I don't know Kirsty Grant but can imagine how the accent would grate. I looked her up and she looks young, hence the estuary accent. 'Easter' pronounced with the last vowel as an elongated /æ/ is cringe. I've heard worse, there are boys now speak with a certain accent - can't say more - which you probably don't hear in London. Former supermodel Gisele Bundchen has a puff piece in the WSJ today about her new cookbook. I strongly suspect manipulation of the accompanying photo, because I've never seen hydrangea plants mushed up behind thuja shrubs the way they are in the photo, which seems to be taken in front of some drab taupe toned college dorm or office park. Gisele herself is a vision in off-white and beige. Regardless of the background, it's still an attractive photo. Is this the look TW is going for? If it is, she's failing spectacularly. She needs to hire better photographers. Her Christmas cards, christening photos, pregnancy photos, etc. are awful. If you're going to manipulate images, at least do it better.

She has mentioned her language skills. I'd put them on a par with all the rest of her bragging. I heard her speak French when she was talking to schoolgirls in Morocco. The pronunciation was good but she was definitely not fluent and what she said was wrong - grammatically correct but not the phrase she should have used.
Not forgetting “genetic pain” when Knobhead meant “generational pain”.
To be fair, knob head was simply repeating what he’d been told to say. He does not willingly or naturally generate multisyllabic words on his own and we can tell that it’s from his wife because all of her efforts are addressed adjacent to the word she actually means, but none of these words are in Harry’s usage vocabulary I’m pretty sure. This was a guy who could not complete an art project without cheating. Frankly I actually marvel that he can read. I agree that TBW should not be critized for ARO because 'it is tacky to monetize her royal connection'. Fergie has done it for decades. airport issues some of which i can answer. so briefly we had status on American Airlines. we flew to Europe. Adding to my earlier ask about Meghan stealing clothes from a photoshoot.
Vanessa said that this was a recent photoshoot that meghan has done AFTER megxit. She did this is California, the photoshoot happened in santa Barbara and that it was for a news organization (as opposed to a magazine). It was NOT reitmanns. And that sources from from the organization and designer team have confirmed this to her sometime in the last month.
So, now we have 2 confirmed separate incidences, reitmanns and this recent one, where Meghan stole stuff. As in simply walked away with things that she wanted to keep after the photoshoot and never informed or asked.
Vanessa is legit. She has previously done a profile on Meghan for Tatler and The Cut. She also came on Andrew's podcast 2 years back and dropped some tea back then.
In that case, the options are Time Magazine (for the hairdresser photos), The Cut, and Variety. I’m leaning towards Variety because it’s the seminal Hollywood insider publication that someone like Meghan would obsess over. The Cut is too new media and doesn’t fit in with her 90s/00s dream of worldwide domination.
And note, this could explain why she hasn’t gotten any more photoshoots - everyone knows about her sticky fingers and no one wants to risk it. Fashion and media is a small world so those people are absolutely going to talk to each other about this. Even though it may take time, years even, for it to trickle out to the general public, people in the industry would learn about it pretty quickly.
It may also explain the difficulty she has in finding people to dress her for events and she has to resort to the off-the-rack bargain Hermes and Carolina Herrera. And if that’s what’s going on, it may explain her avoidance of the Hollywood awards season despite all the manifesting - the people she wants to wear won’t dress her.

My opinion ... this supposedly forensic analysis of photos has gotten out of hand. Most of the 'proof' people find is easily debunked, because most people do not realize how deceptive photography can be, without any manipulation. I have seen very little actual proof that is convincing.
However, this meltdown rage from Misan is completely out of line and so counter-productive. I end up wandering why TBW attracts men with rage issues who are zealously devoted to her. Okay, it is only two, but what are the chances?

Her aim is to be famous for simply being famous, or notorious, which is also acceptable. Either way she gets ego supply. RMM May as well be an AI-generated figment for all that she’s actually achieved, but so far it’s working. These empty promises and media launches of nothing are the means to her end of never-ending celebrity fuel. I'm torn between admiration for Catherine's poised and dignified courage, and disgust for the baying loons whose demands likely forced her to do this a bit earlier than she may have wished to.
So much sympathy for the RF. On another note, Catherine's illness has recently been striking younger adults in developed countries for some reason, the under 50s. The disease used be mostly the province of the elderly.

4 weeks later, on 27 February Prince William pulled out of Constantine’s memorial service at the last minute, citing “a personal matter”, supposedly with Charles’ blessing.
Today, 22 March, Catherine released her video apologia, stating that William’s absence at the memorial was precipitated by theme having only just received her diagnosis that morning. I’ve never had biopsy results, and I realize that they can take a while to come in. But I’m struggling to accept that the future queen of the United Kingdom had to wait 6 full weeks for the results of her biopsy. Surely they would’ve fast tracked her test at the highest level so that she could have her results before she was released from the hospital? So that leads me to wonder if Catherine’s results were not in fact known far earlier.
Possibly with grave concerns for the King, it was felt better to sit on the Princess’s results as long as possible. KP has precedent: When William contracted COVID shortly after both Charles and the PM had tested positive within days of each other, William did not issue a peep about his illness until many weeks after his recovery, citing the desire to not set off a panic over a crisis of leadership. Perhaps the same rationale was in play here.
God save His Majesty and the Princess of Wales. I imagine CR’s bind with his beloved daughter-in-law will be all the stronger now.
Your point is well taken, though, and she may have felt pressured into going in to this amount of detail because of the frenzy sparked by the photograph.
The original post-Easter date of return would've been about right for an abdominal surgery,though, and another month for final results wouldn't be unusual.
I was curious about " preventative " chemo. I wonder if it's just a matter of phrasing differences within English and American English? Because I haven't heard that used before. Chemo is used for cancer treatment, not prevention. Perhaps it's being used as a general word for treatment? Or maybe medicine has changed since I was in that word 20 years ago?! 😉

I posted something earlier about a discernible rise in cancer rates among people in their 30s and 40s. You can Google it and find articles about it. No one seems to know why it's happening.
I did this after two young adults who went to school with my own children were diagnosed with cancer. My children went to a tiny school which starts with a pre-kindergarten class of 15 and gradually adds children to wind up with a graduating senior class of about 80, so a very small cohort. The young people in question were like Catherine, athletic, healthy and happy, non smokers, and no substance abuse issues. It is gob-smacking when someone with their life ahead of them is struck with this disease. We usually think of cancer as something which afflicts the very old or tragically, the very young.
Both of the young people whom I know are apparently in good health now, although cancer can be very tricky. One thing that is better these days is treatment. Doctors used to fight cancer with the medical equivalent of bazookas. The chemo often killed patients before the cancer would have. Chemo is certainly no day at the beach, but it's much more sophisticated than in the past.

as a parent i can’t imagine what the kids are going through. especially in someone relatively young and in all outwards appearances healthy. when crisis hits a family your bubble shrinks and i get why they are doing this.
i’m firmly of the opinion that have every test a dr offers. you never know what will turn up and thank goodness it looks like it was caught earlier. can’t tell you how many times one test leads to diagnosis of something bigger and not necessarily related.

I find it hard to believe that the result of his wife's tests arrived precisely an hour or so before the memorial for his Greek Godfather. Even were I wrong about that what was to stop the PoW from attending the memorial; we all of us at times have to attend to matters when our thoughts are elsewhere.
If my husband got word of a positive cancer diagnosis a month after surgery while thinking I was on the road to recovery, he would fall apart. This would be particularly hurtful to him after finding that instead of being on the road to recovery, I would have a prolonged convalescence with an unknown outcome. I'm the rock in the family, the support, the person that people lean on. I believe that Princess Catherine has the same supporting role. When those of us that are the rocks break that protect against the harsh world outside, it hits the rest of the family extremely hard. Those of us that are rocks often ignore our own needs while tending to our friends and family.
For Prince William, his father has cancer, but we do not know how serious it is. He is in charge of a billion-dollar company (his duchy). Now the person that he depends on most is ill. How to tell the children would probably be foremost on his mind, after his concern about Princess Catherine. Depending on the location of the cancer, they may be able to slow the progression but not stop it.
I have to retract my comment earlier that the Princess shared when her diagnosis came through; she did not but it had been suggested via several sources that it was the “private matter” precipitating William’s absence from Constantine’s memorial. If the family had received the news even the day before, it would be understandable if William was feeling too emotionally fragile to face a grilling from family members about his wife’s prognosis.
I’ve not had to deal with a close family member getting a cancer diagnosis; still I recognize how personally devastating it would be to the patient’s family. We don’t know exactly what was going on Chez Adelaide Cottage that morning. But William’s non-attendance at his godfather’s service only ramped up the vicious speculation about Catherine’s health/continuing existence; infidelity in the marriage, domestic violence and potential involvement in the tragic death of Thomas Kingston. All of this was unnecessary and avoidable to a greater degree than it was. William may have been personally too ill to attend, but that surmise was not bolstered in my opinion when he turned up 48 hours later at the Holocaust service looking hale and bearing visible suntan marks from ski goggles. So it was not Covid or flu that kept him away. Catherine certainly hasn’t been skiing this season, but perhaps he took the children over the weekend to get their mind off things at home. Barring a 24-hour bug that had him locked in the bathroom, it would’ve looked better for William to honor his previous commitment to his godfather’s service, particularly since he had not attended Constantine’s funeral last year, sending Lady Gabriella in his place. Catherine’s health condition was not going to change in the hour or so the service would’ve taken. If one of the children were upset or been taken ill, surely Nanny Maria could have coped for an hour or two. Catherine and William are both hands-on parents compared to previous Royal generations, and that’s commendable but it’s disingenuous for either to claim that they’ve got absolutely no one to share the burdens of childcare, particularly during official Crown business. Camilla was in attendance for the King, but I wouldn’t blame the Greek Royal family for feeling snubbed when the Prince of Wales, a godson and a blood relative was a no-show at two consecutive events honoring Constantine. I would expect Catherine to urge her husband to honor his word and keep his engagements barring some dire emergency. Her health news feels dire, but it was not a precipitous emergency, if that was the reason. I fully expect she is being monitored by home health, who could have sat with her during the service if William didn’t want to leave her alone. The reason for his absence was ultimately his business but it just looked very concerning/bad and things just snowballed after this abrupt and veiled decision as we would see.
There’s a scene in the “Aberfan” episode of the Crown in which PM Wilson tells the Queen: “Leadership means calming more crises than you create, and you do it very well.” In the eyes of this American, Kensington Palace has not displayed leadership in their handling of this situation but has ham-fistedly made things worse and given the enemies of the monarchy tons of fresh ammunition.
This firestorm of the last four weeks has been entirely self-inflicted.
As if the speculation about the reasons for William’s non-appearance at the family service wasn’t outrageous enough, KP followed that up with Photogate … and immediately after *that* a highly staged and suspicious sighting at Windsor Farm Shop. With Easter only a couple weeks away, when Catherine had been anticipated to be attending the Easter service, I was prepared to give KP the benefit of the doubt that she was well enough to be up and about. Even though Internet speculation was 90% in favor of the farm shop sighting being body doubles, I thought to myself, “Surely people have lost their minds.”
But then Catherine’s video was released. What a trooper—she was remarkably poised and professional in what must have been a painful and tiring experience. We have never seen her looking less than immaculate, even hours after delivering her babies.
She showed the mettle and gravitas of a future Queen, is what she did—carrying on in the face of sickness and personal qualms just like her late grandmother-in-law. This video statement is the only competent and helpful PR management maneuver KP has handled in weeks. Had they released it a month ago, it would have done great good and bypassed all these weeks of poisonous media hounding. As it stands, the overriding impression is that they have dragged a very sick woman before the cameras to appease the baying horde and attempt some very belated damage control, since the “apology” by C. didn’t do the trick. KP’s reputation has been severely damaged, maybe permanently, and as well as Catherine performed on the hot seat, it comes at least a month too late. In the interim, KP has released these amateurish and intentionally deceptive measures to appease the public that did the opposite. I can’t believe that a Royal household has stooped to a level of public communications so subpar, it doesn’t look any different than what the Bumfartons of Montesh*tshow put out.
Who here still believes that the haggard and fragile Princess we saw in the video released yesterday was, only mere days ago editing industriously in Photoshop and striding along a street in Windsor smiling and carrying bags of shopping—in a short clip shot at a distance from a single shopper from his car window parked across the street. If he’d seen the couple inside the shop as he claimed, why didn’t he snap a photo then, rather than scurrying to his vehicle on the off chance they’d pass by? Fishy— Almost like he was planted there because his is the only image corroborating this visit.
I have reviewed that video footage dozens of times and I have to say I am now doubtful that this is the Wales couple. I might be able to concede that William would wear a baseball cap, although I can’t recall too many instances of it— But the woman doesn’t move like Kate and her hair is completely straight and halfway down her back. Never in all my years of Catherine watching have I known her hair to be that long and that straight. The face is subtly wrong. I think the resemblance is good enough to to pass muster at a quick glance but I no longer think it’s them. Probably professional William and Catherine look-alikes. Close but no cigar, says the Internet. Even my sister who very rarely follows this saga said immediately “That isn’t her.”
We saw Catherine in the video just yesterday and the curtain bangs are gone such as were in the alleged photograph, and her hair is not like the woman in the video on the street either. It looked like her habitual style. I’m sure we are all thinking about that lovely hair coming out in clumps, a terrible thought. Frankly I think chances are very good that Catherine cannot walk unaided for distances, and she did not pose for that glowing picture of health shot with her children just a couple of weeks ago.

So….WHY? Why would KP, with access to the crème of PR personnel with digital marketing and crisis management expertise have handled this so very very badly? It defies understanding. Here’s what should’ve happened in my view and I’m not a PR pro:William should have pulled his socks up and attended the memorial as scheduled. He could’ve given apologies after the service for not being able to stay and answer family questions and excused himself. Despite feelings of personal devastation and/or a pounding hangover, a true leader shows up when counted upon. William’s great-grandfather defied the Luftwaffe and courted bombs falling on BP rather than desert his duty. He braved the equally scary radio booth to deliver galvanizing speeches to his people in wartime. William’s grandmother literally dragged herself from her deathbed to dress, smile and confirm her 15th Prime Minister. William’s father, 75 years old and actively battling cancer still dresses immaculately to receive his ministers, current and new. William has come a long way from the callow youth he was at his wedding, but he is still nowhere near ready to assume the Crown, not if this is how he handles his office. Who is advising him, and why are they sinking to a Suxxit level??? I’m sure the noxious couple in Montecito is nothing if not over joyed at the current misfortunes in the RF… And their psychotic lickspittle followers are reliably piling on. But for once we cannot blame them for these egregious PR debacles. The botched photo and the to what to all appearances was a staged pap stroll Might’ve come straight out of their playbook but both of them emanated from William’s team. Seeing as the pair in California has been completely kept in the dark as to Catherine’s prognosis, we can’t hold them responsible for these. I just don’t understand.
KP should’ve led with Catherine’s videotaped plea for privacy and posted the unadulterated original picture taken by William for Mother’s Day, noting that it had been posed for last November. But did he actually take a photo of his family at home, in November or any time thereafter? What is the compelling “private matter” that caused him to be MIA from an official engagement? —a boys’ weekend at Klosters that overran? Unfortunately the upshot of recent events is that nothing that KP releases feels trustworthy now. Except for Catherine… That video felt raw and real. I am praying hard for her recovery. We have never seen her like that before and I hope that she will be back to her smiling radiant self quite soon.
Sending all good wishes and positive thoughts to both Charles and Catherine for full recoveries. For both their sakes, and for the sake of William’s children, may God preserve CR on the throne long enough for William and Catherine to raise their children to adulthood. If William ascends when he is 55 years of age, the kids will all be young adults, George will be of age to be a counselor of state, Charlotte and Louis will be in university, and William and Catherine will be able to devote their full energies to the Crown. Kings and queens are often called upon to be more than human when it comes to performing their duties. William’s late grandmother exemplified this devotion to her anointed duty, and while I commend William and Catherine for choosing to prioritize their family which is paying dividends for healthy happy well adjusted Royal children, Circumstances may demand that William assumes the Crown before either of them feel ready for it, and in some cases, the Crown will have to come first. That is part of the deal for their lives of privilege. William is an excellent father but he is still learning how to be a King. I hope he gets the opportunity to see his children launched and their adult lives before the Crown lands on his head.
I was pretty concerned when it was announced that the young and fit Princess would be hospitalized for 2 weeks. Seeing how frail she looks 10 weeks post-op and learning that a malignancy was found, I became very concerned. I’ve had to remind myself that not all surgeries can be done laparoscopically (keyhole surgery). Some still require large incisions in very painful locations or even multiple incisions. If they needed to rest her colon, she likely received total parenteral nutrition (TPN) through a large central line in her chest or upper arm to keep her caloric and nutrient intake at an optimal level. All in all, I’m certain she is receiving excellent care.
I have been praying for the Princess and the King and asking for a full and complete healing. As the world around us continues to become unrecognizable, people far beyond the UK look to the BRF for reassurance that some things remain steady and constant.

How predictable was the vile general reaction that lack of news precipitated? I can imagine that the main reason for KP's approach was to keep the news from the Harkles and the Sussex Squad, with no thought of the pack mentality of the Press or the reported nastiness of the low-life recently elected to Parliament.
There was mention of a small `tumour' right at the start. I can think of at least two conditions in different abdominal locations which are regarded as `better out than in' even if the overall chance of them turning malignant is very low.
Sadly, the world has been shown to be full of spiteful idiots. My neighbour recently commented that she's looking forward to AI as she reckons it'll be more intelligent than the morons that stalk through everyday life. At least today, minor wounds can be `glued up' but I doubt if that's enough for the major one. One also needs to get over anaesthesia, get the bladder and gut working again after the insults they have suffered, so it's 10 -12 weeks, from being warned about so much as lifting a kettle full of water to more or less complete recovery, apart from being able to move heavy furniture or humping sacks of compost around in the garden. One might have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to be safe to drive, depending on how much foot-work is needed.
I've also been thinking about the Duchess's weight loss. The Harkles have been with ussix years now. It was apparent to some, more or less from the start, that she was Trouble, although very few dare say anything, apart from the redoubtable Anne Widdecombe and Germaine Greer. That's more than six years of stress for the Royal Family so far. Goodness knows how long it'll last.
It wouldn't surprise me if it's been bad enough to prevent Princess Catherine from eating properly. Possibly she can only manage a couple of mouthfuls of anything before her throat seems to close up and it's impossible to swallow. It's happened to me; it's not anorexia in the usual sense. Should the cause(s) of the problem disappear, for whatever reason, the RF is bound to get the blame. Diana's death all over again.
Princess Catherine has my profound sympathy, being `stalked on steroids' so to speak, on the world stage is an absolute horror.
I swear to my preferred higher power that I do not know why the female Toxic Twit doesn't teach *very* expensive classes on how to snare a rich husband to leach from. Perhaps the field is too crowded? (I preferred to rely on myself because trophy wives are replaced frequently and having to marry toads is gross, but that's just me.) Do we need more speculation about why William decided at the last minute not to attend ex King Constantine's memorial service, and why KP didn't handle the situation differently? We've had weeks of speculation and idle gossip, some of it absolutely vile - not on here - and I don't think we need more, nor is it healthy. The situation might have been handled differently but it was unprecedented. We can all be wise after the event. I think Catherine and William are now at Anmer Hall with the children for Easter and I hope the press will have a period of dignified silence to let them be.
Indeed. We can certainly see the results of all sorts of maneuvers being made behind the scenes to destabilize *everything*. With King Charles' treatments (and with his age), I expect that the PoW is functioning as a deputy king and is up to speed on the intel in the daily red boxes being delivered (along with his other duties of raising the next King, being a support for PoW Catherine, and administrative duties for his various charities and the Duchy). If the PoW must step away from where he was expected to be occasionally, I am not at all surprised. World and national events do not await our convenience.

This article is dated 20 November 2016. She supposedly met hapless for the first time in July (or was it May or June)? The romance rumours, started by her, started in October. Hapless released the statement 8 November.
What is striking is the blatant lies ... that start in the very first paragraph. She did not have a lead role in Suits.
Why did everyone, including the mainstream media and tabloids, not hear alarm bells and start fact checking? By the way, the same has happened with other con artists ... some of whom have ended up in prison.
Was she unaware that she was lying? Does she believe her own fantasies? Or did she cynically think that the royal family would protect her from exposure? And when she realized that was not going to happen, she resorted to racism claims, suing, using deranged supporters and bots to attack? Why not just acknowledge the deep flaw and go and see a counsellor who can 'train' her to know when she is lying and to stop doing it? Surely being so dishonest interferes with relationships with family, friends, loved ones, colleagues, business partners ... everyone (so, a very selfish reason to do something about this lying)?

I agree it's not necessary to pile on how the RF handled the various health crises. The London Times has had a front page story of King Charles 'toddling down the hall' to visit his 'beloved' DIL when they were both in the same hospital.So KC was doing his part to give himself and the family a warm glow.
I think Prince William's instinct was likely to batten down the hatches and pull up all the draw bridges with regard to the Princess. She seems to have great strength of character and good emotional intelligence; we should just wish her a speedy return to health and let her be.
In one of her entertaining videos a while back, Lady C did briefly refer to palace staff who might be 'dropping banana peels' in the way of their beleaguered royal employers, ie, they weren't as loyal or as skilled as palace courtiers in the past. Perhaps the RF needs to clean house. I don't know if the Waleses still have that American former tv exec in their employ. One does not lie but they do remember things in ways that they look and viewed as nice, kind and almost walks on water. Any time you try to point out something different, they look at you with a puzzled look and say something about how they don't remember it at all or that's not how they remember it. A second member is similar.
The third lies. Flat out lies when there is no reason to the onlooker to lie.
Thinking about lying in general, the deal is that they have to want to change. To stop behaving like that.
So, yeah, they can go see a therapist but a lot of therapists I have observed don't do confrontation (much, if at all - it's all about your truth, worldview and so on.) These people are least likely to see a therapist as they view themselves as fine, not needing one. So they go because someone drags them and who has ever heard of someone changing because they were forced to go to therapy?
Is it not odd that the three countries named are regarded top enemies by the United States and vassal countries in the West? Remember the Democrats in America providing 'proof' that Putin had used bots to win the election for Trump? Putin did not deny that someone in Russia may be running a bot farm, but he did say that the CIA should hand over the evidence to Russia so that they could find some reason within the law to arrest and interrogate them, and hopefully charge them with committing a crime. The Americans did not even answer his message.
Note that the countries, and by implication the governments and leaders of those countries, are accused, not individuals in those countries. It may well be someone in the West has paid for bot farms in these countries to engage in these activities (people who run these bot farms usually do so for money and not for geopolitical or ideological reasons). If the West wants to stop this activity, the reasonable thing to do is exactly what Putin asked for (remember laws in the three countries are more 'draconian' than in the West, or what the West used to be, so the likelihood of the bot farms being shut down and the people prosecuted, or even interrogated to give up the names of their clients, are quite high).
Why would the leaders and government in those three countries want a destabilized West? A destabilized West is not a good trading partner (and all three of those countries do want normal trade relations with the West), does not invest in their countries, is a threat to them militarily, and nullifies any co-operation in the fields of technology, science, medicine, sport ...
Lastly, which country spies on all their own citizens plus everyone else in the world? Which country assassinates perceived enemies, mostly using drones, with reckless disregard for others who are killed in the strike? Which country threatened social media companies to bury the story of the Hunter Biden laptop (and accused Russia of inventing the story)? And so on ... Yep, that would be America, aided and abetted by Australia, Israel and some European countries. At least Russia mostly uses poison for assassination, and to date has not killed anyone else but the target! (Dark humour I admit!)
If you want to pursue conspiracy theories (that may well have been invented, just like the story of 40 beheaded babies and so on), then consider who would be paying bot farms in Russia, China and Iran? And why choose Catherine as a target? Or is this just a viral social media frenzy? The vile stories about Catherine actually have their origin in America (this is where it started). Perhaps it is just the worst of human behaviour that so many then embarked on a feeding frenzy. There are many examples, including in the history of my country, of this bizarre social behaviour in societies.
Have you seen the doubling down from Bouzy on his conspiracy theories, and his public declaration that he was discussing the subject of Catherine with the SussexSquad? That is someone with connections to the duo who has peddled his own conspiracy theories, is in close contact with the SussexSquad, and who is supposedly a tech CEO. No proof that the real culprit lives in Montecito, but it is a conspiracy theory that is more plausible than the one claiming that Russia, China and Iran are trying to destroy the West by bringing down the monarchy in the UK. It is America and its allies who do stuff like that, not Russia, China or Iran.
