And the Band Played On

All these terrible revelations.  They keep coming out - like a never ending clown car.  And, there are supposed to be even more of them when the book is officially released.  And that, is only hours away.

Some of this is planned.  Other is an accident (of sorts or so they say).  Either way, these releases always seem to wind up as a flash in the pan before something else (hotter, bleeds better) take that spot.  At any rate, no matter how well planned these things seem to go, they don't seem to achieve how well run a Palace function seemed to go most of the time, for most senior BRFs.

Short term gains versus the long haul strategy.  No one is saying "It's only a flesh wound." from a palace but ... man.  It must be tiring to sound like you are smiling as you are saying: "The Palace has no comment." day after day after day.

Tiara stories - And yet another slightly different one.  Now we read that she could have worn a Spencer tiara.  Not certain how many they have but if she had been offered the chance to wear the one Diana wore - would she turn down the chance to cement that Diana 2.0 look?  But wait, she is offered a cozy visit with Queen and a few others at the Palace for a private viewing of some of the Queen's tiaras (in the Queen's private dressing room no less).  Trying on options and then some back and forth with Ms Kelly about the tiara chosen.  But wasn't there something in Finding Freedom with a long description of where all the jewels kept kept and it wasn't in the Queen's dressing room?  People expressed concerns about that as a potential security leak (I thought).

But in the end, * wore a bandeau which isn't technically a tiara.  Tiaras extend in a full or almost full circle and tend to be raised - especially in a graduated height way - while a bandeau is more like a headband and they tend not to have graduated height and are worn more on the forehead.  Perhaps the earlier conversation about what was chosen was just muddling the terms of tiara and bandeau.  What is consistent is that getting ahold of it for the hairdresser was not easy on them.

After listening to HG Tudor's talk about the Queen saying yes to 5's engagement, there is a part of me which wonders if the Queen really told * that tiaras look good on her, was it a head game or was it something now which can't really be proven.

Balmoral Banned - telling his father, who is dealing with not just the immediate death of his mother but the weight of his future now as king, that his father is disrespecting the woman who has only known the Queen for a nanosecond compared to the years and years of his father.  To be on the receiving end of that accusation - brutal.

Prince William and his wife were devoted to Suits?  Really?  Really?  It was available (so technically possible) but is this realistic?  that in the down time of new parents, more kids, raising those kids, learning about how to read the boxes, learning how to think like HM, learn about early childhood, gardening shows and so on special interests, that they would find an obscure (not mainstream but cable) USA show which was less about the legal cases than maybe the sex?  Or is it more likely that this was some sort of dig about feeling some negativity about what she did in her episodes (you know - the sex scenes)?  It would not explain why Prince William appears to be not ever really looking at her in some way.  Really, it's just odd timing that this explanation now appears instead of long ago.  You know, like in that first book they had a hand in - Finding Freedom.

.And we keep reading of demands for accountability (to which the response seems to be "For what?" because it is never very clear just how or what was wrong).  I suspect what he really is trying to demand is: Respect.  Respect for him, his choices and for his wife.  The reality (IF that is what he is really trying to get) is that you can't force people to respect you just because (insert your good reason here).  You have to earn it. Threatening people also doesn't make them respect you either.

And we aren't even two weeks into the new year.  What's next for the Montecito people?  A letter from the IRS?

New from The Independent (just an excerpt):

A reconciliation with Prince Harry is “impossible” because the King, Queen Consort and Prince William fear anything they say will be made public, The Independent understands.

A source close to the royal family said the King, Camilla and William believe the situation will remain unchanged while the Duke of Sussex remains effectively “kidnapped by a cult of psychotherapy and Meghan”.

“They are trapped,” said the source. “They really can't engage because everything they say will be shared with the media. It is impossible to have a conversation or write a letter because of the risk that anything they say being put in the public domain by Harry, potentially for commercial benefit.

“There has been a complete breakdown of trust.”

I think the something specific that the Duke might have said was the word compensation.

That's new. He has not used that language before.

Certainly makes it sound like hes planning on suing the Royal family doesn't it.
Wonder if his backers or MM has put it into his head that he needs reparations.

This is all about getting money. And only about getting money.

@Mel, you quoted Harry at the end of the previous blog post:

“I genuinely believe that if me and my family can reconcile ... but first there has to be compensation and accountability."

I, like you, was struck by the obnoxious term COMPENSATION.

What is he delusionally dithering on about? Compensation for what? Compensation from whom?

I will say that I hope Harry and Meghan receive their just desserts, and those just desserts do not include "compensation" for imagined ills.

This sickening saga just never ends, does it?

I remember after the Oprah interview that Charles and William lamented (through palace sources) that they cannot have a private conversation with Harry because it appears in snippets through Harry and / or *. I specifically remember a private conversation that H repeated in an interview. So now Harry is using this tactic? I find it humorous because he was caught doing it, and Dan wooten claims he has those famous receipts (proof) that Susses leaked.
There have been so many changes of what Harry said that I can't keep up. (as I stated on the previous thread). Add to this the new left handed compliments that Harry has given about Camilla to use in his defense if KCIII states you crossed the line.

I am so appalled at the past 48 hours that I am overwhelmed. I hope the lawyers at the Firm are well paid.

it is curious. there were a lot of stupid things in all of the Netflix/Oprah/book. However there wasn’t the “i took the fall for william on pot/drugs? no sexual molestation (i confess i though a suggestion or an inference or an outright accusation would be in the book) no actually reports or innuendos of affairs. nothing about andrew other than what was in media meg made kate cry, william got upset with me over my wife’s behavior, I don’t like my step mum could have been far meatier and far worse. and now harold can’t come out with those things because few will believe home )as in why didn’t you say any of this before).

Compensation. hmmm will they sue if titles are stripped because it will cost them future earnings ? will they sue for damaged reputations? sue for hurt feelings? sue for loss of privileges of half in half out? inability to make a living because the big bad BRF is a monopoly (they are actively thwarting contracts/business with the Sussexes by not doing business with anyone doing business with them) gonna try to break it up like the railroads and ma bell? access to the rest of his inheritance? access to more of diana’s stuff? collusion with the press? so instead of wasting all their money on PR it will be on lawyers?

Saw this theory elsewhere....

The reason he's saying he has ptsi (injury) versus ptsd is he wants compensation for his injury.

Sounds plausible.

Injured by whom, though? For what?

Injured by the death of his mother?
Or injured by how the BRF handled it with him?

An injury to him was caused. But by whom? For what?
Whoever ordered the killing?

Curiouser and curiouser.

She figures * was a yacht girl in 2001, has probably bedded Andrew, and we know her affiliation with Ron Burkle. She has(d) ties to Epstein, also.

And now he is openly downing shots on TV. I am just waiting for him to take out a joint and light up!

Does addiction explain his behaviour? Yes. In the 12-step programme, one of the steps is to make a full confession. Whining about or blaming anyone or anything else is not part of any of the 12 steps. No one wants to hear about an unhappy childhood or abusive parents, but you do have to confess and take responsibility for every person you hurt, every job you lost ... it is an effective programme.

Well I have seen that idea that she is much older periodically but I have not ever seen a lot of what I call "proof" one could go to the bank with. It always seems to be more of a friend of a friend sound to it. To pull that off, * would need compliance from school friends, people who worked with her father on sets and more who would know. None of these people are bound by an NDA but we don't hear whispers from any of them. Not 5 years ago. Not now.

In Samantha's book, she has a photo of the Immaculate Heart High School graduation and clearly states it as 1999 which would put * at like 17/18. Samantha would have no interest in supporting a continued lie about when the graduation occurred or how old her sister really is.

One of the claims was that she also wrote to HRC about the soap ad (as first lady) but that age wise, HRC was still supposed to be in Arkansas. But HRC became first lady in January 1993 so it could still be technically possible depending on how old she was (11 to 12 I have read). What I suspect is that the HRC part was added later (admiration for her and sounded good), she did write a letter to HRC as first lady, or that there was a letter but it went to Barbara Bush with it but remembered later as HRC because HRC has way more feminist views aligning with *.

What I find interesting is that no one ever points out that First Ladies have no control over advertising put out by Madison Avenue. Just what kind of response was someone expecting for * way back then to be?

In a way, I'm not surprised that H, no doubt egged on by wifey, is asking for (red: demanding) compensation. This is the way things are are going. If you hhhhad the misfortune to have some remote ancestor some 200 or 250 years ago who happened to be a slave owner, you need to pay compensation. The British actor Benedict Cumberbatch is a case in point.

A quick look at the Daily Mail seems to show wall-to-wall Hazmat coverage. The Colbert Show looks like it could be a disaster. Downing tequila shots on tv before a live audience? I know that late night shows often give alcohol before the taping to guests in the green rooms, to help them relax & perhaps become less discreet, but this is getting embarrassing. We've all become impatient with Hazzard, but he needs to be rescued, from himself & his poisonous wife. I'm so sorry for his family, all of them, any including any possible children. I shudder to think what Maggot will do with Hazmat's self implosion.

* Charles: chaotic and hurt
* Camilla: she is strong
* William: tired and betrayed
* Catherine: I am a hard worker and I will continue to work
* Hapless: euphoria and anchored in this moment
* TBW: uh! choice to carry out storm in sight or creation of a storm by it for itself (not sure what this means, but maybe means ride out the storm in public or create another storm as a distraction?)

This blogger is convinced a divorce is in the future and his present behaviour is playing into her divorce narrative. He will be in denial about her shafting him but a lawyer or psychologist will give him a very simple 'drawing' of the scam.

I am still not convinced that a separation/divorce is on the cards, but sometimes something unexpected happens. If Mudslide Manor is badly damaged, where do they go, and what happens to Doria, and will Tyler Perry or Oprah supply a mansion for them?

gloria steinem in CIA. google it. it’s in her book. and tons of legit articles talking about it. doesn’t discount the possibility that *was a yacht girl but i don’t see * as a cia plant. she would be awful. never following her handler’s direction demanding changes to the script. they would turn it around and soft leak she was a russian spy just to get her neutralized 😉. i still think she was a bet among some people. i bet we can get a girl with the raunchiest of the raunchy past and present and get her into the royal family. kinda like a dark Pygmalion sort of thing several people are laughing the arses off right now.

I agree with you snarky that a lot of these yacht girls are probably approached by the CIA to get them to share details of what they experience. Perhaps even some are approach to carry out some special actions on behalf of the CIA like planting microphones, taking photos, etc.

My eyes were really opened about the CIA when I read that they were very involved in the art scene of all things, in the late 1950s and early 1960s in the USA. They were trying to show that the USA had the most dynamic culture and even sponsored artist like Jackson Pollock, the guy who made these dripping paint paintings.

Over on his narcsite youtube channel, H.G. Tudor has a copy of “Spare” and has started er slly reading from it with his analysis if it interspersed here and there. I don’t know if he plans to verbally read all of it with his analysis or just read selected parts. The book is reported to be slightly more than 500 pages long, so reading all of it out loud with his analysis would be a lengthy series of videos for him to produce.

Even as Tudor read the first pages, Harry’s Meghan-cultivated victim mentality and venom are already evident.

I’m surprised this book doesn’t come with a pair of medical-grade rubber gloves and a toxic warning label on the cover.

One of the, at this point, innumerable betrayals & deceptions of Maggot & Mole, is that IIRC, they sold their series to Netflix planning to violate the privacy of Hazmat's family. They were going to film an 'inside look' at the royals. It's not surprising his family wanted none of that. Then they went on every platform they could bleating about their own privacy. Is Catherine's privacy being invaded by publishing the content of her texts? The judges who decided the DM case look like idiots. (Although she did only get 1£ in her 'privacy' case.)

Several bookshops were open at midnight to legally comply with the embargo date but getting a head start. One of these only had 12 books sold

And other tweets about how people are avoiding the area where the books are presented, and of very slow sales, even at half price.

I read that the author doesn't get any royalties from discounted books. I wonder if this is true as so many places are selling the book at a discount already.

My guess is that Hazmat's disastrous book promotion tour is a fulfillment of his contract obligations to PRH. They were dumped by Sunshine Sachs, their employees have been leaving like rats fleeing a sinking ship. Hazmat obviously has no 'team' advising him at this point, just Maggot & Dorito dripping poison & foolishness into his ear. His isolation is so apparent, as I wrote earlier, it's a classic sign of an abusive relationship, ring-fencing the victim from all areas of possible support to make the abuser more powerful. Queen Camilla likely recognizes the signs. Someone like Hazmat needs to be protected from his own impulses. His family seemed to be doing that before his disastrous marriage. No wonder the Queen looked so concerned at the wedding.

Royalties and discounted books: This is the model ...

* The publisher sets a published price
* The publisher sells to retail outlets at a discounted price. Amazon gets a huge discount; independent booksellers get a smaller dicount.
* The bookseller (retail outlet) actually sells the book at any price they want to. If Amazon is selling at half the published price, it is still making a profit because it gets a huge discount from the publisher. Because independent booksellers don't get such a big discount, if they try to match Amazon bargain prices, they lose money.
* How much the publisher gets depends on the trade discount it offers retailers not the price that booksellers sell the book for.

As for royalties ... they are usually a percentage of the retail price, which is the payment the publisher gets from the bookseller and not the published price.

It is the booksellers that will be crying if the book bombs not the publisher or author. The publisher and author have got their money. But, if a book bombs badly, the publisher and author will find it diffucult to get booksellers to take stock for the next one. Everyone wants a bestseller!

I've seen comments about Hazmat being called 'the white Kanye.'

Whatever you think of him, the man needs help, & not what he's been getting recently. Hikari, or someone else, joked many months ago that the RF should ask MI-5 or MI-6 to spirit Hazmat out of the clutches of the California cult he seems to have become a part of. Might not be such a joke after all.

Audible trial and half-price, $14.99, on Kindle. There doesn't seem to be a hardcover edition for sale unless you buy it as a paperback with another two of his books.

Barnes & Noble sell the hardcover edition for half-price. Also Powell's Book-a-million etc.

I don't see how the witch could block the sale of somebody else's book. She doesn't have that much clout, I would have thought.

This was predictable but it is still depressing:

Prince Harry’s memoir Spare becomes fastest selling non-fiction book ever
Industry experts predict that the book will be one of the best-selling pre-order titles of the past decade

The Duke of Sussex’s headline-grabbing memoir, Spare, has become the fastest selling non-fiction book ever.

The 416-page book, packed with explosive allegations about the Royal family and fascinating asides about their private lives, sold 400,000 hardback, e-book and audio format copies in its first day.

Larry Finlay, managing director of publisher Transworld Penguin Random House, said: “We always knew this book would fly but it is exceeding even our most bullish expectations.

“As far as we know, the only books to have sold more in their first day are those starring the other Harry (Potter).”

Bookshops opened early on Tuesday, the official publication day, but queues were sparse following days of wall-to-wall coverage about its revelations.

The book was inadvertently put up for sale in Spain last Thursday, meaning its contents were already familiar to many. The publication has also been accompanied by a publicity blitz involving several interviews with the Duke.

Industry experts have predicted that Spare will be one of the best-selling pre-order titles of the past decade.

I cannot feel sorry for Harry that he lost his mother at age 12.
My mother was 11 when her father died of renal failure at home. This was during the Depression - money was scarce. She was an only child.
Five years later in time, my father age 21, his sister (my aunt)age 16 when their father fell over dead in the Bank at 12 noon. The family business literally carried on within hours of learning of the death. They picked up and carried on.
Bad things happen to people - it does affect them. But most people will not allow it to define them. That is the difference with Harry and his life and his "truth" - nothing is his fault. As Dan Wooten said - what a sad, little man.

Re the book sales.

Let’s not forget Amazon is still selling the book with 50% off, plus publishers falsely inflate so-called sales figures in order to get into the best sellers listings. Lady C said even if it initially does well….it has to have legs in order for the publishers to get their money back. 🫤

My father died when I was 8 years old. Within days, I realized that fantasizing about his still being alive somehow was the way of madness, and I quickly stopped entertaining those fantasies. I was 8. Harold was almost 13. And his fantasies lasted for years.

There's something wrong with that boy.

1.A very astute review, thank you.

This book says more about Harry than anything else, he needs help, proper professional help.
(628 Recommends)

2. Yes he does need help Suzanne. An exploding suppository might ‘help’. (129 Recommends)

Thank heaven for people with a sense of humor!

From what I've read about the book, poor Hazard spends an inordinate amount of time talking about his 'todger.' Does he think we care? What a sad, weird little man.

Instead of becoming the 'Peoples Prince' he would better be described as the Peevish Prince, or Prince of Petty maybe The Perturbed Prince or The Pained Prince, even the Passive-Agressive Prince etc..There is a slew of negative adjetives that could be used to describe him, Pathetic, Persecution, Panicked, Paranoid, Perverse, etc....many many words our good Nutty poet, Magatha has on speed dial.

And we can cite a slew of negative nouns starting with P that could be combined with 'Prince'. I hope the Media uses every single one and maybe he will get the implication although he might have to hire a tutor to help him look up the definitions in the dictionary and a linguist (morphology) who could help him pronounce & understand them in context, so as to refute them in interviews.

Heck I can see a poll of which ones seem best and a bet of which one triumphs in the media and Harry gets named with over time.

That's all I got because I am overwhelmed at the great contributions the Nutties have said and the links to many articles/websites that will take time to read and see.

Sorry to hear about your wound problems.

I had a surgical incision that had necrosis (the term for the skin tissue around the incision that started dying). I wore a wound vacuum prescribed by my surgeon for several weeks. It worked great.

I have two friends who had similar problem with wounds that were not healing who were also helped by wearing a wound vacuum. It works by exerting a very mild suction on the wound area, which encourages capillary growth to create a new network of blood vessels.

Hope your doctor and the wound clinic are able to help you.

"Lawsuit over what? Whatever they can cook up and present in a court in flakey California. The BRF does not have home field advantage there. Who put this nuisance lawsuit idea into his knuckle head"

Harry will have multiple significant legal obstacles to overcome in any lawsuit.

- Are the incidents even actionable (is there a legal basis for suing over any alleged cause of action he cites)
- Venue could be the UK not California (where did specific alleged act occur)
- Can he prove his claim(s).
- Will Harry suffer a credibility problem (I would think so)
- Is there a legal reason the BRF can rely on in their defense.
- Is it Harry's opinion or mere interpretation of events.
- Can he actually prove damages.
- Did harry come to court with "unclean hands" (like did he do something wrong too)
- Did Harry mitigate the damage in some way
- Does he have witnesses to testify on his behalf (eg. Meghan was not at W & H fight)
- Then could the BRF cross-complain against Harry for a myriad of items?

I'm not an attorney but even an ammature like me can see some of these potential legal landmines for him.

I wish the dirt would be more like bad accounting which is why they split into different organizations. Then it is both or perhaps more her than him if things were only a problem after it was 4 but not 3.

Or the bullying report is released. QEII didn't want it released but there is a new King in town.

It would be easier to remove any titles if she were no longer married to 5 and she wouldn't be living in the UK or making progress in becoming a UK citizen.

If she did use this to justify an exit, I'm not certain she would find it free flowing money. He may not have much left and his father has already demonstrated that the faucet has been turned off.

If they did help fund any child support, then they would be wise to ask for the actual bill plus the credit card statement. Better to show proof of what the bill really was and track it to the credit card (cross check for no reimbursement plus the item was returned for cash). Reimburse instead of not knowing where the money went each month.

And she appears to have a pattern of going to someone without a lot of time in between. Given what is going on (the book, NF, the interviews, the evacuation orders), do you think she's had time to work on finding someone? If so, who? And where would the kids fit in the picture?

Excerpt from the book ... remember when she was photographed walking past DM offices after shopping? This is his account (what insanity is this ... this did not happen):

“Still, despite the mounting stress, the terrible pressure, we managed to protect our essential bond, never snapping at each other during those few days. As we came to the final hours of her visit, we were solid, happy, and Meg announced she wanted to make me a special goodbye lunch. There was nothing in my fridge, as usual. But there was a Whole Foods down the street. I gave her directions, the safest route, past the Palace guards, turn right, towards Kensington Palace Gardens, down to Kensington High Street, there’s a police barrier, take a right and you’ll see Whole Foods. It’s massive, you can’t miss it.I had an engagement but I’d be home soon.Baseball cap, jacket, head down, side gate. You’ll be fine, I promise. Two hours later, when I got home, I found her inconsolable. Sobbing. Shaking. What is it? What’s happened? She could barely get the story out. She’d dressed just as I’d advised, and she’d run happily, anonymously, up and down the supermarket aisles. But as she rode the escalator a man approached. Excuse me, do you know where the exit is?Oh, yes, I think it’s just up here to the left[…]”

“He whipped out his phone and followed her to the deli counter, snapping away while she looked at the turkey. F the turkey, she thought, hurrying to the checkouts. He followed her there too.She got into the queue. Before her were rows and rows of magazines and newspapers, and on all of them, under the most shocking and disgusting headlines…was her. The other customers noticed as well. They looked at the magazines, looked at her, and now they too pulled out their phones, like zombies.Meg caught two cashiers sharing a horrible smile. After paying for her groceries, she walked outside, straight into a group of four men with their iPhones aimed at her. She kept her head down, rushed up Kensington High Street. She was nearly home when a horse-drawn carriage came rolling out of Kensington Palace Gardens. Some sort of parade: the Palace gate was blocked. She was forced back along the main road, where the four men picked up the scent again, and chased her all the way to the main gate, screaming her name.”

express . co . uk/news/royal/1719539/Prince-Harry-TK-Maxx-claim-sale-response-UK-shop-memoir-spare

TK Maxx has hit back at Prince Harry's claim that he would shop in their "annual sale" as they said it is not something they even offer. ...

Harry revealed that despite receiving an official clothing allowance from his father, he would shop for his "everyday casual clothes" in TK Maxx, adding that he was "particularly fond" of the discount store’s annual sale.

But a spokesperson has refuted this, as they told Express.co.uk: "Whilst we're delighted Prince Harry is a big fan, we thought we should explain we don't actually do sales. Instead, we offer great value, style, and savings all year round."
-----

Well, the 'find the lies' is going well.

* Claims to have been at Ludgrove when the Queen mother died but was actually in Switzerland with his father and brother.
* Claims that all the Queen's grandchildren had been born (and actually names Edward and Sophie as having their children by then) the year the Queen mother and Princess Margaret died (2002), but the Wessex children were born much later (2003 and 2009 I think).
* Now claims to have bought clothes at an annual sale from a shop that does not have sales.

These kind of errors are not a matter of opinion or 'his lived experience' - they are actual facts that are wildly wrong.

As for her story about her experience of going to Whole Foods - this is the drama she was subjecting him to?

Greetings Nutties, I haven’t posted for a long time (always read) trying to avoid getting worked up over Horrible Harold and co. but he’s stench is everywhere now so I just can help myself.

“Girl with a Hat...re ‘the story to break about Harry’ I recall a rumour that he beat up sex workers in Afghanistan , it must have been on more than one occasion because they refused to service him. Did he last out his full tour of duty or was he sent home?

The story he gave about ‘leaving’ the army was that he was offered a desk job when he returned from Afghanistan and quit because he couldn’t stand it. If the rumour is true then it was an easy out for all involved rather then the army needing to officially cashier him because of his record. Maybe one of his now very angry army pals has leaked it to the press OR it’s coming via * herself.

“CatsEyes’ … re all the P’s that Harry might be called ‘Pusillanimous’ would be my pick

1.Lacking courage; cowardly.
2.Destitute of a manly or courageous strength and firmness of mind ; of weak spirit; mean-spirited; spiritless
3.Evincing, or characterized by, weakness of mind, and want of courage; of feeble character.

Regarding the ‘Titles’ conundrum

‘The Monarch has sole prerogative over all styles and titles belonging to an HRH’

It is in one of the clauses of the last succession re write in 1917. It was inserted so no future anti monarchy government could remove titles from the RF out of spite.

It basically means only Charles can remove Harry's titles and styles as long as he remains an HRH. If Charles were to take his HRH away that would allow parliament to vote on stripping him of his titles, otherwise they can't touch him. Also note the phrase ‘styles and titles. Harry’s titles are Duke, Earl and Baron but his styles are HRH and Prince. If Charles decided to go nuclear, he could remove Harry’s Prince moniker as well.

I believe Charles wishes to avoid this at all costs as once Harry’s titles are removed they can never be reinstated and he can never receive a different title of equal status. (The Prince and HRH styles could technically be restored). Charles is still holding onto hope that the prodigal son will return one day.

Meghan has no titles, they are all Harry’s. If Harry loses them she does too. Styles (HRH and Prince/Princess) are slightly different and each ‘style’ would require a letters patent issued to remove them.

Bottom line : Despite all, Charles is still protecting his despicable son.

Apologies, but the excerpt from the book is posted as an image from a social media post within a Tumbler post, so I have not referenced it here ...

He claims that his father sent an aide to Soho House to plant the story about William and Rose. When William found out, he went to see his brother at Frogmore Cottage (TBW, who was supposedly never going out was not at home) and raged about what his father had done (conversation repeated verbatim).

Who dreamed up this nonsense? His drug and alcohol addled brain or did TBW assist him? Why are they so obsessed with this story that they would write it in such detail (but not mention the 'racist' comment, no numerous conversations, about the colour of Archie's skin at all)?

I doubt that Charles even knows about the existence of Soho House! And how was his aide in Soho House in Amsterdam at that party?

To me, this is confirmation that it was him and TBW who told Giles a false story about an affair. They were in Soho House in Amsterdam, at the same party with Giles. Lainey in Canada gave the story legs, and she has a direct link to TBW.

William knows the story came from his brother and TBW, which is why he was so angry. (Did he work it out or did someone at the party tell him?) But, he is still protecting his brother so he made sure the story did not reach the media by asking his source to please not talk about it. That did not stop the truth being worked out and shared on social media, and they read everything about themselves so they knew.

But why does this story bug them so much that they have to make up a story about Charles? Or was the story simply used to cause trouble between Charles and William?

I can't believe that anyone wants to read Spare but I thought I would do some sleuthing. My local Waterstones has about fifty copies for sale at a half-price-cost of fourteen pounds sterling. W.H.Smiths has half a dozen copies on show at the same half-price cost. I will presume the larger out-of-town supermarkets also have copies for sale.

I await both the prequel (largely about his Mum and Grandma who were both very famous) and the sequel (where he explains how he was shafted by his wife in the up-coming divorce case). There will also then be spin-offs like Meghan Markle's My Struggle (in three volumes) and these will greatly outsell the Prince of Wales Never Complain Never Explain where he fails to set out his truth - a very slim volume.

I think it is possible that she is sharing the delusions with him and they feed off each other ... a folie a deux. If she is simply manipulating and controlling him, then how does him going completely off the rails bonkers serve her? They are both awash with Netflix and Spotify money so if she is going to bolt, this is the time to do so. Has she been married long enough to grab a lion's share according to Californian divorce law?

It is interesting that Scobie has put out the narrative that it is time for the couple to move on and work on reconciliation with the royal family. Remember this was the rumour - that once the memoir was published, there would be reconciliation with the royal family. Has he gone rogue? Is he the one behind the demands for a sit down therapy session, and public apologies, and compensation, and a Commonwealth role? Besides what Scobie is saying, she has been quiet - not even a pap walk, which she would usually do. But maybe she has been 'swept up' by the flooding so plans have gone awry!
Sandie said…
What gives him plausible deniability is the narrative that he 'boasted' that he killed 25 Taliban. 'Boasting' is a perception. He focuses on this as a distraction and deflection of criticsm, which they are both good at doing.

The problem with what he wrote is that he revealed a number and then spoke about not seeing the Taliban he killed as human. He crossed a line in doing that, going directly against his training and briefing and the government line about what they were doing in Afghanistan, but he can argue that it was not a boast but a revealing 'uncomfortable' truths about war. However, his defence is a narcissistic one - he revealed for his 'healing' and not as some kind of commentary about war and how it is conducted, at all levels.
Sandie said…
He also has plausible deniability about the 'royal racist' comment. What did they say in that interview?

He said someone in his family made a comment about the colour of his future children's skin, before they were even engaged. He now says the whole royal family has unconscious racial bias, like he had, and need some kind of intervention of sorts.

She said someone asked about the colour of the child's skin when she was pregnant with Archie, and that there were numerous conversations. When Oprah came to the conclusion that the family member was concerned that Archie may be too dark and that he was not made a prince nor would get protection because he was mixed race, TBW agreed that this would be the correct conclusion, but in an indirect word salad kind of way.

When the media went on a witch hunt for the royal racist and started flinging accusations around, immediately after the interview, they put out a statement, via Gayle I think, that the royal racist was not the late Queen or Prince Phillip. Indirectly they created and fuelled the media story without ever talking about unconscious bias or explaining their contradictory stories.

Their defence is that the royal family were leaking and inventing stories to feed to the media and attack them, so this gave them the right to exact a kind of revenge.

Many people would support their dirty tactics, but the media often gets caught in the trap they set and end up giving them plausible deniability.

The sales are to retailers, libraries, etc. - the number of books that were delivered to fulfill existing orders. This is not the number of people who rushed out at midnight or first thing the next morning to buy the book. This is not the number of books the public bought (there are still plenty on the shelves and in piles on the floor) but it is excellent PR.

Haven't been able to read everyone's comments, & I certainly won't be reading the book, but EVERY quote from the book I've seen confirms my opinion that the entire thing is the product of Maggot's delusional & vengeful mind. It all seems basically a clap back at everything that's been said about HER.

Because he's a royal,Hazmat has had an unusual life, met interesting people, had privileged experiences. A 'memoir' is usually a look back at the highlights of an interesting life, lived by an interesting person. (Which is why I was surprised that Hazmat was penning a 'memoir.')

Hazmat by himself is basically duller & dimmer than ditchwater, & his book is all about settling scores with the RF, the press & the UK public.

As I expected, the Colbert interview was smarmy & flattering to Hazmat.

Unbelievable that Hazmat blames his family & the press for the fallout on his Afghan kills comment! It seems like fantasy to me. If he was a pilot, how could he shoot people & pilot the copter at the same time? I listen to a podcast on the Ukraine war which has contributions from a former British helicopter pilot, who has said he didn't shoot people. That's what the gunners are for.

If Charles is dumb enough to cave in to Maggot & Mole on their delusional demands, it might lose him a lot prestige within his precious Commonwealth. A lot of those countries & cultures are a tad patriarchal, & will have little respect for a father who can't control his errant children. If Charles has a brain, he will force Hazmat to stay home during his coronation because of the security risk he has inflicted on his family & nation.

On the other thread I linked to an article written by a UK security bod. He's pretty concerned about Maggot & Mole's perfidy. The two of them are pretty ghastly people.

The CBS network is complicit in promoting a narrative which endangers the UK, the RF, the UK military, the UK press, etc. Will airliners be downed in vengeance as they were in the 70s? Will more 9/11s be unleashed in the UK & the USA?

And another lue, regarding her father:

"We told him, leave Mexico right now: A whole new level of harassment is about to rain down on you, so come to Britain. Now,” Harry wrote in Spare.

“Air New Zealand, first class, booked and paid for by Meg.”

The only problem; the airline says it never operated flights between those two countries.

Prince Harry also claimed his wife bought her father, embattled in a controversy surrounding his staged photographs for media at the time in 2018, a first-class ticket on the flight.

Air NZ responded to questions about these claims from the Herald by pointing out it only provides Business Premier fares, rather than first-class as the book claimed.

Why did the publisher not do a fact check? Do they not do so for a memoir?

I agree that the selfish prat has put a lot of people's lives in danger.

I don't think the duo and their kids and Doria are completely safe, but for a fanatic to plan and execute any kind of operation against them would be complex and diffucult. The threat is not huge, but they will be demanding 24/7 protection for them and their children from Scotland Yard. (I think Doria will have to fend for herself.)

There will be retaliation, but it will be against an easier target. Even the royal family are an easier target as they are out in the public so much and not all their engagements are embargoed. Even Catherine ferrying the children to and from school is a target because she does this regularly.

And yes, if there is a way to sabotage a plane, that would be a very typical way of taking revenge. (Who can forget Lockerbie?)

She clearly doesn't realise that the DM had published the story about her parading up and down, so desperate for attention that they thought of sending a photographer down, to `put the poor girl out of her misery'.

Perhaps it went like this:

H is chewing his pencil, wondering what to write.

* `reminds' him of that time she was chased out of the shop and down Kensington High St by a mob of photographers.

H. `I don't remember that'.

*: `Yes, you do, Hawwy! It was that time I was camouflaged in English country clothes I'm I'm sure you do '.

H: `No, I don't'.

5's comment about the family, probably palace being "uncomfortable and scared".

They probably are but not the way he thinks.

I suspect he thinks of it as he has the power and control in the situation, of them and possible revenge while they are thinking more about the person they used to know and how sad they see his situation and his future.

So many what ifs in his life.

Diana lived. She (and maybe PP) pushed more for him to go some place else and so on. He was the one when she died who really was able to say I am thinking of these boys as kids who lost their mother (and he had effectively had that happen to him at an early age so he got it), supporting them as part of the family while everyone else was thinking protocols and dealing with Diana's brother who suddenly kind of taking control of her life after death. Or that had she lived, how that would have impacted their (both kids) ability to learn to see their parent as an adult with flaws and sometimes toting baggage they try passing on to their kids. She died as perfect in many ways before you add in all the public desire to follow her where ever.

It must have been difficult for everyone in some ways to treat the two boys. In some ways they were treated as twins would, where everything was they are a unit together and not as much work on allowing them to develop individual interests and focus on individual abilities. After the divorce, certainly after Diana died, it was probably much easier to treat, make plans and so on for them as a single unit. And things like being at the same school might not only make things easier for holidays but also allow them to support each other by having the other nearby. But I suspect no one asked the boys if they wanted that or, if they did, maybe no one checked to see if that was still a workable idea. (that kind of reminds me of how two mothers become friends and push their two kids together repeatedly but the two kids don't share similar interests or even like each other)

But they PW had a role that was entailed and that he was treated differently because of that. But he was also treated differently because he was also older - a perspective not always something a younger sibling can see it for what it really is.

Thanks, Sandie!

Other inconsistencies have raised questions over whether other parts of Harry’s book might be incorrect, including claims about where he was when he learnt of the late Queen Elizabeth’s mother’s passing and a gift his mother bought for him in 1997 that didn’t exist until four years later.

I'd add even if Harry was assuming that Thomas M was taking off from US, Air NZ doesn't cover the US-London route. Coming from NZ on Air NZ, one stops-over in LA and completes the journey with another carrier.

For all of those who think Maggot actually gave birth to the children: Apparently, Hazmat claims something on the lines that after gulping down a fajita, Maggot had an epidural & then plonked herself into a bath tub to have a water birth. Then they were snug at home in 2 hours.

Apparently, after an epidural, patients are held at hospitals in the UK for at least 6 hours, & having a 'water birth' after an epidural is a medical impossibility. LOLOL!

My own experience in a London private hospital was quite different. I was induced, given an epidural & had an emergency C-section at 1:18 AM, after over 36 hours of labor & released from the hospital several days later. It was my first, as was Maggot's, although I was several years younger.

Maggot really is a super woman. She can overcome laws of nature!

I can't believe their ghost writer is allowing his name to be associated with this obvious fiction.

With my coffee in the morning I peruse the headlines of the NYPost for laughs or horror because they gather the most bizarre news stories. This morning it was Prince Harry saying he was conceived for the sole purpose of providing organs/blood/body parts in case William needed them. Prince Charles and William never flew on the same plane to protect the line of succession, and Harry was never thought of in regards to air safety. You'd think he'd be railing against his evil mother for conceiving him just for spare parts; instead it's a constant barrage of "my dead mother." Harry sure knows how to contradict himself. If he was solely conceived for body tissues then he would be protected physically at all costs. Just with that statement Harry has proven that he is in serious need of a psychiatric hold.

In the Anderson Cooper interview I thought I heard Harry state that he used drugs to cure himself of his mental and emotional issues. Did anyone else hear that?

LOL! about Maggot calling the Air Patrol and demanding they come rescue her with a helicopter! They all had a good laugh about that.

I think what makes the royal family 'uncomfortable' and 'scared' is watching a family member unravel in front of the world. He forgot to add 'helpless'. Before TBW got hold of him, they were always able to find a way to help him with lots of love. Now, there is little or nothing they can do, and his memoirs inadvertantly reveals that as late as Phillip's funeral they were still trying.

They failed to see that he was hovering near danger at the time when he met and was captured by TBW. As a royal, he was trained his whole life how to behave as a royal in public. There were signs of unravelling as soon as she appeared on the scene, but they fled when things began to unravel and lockdowns helped them to delay this breakdown that seems to be happening.

For how long can he go on, egged on by people like Colbert, and the public not seeing what is going on before them? And what more damage can the duo do before they hit unmistakeable rock bottom, or will they always be propped up by sugars, public support, celebrity support, some in the media and the sugars?

This is how devious they are:

The wedding in the backyard (just the three of them) three days before the public spectacle ...

When Welby finally spoke, he said: "I signed the wedding certificate, which is a legal document, and I would have committed a serious criminal offence if I signed it knowing it was false. I had a number of private and pastoral meetings with the Duke and Duchess before the wedding. The legal wedding was on Saturday." So he is not saying that he did not conduct a private wedding ceremony in their backyard three days before the wedding. He is just saying that it would not have been a legal ceremony.

This is what she says: "You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. ...', and then she talks about the backyard and the Archbishop and the wedding vows and just the three of them. So, she can dance around the definition of 'got married' and claim she was not lying. To them, the backyard ceremony 'felt' like the real ceremony and she never said they legally got married in their backyard. She did not mention legalities at all.

Three people hiding behind a load of misleading word salad. The couple do this all the time. I think it is called gaslighting, and the media and the public get sucked in every time. I think it is appalling that the Archbishop contributed to gaslighting the public. He could have simply said that they did exchange private vows in their backyard with him present, three days before the wedding, but it was not a legal wedding ceremony. Even if the couple believe this was their 'real' marriage ceremony, legally it was not.

yes, a couple in the USA conceived and gave birth to a child for the express purpose of giving body parts and body fluids to an older siblings. There was a movie made about this.

However, I think they had to use IVF to make sure that the second child matched the blood type of the first.

Former PC Communicataions Secretary on Good Morning America, which seems significant. Lots to unpack here. No reconciliation possible in the foreseeable future, but there may be a reconciliation in “the fullness of time.” That’s an interesting formulation because it leaves the door open, but it makes it shuts down any potential “reconciliation” or “overseas role” deals he may be negotiating right now. They seem to confirm Harry’s version of the last meeting, which I don’t think is a good idea. It confirms he is still invited to the Coronation and emphasizes that Charles “adores” him and the rift may be healed “in the fullness of time.” No mention of Meghan whatsoever, which is interesting.

Though she claimed that Charles will be 'devastated' by Harry's charges, Ms Wyatt said that the King 'will forgive his son anything' because he feels responsible 'for the way he's turned out'.

From Plant again, copied and pasted in full, because supposedly you have to have a Tumblr account to access her account --- her reply to a question asking how much of the memoir is fiction:
-----

Oh, like 90% of it. He flat out tells you at the beginning of the book that his memory is Swiss cheese and he has been living in a drug-induced dissociative state (with frequent hallucinatory and delusional episodes!) since his mum died when he was 12 years old. Plus the paranoia is evident.

I’m surprised that anyone is treating him as a reliable narrator about anything. He admits most of his childhood memories—like the funeral, South Africa trip and the Xbox—are based on tabloid accounts. He just picks which tabloid stories he likes and which ones he dislikes and chooses to remember the ones he likes.

The book is fascinating in that it’s the story of someone who was raised in a panopticon with few close/intimate relationships (basically just an eccentric father, an absentee brother, and employees who were just doing their job) and essentially crafted a personal narrative and an identity based on the feedback he was getting from the people surveilling him. Before Meghan, that identity was mostly negative—the naughty one, Spare, Prince Dunce, etc… Meghan, however, allowed him to change that identity and narrative, at least for a while. That’s why he ends the book with her quote. “This a MAN, this is no Spare.”

But the new identity and narrative is just as fake as the old one. As other anons have noted, he wasn’t actually there during Meghan’s supposed traumas. He’s on the phone, or he’s in England, or she’s out shopping. She just collapses into a teary puddle as soon as he arrives, so he can “save” her. He’s not protecting her from an evil press because that evil press doesn’t exist. He’s not defending her from Charles’ leaks or Camilla’s machinations because those don’t exist either. They are mirages, just like Ghost Leopard Diana and the singing seals. He essentially lives in a self-created magic reality world

(cont. in next post ...)

Sandie said…
The rest from Plant:

That’s why the Taliban are chess pieces, the paps are Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and the aides are wasps, flies, and bees. That’s also why Meghan is a faery silkie princess sent by Diana who the seals sing it to. He lives in a fantasy world BY HIS OWN admission. He documents the whole thing, thoroughly. ALL OF IT is fake. Well, Kate may actually own lip gloss and Charles probably does love Shakespeare and Classical music, but you really have to discern which details are true and which ones are just flat out fantasy.

And he believes the whole thing. He doesn’t think he’s lying. He believes the Whole Food shoppers swarmed around Meghan like hungry hyenas. He believes he shopped at the TJ Maxx annual sale that never existed. He believes they booked Thomas an Air New Zealand flight that never was. He believes Di got him an XBox years before it was released. He believes he was at Eton when the Queen Mum died.

But it’s all a fantasy. It’s not exactly a lie because he believes it wholeheartedly, but it’s still not real. And the weirdest part is that he thinks that WE are the delusional ones. WE are the ones living in the “tabloid reality.” His mission is to destroy the British Press and the tabloid reality they have created and have his own reality reign supreme. It’s wild.

Putting aside the outrageously delightful travel plan, of course your main point is sobering and I suspect nails the truth: that MM lied to H saying she had arranged round trip first class flights for Thomas Markle, and asking H for hefty reimbursement for the imaginary flights. Various hints from various sources imply this is a big way she lines her pockets.

This grifter Meghan is beneath contempt. And Harry is so lacking in all meaningful ways that he has helped her to build and stoke this evil bonfire that just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We, the general public see the fire and keep trying unsuccessfully to stamp it out, rushing to stamp out sparks here and there, throwing hot tea occasionally to douse a firebrand or two of their unbelievable ballsy lies, but:

I am sceptical about the rumours spreading of badly ill treating women.

The royal family cannot control the media so they are not keeping anything out of the press. The media are not reporting because they do not have the story.

Virginia Guiffre went to the media, repeatedly and in increasing graphic detail, and then had to go to the courts to get the royal family to pay her off. But even then, despite paying her millions, they were only able to silence her for long enough to get through the Queen's Jubilee and her funeral ... maybe their bribe will keep her quiet until after the coronation.

The royal family would not risk trying to keep something quiet about hapless with a bribe. Hapless would deny and they would believe him and simply not give in to an attempt to bribe. Or they would immediately hand over any information to Scotland Yard.

Besides, the only reason why the alleged women would go to the royal family and not the media or courts would be to extract millions in a bribe directly from them. Another reason could be that they know the duo run to lawyers to sue at the drop of a hat but the family do not, so rather try to bribe the royal family.

Of course, I am doubting myself and maybe Scotlad Yard are quietly investigating and lawyers are considering what options the family have. But, the more people involved in a conspiracy, the more likely leaks are.

What else could Lady C be hinting at? I think accepting freebies, which was clearly against published policy, was just one of many serious transgressions. Maybe the King has asked for a forensic audit of all spending and uncovering loads of financial shennanigans.

allegedly, a new incident of violence occurred in California, and the BRF refused to help. This is why the ginger bastard is so incensed on revenge.

Tom Bower on GB talking about Doria and her drug using and drug dealing. Supposedly the video has been pulled from YouTube.

Does anyone know anything about this?
Is it possible that the mrs got Harry truly before he knew she has a black mother? After all he is the only known racist in the Royal Family. Something the Behavior Panel had tonight.

@snarky,yes, a couple in the USA conceived and gave birth to a child for the express purpose of giving body parts and body fluids to an older siblings. There was a movie made about this.

However, I think they had to use IVF to make sure that the second child matched the blood type of the first.

https://abcnews.go.com/WN/Health/story?id=3826596&page=1

Here is a news story about three children created to help save an older sibling. Two were victims of Fanconi anemia; the children were saved by placental blood from their newborn siblings.

The third was from a bone marrow transplant for leukemia. The child was conceived naturally; there were no other bone marrow donors that were suitable. Fortunately, or miraculously, the infant was a suitable match and was a donor at 14 months. The older sibling was saved.

People can cryopreserve cord blood of their infants as an insurance policy, albeit a pricey one that has to be renewed yearly to keep the blood frozen.

Am I the only one with a copy of the book?

I guess I'll be reading fast and furiously in the next couple of days (I hope). I hit a few pages and saw something about how she collapsed on the floor. Think I may have to track how often that happens (I've never collapsed on the floor. I have fallen asleep on a couch more than once).

Descriptions of the paps (just after they became a public item) makes them all sound thug-like, "...shady-looking. Wolfish." and lots of stories about how useless the police where (she was a public person and the paps had the right to bother her neighbors by even offering to pay money to mount a live stream camera on a neighbor's roof - has that person surfaced?), film her at exiting the grocery story (has any of that video ever surfaced from 4 people? at the time it would have been kind of valuable maybe?) and that's just like two pages.

Sandie the rumors surfaced and then died down. if any element of truth and Charles is not getting his coronation it would be a bigger scandal for him. i prefer a nice financial scandal, surrogacy scandal cleaner tidier and plausible deniability for the brf (we dont comment on family uteruses )

why am i sending a temporary gone girl thing with the flooding. haven’t heard a word about her or the “kids” and harold prefers to talk to i mean about himself than about what is going on out there.

This is unbelievable but I just verified it is true:

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex" wrote a five star review of SPARE on amazon.co.uk; it is the first review that appears and is a verified purchase.

Top reviews from United Kingdom

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional human story with unprecedented insight

The searing image of Prince Harry and his brother Prince William walking behind their mother’s coffin is etched in all of our minds. And what I notice throughout is the most seismic event of Harry’s life, when he tragically lost his mother at the age of 12, which shapes the book. There are some interesting (sometimes funny) anecdotes about his royal life when he was younger, but threaded across the pages are also incredibly raw and emotional moments. What is also conveyed very deeply is the pitiful life of “the Spare” - often feeling as though your life has no value, no ultimate mission/goal, you have nothing to offer because you will never wear the Crown. As Prince Harry himself says, when his whole life has been told through the lens of the media, why should he not be able to (finally) tell his own story from the man who lived it! It is undeniably depressing that Harry and Meghan felt they couldn’t continue in their royal roles. They could have been a huge force for good, supporting communities in the UK and the Commonwealth, representing a true Modern Monarchy with their enviable platform and privilege. Leaked excerpts of The Duke’s memoirs don’t do his story justice. The book as a whole is a must read! Highly recommend :)

OCGal said: in the macro: is anyone in authority going to finally, once and for all, put the growing raging destructive bonfire out? I hope so. But who? How? When?

Which authorities are you speaking of? Governor Newsome should deploy the California National Guard or the California Highway Patrol and take him into custody? They've got far more severe problems than Harry. Once the rain dries, there will be greenery sprouting up everywhere which will turn into summer wildfires when drought arrives in the desert. But, like mudslide season, wildfire season will arrive as a big surprise and will be blamed on global warming or climate change.

It can't be Parliament or King Charles III. They have no authority here. The ultimate authority is the individual that refuses to purchase the products, watch the interviews, or donate to any 'charities' that pay them to speak.

I think he messed up on the killing Taliban claim. I'd be very surprised if any of his commanders/NCOs let him near a loaded firearm.

...and yes, referring to Amazon.co.uk SPARE reviewers calling themselves "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex," I am aware it could be a nom de plume of a sugar, but I suspect it is Meghan or her cowed staffers writing. The reviewers have only ever done four reviews, and one of those was a glowing five star review of The Bench.

Lol, I was just thinking that. I mean, who collapses on the floor in tears!! Unless you live in Ukraine or something happens to your children no one collapses on their floor in tears. It's ridiculous.

I really can't stomach them any longer.

@SwampWoman, in reference to my cry of lament "is anyone in authority going to finally, once and for all, put the growing raging destructive bonfire out?"

You are right, so I shall have to hope and pray for Deus ex machina to sort them once and for all.

ROFL, I'm not contributing to their plastic surgery and hair transplant fund! You are a much more compassionate person than I am.

I haven't collapsed on the floor, either. Hard things, floors. I'd rather collapse in a recliner. Then I'd take a nap (grin).

I am looking forward to your take on whether, from 'his' writing, you think he's ever been 'in love' with his wife. I think he's incapable of that emotion.

@abbyh, you have undertaken a daunting task to try to slog through SPARE.

I would admire you and cheer you on if you were reading anything else, but I must hereby send you a care package of my sympathy, eyewash, antacid, a vomit bag, and two voodoo dolls replete with pins.

If the book gets to be too much for you, throw it aside and admit you are only human. If you continue to punish yourself by reading, you might actually follow Meghan's lead and (allegedly) collapse on the floor in floods of tears.

Steady on.

A review of H's book? Already? I thought the book was 416 pages long. You'd have to be a very fast reader. I checked the readings: 76% have it 5 stars on amazon.co.uk and 82% on Amazon.com. Not believable or else a lot of people are very gullible.
@OCGal,

I saw the review on Amazon this morning! That reviewer also did one for The Bench too! Only two other reviews which they’ve done, and they are not books! Seems like a PR puff piece to me. 😂

Plus how can someone give a full review on the day of release…no one can read that fast. 😬

Whole Foods whole truth

The scene: a room in Nottingham Cottage.

Meg is half sitting, half lying on the floor, sniffling. Harry comes in.
H: Megs, Megs, darling, what’s happening?
M: (stifling a sob) boo hoo hoo... I... I (gulps)...
H: Megsy, pet, what’s wrong? (Gives M a tissue). Are you hurt?
M: I... I... (sniffles) I went... to Whole Foods.
H: Yes, great. What did you get?
M: I... (sobs) nothing
H: Nothing? But I gave you a few hundred pounds
M: But... but... it was so horrible! I hate London! I hate this country! (shaking)
H: I do too but why?
M: They knew who I was (cries). I know I’m so famous. I was followed. People took photos (sobbing). Boo hoo hoo... You know how I hate being photographed.
H: Darling, I know. It’s painful.
M: I feel persecuted, like your dear mom.
H: I feel your pain. There, there, have another tissue.
M: Oh, darling, you’re so nice to me (sniffles). I had to run out of the store. I’m sorry, we have nothing to eat.
H: It’s all right. Will and Kate said to pop in any time, we’ll ask Kate to rustle up something.

@Swamp Woman, LOL, I can think of a few ways, & I bet you can as well. Perhaps KCIII should just tell Hazmat if he doesn't pipe down, he's never, ever coming back, no way, no how. He will be spending the rest of his days with his beloved wife, & forget about Charles or Wills ever dipping into the Duchy of Cornwall or Duchy of Lancaster money for the Montecito branch. Control of the purse is a big stick & big carrot to wave around.

If Britain suffers another terrorist attack in the next few years, KCIII isn't going to viewed kindly by his subjects, not to mention the target Hazmat has painted on the backs of all the other members of the RF with his wild claims of derring-do in Afghanistan.

As a NATO partner, & longtime ally of the UK, the USA could be targeted as well. Air travel is unpleasant as it is, Hazmat has just made it worse than no legroom. What a brilliant guy!
Apparently, he likens himself to Lenny in Steinbecks `Mice and Men' (`tell me about the rabbits, George') but this doesn't seem to have been picked up on. Did * sneak it in?

I've been wondering why no one has given significance to that weird Of Mice and Men section of his book. He compared himself to the slow witted man who killed animals and a woman because he didn't know his own strength.

It's said on this Twitter thread that nobody recognises the reference because M&M has been removed from the curriculum as it contains the N-word.

The title refers to lines by Robert Burns `

"The best laid schemes o' mice an' men Gang aft agley,"
` This is the quote that Steinbeck uses to show that no matter how much we (as men) plan an(d) scheme the chance of them happening is no more of a mices (sic) plans...' (Contributor to Allpoetry)

Or, put into 1950's English vernacular:

`The best laid plans of mice and men
Go up the spout every now and again'

If you don't know the book (you have to be on the old side to have come across it, I think) there's a synopsis in Wikipedia)
Sandie,

It looks as if it's the other way around (allegedly). It's said to be recent & to have happened in US.

It hasn't been publicised because * is keeping the lid on it in her own way - threats via a lawyer.

H reportedly went to BP for `help', ie a cover-up, but was told `Sorry, Chum. Nothing to do with us. You're a big boy now - deal with it yourself' , or wtte. Why should they publicise it?

Very shocking how the book turned out.

More than likely we all will. Pakistan is in a financial meltdown and the only thing they have that can bring in big $$$ is nuclear weapons for sale to the highest bidder. I throw that out there all casually just in case you needed something else to worry about (grin).

Our open southern border is a huge threat. Over 100,000 per year are being killed by fentanyl overdoses trafficked across the open southern border. It would be hard for foreign terrorists to kill more Americans than the Federal government has with its open borders policies. The DEA has seized enough Fentanyl to kill every person in America plus about 50 million more. There is probably even more than that floating around inside the country. https://news.yahoo.com/dea-nearly-400-million-deadly-205041613.html

I finally watched Dan Wootton’s interview with Tom Bower (which is still accessible via Anonymous Houseplant Fan—apparently it’s been removed from YouTube.) I love Tom Bower and wish he had his own podcast so I could listen to his thoughts on the Spare debacle over the weeks and months to come.

It was interesting to hear him say that he can’t comment on Doria’s 10-year absence from Meghan’s life for legal reasons. That indicates that she wasn’t exactly living her best life during that decade. And to finally have a respected journalist declare that Harold “has been a drug addict for 25 years”—Bower doesn’t ignore the elephant in the room, that’s for certain. He signed off by calling the ginger prince “dim, deranged and dangerous.”

Wootton claimed that he has it on good authority that * told the ghostwriter what to say in the book, and made copious notes in the manuscript as it was being developed.

Reportedly our favorite couple are in British Columbia with their children, and rented an entire sledding hill for themselves. Bet that was popular with the locals and tourists taking their winter break.

Prince William was 'seething' with rage as he accused his father and Camilla of 'planting' stories about him and his family in the press, brother Harry's memoir claims

• Harry claims William acknowledged Charles and Camilla were 'planting stories'
• In his memoir Spare, he writes that Prince William called him 'seething with rage'
• He claims William believed their father's team planted stories about he and Kate
• Harry blames member of his father's press team for 'peddling' fake stories
• In the memoir, he alleges this was done to help boost Camilla's reputation

Prince William rowed with his father and step-mother after accusing them of 'planting' stories in the media about himself and his family, Harry claims.

The prince says he took a call in April 2019 from his brother who was 'seething' with rage.

'Something had happened between him and Pa and Camilla. I couldn't get the whole story, he was talking too fast, and was way too upset,' Harry writes in his memoir, Spare.
'I gathered that Pa and Camilla's people had planted a story or stories about him and Kate and the kids, and he wasn't going to take it any more.
'Give Pa and Camilla an inch, he said, and they take a mile. They've done this to me for the last time.
'I got it. They'd done the same to me and Meg as well.'

The duke does not specify what story William was allegedly talking about.
But Harry blames a 'gung-ho' member of his father's press office for 'peddling' fake or unflattering stories as part of a 'campaign' of getting good press for the now King and Queen Consort, at the expense of other family members.

He also blamed the same person, whom he doesn't name but describes as a woman, of leaking that he, Harry, had gone on a hunting trip to Germany in 2017 that 'made me out to be some fat-bottomed seventeenth-century baron who craved blood in trophies'.
In fact - he says - he had been 'working with German farmers to cull wild boar and save their crops'.

Harry goes so far as to claim his German story was 'swapped' for 'better access' to his father and suppressing stories about a member of Camilla's family.
He even claims he had 'proof' from reporters inside 'actual newsrooms' that he and his brother were being sold out.

Is This the REAL THING THIS TIME? or is this just stringing people along?

Recently there was (yet another) post somewhere out in the world about how they will soon divorce.  And my first thought was: Haven't I heard this before?  which moved quickly to: how many times have I heard this (through the years)? There were a number of questions raised which ... I don't know.  I'm not a lawyer.  One of the points which has been raised is that KC would somehow be shelling out beaucoup money to get her to go "away".  That he has all this money stashed away and can pull it out at a moment's notice.  But does he? He inherited a lot of "stuff" from his mother but ... isn't it a lot of tangible stuff like properties? and with that staff to maintain it and insurance.  Inside said properties is art, antique furniture and other "old stuff" which may be valuable" but ... that kind of thing is subject to the whims and bank accounts of the rarified people who may be interested in it (which is not most of us in terms of bei

A Quiet Interlude

Not much appears to be going on. Living Legends came and went without fanfare ... what's the next event?   Super Bowl - Sunday February 11th?  Oscar's - March 10th?   In the mean time, some things are still rolling along in various starts and stops like Samantha's law suit. Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

Christmas is Coming

The recent post which does mention that the information is speculative and the response got me thinking. It was the one about having them be present at Christmas but must produce the kids. Interesting thought, isn't it? Would they show?  What would we see?  Would there now be photos from the rota?   We often hear of just some rando meeting of rando strangers.  It's odd, isn't it that random strangers just happen to recognize her/them and they have a whole conversation.  Most recently it was from some stranger who raved in some video (link not supplied in the article) that they met and talked and listened to HW talk about her daughter.  There was the requisite comment about HW of how she is/was so kind).  If people are kind, does the world need strangers to tell us (are we that kind of stupid?) or can we come to that conclusion by seeing their kindness in action?  Service. They seem to always be talking about their kids, parenthood and yet, they never seem to have the kids
