’s point of view.
The 35-second commercial was called “The Label”. Meghan, the creative directors employed by the Tank agency and John Grammatico, the film director, disagreed about the “concept” that ended with Meghan delivering the tag-line “Reitmans... Really”.
“Seriously, this doesn’t make sense!” Meghan exclaimed about the storyboard. “I’m a brash American and if my name is going to be on something, I’m going to have my say.”
Tank’s account manager, Emmanuelle Thaon, and creative director Sophie Gaudet were reluctant to make changes. In their opinion, Meghan offered no worthwhile alternative ideas, other than suggesting that a Caribbean location with a Hollywood budget would be better.
On March 14 the arguments reached their climax. After ferocious exchanges a few script changes were made, only to be rejected by Meghan again. “She bulldozed her way through,” complained one of the team. No one stood up to her.
KnitWit said…
Part 5:

That evening, Grammatico emailed Tank’s creative director. Meghan, Grammatico suggested, was not completely wrong. The agency was focusing the commercial on Reitmans’ label and the dress. Like all stars, Meghan wanted the focus to be on herself. “She needs to be flattered,” he wrote, “and she’s right. Celebrities want to be the hero.”
The solution was to “put Meghan in charge, because she’s beautiful and famous and she’s in control”. The script was rewritten by Grammatico.
One year after the first campaign, Meghan was less enamoured that her “brand” was attached to Reitmans. Not only was she associated with a downmarket label, but their new clothes were decidedly unappealing. In addition, her sense of entitlement had grown. Unhappy that her executive suite for C$1,531 per night at the Place d’Armes hotel in Montreal was only a master bedroom, living-room and powder-room, Meghan demanded that the agency reserve a bigger suite at the more expensive Gault hotel. “She insists,” said her agent. The production team resisted. “She wants photographs of the hotel rooms and the rooms assigned to her on the set,” said her agent.
Next, Meghan demanded that she be registered in the hotel under an alias, Jane Smith. “Her identity must be kept secret,” said her agent, Lori Sale. “Meghan doesn’t want to be hassled by the hotel staff, other guests or photographers.” The production team were flummoxed. No one in French-speaking Montreal really knew Meghan. In the event, the hotel refused the request. No paparazzi gathered outside the hotel.
Inside the hotel room, ignoring the flower displays, bottles of her favourite wine and even a special calligraphy pen carefully laid out on the tables, she criticised the hotel’s Tempurpedic bathrobe and slippers. She wanted Dior. The tea was the wrong blend and the vegan green juice was warm.
“The Princess is coming,” sniggered one assistant as, hard-faced, Meghan arrived on set, avoiding eye contact with the crew. She disappeared upstairs to her dressing-room.
KnitWit said…
Part 6, the end:

Two hours had been allocated for completing her hair and make-up and, at her last-minute request, to paint her nails. Animatedly during that session, Meghan talked about life with Felix, her trusted hairdresser. The manicurist, a woman in her late thirties, joined the conversation. There was silence as her nails were finished. The manicurist left.
Throughout the day Meghan appeared for her shots escorted by her entourage — Felix the hairdresser and Marco the make-up artist — and then returned to her room. Both were ordered never to leave her side. “She was always fed up,” one crew member noted, “sighing, huffing and rolling her eyes at things. It was heavy-going working with her.” Another claimed that she would be “super sweet” with Felix and Marco and then within seconds turn to the crew and be “super-disagreeable”.
No one dared to contradict Meghan. Keeping their jobs depended on satisfying her demands. The only consolation was Meghan’s actual performance. In front of the lens she transformed herself into a warm, glamorous icon.
The following day, the mood deteriorated. To satisfy another of Meghan’s demands, the wardrobe staff had bought a pair of expensive Aquazzura beige suede shoes chosen by her. From her dressing-room, Meghan was heard complaining about the production, the clothes, the style and the script. In retaliation, members of the team began to speak in French.
During the filming, Meghan was asked: “What Canadian woman inspires you?” She laughed and asked for examples. “None of them inspires me,” she replied. “You can’t make me say something I don’t want to or don’t believe in.”
“It’s a wrap,” shouted the assistant at exactly 7pm. Meghan’s agent had already called to warn that her client would not film one extra minute. There was none of the customary “Thank you” or “See you again”. Meghan departed. To the surprise of the wardrobe staff she forgot to leave behind the Aquazzura shoes.
“She is definitely the meanest person I’ve ever met. Just saying,” Jean Malek, the third director, posted on Facebook.
In the post-production of the advertisements Meghan sent countless demands about changes to the colour of her lipstick and her waistline. One request regarding a photograph of her sitting down with open sandals generated particular mirth: “Please fix my feet for me — I get slaughtered online for [sic] people picking apart my feet, sadly. There’s a scar on my left foot + my right foot isn’t the prettiest (long toe etc) ...”
Once the dust settled, however, Reitmans were satisfied. The commercials were credited with increasing their sales by over 20 per cent. Forgetting her anger, Meghan spoke about the TV advert and the billboards with her face across Canada as life-changing. “It’s a huge moment,” she said.

I've now heard this a couple of times -- that Liar took jewelry when she left the UK -- and I never see a good source. Does anyone have a good source or know what this poster is referring to? The only thing I can think of are the chandelier earrings from the Saudi Crown Prince MBS. Apparently although he gave them to her personally, they're considered property of the Crown, and I assume, would have to be kept in a vault somewhere in the UK. If she has anything from Diana, it's because Friar gave them to her. She didn't really "take" them.

Oh my gracious. That deafening silence from all of the people that have worked with her, been her neighbor, or gone to school with her is interesting. That they are NOT telling everybody what a wonderful, nurturing, gracious woman or mentor she is/was indicates that they must have all had mommas that sternly said "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all, dear. It isn't ladylike (or gentlemanly)."

She is apparently under the impression that one must be arrogant and bitchy to impress upon the 'lesser' people how important they are. Nope. It just means that they are arrogant and bitchy.

Pt2:
The obstetrician who helped deliver Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's second child Lilibet has shut her practice with little notice, telling patients she needs to 'focus on my own health and be with my family'.
Dr Melissa Drake made the announcement on Instagram, where she said it had been 'the honor of my life to work with the women of Santa Barbara' before announcing a 'leave of absence' starting on June 30.
She said patients procedures or surgeries planned before June 30 would go ahead but warned pregnant women with appointments after the date would need to transfer care to a different practice.
Dr Drake, who is married fertility doctor and has four step kids, oversaw the birth of Queen Elizabeth's 12th great-grandchild Lilibet at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on June 4, 2021.
Expectant mothers in the wealthy region were taken by surprise over the sudden closure, with one branding the news 'shocking and handled terribly'.
'Now there are hundreds of women (myself included) running around trying to find care,' she wrote on the Santa Barbara Moms Facebook group.
Another said she was 'devastated' by the news and that she knew at least ten other local women looking for a new practitioner.

Dr Drake wrote on Instagram: 'It has been the honor of my life to work with the women of Santa Barbara. I am taking a leave of absence to focus on my own health and be with my family.
'It is important that you continue with appropriate medical care; therefore you should establish contact with another physician/midwife as soon as possible.
'Thank you for allowing me to be part of the most personal, profound, and important days of your lives. Much love always.'
Dr Drake made the announcement on May 13 saying the practice would close from June 30.
Kay de Veer Ulanch, whose twins' birth was overseen by Dr Drake, told Santa Barbara Independent the doctor was a 'unicorn' and described the closure of the practice as 'a travesty'.
'She puts you in charge,' she said. 'You lead your birth experience. That's a big deal, and it's not common.
'I know that sounds dramatic, but she's done so much good to so many families. When you're having a child, you want the best, and she's the best.
'I hope we figure out what's going on, and I hope she comes back.'

Other patients said they were 'pretty devastated' by the news with Santa Barbara resident Jorden Hirsch saying it was a 'real loss for the community'.
Katherine Mueller said Dr Drake 'always made her patients feel comfortable, in control, and always gave them the right to say no.'
Dr Drake refused to give more information on her decision to close the clinic to the Santa Barbara Independent but said in a statement: 'One of my most important guiding principles is patient autonomy and giving power back to women.
'OB/GYN care represents an inflection point in peoples' lives. People who feel disempowered and disrespected during their birth experience carry that with them forever.
'It impacts not only the way they feel as parents, but also impacts their future interactions with healthcare.'
She added: 'Ask any woman about their medical experience, and you will hear a lot about soft pressure.
'I try to let patients know that even if they are making a decision that I don't agree with, I will try to support them as best I can, within my ability to do so.'
Dr Drake declined to comment on why some patients call her a union, but said high praise for her was because 'it is very labor intensive.'
'The healthcare system is not set up to reimburse providers for this kind of work… But we deserve this kind of care. We all do.

@Hikari, I had similar thoughts at the engagement. I am an American and not a royal follower until lately. At first I wished them well. I assumed she was a party girl since H likes to party. Being an actress, she may be comfortable with the press and cameras. I was wrong.

I don't think there is any conspiracy afoot ( could be wrong again). I think the Suckatits fell in with a bunch of opportunists. M's CA PR people want their cut. Companies want the attention of a royal on staff or at least on camera. Opportunists want access to royal and celebrity circles. H&M have less access than before, but probably have more access than Russian oligarchs. Perhaps, shady types are willing to have H in their debt because Daddy will probably pay up to avoid bad publicity. All conjecture on my part.

If M is shopping for real estate in Beverly Hills, she is moving/renting to be near her next target.

Wonder what is next! Scobie is out if his league with Bowers.

Thank you for the link re the shooting weekend etc. I knew * had modelled for Reitmans but didn't know the story. Her diva demands and tantrums are absolutely unbelievable! She is so rude and ungracious, it's hard to imagine. I like the bit where she wanted to register at the hotel under an alias so as to be anonymous and not be hassled by, among others, photographers. In the end 'No paparazzi gathered outside the hotel.' I also like the fact that 'In retaliation, members of the team began to speak in French.' But... TBW speaks fluent French, doesn't she??
I wonder if she'll sue for libel?

And who gives goodie bags at a shooting party?

'She lacked any sense of humour.' To be fair, American and British sense of humour are different but in any case, * was very, very different from H and his friends. She had absolutely nothing in common with them. Even Kate, British born and bred, upper middle class and privately educated had a hard time in the beginning with William's friends. His social set were slow to accept her. His friends would say 'doors to manual' in her presence (in reference to Carole Middleton's former job as an air stewardess). I wonder what they had to say about *...

The wedding: she was snooty with everyone. People tried to be friendly but she was arrogant and dismissive. I wonder what was up with her? Covering up feelings of inadequacy (she just did not fit into his life)? She also complained about the food. She had this delusion that she was a foodie and seemed to think that being rude was appropriate.

She was invited to the wedding as his plus one. Who supplied her with the private plane is a mystery.

No one asked her to leave. But, he had a complete inappropriate melt down when he saw paps hiding in the bushes. His friends thought it was uncharacteristic of him. (I think she gained control of him by riling him up, sniffing out and enabling all his weaknesses and faults.)

Remember the photos from the wedding? He got very drunk. He also looked very miserable. She glared arrogantly at anyone who came to talk to him. Remember she also led him onto the balcony and got him locked into a passionate kiss, knowing the paps were there.

No, I do not believe it. $10 million for a book on parenting? Just completely unrealistic. I wonder if this is not a rumour planted by the duo to 'conflate their worth'.
------------------
I did some work with Random House earlier this year and had the opportunity to read the publishing contract. $40 million for 4 books, allocated at $10m per book. The subject of each book was specified, and they are to be published in a specific order. 1: Harry's memoir part 1, to cover his childhood up to the time he met Meghan; 2: Meghan's memoir, using the same ghostwriter, focusing on her brave determination to escape the racist, paternalistic, imperialistic monarchy; 3: (sit down for this) a joint book by H and M about parenting tips, including anecdotes from their childhood and about their own children; and 4: Harry's memoir part 2, to cover Meghan's entrance up to the current time. There are no deadlines for production of any of the manuscripts, but the $$$ is payable based on different aspects of performance.

I would bet M (eaghan) hired the unauthorized photograher(s) to sneak around inskip's wedding area in order to get money shots of her with her prey Hairy, example being the "romantic" clinch she so conveniently arranged on the balcony, and the paps skulking around in the bushes which made Hairy have an over-the-top meltdown so explosive it surprised even his friends.

As we have read over the years, Hairy and Scary were no longer even going out together by the time of Inskip's wedding, so although she had originally been invited to be his plus-one for the weekend, any normal person with normal social skills would've realized she was no longer invited. We have read that the wedding weekend attendees were shocked that she boldly showed up where not wanted or expected. Thats why i suspect that she herself hired the sneaky photographer(s) in order to get enough shots of her in intimate proximity to Hairy that the world would be convinced they were still a couple. Then she could force Hairy to also be convinced they were a couple.

I wish whoever the pap or paps were, they would state straight out who hired them, and what instructions were given and by whom to let them know where to get such clear and indicative photos of the two.

I am in shock over the book deal, especially the book on parenting. It all depends how the first book goes...

Nothing on Spotisfy. I think she should have done an updated version of " the tig". Just do little podcasts on avacado toast, eggs from the chickens, a few yoga poses, general pretentious lifestyle chat. It would have more appeal than woke posturing and lecturing.

H&M come up with a name, file trademarks, then do nothing.

They could have had a much easier more luxurious life.

Thank you for the story about the book deal. I read in a comment on the DM, I think, that the reason he publication of H's book is delayed is because he wants to wait for Tom Bower's book to be out and then set the record straight, as it were (with wifey 's help, obviously). Not impossible, me thinks.
I do recall mention of the 4 book deal.

Whatever the truth of that may be, I bet she's already run to the lawyers with the intention of suing TB.

I believe there is/was a 4-book deal signed, as that was the information put out in the media.. I do not believe they are contracted to be paid $10 million per book.

The media reported that The Bench was one of the four books. His memoir would be in two parts. And there was a wellness book from her. (There was also a story about a book about philanthropy.) I reckon the publisher is having buyer's remorse! Like her podcast, they probably keep coming up with new ideas and changing their minds, butdeliver nothing except The Bench.
-------------
@Maneki Neko
I agree that she will want to 'set the record straight' and that may well be a reason for the delay on his end (even though he reportedly handed in the complete manuscript months and months ago). My guess is that the publisher, unless they are idiots in wokeland, are pulling their hair out. If the book is at a late stage, any changes will delay things further and even mess up completely whatever manuscript they do have.

PS If his memoirs was going to be in two parts, they might have abandoned the hope to get two books out of him. Although, I do not put it past her to be rewriting the first half of a memoir that only covers his life before he met her! And to be doing so to counter the Bower book (which they are pretending is not happening), even though that makes no sense.

Sandie said…
Nope, it is a large auditorium, which is almost empty. The few people that are there are looking at their phones when he is talking.

From the snippets of his speech, he just did not understand the memo.
That was extraordinary - had I not known the backstory with which we are all familiar, I would have been seriously impressed by Harry's address - and had the sound not suddenly gone haywire as he spoke. There was major feedback and lack of synchronisation. The words came over before his lips moved, followed by a repeat with an echo - my eardrums are still ringing.

I hurts me to say this but it was a performance revealing what an asset he could have been to the Royal Family, had things turned out differently. He spoke well with a clear, pleasant voice, fluently, expressively, even eloquently, and apparently without notes or prompt, as if he'd been doing it for years.

The speech itself was well-written, very professional. The only hint of * was a reference to his heart `pumping with hope'. He got the personal bits over and done with swiftly, concisely and in proportion to the rest of it. I find it hard to believe his words were written by anyone except a reliable, articulate professional speech writer.

I've known 2 people who have written speeches for VIPs - a Head of English at a top -rate London grammar school (when there were such things) who wrote for a US presidential candidate and a friend who wrote for Prince Charles - the first was probably an Oxbridge graduate, the second most certainly is. Their polished verbal style makes Markle's utterances that we have read and heard make one want to reach for the red pencil and write `See me' at the bottom of the script.

It's bizarre - even allowing for the script being someone else's work, his delivery couldn't be faulted , no um's or ers, no fidgeting, he presented himself well, erect, head up and didn't let his voice drop at the end of the sentence. He must have put in a heck of a lot of rehearsal.

Frankly, I'm staggered - has he been on the Road to Damascus? Had a Divine revelation?

Strangely, the audio problems ceased the instant the presiding Chairman spoke. Had someone been trying to sabotage him?

I'm completely non-plussed - and my ears still hurt!
Ho most certainly shouldn't have mentioned Roe v Wade, though, in my view. It's an internal US affair and many of the delegate (not that the hall was full, far from it) represented countries with populations with very different views from *.

I wonder if * will claim the speech as All Her Own Work, as pavement artists used to write in their images, or on notices beside the hat?

Him having a meltdown when he spotted the paps hiding in the bushes was in the Bower book. I assume no one asked her or them to leave because Bower writes about his friends and their parents at the wedding tried to 'chat' but she was not interested. We saw from the photos that they were sitting at a table alone, away from others and she did not look happy (snooty and arrogant) when friends came over to chat to him. A series of photographs were taken of them kissing passionately on the balcony of their room.

The speech had nothing to do with what Mandela day is about. In South Africa, this year the focus is on food security (donate food to the needy, help plant a vegetable garden ...). Climate change is a also a theme but not been emphasized in South Africa. Volunteerism is a part of Mandela Day (find an organization where you can help out as a volunteer, or just help out a neighbour if that is all you can do). South Africa is going through a very rough patch politically and economically, but even the president was upbeat and reminded the country of what Mandela endured and achieved, so we should be inspired and believe we can do the impossible.

Harry gave a political campaign speech for his wife.

I haven't listened to the speech but thanks for your input WBBM. Maybe he has had some professional coaching. From my knowledge, the only Royals that wisely sought professional coaching were Diana (post separation) and Catherine.
All I can think is that it was a major effort to try and show he's fit to return.

I listened, as best I could, to the whole lot. He seemed reasonably on target to me, sober and sincere . Snarky - did actually you watch it? He said very little that resembled your version, contrary to my expectations.I must have logged on to something completely different...

Did any other viewers get the distorted sound?

For me, it underlined the tragedy of the whole business - even if he can perform adequately now, when he puts his mind to it, it's too late, I doubt if anyone trusts hm. Has he ever given a moments thought to the cruelty he's of his treatment of his family, the damage that he's done a nation that wished him nothing but well?

They'll need more that that to let you come back to the UK. They know never to trust a liar, especially one in thrall to malevolent forces.

We expect genuine repentance even if you have to walk barefoot, in a hair shirt, from one end of the Kingdom to the other.

I hadn't known this. Well, there we have it: the link that makes HazMat the most fitting person to deliver an address honoring Mr. Mandela, the civil rights icon whose birthday is shared by the father-in-law Harry has never met.

***completely O/T to Sussexes but relevant to shared birthdays--Does anyone here watch the TV series "Shetland"? I just learned that lead Douglas Henshall who plays DI Jimmy Perez and Mark Bonnar who plays Duncan share THE SAME BIRTHDAY--same year and all--November 19, 1965. And then they wind up filming a TV show together these last 7 years. What are the chances?

Indeed, what were the chances that HazMat would marry a woman who shared the birthday of his great-grandmother the Queen Mum? Freaky.***

Back on track now . .

WBBM,

I didn't hear Twit's latest venture in public speaking but formerly, I used to think his speaking voice was good. Nowadays it sets me on edge because every time his mouth is moving I can only think about how much I want to punch his face. I tend to be surprised every time William or Harry speaks at how deep their voices are . . probably because I've been watching them grow up from tiny boys. Twit has a posh voice which served to disguise for many years just how stupid he is. He at least *sounded* intelligent. The cat's out of the bag now, Twit. But if he sounded coherent today, well, geez . . is he finally on some medication regiment that's helping him even out? If he is able to deliver a speech well, perhaps reports of his low reading/retention skills have been overinflated. Maybe his difficulties are more related to constantly being drunk/high rather than anything more organic.

It goes to show that H is capable of functioning to a decent level and making a contribution if he is steered by a good team whose advice he is willing to take. For somebody who said his concern was having his grandmother surrounded by 'the right people', he hasn't had any of those around himself for many years now.

She looked less awful than usual. I think she should change her hair. It helped Di's PR. She can go woke with tamed natural curls. Her stans would eat it up. Ditching the straighteners and wigs would be good for the environment too. Few people look good with hair pulled back severely. Audrey Hepburn comes to mind. I also recognise how infuriating it is when politicians of other countries air their views on internal matters in one's country - we didn't take kindly to a former POTUS doing it to us a few years ago.

I thought it was time I checked out again the causes of the American War of Independence and started with this site:

https://www.historydiscussion.net/wars/top-12-causes-of-the-american-war-of-independence/1879

re the first uncaptioned illustration:

I daresay you're all familiar with this painting of British redcoats battling away in a town square, with terrified civilians trying to get away, the dead officer and the gilded statue of George III just visible through the smoke.

Evidence of British brutality against American colonists? Sorry, it's not! It may be by an American painter - but it's thoroughly British, painted in 1783, & is in the Tate:

https://www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/copley-the-death-of-major-peirson-6-january-1781-n00733

Note the dates -2 years before the Boston Tea Party...

Look at the building on the left - does it look Colonial to you? No? That's because it's not. It's almost in France and shows French influence, as do many building in the Channel Islands. This engagement took place in St Helier, the main town on Jersey, a fragment of Norman land which opted for loyalty to the British Crown way back in the reign of King John (13th century). It in Royal Square, aka Peirson Place and I was there just 5 years ago.

It can certainly be argued that it's a propagandist piece, just not in the context of US history - they're fighting off a French incursion.
Correction: I gave he wrong date for the Boston Tea Party - it happened at the end of 1773, by which time the painting was probably finished, having presumably been sometime in the making since the event itself.

My apologies.

I do object to the MSNBC comments about about the RF being a `figurehead of colonialism'. It was true once but now we believe in self-determination - our former colonies are free to go if they wish. The Commonwealth is not the Empire - it has members which were never part of the Empire.

Wild Boar,

If you want the American Experience in a nutshell, watch the HBO miniseries “John Adams”. Based on the biography by David McCullough of our second President, It is an excellent summation of why America separated from England, But also of the ties that bind our two countries which meant that we immediately went about restoring diplomatic relations. Paul Giamatti stars as John Adams, and Laura Linney is Abigail Adams. They are surrounded by a mostly British cast playing various founding fathers. Tom Wilkinson, who is as fluent an American as he is British, plays Benjamin Franklin, inventor and elder statesman of the Continental Congress. What not even many Americans school children are taught is that Mr. Adams, the barrister, successfully defended the British soldiers involved in the so-called Boston Massacre, When British guardsmen, most of whom were barely more than boys, we’re set upon By a mob Of towns people hurling rocks and oyster shells at them. In the ensuing Melee, Fire was opened on both sides resulting in a number of casualties. John Adams argued so persuasively that he managed to get all of the British soldiers acquitted by the Boston jury. Now that took some skill. For his effort, Adams received a commendation from King George, who wanted to give him some very important position In the colonial government. Adams was a Laurel Tory at the time And was leaning toward accepting, until… Events transpired. In this country, John Adams is little thought of today— His single term as our second president was not a success, seeing as he had to follow directly in the boots of George Washington, an unenviable task for anyone. The first half of the series deals with his role in the move for our independence, And it’s very likely without him, we might still be British subjects today. He led the Massachusetts delegation to the Congress and I dare say Almost single-handedly convinced that body to issue their declaration for a war of separation from England. He did not write that document himself realizing that it needed another author who could be more inspirational in his prose, And it was Adams who tapped Thomas Jefferson to do the task. The two men had only just met at the time, but would go on to become the greatest of friends, bitter enemies and back to friends again in the course of their lives, Ultimately both dying on the same day within hours of one another, on July 4, 1826, The 50th anniversary of their joint project. Jefferson is portrayed by Game of Thrones’ Stephen Dillane, and Tom Hollander appears in one rather droll and touching seen as King George III, receiving John Adams as America’s first ambassador to the Court of St. James.

Meghan row explodes: Journalist at centre of book claim hits out - ‘She’s extraordinary'

MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry's biographer has leapt to the defence of the Duchess of Sussex after she was accused of "manipulating" a magazine editor.

By REBECCA PERRING

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s biographer, Omid Scobie, pointed to a letter by Vanity Fair editor Sam Kashner where he described Meghan Markle as an “extraordinary woman” in response to claims in new book ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors’ by investigative journalist Tom Bower. Mr Kashner accused Mr Bower of not conveying his “admiration and respect for Meghan” whom he described as “exceptionally warm and gracious”.

It comes after Mr Bower claimed Mr Kashner had accused the Duchess of “manipulating” the media during an interview in 2017, a few months before her wedding to Prince Harry, in his explosive book.

Mr Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom, took to Twitter to hit back at the claims.

He posted: “Telling the truth. Buried deep within the letters section of today's @thetimes is a note from journalist Sam Kashner, who denies biographer Tom Bower's negative account of his experience interviewing Meghan Markle for Vanity Fair in 2017."

In a letter entitled ‘My interview with Meghan Markle’ to The Times, Mr Kashner paid tribute to Meghan and Prince Harry calling the pair a “love match” and urged critics to let them “live their life in peace”.

The letter said: “Sir, I’m afraid Tom Bower didn’t convey my admiration and respect for Meghan Markle in the excerpt from his new book in The Times on Saturday.

“I found Ms Markle to be exceptionally warm and gracious and admitted her intelligence and her remarkable courage, as I still do.

“I regretted the oft-published account of challenging Proctor & Gamble being edited out of my Vanity Fair article , because I’d wanted to highlight her lifelong activism. The piece itself was quite laudatory.

This is quite extraordinary! Have the duo managed to shut down the book before it is even published? Them, Scobie and the SussexSquad Myst be partying right now. The duchess cannot tolerate not getting what she wants and she is ruthless. I think a lot of water still has to flow beneath the bridge, and a lot more people need to be conned and hurt, before she is defeated.

Because I couldn't believe my eyes when I read WBBM & Sandie's comments about 6's speech. I actually watched it, because I respect WBBM & Sandie's perceptiveness. True he didn't sound like the complete loon he normally seems to be, & he didn't make a complete hash of his allusions to Nelson Mandela's inspiring life, but the rest of it was just boilerplate far left wing of the Democratic party stuff. Democracy is in danger, the planet is on fire, women will die, yadda, yadda, yadda, plus shoutouts for his own pet projects like Sentabale. Lots of complaints, no sensible solutions. Like many demagogues, he managed to be emotionally convincing; I think because he was channeling his inner rage, which he's been telling everyone about ad nauseam lately. Angry, preachy Mr. 6., yawn. I thought it was insulting to Mandela that this man was chosen to speak about Mandela. Mandela actually suffered decades of persecution, & managed to transcend it. He became a greater man, not a lesser one. What has Harry suffered in comparison, aside from the loss of his sainted mother, who must be mentioned in every public appearance? Let the poor woman rest in peace.

@Snarkyathebest, Nice catch to notice Ms. 6's black & white cosplay of Catherine's Top Gun dress. I thought she looked fairly nice in it, but Mr.6's 'I'm taking out the trash, honey' outfit didn't go with it. She seemed to be going for the look of the character Flower, the glamorous skunk in Bambi, with the black & white themes of her looks. Darker, thicker black brows, huge white part in hair, black & white outfits. Flower was a Disney creation. Maybe the wife is still wooing Disney. Oh, I just got it, the wife is also, 'black & white.' How could I have forgotten?! LOL! She loves to gift people with food, maybe she should present some group with trays of Oreos or NYC's famous black and white cookies! Some AAs used to think the term 'oreo' was an insult. Not sure what the status on that term is now, it might still be verboten.

The wife's photos with G. Steinem had a faint whiff of elder abuse about them. Steinem is obviously quite frail these days, & in her heyday was quite the glamour girl. She may not have wanted to be forced to be in the wife's pap shoot.

hmmm.....sounds to me that Mr. Kashner wants to continue to work doing interviews for magazines.
Notice - he does not dispute anything that MM did, just that she was "warm, gracioous, intelligent and.....courage". He had no control over the omission of the P&G story. "let them live their live out in peace". Does MM really want peace ( and quiet)? The couple's lives say otherwise.
Scobie Doo may have scored a point in the "refute" column, but the author's words say otherwise.
Calling someone `extraordinary' isn't necessarily a compliment...

Thanks for the feedback on MSNBC. The journalist sounds like a bleeding heart liberal. His pronouncements on the Commonwealth are typical of the ignorant. African countries, who were never part of the British Empire, have joined the Commonwealth (including Rwanda). All African countries who were British colonies chose full independence way back in the last century (did not keep Queen as head of state) but eagerly became and still are in the Commonwealth because they choose to do so as sovereign nations (Rhodesia and South Africa were kicked out but South Africa rejoined decades ago ... don't know about 'one of the problem children of Africa' Zimbabwe).

I suspected it is a liberal media platform and am thus surprised that they are criticising the Duke of Wessex and his wife! (Sophie Wessex has twice spoken to a full, in session General Assembly.) How thick skinned and stupid must they be not to see the writing on the wall ... she was not allowed to speak or even be on the stage with him; the auditorium was mostly empty; he was called The Duke of Wessex ...! I want to shake them and say 'Read the roo, kiddos!'

The Backgrid shots of the ho cosplaying Kate in the black and white outfit are chilling—she is advertising her mental and emotional instability. I imagine she read the critiques of Kate’s choice of gown for the Top Gun premiere and decided to show ‘em how it should be worn (and by whom—an excessively self-bronzed lunatic.) Equally disturbing is the video clip of her clamping onto his hand like a vise and pulling it into her lap. Sick stuff.

In his interview with Piers Morgan, Tom Bower says the purpose of his book is to help take them down a peg so as to mitigate the damage they can do to the Royal Family going forward. And he told PM that he solved the riddle of Doria—he discovered where she was and what she was doing during the 10 years she was absent from Meghan’s life. He says that it is Doria who is primarily responsible for Twat’s ghosting of Thomas Markle—D wanted the glitz and glam and riches all to herself.

I think the VF writer has been on the receiving end of Ms.6's hate squad, & wants it to stop. Bower's account of the interview with the wife sounded typical of the creepy manipulativeness we've seen from her, as in her treatment of #6, & in the skin-crawling interview with poor Craig Ferguson.

The excerpt from the Bower book sounded like a credible exchange between two fellow writers. The VF writer obviously has vulnerabilities when it comes to members of the opposite sex, & the wife picked up on it immediately. She really is repulsive, I'm afraid. The guy doesn't want to lose any possible writing gigs. It's hard enough out there for middle-aged white guys.

I've never bought a book of celebrity gossip in my life, but I'm tempted to buy Bower's best seller. He's fried bigger fish than the 6s & survived to tell the tale. LOL.

Fishpond (Australia) does indeed have a release date in November.

From my experience in book publishing, the explanation is that publication dates are different for different markets.

The book has not been delayed. Some markets are just going to have to wait longer. If I was a publisher, I would be afraid of cancelled orders for such a high profile book and would be phoning every contact in India and Singapore to get the book printed and delivered pronto!

Thanks Hikari - I'll give it a go. I do know that what went on was far more nuanced than the simple version usually presented. Mel Gibson doesn't help -

The Patriot was pretty terrible, yeah. (RIP Heath Ledger) The character Mel played in that film was loosely based upon a real Revolutionary War figure--Francis 'the Swamp Fox' Marion, who used his knowledge of native warfare and of the local areas in the Southern colonies to outfox the British.

BTW Geo III was, I think, quite a decent old buffer. As Charles II said `my words are my own - the actions are my ministers' or wtte. That's the whole point of our Constitution

"The Madness of King George" starring Nigel Hawthorne is one of my favorite films. It opened my eyes to a sympathetic portrait of a King who was cultured, energetic, hugely interested in his land and his people and extraordinary in his time and station of devoted fidelity to his wife, Queen Charlotte. The patriarch of a huge clan . . though most of his kids . . uffda! . . what a mess they were.

I think when the Colonies had our ultimate disagreement with His Majesty, the King was in the beginning of his intermittent insanity, which is why he was so obdurate to deal with.

The older he gets, the more Prince Charles reminds me of his great-great something grandfather, 'Farmer George'. It's in the genes. Were it not for Geo. III's tragic physical maladies, I think he'd be remembered for all of his greater qualities and not for his madness, including here in his former Colonies.

I just thought I’d share this excellent comment re the DM article about Harry’s appearance at the UN:

SCATHING PEN, Amlwch, United Kingdom, 11 hours ago

He's been looking like an abandoned, unloved dog left out in the rain for months now. He says he's living his best life but, look at pictures of him, they seem to say he's living in a nightmare. He looked like such a fool, orating a speech, no doubt dictated by his wife, to a half empty room full of people who looked politely interested but who were actually bored out of their skins. Someone should really sit them both down an tell them that as far as the world is concerned, they are nothing. Just a bad PR side show, preaching their usual hypocritical nonsense. White noise on a radio has more depth to it.

Maneki,

I thought * was 5 ft 7?

I don't doubt she listed that on a CV (5'6" is more commonly seen) but . . No. She wears 4" stilettos usually so she appears to be 5'7" in company. Doria is absolutely tiny, and * is slightly taller . . maybe an inch, no more than two. Personally I think * is 5'4". Possibly even 5'3". If you look at her relative to Harry in the few times she's wearing flats (polo, mosque visit, e.g.) the differential is way more than 5 or 6 inches. Harry's published height is 6'1".
Hikari -

I really appreciate your kind assessment of Geo III - I sometimes get the impression that some Americans hold him personally responsible for any mistreatment of America by Britain. Come to think of it, there were plenty of Britons who were taxed without representation until well into the 20C.

The curious thing is that the thought that PC resembles Geo III in some respects crossed my mind too as I wrote my piece!

`There are many unsolved mysteries in the world. Who really built the pyramids? Where do all the odd socks go? Why do I remember the bags for life only when I’m halfway to the supermarket?
But perhaps the most baffling of all is this: why the hell is Prince Harry so damn miserable?...'

I've never bought a book of celebrity gossip in my life, but I'm tempted to buy Bower's best seller.
_____

I wouldn’t qualify Bower’s book(s) as celebrity gossip. He is a very smart, well educated, accomplished journalist who is meticulous in his research and writing. You should listen to his interview with Piers Morgan. In it, he says that he left a huge amount of material out of the book because he could not find sufficient documented proof of its accuracy to publish it—to have included it in his book would have been to engage in “gossip and innuendo” and he doesn’t deal in that.

Bower (a former Marxist) is pro-Monarchy and wants to expose Meghan and Harry for what they are, so as to hamper their ability to take it down. God bless the man.
Neutral Observer - you're absolutely right, *'s a sadistic dog-trainer. I can almost hear her -

`Sit!'

`Heel!'

`Down!'

`In your bed!'

`Leave!'

`Give!'

Did she use a collar that delivered an electric shock?

This just in from Page Six on-line, re: Twat cos-playing Duchess Kate's black dress with white band across the top:

"A royal watcher tweeted a side-by-side photo of the two duchesses with an Oscar Wilde quote, stating 'Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.'"

@WBBM: re: SARAH VINE. Perhaps Twat threatens Hairy daily with the release of da*ming photos/recordings if he doesn't hop to her demands.

Prince Harry mocked for 'copying and pasting' William's speech at UN

Prince Harry has been accused of "copying and pasting" his elder brother Prince William's speech while addressing to the United Nations yesterday.

The clip comparing the two speeches side-by-side appears to show some resemblances, with Prince William’s 2021 Church of Scotland Speech referencing similar talking points.

Referencing his mother’s death, William said: “And in the dark days of grief that followed, I found comfort and solace in the Scottish outdoors.”

In Harry's Un speech, the Duke also referenced his late mother Princess Diana when talking about Africa, saying: “It’s where I felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died.”

He goes on to talk about Meghan Markle, adding “and where I knew I’d found a soulmate in my wife.”

Similarly, The Duke of Cambridge said in his 2021 speech: “It was here in Scotland, 20 years ago, that I first met Catherine. Needless to say, the time when you meet your future wife holds a very special place in your heart.”

Twitter erupted with reactions as one user @RoyalImposters, wrote alongside the clip: “Prince Harry just copied and pasted Prince William’s 2021 Church of Scotland Speech.”

@Rebecca, I'm not criticizing Tom Bower, he knows his job. Please look at my other comments about him. I suppose I'm trivializing Ms. 6's relative importance. She did marry a British prince, so I suppose that gives her historical significance.

@WBBM, Yes, it's so apparent.

Did you see the video of them walking out of the Italian restaurant?? She was slowing down and look both ways for maximum photo angles. He basically rushed to the car and shoved her inside. He looked away while she was getting in the car, practically wanting to leave himself.
That’s not a happy marriage and nothing can convince me otherwise. I give it max 2 years, that was mortification for them on so many levels.

Response:
Yeah I know she’s never met a camera she didn’t eye fuck.

Just one of many brutally accurate comments. My goodness me, the wrath is real.

REVEALED: Harry and Meghan are working with Nelson Mandela Foundation on a secret 'leadership development' project through their company Archewell - and it was the South African Ambassador to the UN who arranged their travel for speech

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11029253/Harry-Meghan-working-Nelson-Mandela-Foundation-leadership-development-project.html

So now those two grifters are stealing from South African taxpayers and the Nelson Mandela Foundation? So that she could get papped on New York?

Gayle King interviewing the Vanity Fair guy. I think Tom Bower did not convey how taken in this guy was by TBW.

There was a time when this overblown and inaccurate portrayal of her was the narrative, even in British tabloids.

The guy talks like he is reading a M&B.novel!

re Delayed availability of `Revenge'

My order still seems to be on track altho' W'stones site now says the book be available soon, with no date. Perhaps they are having to do another print run as demand has exceeded expectation?

----------------

re plagiarism of Wm's speech - that certainly could explain the improvement in the quality of the content. She's got such a record of trying to pass off the work of others as her own that I should have thought of that first!

How much of her degree work was plagiarised? Or does she consider the lifting of other people's work a more `intelligent' approach to getting a qualification? We can't run her words through Turnitin (the plagiarism-detector program thro' which in UK examines university assignments for similarity). I don't suppose anyone here knows if her North Western degree would have been based on continuous assessment (vulnerable to plagiarism) or invigilated exams (less so) although by the time she sat down and turned over her question paper, cheating technology would have been available.

Fortunately, between us, we Nutties have a `hive mind' so perhaps we can do it on brain power!

It's pretty funny. Fox News is conservative, so unlikely to share #6's views.

Just came across a post by someone who has read the first two chapters (available for free on the Apple platform). What we saw published in the Times are excerpts. Apparently the book is very detailed. See the contents here:

Or try here (but SS have launched a lengthy campaign to shut down this social media account - they cannot tolerate anything less than worship of their goddess):

Opening post:

"SPOILERS.......OMG this is a very deep dive, it will be a very slow read just to assimilate the detail, and my god is there detail. Doria and Thomas's family tree is dissected and it is also clear Meghans best school friends including Ninaki Priddy have talked. Its very readable, and I was gravely disappointed to be stopped after the college chapter"

Thank you Seriously now for the hysterical comment repost from the The cat with the emerald tiara! Oh so true and apt!!😂😂😂

A Quiet Interlude

Not much appears to be going on. Living Legends came and went without fanfare ... what's the next event?   Super Bowl - Sunday February 11th?  Oscar's - March 10th?   In the mean time, some things are still rolling along in various starts and stops like Samantha's law suit. Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

As Time Passes and We Get Older

I started thinking about how time passes when reading some of the articles about the birthday.  It was interesting to think about it from the different points of view.  Besides, it kind of fits as a follow up the last post (the whole saga of can the two brothers reunite). So there is the requisite article about how he will be getting all kinds of money willed to him from his great-grandmother.  There were stories about Princess Anne as trustee (and not allowing earliest access to it all).  Whether or not any or all of this is true (there was money for him and/or other kids) has been debated with claims she actually died owing money with the Queen paying the debts to avoid scandal.  Don't know but I seem to remember that royal estates are shrouded from the public so we may not (ever) know. However, strange things like assisting in a book after repeated denials have popped up in legal papers so nothing is ever really predicable.   We are also seein...

The Opening Act of New Adventures in Retail

I keep thinking things will settle down to the lazy days of spring where the weather is gorgeous and there is a certain sense of peacefulness.  New flowers are coming out. increasing daylight so people can be outside/play and thinking gardening thoughts.  And life is quiet.  Calm. And then something happens like a comet shooting across the sky.  (Out of nowhere it arrives and then leaves almost as quickly.)   An update to a law suit.  Video of the website is released (but doesn't actually promote any specific product which can be purchased from the website).  A delay and then jam is given out (but to whom and possible more importantly - who did not make the list?).  Trophies almost fall (oops).  Information slips out like when the official date of beginning USA residency.  (now, isn't that interesting?) With them, it's always something in play or simmering just below the surface.  The diversity of the endeavors is really ...
