But then again, there have been rumors in the past have faded away after nothing more appeared to come of it at that time.

Brilliant analysis of the book 'Meet Me at the Lake' by Shauna of The Vintage Read.
The main character of the book is TBW, but with short blonde hair (not what is depicted on the cover). The male romantic lead is nothing like hazbeen but like Cory Vittello (sp?). There is nothing Diana about the story or the characters either. It is ALL her, almost as if she was the inspiration for the character and story.
The book is basically a Hallmark romance. Why is Netflix making it?
TBW was with Trevor for years. She knew how to act as if she knows about producing because she simply imitates Trevor, but she cannot deliver, not without the help of dozens of unneccessary people and Netflix wresting control from her. (Same with Spotify.) Netflix was fooled and thought they could cash in on the royal/Diana connection, and the myth of the most popular, beloved, fashionable, smartest, global humanitarian, ultra feminist ... royal ever.
Remember in that video of her talking to students in Ukraine? She said that act super confident and as if you know what you are talking about, and you will get the deal. She basically admitted to being a con artist!
I wonder if her husband is still fooled? Every idea he had for Spotify was rejected yet he is the one who brings in the money. Geez Joe Rogan has the most successful podcast ever and he does the podcast 5 or 6 times a week with the assistance of ONE person. No one held his hand and told him how to make a podcast. In the UK, Memorial services, as distinct from funerals, are usually held for one of two specific purposes:
- either the family cannot bear the thought of having a big event so soon after a death. They may be too distressed to put on a brave face in public and want everything to be as minimal as possible, or there are tensions within the family which are likely to erupt when they feel least able to deal with it.
- or it has not been possible for all those wishing to pay their respects to attend the funeral.
Perhaps the deceased lived a good distance from their place of work where their associates were. Or there was For example, I knew someone who had been quite something in the City of London. He died at home, almost 200 miles away, too far for City folk to attend without taking a whole day for it and, in any case the parish church was was filled by the family and local people who knew him.
Those who really need time to remember and reflect are those who were at the very centre of things, the Royal Family, forced to experience it very publicly in a family storm raging around them.
Yet the causes of that turmoil are the very ones screaming because they haven't been invited to join them at this non-existent event. I spit on them.
It seems that all the late Queen's children, grandchildren and great-children will be at Balmoral this summer, except the Montecito residents. William and Catherine will lead the nation in remembering the late Queen while the King spends time in quiet reflection at Balmoral.
Can we expect attention-seeking shenanigans from Montecito (their IG appearances officially start the day after the anniversary of the Late Queen's passing I think). I've found reports about the `memorial' confusing. A number imply that there will be a specific event to commemorate the Queen ie a `memorial service'. My understanding is that H had a standing invitation to join the other Royals at Balmoral at some point during their sojourn there (sans *) as in previous years, but not necessarily for Sept 8th. Instead, Royals will each spend the day as they feel appropriate for them - hence perhaps an address from the Prince of Wales and HM on a private retreat.
Is it another event like the formal reception at BH to which they claimed they were `disinvited', despite not having been invited anyway. Perhaps they'll do a bit of faux-royalling in the US on the 11th instead?

This little lad was so cruelly abused by his parents that he had to have both legs amputated when he was 3. By adult standards, Orrest Head is a small fell (784ft/224m above sea level) but for a child it's huge. What do you think? He has posted a video for IG. He rambles and repeats himself, but it comes across as positive to me.
I am intrigued by the books and objects on the shelves behind him. Where was this filmed? In the past, she used coffee table books as a decor statement. But none of the books I can identify are connected to him or IG in any way, and those ornaments do not seem to be her (or his) style at all.
A very long article, but, to me, he does seem happier, being back doing what he did as a royal (without the formality and the conflict generated by his wife). I suspect that any forays she makes into his 'territory' will be carefully managed and contained, but she may revert to old behavior at the IG and dominate all the attention.

I don't believe that ILBW has (a) friends, or (b) went to Taylor Swift's concert.
In mid April, my doc had a come-to-Jesus meeting with me about my blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and creeping weight gain. All the previous times I'd blown him off but, this time, I decided it was go time. I cut out sugar in its various forms. No high-carb veggies. The fruit smoothies had to go. No more meeting the friends at the coffee shops for Mexican coffees or Cuban coffees and pastelitos and pictures of grandkids on phones.
Six weeks later, I had a followup doc visit for the labile (and high) blood pressures. I was down 15 lbs., probably mostly from eating less inflammatory (for me) foods. I got an excited congratulations on my extraordinarily successful weight loss. I told the doc that I figured it was mostly from reduction of inflammation with the reduction of sugar intake. Doc told me that my extreme sugar avoidance was probably not sustainable long term, and recommended that I at least try some of the sugar-free flavors for the coffees that I loved. I pointed out that I had learned to savor the various roast coffee flavors that sugar masked. I think it will be better for me to avoid sweeteners of all kinds which keeps the sugar cravings alive.
I had some painful stomach issues and had an upper endoscopy done. It revealed that my stomach was extremely inflamed. I noted that I had thought at one time that I had celiac disease but tests showed that I did not. However, if I am not extremely careful about watching for all the hidden forms of gluten (like flour in scrambled eggs or an omelette to make them 'fluffier' at restaurants), I felt like my stomach and intestines were on fire. Apparently I had not been sufficiently vigilant. I was tested for H. pylori because there were old, scarred ulcerated areas as well as some active ulcers. Negative, retested for celiac disease, negative. But, since I've been avoiding anything that could possibly contain gluten, I've been fine. Some people are very sensitive to the glysophate that the crops are sprayed with to kill weeds (Round-Up Ready). I may be one of those people.
I had a colonoscopy to look for signs of IBD and Crohn's disease. I noticed that I hadn't felt hungry or deprived (because I had to drink so much water). I keep a full Yeti cup of ice water nearby at all times now. A lot of my 'hunger' was probably actually thirst or boredom.
It has been almost four months since my doc and I had the "Come to Jesus Meeting" about my health, BP, and weight gain. I've gone from elastic waist pants to my zippered and buttoned "skinny" jeans. Grandkids' small grandpup started tugging at my pants leg and my jeans started to slide down! Yep, they'll slide right over my hips now. I weighed myself and found that I was now down 40 lbs. I can look down and see my toes.
Doc said that IF I increased my physical activity, I would increase my weight loss. He had it exactly backwards. AS my weight fell, I naturally increase my activity. I used to be a pacer; I could not sit still but had to be in movement when thinking. (Hello, ADD!) I've noticed that I'm pacing again. I'm still keeping a daily log of activity and my walking around doing stuff outside has gradually increased from about 2.5 miles to 3.5 miles per day to between 4.5 and 5.5 miles per day with no extra effort on my part. It isn't because of the great weather, LOL. We've had heat advisories advising us old folks to stay inside because the temperatures have been in the high 90s with 'feels like' temperatures of 118 F, (48C). I think it is because as my joint inflammation is decreasing, my stride length is increasing, and I'm covering more distance in the same amount of time.
I feel like I've turned the clock back a decade in terms of my energy levels and physical fitness.
Oh, I forgot to mention that we had the newest iteration of COVID last week, too, while we were caring for three grandkids. The medication that I've used all along to cut the severity of the symptoms and the duration of the disease still works great (grin). My poor long-suffering (or, more accurately, loudly-suffering) spouse was complaining to me this morning that he felt just terrible and his nose was all stuffy, as was his head. I pointed out that he had the house at roughly the same temperature as the alps in the summer and the low humidity level inside would probably mummify us by morning if we died in our sleep. I told him to go outside into the sauna that is the Florida summer, and he'd feel better. He grumbled mightily. When he came back inside, I asked him how he felt. He said that he felt better, and he didn't want to hear another thing about it. Grin.
All of the grandkids are back in school as of today. Husband and I have not had one day to ourselves since the end of May. We're not even talking to each other; we're just savoring the sound of silence. In a few days we'll be all sad at the silence, but today is not that day!

Even though KC appears to be a sensitive soul, I think that once a decision is made that he doesn't look back/stew about it any longer, and can be cold about the implementation.
I like that phrase--'decisions must not make noise'. Real deciders set a course and then DO it without fanfare; the exact opposite of how the Harkles operate. They are all sturm and drang signifying nothing. They clang on about what they are 'planning' to do at some misty point in the distant future that never arrives. They are all talk, no 'do'.
Charles and the whole family have obviously been through the ringer with Harry for decades. He's never been an easy kid, even as a baby. I do think that decisions were made, unequivocal decisions, and far earlier than we'd ever been told, that the Harkles' own actions put them firmly OUT of the circle, forever. Shortly after the Megxit summit at Sandringham, do we not recall Harry complaining bitterly to some journalist that "My father has cut me off". But--according to the couple's own concurrent, insistent PR, they were merely taking a gap year. There was a '12 month review' in place, they said, during which time they would continue to be supported by Charles, if not by their portion of the Sovereign grant, which was negligible.
Ah, cracks in the facade of lies from the beginning. There never was any 12-month review while the ATM of Dad continued to shell out for their lifestyle in California. Wild speculations that Charles had bought the Montecito mansion as an investment and potential future divorce settlement on the Dookess . . months of the world media calling Charles a pushover for continuing to give Harry money and keeping the door open.
Yet--out of the other side of Harry's face he complained that his father was unreachable through any means of communication. Seems he'd been 'cut off' in every conceivable way.
Charles is an emotional man, but he is also a Scorpio. They never forget a wrong and they can be vengeful, in their minds justifiably so. Sting a Scorpion and he will sting you back, giving better than he got. CRIII's traitor toerag son has disrespected Camilla in the most public ways possible and also given great grief to William's family, particularly to Catherine and to Lottie, whom Charles dotes on. He would regretfully but decisively sacrifice his troublesome element to protect them.
The increasingly desperate and escalating PR stunts reek of the Harkles' failure to get anything they bragged so confidently post-Megxit would be coming their way. I don't think Charles is going to be backing down, and I fear for Harry's future--specifically how long that future is going to last. But ultimately he has done this to himself. Bad karma finds the deserving.

Maui has always had drought during the summer months. As it has reduced land given to agriculture, it no longer has the infrastructure to deal with fires like the most recent one; no roads, water supplies or expertise. Ironically, burning dead sugar cane fields used to be an ordinary occurrence which didn't result in catastrophic destruction. Climate change may also have been a factor, but former pineapple & cane fields are now covered with dry & highly flammable grasses. The little island of Maui didn't have the thousands of firefighters & equipment needed to put out this fire. Hurricane Dora didn't help. In the past, the plantations would never have lit fires in such conditions.
Enough off topic. I doubt ILBW will be visiting Maui for any reason. No 5-star accommodation on Maui for now, & air travel, private or public is restricted. She might issue a press release saying she has been there, as she did with the Taylor Swift concert, but no photos to confirm.

... I think the jubliee went over like a lead balloon in their household. I think this is where the fighting hit a point where it was hard to come back from. At the time they were filming for their reality show (which no one knew a premier date for). And there were a tone of rumors about spotify and what meghan would do on her own.(given that up until that point meghan hadn't pulled in any deals on her own) At that time she was pumping out articles about the balcony and photo with the late Queen. Behinds the scenes I think there were a number of internal discussions about Netflix being uphappy with the footage filmed so the pressure was on to film at frogmore.
The reaction from the crowd leaving the church spooked them, they didn't want Netflix cameras in England any longer than they had to be. So they left, asap. The fighting got worse when they got home, all of the polo outings were awful. They didn't help rehab the image and didn't exude the glamour they needed after a very sour UK trip. I think they likely made the decision to separate not to long after (around July). She interviewed with the cut, the pod tanks, the queen passes away and suddenly they are back in place they are no longer welcomed and now are outranked by his brother. That whole week it was easy for harry to fall back into his old ways but not meghan. The walk about for her was rough, she didn't let harry take the lead. At the time alot of people were speculating that it was super awkward, but I think meghan just didn't know how to support harry because by then they'd been taking time apart for 3-4 months. Meghan was focused on her own brand. As the rest of the world knows December and January were even worse. To the point where they enter survival mode for their own separate brands by saying they'll focusing on different things. Thus here we are..

But I suspect what really spooked them about the Jubilee was not getting a picture of the kids with The Queen and royals not attending Archie’s birthday. A lot of it was the lack of Netflix footage, as you say. But there was also the personal aspect, as these two had never faced the consequences of their actions. Even after Megxit, they lived in their tiny bubble where they thought they were the victims and the royals would eventually come around and offer the half-in-half-out option. Heck, even after Philip’s funeral Harry was still in denial. I bet the Jubilee was the first time Meghan realized exactly what their position was.

Anxiety is a real problem for some people. She may have been wearing that patch because she has a high level of anxiety about having dental work done (see, I am bring kind and giving her the benefit of doubt!). IMO, that patch may have some placebo effect, but it cannot address the root causes of anxiety, and for most people in most situations it is normal to feel some level of anxiety ... it is only those who experience severe anxiety that actually have a problem. But perhaps it is better to put an expensive patch on your wrist than to swallow handfuls of pills.

Re the Invictus games, the article you quote says H is '"expected" in Düsseldorf, the organisers "assume"..., in addition the organisers "assume" that wife M will be in Düsseldorf etc. Lots of guesswork, therefore we don't really know at this stage. She doesn't care about the games but if it can get her name in the papers, she might attend.

There's not much about his background but if you Google NuCalm the words hoax and scam come up - not saying it's a hoax/scam but people are sceptical.
The NYP has an article about it that doesn't seem to inspire confidence. The few comments are very sceptical at best. If * is stressed,then why doesn't she listen to calm, relaxing music. This is the tale of two Instagram posts, two posts put out within about 36-hours of one another and which exquisitely capture the wildly divergent paths that the lives of Prince William, Destroyer of Dog Bowls and Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, Feeler of So Many Feelings, have taken.
The first post came via ‘a bit of alright’ Nacho Figueras’ Instagram account, the polo professional having spent last week travelling with Harry. First, the pals landed in Tokyo for a sports summit before heading to Singapore where they took part in a charity polo tournament.
While the world was quietly trying to get used to the new Harry on display in Asia, the smile upon whose face could not be wiped off, Figueras was keeping the world up to date with this lads gone mild tour.
There was the shot of them wearing aviators captioned “Shopping for our wives” in co-ordinating Dad-core polo T-shirts which probably sent the duke’s wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex into a lather that he would bring her home some low-rent dreck.
Then came an Instagram story, via Figueras, of the duo playing foosball, captioned “First game to H, despite his squeaky performance! Now we ride …” like they were off to Bosworth Field and not just to entertain wealthy Singaporeans sucking down cocktails.
All unremarkable, lame stuff.
If only 9,500 kilometres away the Kensington Palace social media team had not been hard at, managing to show up Aitch’s mini-tour up.
On Friday, Buckingham Palace announced the redistribution of 21 military appointments, many that had been previously held by Her late Majesty, with the honorary roles being dished out like Smarties to the remaining tiny clutch of working HRHs.
William and Kate picked up six new roles between them, something that their team then hyped up on social media by putting out a video that felt like a sizzle reel for Top Gun 3. There was the throbbing base; the lingering, sexy shots of helicopter rotor blades; the montage of images of a pleasingly diverse range of British service men and women defending the Motherland.
It might have looked more like a bit of marketing fluff put out by the military industrial complex or someone who sells toilet seats to the Pentagon but gee whizzikers, it’s an effective bit of self-promotion. (Don’t just take my word for it – it was viewed more than 2.4 million times over the weekend.)
We can only assume that the Ancient Greek god Momus, god of irony among other things, has been hard at work here. The contrast between these two social media outings could not be more sadly exquisite.
In one we have a man who managed to jettison his official standing and cashed in the import of his former working royal life to occasionally carpool with Ellen (I’m guessing) and the other who is looking more and more like a Sun King in the making.
Or to put it another way, Harry, who served two tours on the frontline of Afghanistan, is now trying to reclaim his lost lad-dom while on a jaunty mini-break while his “arch-nemesises” William and Kate, the woman who may or may not have made Meghan cry, are being given prestigious roles like sweeties.
It looks nearly like the life that Harry wanted – where “service is universal” and he can spend all-day, everyday supporting the armed services – has somehow ended up going to his estranged brother, while he is left creating daggy influencer content with a former Ralph Lauren model.
It’s hard to imagine that this is the life the duke envisioned back in late 2019 and the first days of 2020 when he and Meghan were sketching out their plans for a brave new Sussex world.
Rather than touring military bases and enthusiastically shaking the hands of the people who put their lives on the line for the safety of Britain, Harry’s day job is now trying to work out how to bring a romance novel to the screen to keep Netflix sweet.
The last week has seen Harry cast even further off into the outer-reaches of the royal universe, the Pluto of the princely pantheon.
While the 38-year-old was busy filling his suitcase with kewpie mayonnaise, the Buckingham Palace website was being updated, stripping the Sussexes’ HRHs from their entries, while also shunting them to nearly the bottom of the list. (Last place was reserved for disgraced human Humpty Dumpty Prince Andrew.)
The timing of all this – this digital defenestration happening right when Harry is returning to the spotlight after months of being tucked away behind the high walls and high dudgeon of the Sussexes’ Montecito compound – is curious.
According to a new report from the Daily Mail’s Richard Kay there has been no cooling of tempers or defraying of pique inside The Firm. He writes that “a visceral bitterness persists at the sustained attacks that Harry and Meghan have waged against family members through his memoir and their various television interviews.”
Meanwhile, next month will see Harry, this time his designer darling duchess by his side, pop over to Dusseldörf for the next Invictus Games. The timing means that the Sussexes will be in Europe only days after the first anniversary of his late grandmother, Elizabeth II’s death.
Could this be an opportunity for a bit of a hands across the water moment? Some sort of pragmatic decision made to invite the Sussexes to Balmoral to do some emotional patching up?
Absolutely not, according to reports which suggest that King Charles is still not particularly interested in getting that dusty Olive branch of his out of the cupboard.
Here comes a bit more of Momus’ handiwork. Because while Harry and Meghan are being blanked by Team Windsor and are in Germany, William and Kate will have just enjoyed seeing their star rise even higher. According to the Mirror, the Waleses are set to “lead the tributes” to Her late Majesty and will “deliver a public message honouring the life and legacy of the monarch. (Charles will reportedly spend the day privately at Balmoral, the same way that his mother religiously marked the passing of her father Georve VI annually at Sandringham where he died in 1952.)
Not only might the Prince and Princess of Wales be about to get starring roles but just to rub some Maldon salt into the Sussex wounds, a new Gallup poll last week found that Prince William was the most liked world leader, out of a choice of 15 contenders, according to Americans.
Next month, the heir to the throne will continue his accidental encroaching on Sussex territory when he arrives in New York for the Earthshot innovation summit.
To return to the two social media posts we started with here. Really the story they tell us is like some sort of Alice in Wonderland scenario- while Harry has shrunk his place in the world and transformed himself into a much reduced figure, William grows and grows in responsibility and Palace lustre.

I am completely sceptical about the patch, which at best may have a placebo effect for mild anxiety, which in itself is not a bad thing at all. Mild anxiety improves performance; severe anxiety has the opposite effect.

As your post confirms, the patch and the 'interpretation' are a load of crock! If she is stupid enough to believe in this stuff and needed some kind of crutch to deal with the anxiety caused by a dental visit, why did she call the paps, roll up her sleeve and lift her hand to tuck in a non-existent tendril? I think she was also trying to 'send the message' that she is 'not ok' - so very stressed and persecuted and not supported by husband having fun with his favourite, if only, friend on the other side of the planet ... and phone in hand because she is so busy.
I still do not think she was 'officially' merching, but is probably 'testing the waters' to prove her worth as an influencer for various brands. She can easily draw attention to a product, but can she increase sales?

Thanks for pointing out how much of that article is speculation. I think the media mostly creates its own speculation, but she thrives on it because it keeps attention on her and gives her fodder for her victimhood. I wonder if she has realised that getting lots of attention does not translate into the wealth to have her own private jet and endlessly buy awards? Talent, hard work and lots of good luck are required for that. I think she envies Oprah and believes she is vastly superior, but will never get close to the financial success Oprah has had.

A lab-created (a more precise term than 'lab grown', since minerals are not living things)diamond hasthe same physical, chemical, and optical properties as mined diamonds. I think he's insinuating that a lab diamond is the same as a cubic zirconia, which it's not. The chemical composition is not the same.
Carbon + heat + pressure + time results in a diamond, under the right conditions. The lab takes the same elements but speeds up the process. Naturally-sourced diamonds are more valuable because they are more rare, but chemically they are the same compound, just like farm-raised salmon and wild salmon are the same fish. Wild has more cachet because they are more elusive and it's the same with diamonds. I've seen some lovely lab-created diamonds on the Brilliant Earth website and I wouldn't turn my nose up at them. If one is willing to 'settle' for a man-made diamond, you can probably get a larger carat size since they are cheaper than natural diamonds They are also marketed as the more ethically and environmentally responsible option.

A diligent student, she withstood any number of humiliations by old toffs and learnt her material in record time, transforming herself into a lady on the exterior as well as a woman of substance on the interior.
The RF had to know that allowing H, another uneducable problematic, easily-led fragile narcissist with delusions of grandeur and zero work ethic to pair up with * was going to be an epic disaster. Let me summarise the video you can't access in the UK which I linked to above.
The narrator talks a lot about the Kardashians and how their mother taught them to "please a man". The video also mentions that Mama Kardashian seems to be a booking agent for the yacht girls.
The video shows some shots of the Kendall Jenner on a yacht with a lip reader who reads what she is saying. She says something like "My first two times were awful". And the narrator leads us to believe that she's referring to yachting experiences.
The video also mentions the Russian model Irina Shaik as having some knowledge of boats, as well as Meghan Markle. They mention * maybe 2 or 3 times. She is not the major topic of the video although they have some shots of her posing on a lounge chair on a yacht while they explain that such shots are advertisements for potential clients.
The video explains what yachting is all about, who does it, who the customers are, why they do it and what they stand to gain from it - both sides. They allege that even famous and well known actresses and models yacht because it allows them to network with very influential men and that sexual favours are not always required. The Cannes Film Festival is mentioned as being a big yachting event. Middle Eastern wealthy men figure prominently as clients.
There also seems to be a brand of mineral water, with the name 138 water where all of their ads and Instagram posts are pictures of women, not really the types of ads you would expect for such a company. The rumour is that these ads are a catalogue of the women available for yachting.
The fee for yachting is about 15-30k per event and the money seems to be paid up front.
That's all I can remember.
I don't know who would have complained about defamation, but there's a lot of potential slander issues with the video.

Your point about etiquette teaching at Immaculate Heart rang a bell for me. I once knew someone who'd come from a poor Irish family in mining/industrial County Durham (I'm talking about the conditions of 70-80 years ago, when coal was still king). She was bright and went to a convent school, perhaps on a scholarship. She told me one thing that stuck most clearly in her mind was being taught how to eat bread and butter properly. The nuns wisely pointed out that being well-educated would bring the girls into contact with those expecting a different standard of table manners from what then was current in her background.
Of course, such education would be unthinkable today.

It gets really funny at about 1:12 - when the interviewer asks her what she was doing 5 years ago, professionally. During this 2012 interview TW seems a little off guard, but starts to frantically claim various things - she claims that she got into the movie business 5 years ago (this would make it 2007), claiming that she had graduated college, and then worked at the Argentian embassy, then in 2007, she had 'just started acting' and 'probably would have gotten into politics' but that she was discovered at a party, and that 'a friend gave a man a student film she had made' and then got into the movies that way.
As we know now, this is not true, but it is an interesting study in the way that she creates a (fake) public persona. That she was on her way towards a flashy career as a politician and that she was just so amazing that she was 'spotted' at a party. Instead of the truth - 5 years before that interview (2007) she was a struggling actress / working as a briefcase girl, she had actually graduated nearly 10 years before (not five) and that from 2003 onwards - she was a desperate and largely unemployed actress for the best part of a decade, that a paid internship for a few weeks as part of her studies is not the same as working, that she was not involved in politics. Also, she seems to try to shave 5 years off her age.
Me-gain's father paid for her to work for 5 weeks at the embassy in 2002, during her studies, on a standard internship (many students do these). She then went back to college and graduated from college in mid-2003, and then spent years trying to get into acting.
She must have had a lot of time on her hands between mid 2003-2004, because the only acting credit I can find for this expanse of time is one tiny extra role in 2004. Typically an 'extra' role like this is one day of filming, and likely earned under $200. How she paid her bills in those early years is a mystery.
I cannot find any evidence that she was involved in politics, volunteered for a political party, helped with someone's campaign etc. or got involved in politics after she graduated from college.

I understand it. I will pore over the minutiae of the pros and cons of a decision and the repercussions. However, once I have decided on a course, I feel a great sense of relief and freedom. I saw that article in Express and wondered who the KP insider source is. First, I doubt that William and Catherine are fighting with each other or throwing cushions at each other in front of staff. They can be competitive with each other and have been together for decades, since they were young, so it is possible that in the distant past they chased each other around a room and threw cushions at each other in a 'play fight' and this American 'royal expert' heard this from someone and made a story out of it that is not true.

I often assume a story is true if it fits their characters but I also think that despite NDAs their home and work environment is not as protected as that of William and Catherine ... the people they hire (and lose) and their home and work settings are just not the same. But, staff have family and friends who may not be discreet ... that happens with everyone in the royal family.
I found this bizarre, because that is not how engagement rings are regarded in my country nor in the royal family. They are not costume jewellery but a sign of commitment. (That is why there is such significance to returning or not returning a ring/s after a broken engagement/marriage.)
I do find it odd that her engagement ring has not been seen for a long time and that she rarely wears her eternity ring (but did for the 'birthday' photo with her 'pals'), which he gave her after the birth of Archie.
Gosh, it seems that they have become toxic. The trailer for Invictus Games on Netflix got 10 000 dislikes and 2 000 likes then Netflix supposedly swithched off the like/dislike button. I think Netflix counts number of views as success and so they are probably not bothered that 10 000 dislike the trailer as long as they watched it, but the negatve responses may effect viewing figures for the full series. I wonder if there would have been so many negative responses if he had not been featured at all in the trailer, and if the negative responses would have multiplied if she had been featured.

There is also a funny article in the DM showing H’s official photo where he has thick, dark brownish-red hair on his head and comparing it to images of him at the polo match in Singapore (with his thinning, lighter hair.) He looks ridiculous in the photoshopped one.

* She lied, and made up the story about the 'something blue' sewed into her wedding dress that she revealed in the documentary (who knows where she got that fabric) because she thought it was a good story for the 'greatest love story ever'.
* He lied, and does not remember what she wore when they first met, but she wore jeans and stiletto heels often so that would be a good guess, or the entire book was a fabrication.
* They both lied about so much and have been inept in 'aligning their stories'. Everything both have said about the 'first date' is a lie.

England has not made a world soccer final since 1966, I understand, so I realize that for football supporters this is a huge deal. I think this is a case of William is damned if he did and damned if he didn’t. He’s on holiday with his family in Scotland I assume, and August is traditionally a month where the Royals don’t schedule engagements. There was no way of predicting of course that the ladies’ team would go so far. If this is a potentially once in a lifetime event, I can understand people expecting an exception to be made for such a special event. It’s not as if the royal family does not have the resources to send him. I might suppose that William consulted with his father about making this trip and it may have been decided that to travel so far to attend one soccer match that is not part of a previously existing royal tour calendar would be perceived as frivolous, nor to mention the carbon footprint. The royal machinery does not turn on a dime, owing to All the logistical and diplomatic concerns involved in foreign visits. So it would’ve been extremely difficult to spontaneously arrange some official royal engagements to go along with Williams attendance at this match. It might’ve been an opportunity to bring the whole family on vacation and provide some favorable PR in the form of family snaps… But royal calendars are planned out years in advance and do not accommodate such spontaneity. Being a patron of something like Invictus or the Paralympic games is different, because there is a very visible charitable element and their patrons can support athletes from many different countries. But when one is the figurehead of a British national team, the cultivated expectation of neutrality is rather impossible. A number of royal family members have competed in the Olympics with distinction, including Anne, Zara and King George VI when he was Duke of York. Having a royal be part of the national team feels different than having one be Patron, but there is always a whiff of Royal privilege. How can anyone be absolutely certain that royal status rather than pure ability influences such appointments to the team. I have no doubt that Anna and Zara are some of the best horse women England has ever produced, but they have had untold advantages in developing their skills.

I’m rather surprised he did not go, but we don’t know what else is going on behind the scenes. Although this is an official holiday period for the Royals, there may have been private receptions of dignitaries or investitures that required his presence. Maybe he felt unwell to make such a long trip and such a quick turnaround. Hard to say. In the last month, my workplace has had a full 15% of the staff out with Covid, the latest variant. If HRH had gotten Covid again they probably wouldn’t tell us because they didn’t tell us the first time until after he recovered. I recall that William blew off Peter Phillips’ wedding to attend a mate’s wedding in South Africa happening on the same day— incidentally the wedding of his former girlfriends brother, and that kind of raised eyebrows because I would’ve expected William to play a significant role in the wedding of his first cousin. We also recall that he ducked out of the glorious Sussex wedding festivities despite his best man role so that he could present the trophy to the men’s team for one of their tournaments. But his priorities may have shifted with his new elevation of duties. On balance it probably would’ve been a better PR move for him to go. The children are young yet for such a long trip, but if he brought Catherine with him, that would’ve been some good press. The Royals have had quite the ringer of a year, Considering everything. The first anniversary of the Queen’s passing is swiftly approaching and I wouldn’t blame them for being exhausted. Hopefully he will at least record a video message to support the ladies, whatever happens.

Just started season six last night and boy, have I seen some striking similarities between Rachel Zane and Meghan. But the one that made me pause the episode and write this little blogpost was in season six, episode three.
Without giving too much away, someone in school brought up a subject that is sensitive for Rachel, in front of the whole class, no less. Instead of just wanting a normal apology, Rachel strong-arms this woman into saying these words in front of the whole class,
"I'd like to apologize for saying what I said to Rachel Zane. I only did what I did because she's my intellectual and ethical superior. I'm ashamed of myself, and I forfeit this competition."
After hearing that, I'm almost certain that that's what she was looking to get from the Royal Family. Including writing the words to the apology herself, printing it out, and strong-arming them into saying it.

There's a video of Harry looking well and happy (he must have been away from the malevolent one) and his hair looks blonder at the front and push up, sort of slightly'spiky'. If it was a photo I'd say it was photoshopped - it does look thicker - but it's a video.
According to the DM, which also runs the same article, 'Staff are reportedly making plans for the 'peace talks' to take place on September 17, ahead of the King's trip to France on September 20, a source told OK!' If they're having peace talks - this might be mere speculation - then on no account should * attend. If true, I don't know what good these talks will do and Charles mustn't weaken.

The duo have been pushing for talks and negotiations and reconciliation for a while now, so I reckon that this is them. Of note is that TBW will be excluded from any meetings or talks, so I reckon he has recognized that she is an obstacle.
I see you posted that DM article as well. What do you think of it? Alarm bells are ringing in my head, especially as some of the language is the same as when they were pushing this agenda before the coronation.

Sorry to hear the Lionesses have lost to Spain. This is a strong team because they got close last year and even closer this year. Next year may be a third time lucky. So the smart thing to do is to clear William’s calendar now for next year’s final in preparation. If the England ladies make the final for a second year running, he needs to be in the stands next time. Under the circumstances, considering the timeframe, the length of the flight, the optics of economics and environmental concerns and the busy schedule of coming in the next few weeks, I think the hard but more practical decision was made this year to stay home. During the next season he should make the effort to attend some of the ladies’ games as a show of support, Whether or not they advance to the finals.
