When the Daily Beast, one of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's favorite PR outlets, reported yesterday that the duo had been bothered by drones over their current couchsurf in Los Angeles, I rolled my eyes.
Yet another fabrication, courtesy Duchess Meghan. Who really cares enough about these people to fly drones over their residence?
Unauthorized drone photos generally can't be sold to commercial publications for legal reasons, so there's not much financial incentive to take photos from above.
(The Beast suggested that some recent blurry photos of Harry playing with a dog outdoors were taken by a drone; other bloggers calculated angles that suggest the photographer was inside the house.)
Even if drone photos were publishable, who cares about the Sussexes sitting by their pool? That's not an exciting photograph. Who can use that?
In addition, if the drones were to catch Meghan topless - as they once caught Kate with long-lens cameras - the photos wouldn't have much news value.
Most of us have already seen Meghan nude from the waist up.
It sounds a lot about the lies she told about paparazzi terrorizing her in Toronto - no police report was ever filed - and in London, where it was claimed she was the subject of a "wave of harassment and abuse" because she is (a little bit) Black.
Meg has lied about so many things, it made me think:
What about Meghan do we know to be true?

Yet another lie
My assumption is that Meghan was lying about the drones, as well as the "unimaginable" levels of intrusion in Los Angeles that has the Sussexes "followed every day" (at a time when California is still mostly under lockdown) leaving them "rattled" at the cars "being driven very erratically" behind them.It sounds a lot about the lies she told about paparazzi terrorizing her in Toronto - no police report was ever filed - and in London, where it was claimed she was the subject of a "wave of harassment and abuse" because she is (a little bit) Black.

A few basics
There's never been any question, to my knowledge, that Doria and Thomas are Meg's parents, and that she grew up in the Los Angeles area, although there is some dispute about her age.
We know that Meg was married to Trevor Engelson from 2011-2013.
Her tenure on "Suits" from 2011-2017 cannot be denied, nor can her blog "The Tig", which lasted from 2014-2017.
Then, of course, we all saw Meghan get married for the second (third?) time on May 19, 2018, and there were a few documented Royal engagements during her 18-odd months in the United Kingdom.
What else about Meghan is absolutely known to be true?

Thank you @Lt. Nyota Uhura @Wild Boar Battle-Maid for the "hear, hear's." I hope you guys stick around. I'm having a hard time doing that myself too so...
There have been a lot of instances I appreciate posts but don't respond because of timing and fear of overwhelming the blog with my posts. I hope other Nutties realize that. This blog is a treasure trove because of the diversity, humor, and good spirit.
May all Nutties and their loved ones be well and safe :)
“We are in chaos overload mode. So the first thing to go is them.”—From your lips to God’s ear, please.
“Time to ignore her altogether as she is so boring. So, so true.
MM has given a virtual address about it (DM):
On speaking out about Mr Floyd, she said: 'I wasn't sure what I could say to you. I wanted to say the right thing and I was really nervous that it would get picked apart. And I realised the only wrong thing to say is to say nothing'.
The last sentence was said by others yesterday. "Really nervous"???
She probably realised she 'had' to say something. The comments are mostly the same, i.e. go away. One commenter said 'and her dad's life matters'.
She made her 6 minute speech at her former school.

In terms of Harry’s whereabouts, I do think it’s possible that he’s left and is possibly in the UK. Perhaps in rehab. Whenever he is, he’s in a bad way.
Megs did not deign to show at her old school/ She sent in video which was really an audition take/tape for Hollywood brokers. I watched 30% of the vid with the sound off.
True, she didn't need to say anything but any chance to remind us of her existence is not to be dismissed.

You're right, it was a virtual address. I didn't bother to watch the video, even with the sound off, the pix were off-putting enough.
I am sick of these celebrities using a man's death as a platform so that they can get noticed and give a public speech. Six minutes. Wow, Meghan, that man's death and the coronavirus gave you six minutes on camera giving an uninterrupted speech to a captive audience.
There was no need for a public speech at all. It will make no difference, change nothing (she has no public office, no fortune, no organisation, no influence with the real power brokers in the world). All it does is bolster her ego, get her attention (i.e. it is all about her) and make her followers feel good for a little while (and psychologically that does have some value). The place for such narcissistic behaviour is a social media platform, for signed up followers (and switch off comments if you can't bear any kind of criticism).
Unfortunately for those who will hate to hear this, it is what Trump does and says that counts, not Meghan Markle.
I do understand that in the context of lockdown people are desperate to get out, to connect, to be part of a community again; and celebrities are desperate to get noticed (the pap walks some have done when they live on a large property with plenty of space to exercise is quite pathetic). Plus, the severity of lockdown made people feel controlled, restricted, suppressed, and economic worries and hardship increased, and created, pressure.
It was a perfect storm.
But will the protests change anything? As I have said before, it is insanity to keep doing the same thing and expect different results. What do you want to change? How do you make that change? What result do you want? How do you achieve that?
Protest because 'we' want change and 'they' must do something? In the USA it is government by the people for the people, so it is the people who must create that change, by getting elected, raising money, changing laws, changing behaviour, building and creating new things and the right things.
Meghan, your little 6-minute speech will change nothing. It will make no difference. But it will get you noticed. Oh, and well done with the delay. People were crying out for you to speak ... smart, but then you always have been a hustler.
In my country, the police killed more people than the virus did in the first two weeks of lockdown (and the virus had been with us long enough for people to start dying and the police and army had been told to take it easy and be courteous and that they were there to protect and guide, not to punish and persecute). Black people killing black people. Yes, black people are more vulnerable because of their race, but the police and army attracts psychopaths and evil people and is a place where controlling and damaging behaviour can flourish. Most countries have guidelines and laws and organisations to deal with this, but yet deaths like this still happen.
Personally I think that the police involved have been arrested and charged and are in jail in the USA is a start and a good one.
In my country, no one has been arrested or charged for the more than dozen people who were killed in the first two weeks of lockdown and the one inquiry by the army exonerated the soldiers. Not good. No change expected.
Great fun to try and dissect this, isn't it? I am not sure the issue is going to be what is public interest vs private matter, I am not a lawyer but will try to formulate.
You show your private letter to one very close friend-you share your privacy with the full expectation it will remain private.
You show your private letters or talk about their content to several people and your expectation of privacy becomes doubtful.
If somebody among this group had talked to the press before than you have reasonable grounds to expect she/he can do it again. Your privacy claim goes to the bin.
MoS needs to demonstrate at least one person in the group Megsy talked to about the letters was previously speaking to media, and Meghan was aware of that.
That is going to be fun.
And she is clearly using face filters on her videos. It looks as if her face has been sandpapered over, and she looks even a few shades lighter.
I was going to count how many times she referred to herself in the first person in the six-minute speech, but got too bored too quickly to go on with it.

Thanks for the snippets of updates Poodle12 and jessica. They confirm all along that they are edging out of relevancy and the chance to make internet money big time.
Many thanks.
