Oops

Sorry, all, for letting the blog go cold.

I have no excuse - except the beautiful summer weather and the "white nights" we are currently experiencing in Estonia.

I'll put up a new post now. Please accept my apologies.

I saw the comments on moderation and guessed what happened, it’s happened before. ;o)

Anyhow, I don’t blame you, the weather is wonderful, but a tad hot for me at 27c and melting. ;o)

Hester Klingnam is a journalist and documentary researcher for a German TV media. I checked her page on Quora and she says that they are currently doing a documentary on how Meghan's PR machinery works. She says they estimate that the minimum Meghan has spent on PR is $7m from January till date.

She says she can confirm that Doria has moved into the house with them and that Marcus Anderson has been living with them for the paat eight weeks and Harry is very unhappy about it.

Question: "Why is it that the Quora questions criticizing Meghan, Duchess of Sussex disappeared for the last two months and now they're suddenly returning? Hester Klingnam's answer: I think you would be surprised at the amount of time Meghan’s PR team are putting into trying to save her quickly deteriorating image across the world.

Facebook, YouTube, Quora, Twitter and so on are banned in China. Zhihu is the Quora of China. Pressure has been put on them to be supportive of Meghan, but they have refused to cooperate. (My company in Germany is in talks with them. We will be producing a publication on this very subject). Sina Weibo, China’s version of Twitter, have also turned down requests to write glowing tweets about her. Also Baidu Tieba, a very popular search engine forum with young people will not cooperate. It is clear that China will not be capitulate when faced with outside threats.

My question is, how much money is being spent on this, and who is paying for it? It doesn’t come cheap. Our people have put a conservative estimate on this of seven million dollars since January 1st. We have been busy researching this subject, and preparing magazine articles and a TV documentary in collaboration with Arte, the state-owned French-German arts channel, which will be shown later this year.
As I said, I think you would be surprised if you knew what was happening.

Question: Will your documentary be published in English?

Hester Klingnam's answer: Elle, Esquire, The Lady, Marie Claire, Grazia and Vanity Fair are all published in English. We’re going for massive coverage. Nothing will appear until Harry’s ongoing disagreement with Marcus Anderson has been sorted, one way or another. Things are coming to a head, so hopefully we can put the stories to bed soon. We’re still collecting and processing the information that keeps coming in from various sources.

Question: Is it true that Doria has moved in with them?

Hester's answer: I can confirm that Doria has moved in with them. Also, Marcus is living with them, and has been for the last 8 weeks. Meghan wants him to go with her and Harry when they move from the Beverly Ridge Estates. Harry is not happy with this proposal from Meghan.

She also explains that TMI, the owners of Maire Claire and 46 other publications has a working relationship with Sunshine Sachs and thats why we keep seeing Meghan's press releases.

Answer to Why is Marie Claire magazine reporting that Meghan is ‘secretly’ contacting a U.K. charity? How is that “secret” then? by Hester Klingnam Hester Klingnam's answer to Why is Marie Claire magazine reporting that Meghan is ‘secretly’ contacting a U.K. charity? How is that “secret” then? - Quora

Do you all remember when I made the argument that Meghan doesn't have the numbers and her PR isn't organic? Well, this journalist has confirmed all I've been saying. She's spending millions on PR but the result isn't commensurate with the amount she's spending.

SO glad you are back! I worry so.

As for the PR . . that is ridiculous. I just can't fathom the combination of 1. being so untalented* and 2. spending so much on transparent lies.

*In this I include ANY publicizable attribute: beauty, talent, intelligence, accomplishments, a worthy cause. (Imagine, for instance, 7 million dollars (pounds, euros) spent fighting human trafficking!)

There has been a flurry of negative articles on the Sussexes lately. They are eating their hearts out over the concurrent flurry of positive coverage for the other Royals, who are getting back out there to thank various frontline workers. The Queen's secret weapon, Sophie Wessex, was spotted looking very down-to-earth normal as she volunteered at a food bank packing parcels of food.

Catherine's lovely photos of her husband with their children continue to document this happy growing family, and the recently-released photo of William and Charles taken this past Christmas at Sandringham to mark Father's Day was very touching.

While stories trickle out about the obscene amounts of money Meg is spending on PR, rumor also has it that Harry was spotted arriving back in England over the weekend, solo. On Father's Day, as it happened . . no huge festivities planned in L.A. obviously.

*If* it's true that Tyler Perry's mansion is now currently housing Marcus Anderson & Doria, I can imagine that Harry isn't too happy. Marcus may (seems inevitably that he *has*) played a pivotal role in introducing Harry and Meg through his Soho House contacts . . but what is he doing couch-surfing with the Harkles in their borrowed digs NOW, if they are supposedly so happily married and parenting a one-year-old? I don't know if Marcus is/was Meg's boyfriend or something other (that rhymes with 'simp'), but his presence, whether real or implied has hung over the Sussex 'relationship' like a bad smell. Beyond shady. As for Doria, I imagine she'd love the chance to use Tyler Perry's pool and other amenities for as long as her daughter is grifting free accommodation out of bona fide Hollywood star/F.O.O. (Friend of Oprah) Mr. Perry. In between bouts of changing Archie's nappy, of course.

I think it's all over but the shouting, frankly. The Sussexes have nominally made it as legally married to past the second anniversary, as requested by HMTQ. I think the '12-month review' was to engineer a divorce deal and extract Harry back to the U.K. In any case, Hazza's six-month visa was set to expire, if they've actually been hiding out in L.A. since before Christmas, as has been suggested. I don't think they were ever in Canada, frankly, and that's all been an elaborate blind.

Nothing Meg does is comprehensible, or possibly, even real. We have all been led a merry dance these last two years, and it seems that that was always the plan all along.

Hey Nutty welcome back and I'm glad you took some time off for yourself. Thanks for the new posts also :)

@Jdubya thanks for the Quora article. Haven't had time to read any articles lately - life happens - nothing bad just busy :)

@Hikari great post. Yeah I think Harry's visa is about to expire so given that and obviously other things going on, he's headed back to dad and granny.

I’m ashamed to admit this, but I panicked when I couldn’t access your blog the past couple of days. I thought you’d pulled up sticks and moved to some secret web address where I’d never be able to find you again—and so close to the publication of Lady C’s book!!!

It’s such a relief to know you’re still here, Nutty!

A Quiet Interlude

Not much appears to be going on. Living Legends came and went without fanfare ... what's the next event?   Super Bowl - Sunday February 11th?  Oscar's - March 10th?   In the mean time, some things are still rolling along in various starts and stops like Samantha's law suit. Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

As Time Passes and We Get Older

I started thinking about how time passes when reading some of the articles about the birthday.  It was interesting to think about it from the different points of view.  Besides, it kind of fits as a follow up the last post (the whole saga of can the two brothers reunite). So there is the requisite article about how he will be getting all kinds of money willed to him from his great-grandmother.  There were stories about Princess Anne as trustee (and not allowing earliest access to it all).  Whether or not any or all of this is true (there was money for him and/or other kids) has been debated with claims she actually died owing money with the Queen paying the debts to avoid scandal.  Don't know but I seem to remember that royal estates are shrouded from the public so we may not (ever) know. However, strange things like assisting in a book after repeated denials have popped up in legal papers so nothing is ever really predicable.   We are also seein...

The Opening Act of New Adventures in Retail

I keep thinking things will settle down to the lazy days of spring where the weather is gorgeous and there is a certain sense of peacefulness.  New flowers are coming out. increasing daylight so people can be outside/play and thinking gardening thoughts.  And life is quiet.  Calm. And then something happens like a comet shooting across the sky.  (Out of nowhere it arrives and then leaves almost as quickly.)   An update to a law suit.  Video of the website is released (but doesn't actually promote any specific product which can be purchased from the website).  A delay and then jam is given out (but to whom and possible more importantly - who did not make the list?).  Trophies almost fall (oops).  Information slips out like when the official date of beginning USA residency.  (now, isn't that interesting?) With them, it's always something in play or simmering just below the surface.  The diversity of the endeavors is really ...
