It's been quite a day in the Harry and Meghan world - and the previous installment of the blog is collapsing under the weight of numerous comments.
Accordingly, here's a placeholder new post with plenty of room for new comments.
What do you think of the "Travalyst" initiative, the Sussexes' hiring of Sunshine Sachs with Sussex Foundation (Disney) money, and Harry's insistence on turning up in the same crumpled grey suit and musty brown suede shoes for every Royal engagement?
Poor Edward Lane Fox (Harry's former private secretary and de-facto keeper and valet) must need a prescription for Xanax.

I’ve just seen the new headline that the Sussex’s have snubbed The Queen for that visit at Balmoral (that never really was!). I hope Nutty does a new post for that little morsel!
But here's an alternative take, what if, this particular piece, that Meg snubbed the Queen was actually slipped by BP? By this point, the palace doesn't even have to lie or make up stories. They just have to say it like it is, and that's enough shade.
They let slip that the Queen was snubbed. Just like they let slip that the money for Sunshine Sachs is not coming from the palace, but from the new yet-to-be launched foundation.
And Elle, thank you, this comment encapsulated what I feel to be overly bitchy sniping at every...little...thing:
"If valid points can be minimized b/c of outlandish points, they will be. "

It's rather like Fauxrchie -- when the tin hats come out and it spins too far out to WTFland (a place where the dumbartons do feel safe traveling with their bambino, it seems), then all discussion re Fauxrchie's physical composition gets shut down. Hell, even I shut down about it.
And that's sad.
Because the truth is that since the pregnancy announcement, things have been increasingly complex and bizarre with the dumbartons. That's when the outrageous privacy issues arose. The birth, the secrecy, etc. seems to have put tinsel and lights on what was previously just an annoying situation (the Dumbartons themselves). Now it's these surreal machinations that are bat merde bonkers of the highest order from the dumbartons. Yet, by getting too far out there, the more conservative types run like hell from even reasonable discussion about Fauxrchie. That seems (IMO only) to diffuse focus on the real source of the real problem and when it started.
