The Sussex saga: We were right about Meg's bullying. What else were we right about?

Just a few weeks ago, the Sussex saga was a bit dull. Over the past week, of course, it's exploded.

First there was Harry's ridiculous bus-top interview with James Corden, in which he hopelessly flubbed his scripted lines and flopped his arms about like a man who is accustomed to not being taken seriously.

Of course, stopping at the exterior location home of a long-dead sitcom and then asking, on camera, to use the bathroom is an indication of a man who should not be taken seriously.

It's a good thing the protocol-loving Queen Mother isn't around to see the Corden show. She might have asked for her inheritance back.

Rushing through his dialogue

Then there was a quick clip from Oprah's upcoming interview with the Sussexes. Meg is shown sitting silent, plastic-faced, in an unflattering dress, looking somewhat like a showroom dummy of herself.

Harry, meanwhile, is babbling on again like a man who is accustomed to not being listened to, as he again draws parallels between his wife with his mother. (John Lennon had a terrible habit of doing this as well; he mixed his mother's name with his wife's in the otherwise gorgeous love song Julia.)

"My biggest concern was history repeating itself," he says. "I'm really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side because I can't begin to imagine what it must have been for her going through this process by herself all these years ago."

He's speaking prepared dialogue, but he's rushing through it like somebody is going to cut him off at any moment. Which probably tells us a little bit more than what we want to know about life at Sussex Manor.

Earrings from MbS

Then there was the revelation that the earrings Meg wore to a royal event in Fiji - along with that simple blue dress that was one of her few great fashion moments - were an unreported wedding gift from Saudi leader Mohammed bin Salman.

MbS, as he's referred to in the diplomatic community, is a controversial figure who was involved in the death of propagandist-not-journalist Jamal Khashoggi just three weeks earlier.

Wearing the earrings would have been bad enough style given the timing, but apparently Meghan lied about their provenance as well, saying they were "borrowed." (At the time, I believe, a Hong Kong jeweler took credit for loaning them to her.)

Receiving the earrings was not, quite frankly, improper, since MbS is a member of another Royal family.

But the timing of their public debut was awful, and the dishonesty about where they came from - was she lying just to the press? or also to the Royal staff assisting her? - was unsettling.

What else are we right about?

Of course, at this blog and at other non-sugar Meghan blogs, we've been saying for a long time that Meg is a liar.

We've also been saying for quite some time that she is a bully, information that is just beginning now to officially emerge from Kensington Palace, where an investigation is underway.

This raises the question: what else were we right about?

Yachting? Trevor? Corey? The hockey player? The dogs? Joseph Gordon-Giuliano? Meg's drug use? Doria's prison record? Meg's lack of a university diploma? Meg's real birthdate? Markus Anderson? Nicole?

Archie?

You know, there are a LOT of ways to subtly or overtly troll the couple simply through advertising. Spray on tans for Meghan so that she can be the same color all over. Spray on scalp color for that bald patch.
Excellent suggestions - thank you Aquitaine & Maneki Neko.

I'd add Hever Castle (birthplace of Anne Boleyn), Fotheringay(execution of Mary Queen of Scots) and perhaps the Square in Winchester, with the Eclipse Inn from which Dame Alice Lisle emerged to her beheading for sheltering rebels after the Battle of Sedgemoor (1685).

Lady A was fortunate insofar as she was condemned to being burned at the stake by Judge Jeffreys but was spared that by reason of her rank. She was 68.
Thanks too, to SwampWoman!

I think we've discussed this Quoran before. He may have insider connections and Soho House connections as he claims. And some of his answers may be interesting. But he gets alot wrong...really really wrong. For example:

Nov 17 https://www.quora.com/Is-Archie-in-line-for-the-throne

"Actually he is not!

He is in the line of Succession but he has not been raised in the ways of the Church of England and is currently ineligible to be King.

This is also true of Harry."

Huh?

Sept 6

https://www.quora.com/If-Prince-George-came-to-the-United-Kingdom-throne-while-he-was-a-minor-would-it-be-possible-to-bypass-Prince-Harry-as-regent-and-appoint-someone-else

"Prince Harry is basically not in the line of succession but what is called a “spare”.

Harry has only a chance of being Monarch if George, Charlotte and Louie all die. Even then the chance of being King is next to zilch. Anne would be confirmed as Queen."

He then doubles down on Anne as Monarch in a Sept 9 comment to his answer. Among other things, his comments seem to conflate Monarch of UK with Head of the Commonwealth:

"The Regency Act has actually expired as it related to the current Queen and expired when her children reached adulthood, any new Regent needs to be confirmed by Parliament. The Privy council and office of the Black Rod have pointed this out.

The Commonwealth two years ago in confirming Charles as King made provisions for Anne to be Regent."

Hardly true.

Seen in the Telegraph in an article by Victoria Ward

The Sussexes have become ardent followers of Brené Brown, an American self-help guru, who says: “You either walk into your story and own your truth, or you live outside of your story, hustling for your worthiness.” Sounds just like Megsy's word salad. I wonder how many empty, meaningless phrases Mega will use, or quotes she will plagiarise.

Wait, now they are followers? I thought they were leaders. Regardless, they need to take that woman's ADVICE. Own your truth, Harry and Meghan! Meghan, you are an unpleasant, pushy, bullying b*tch with no discernible talent, a grasping turd that The Firm was reluctantly trying to polish into a jewel although they kept getting their fingers dirty. Harry, you are an intellectually-challenged bully whose stupid exploits The Firm has kept covered up for your own good. Both of you owe huge apologies to the people that you have wronged, both inside and outside of your families. OWN YOUR TRUTH! Stop living outside your story, pretending to be the nicey nicey people devoted to helping others when you really just want to help yourselves."

I should be a self-help guru.
Has anyone seen today's Daily Star front page? Above the standard "publicity averse woman" headline we expect, there's an advert for a free pullout. It's titled "missing... 8 pages of unsolved mysteries". I wonder if Archie will be included in it? :OP

Quite a few defending and praising Meghan ...

If I can venture into the philosophical ... this public spectacle is a manifestation of two groups fighting for dominance in the world:

The BRF represent service, community, ethics, honouring history, raising vast amounts of money for philanthropy and to support people who are going to make a difference (Earthshot Prize, Prince's Trust) and others ... and all kindsbof values like that, but also appreciating beauty and art in the forms of paintings, furniture, jewellery, as well as culture.

Meghan and Harry represent the extreme of shallow, hypocritical, entitled, dishonest, completely selfish ... those who use and abuse others without contributing anything of value at all.

Both sides come from the elite, but they are very different.

'Buckingham Palace officials were today braced for a third preview trailer of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, after CBS announced it would be released this afternoon.

The US network is set to broadcast the full two-hour chat on Sunday night at 1am UK time, before ITV shows it the following evening, on Monday, from 9pm, despite Harry's grandfather Prince Philip recovering from heart surgery.

A fourth clip from the interview, filmed in California last month, will be screened today on the breakfast show CBS This Morning, between 12pm and 2pm UK time (7am to 9am Eastern Time). The release follows two clips which came out together in the first preview on Monday, and a third which was issued in the second preview yesterday.'

In that jewelry advertisement, er, Oprah interview, it appears as though Meghan is pale with a pallor nearly matching Harry's. Is it morning sickness or impending doom that has changed her color? Seems strange that she was so much darker skinned in the UK, home of vitamin D deficiency, than in sunny southern California.

You asked yesterday (sorry I'm catching up, things are moving so fast now!) if we think MM could walk away unscathed from this, as she always seems to do. I sincerely hope she doesn’t but I was concerned.

Headlines in most of the press including The Times were: Meghan accuses palace of ‘perpetuating falsehoods.’

If you listen carefully or read the subtitles of the second clip take notice of the almost insignificant but skilfully placed word ‘if’.

“I don’t know how they could expect that, after all of this time, we would still just be silent *if* there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.”
“*If* that comes with risk of losing things…”

She says it so quietly that we almost miss it and everyone has focused on the inflammatory part of the statement, but that small detail could change everything when this escalates. She will then be able to say ‘but I didn’t actually accuse them, that is just what you think you heard. Not my fault you misinterpreted my truth yet again’. This, this is what she does, cleverly wording things so nothing sticks on her and she can then turn the accusations back on you. Just like she is doing now with Kate, ‘I didn’t leak that story so it must have been Kate.'

I’m praying that that they really nail her this time with video proof of her lying and deceit.

Gayle and Oprah are joined at the hip and have been for many years. This is merely a foretaste of what the interview will be about. Oprah has been planning this since she met Meghan and Doria, and wanting something like this for years.

I was reading the comments on a random article that was musing about what we'd like to do first when lock down ends, and found this gem:

Snort. PA has been investigated multiple times and the conclusion by law enforcement was that he did nothing wrong. Sounds like Meghan and Harry are afraid of what an investigation will find. Maybe it is more that Oprah, et al. are DESPERATELY trying to stir up conflict and interest in an unattractive co-dependent couple that *nobody* is interested in.

Still not watching, y'all. I'd rather watch Dr. Pimple Popper (no, not at all, but as a comparison) than a couple of whiners crying not because *they* didn't get enough toys in their crib, they wanted *everybody's* toys in their crib. *sigh* And now they want to have a big tell-all interview about how the Royal Family are all big giant poopyheads because they didn't recognize the greatness that is the Harry and Meghan Show.

I think when Meghan met Harry she thought she had found her ticket to Oprah interviews, magazine spreads, guest appearances on any show or movie she chose ... the Oscars, the Met Gala, lots and lots of jewellery and designer clothes. Oh, and guaranteed major coverage for every speech, every appearance.

A bit of virtue-signalling charity stuff? Of course she could do that, just like Angelina Jolie!

She never understood what being royal was about, never comprehended what service is, and did not listen to Harry when he told her. Harry, in turn, did not listen to family and friends when they recognized the train wreck approaching and tried to warn him. He also ignored the signs of the toxic side of Meghan.

Tragedy or comedy? Both!

Oprah: 'So I just want to say that I called you either February or March 2018 before the wedding, asking would you please give me an interview, and you said I'm sorry, it's not the right time, and finally we get to sit down and have this conversation.'

Meghan: 'Well, I remember that conversation very well. I wasn't even allowed to have this conversation with you personally, right? There had to be people from the… sitting there, everything was…

Oprah: 'There were other people in the room when I was having that conversation.'

Meghan: 'Yeah, even on that call.'

Oprah: 'You turned me down nicely and said, perhaps there will be another time when there's the right time. What is right about this time?'

Meghan: 'Um [long pause]. Well, so many things. Um, that we're on the other side of a lot of - a lot of life experience that's happened, and also that we have the ability to make our own choices in a way that I couldn't have said yes to you then. That wasn't my choice to make. So as an adult who lived a really independent life to then go into this construct that is different than I think what people imagine it to be, it's really liberating to be able to have the right and the privilege in some ways to be able to say yes, I'm ready to talk.'

Oprah: 'And to say it for yourself.'

Meghan: 'Yeah. To say it for yourself.'

Oprah: 'And not to have to consult with anybody at this point.'
Meghan: 'Yeah, to be able to just make a choice on your own and be able to speak for yourself.'

Poor Megalo the oppressed! You'd think the UK and/or BRF was asbad as North Korea.

I watched the new clip.

It’s Meghan going on and on about how she was once an adult with freedom and joining the RF is a ‘construct’ in which she couldn’t speak. (Side note- basically, interpreting, she admits she was too stuck in her ways to adjust to this new way of life). She giggles when Oprah reminds her she tried to do an interview with her prior to the wedding, and Meghan says yes I couldn’t even take the call and there were people right next to me [dictating what she said]. She gets defiant about not having a ‘voice’ again.

She’s not helping herself and looks dumber by the minute. She lacks any intelligence around her decisions. It’s baffling. She’s so confused as to why she couldn’t merch Harry from the start. LOL. Bummer!

She would have known all these rules prior to marrying Harry.
Has anyone ever pointed out that M wasn't forced to join the Royal Family, although to hear her whine and yammer it would be easy to think she had been captured and held at gunpoint until she said `I do'?

We've probably all made bad decisions and committed errors of judgement that have landed us in bad situations but we don't hold the other party solely responsible for it. We just admit, if only to ourselves, that we made a mistake, then extricate ourselves and try to move on with our lives.

That's the difference between most people on one hand and narcissists on the other.

Meghan's 'supporters' see the investigation from the Palace as a personal attack on Meghan. How stupid can one be?

The Palace tried to bury the issue. They are only addressing it now because it has been exposed and they have to act. They are now acting with level-headed maturity (better late than never!) but note that the investigation is focused on systems ... what went wrong and how can we fix our systems?

Meghan's supporters see the British press as evil incarnate who smeared and bullied Megsie and made her life unsurvivable.

The truth is that royal reporters knew what was going on but kept silent. They did not hold the monarchy accountable for implementing a dignity at work policy.

Meghan and Harry must be stopped because they are actively spreading stupidity across the world. Planet of the Apes is our future if we do not stop this regression!

Think of alllllllllll of the prominent people in the Epstein flight logs. Why is the focus on Prince Andrew? He is is creep, but why only him?
Why this Megs-related frenzy of celebs pointing at Andrew, not mentionIng at least one or two other big names? I ask myself about this, and to me it seems like a weirdly relentless coordinated Megs squad attack on the Palace by celebs...why?

When people try to stir up a frenzy about anything at point A, I always do a check look over at point B.

And another thing! Isn't it ironic that Gayle et. al. are trying to put out the MM fire by bringing up the PA allegations when most of MM's victims are also women? I thought we should "believe all women"? The hypocrisy is just outrageous!

How about if Oprah's staffers ignored those well-publicized NDAs and go on television to complain that they weren't allowed to have a voice in the running of the show? How long would THEY last?

Somebody that supported Harvey Weinstein can hardly be pointing fingers, now, can they? Besides, if they pointed out Bill and Hillary flying (sans broom and flying monkeys), they would probably be sad victims of a drive-by shooting.

A comment from the Harry Markle substack comments section as it relates to the NBH coming out in defense of MM and victim shaming/blaming:

"A minor point to keep in view is that after earlier scandal from some years ago the National Bullying Helpline ceased to be charity under regulation by the Charity Commission, rather it describes itself as a voluntary organization.

(The scandal arose from the founder/chief executive having breached confidentiality by disclosing publicly the workplace (Gordon Brown’s Downing Street) of victim callers.)"

Warning ... I am going to spew a bit of anger here.

When the Sussexes were in South Africa, Meghan had lunch with a group of women (and no, they did not pay to meet and lunch with the Meglomaniac). One of those women is Mamphele Ramphela, the lover of Steve Biko and mother of two children with him. Biko was silenced by being beaten to death in a police cell. His 'crime' was to ask for equal rights for black people in South Africa.

I cannot bear to hear this shallow narcissist, living in obscene luxury that she earned simply by being bootie call for a stupid prince, drone on in her word salad about her voice and being heard. I cannot bear to hear ridiculous stupid plastic people like Scobie and Daniel weep about the persecution of Duchess Meghan.

And maybe there is a don't piss of oprah, support and promote her interview thing going on. She is still besties with people like David Geffen who also wields a lot of hollywood power (and has a yacht ha!)

MEGHAN Markle has won her latest legal battle over the publication of a letter to her father.

It comes after a High Court judge ruled a national paper breached her privacy when it printed extracts of a five-page letter she'd written to Thomas Markle.Today, it was confirmed that the Mail on Sunday has been ordered to publish a front-page apology to Meghan after her victory.

The statement must also run on MailOnline for a week with a link to the court's full ruling on Meghan's win.

The same edition of the newspaper will have to state on page three that the High Court gave judgment for the Duchess on her claim for copyright infringement.

It will also have to include the following statement: "The court found that Associated Newspapers infringed her copyright by publishing extracts of her handwritten letter to her father in The Mail On Sunday and in MailOnline."

@DesignDoctore, Thank you. Sorry to hear you suffered something similar. My daughter is fine, Covid restrictions are the only rain on her parade at the moment.

I was pleased with the way the university handled the matter, & stupid Charles should take lessons. The university, (& my daughter, who was all about 'the sisterhood,' & thought kindness solves everything), are the 'wokiest' of the 'woke,' but they managed to quietly deal with the bully without triggering time & money wasting lawsuits, hearings, etc. I'm convinced that a lot of the exorbitant tuition costs private universities charge nowadays are related to protecting themselves from charges of 'bias.' The woman ticked 2 diversity boxes for them, because she was female & gay, but they discreetly got her sent to employment Siberia. She had personality problems which impacted on the ability of others to do their jobs well. End of. It also would be very, very hard for a case to be made that this particular school discriminated against either women or homosexuals. That would be be a laugher all the way.

Charles seems to think craven capitulation is the way to deal with someone who will scream 'racism' if they don't get their way on everything, & he seems to arrogantly expect low paid, discreet & loyal staff to suffer in silence. Crazy, but lots of companies seem to be doing it, nowadays. I know if my child had been the one who made everyone's life difficult, she probably would have been encouraged to pursue her studies elsewhere. 'Fairness' should work both ways. Some schools do cover up the misdeeds of the children of huge donors, (we are NOT donors) but it wasn't always this way. Lots of Kennedys didn't manage to get into Harvard. Charles is like that weird, creepy, very rich kid at school, who nobody likes, & lets himself get bullied, but he knows mommy & daddy will swoop in to fix things if he needs them. NOT leadership material in my books. If the RF goes down, I'll put it down to Charles.

She just can't see that her side of the story just makes her look worse. Entitled, bragging, manipulative, and filled with self-pity.

She is the poster girl for everything we should worry about in this culture. Frankly, I am so weary of racism as the first line of defense. It cheapens real racism claims and shuts down any conversation as to what is really going on.

I am weary of cancel culture and social media gangs.

She really!is not well in the head. Can she not shut up and see that every time she opens her big gob, she makes everything far worse? This is a new low for her to accuse the Palace of using Philip's health.

Oprah isn’t creating America’s newest saint, she is showcasing her predilection for supporting crazy, mind-blowingly awful celebs. She is showing us who Oprah is, by showcasing what Oprah loves most.

That this Weinstein team member and her soul twin Gayle are trying to act like saints themselves—well, they have jopened the doors in ways they aren’t thinking of, all in the frenzy to glorify this creature. When things finally come out, I hope Oprah has an Icelandic cave to hide in.

I hope that Americans and Brits struggling through the hell and loss of a pandemic will look at their television screens, and see a sulky, spoiled middle-aged heavily Botoxed millionaire in an expensive gown, on a sunny lush California estate, afforded two prime time hours simply to b***h about her woes and being hard done by, because the Palace she lived in would not let her call Oprah before her $40 million dollar televised wedding or give her money and jewels without working.

So much, much more hell than, for example, the Grenfell Tower victims.

They will flip to another channel, and/or share their disgust on Twitter and in the DM comments, and with coworkers and friends.

I think, I pray, this is the grand start of her karmic undoing.

Below a summary of The Telegraph's coverage of MM. I can't post for several hours as I have volunteer work getting people covid vaccines today.

Sussexes 'not informed' of Palace bullying inquiry
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not been contacted about the investigation into claims Meghan bullied her staff during her time as a working royal. The couple expect to be notified if formal allegations are made against them by Buckingham Palace, it is understood, amid accusations their staff were bullied and left "broken", "terrified" and "shaking" with fear. Downing Street has said Boris Johnson has full confidence in his top civil servant after it was claimed he knew about the Duchess's alleged bullying. Cabinet Secretary Simon Case was reportedly aware of allegations in his capacity as the Duke of Cambridge's private secretary in 2018. Here are the key figures at the centre of the claims.

All this comes ahead of this weekend's Oprah Winfrey interview with the Sussexes, with a preview clip showing the Duchess accusing the Palace of "perpetuating falsehoods". Victoria Ward examines all the claims made so far by the couple while Camilla Tominey analyses what comes next for them. Here is how to watch the interview while Matt takes the royal rift to new levels. Yet amid all the accusations, one precious, and potentially telling, detail has been overlooked from the Oprah interview clips: the necklace the Duchess chose to wear while "speaking her truth". Sarah Royce-Greensill analyses how it could be a hidden olive branch.

Also If you go to Page 6 you'll see Halle Berry, Gabrielle Union, Chance the Rapper and Roxanne Gay of the NY Times are all supporting MM and saying the issue is shutting down black women. I wonder who is organizing it. What a mess!

Not to annoy anyone rightfully angry but my first reaction was LOL 😂

It’s like watching dumb and dumber having a conversation! Are they THAT stupid?? Really? It’s a genuine question I ask. Was she shackled and dragged down the altar kicking and screaming?? Was she drugged on that infamous day to walk down the altar smiling? Was she imprisoned in a tower at Windsor Castle and not allowed any visitors prior to her wedding day?? Did the Firm as she calls them force her into this marriage by holding her hostage taking away her phone, passport and credit cards?? Did PC grab her by her useless veil and deliver her to his son??
WTF??
She is so dumb! She’s basically admitting that she knew about the rules and what was expected of her and “as an adult” she agreed and got married!
R_O said…
The latest trailer meant she knows the members of the RF doesn’t entertain personal interviews nor talk to the press. She was first approached by Oprah before the wedding. She knew of these protocols and yet chose to marry into the family. She could have backed out. The fact that she said it wasn’t the right time for an interview meant she planned everything all along. Marry Harry, leave, court fame. She knows as long as she is part of the family that she will never be allowed to give interviews. She needs to understand that the no interview rule was not specifically made to silence her. This is just how the RF operates.

I also think Meghan doesn’t have any plans of divorcing Harry. She knows full well the RF will never disown Harry. That’s why she’s turning Harry against his family and oldest friends. She’s making sure she has complete control over him. She will cling on to his status as a royal and to his money.

Now the Oprah interview which was her second chance at becoming the world's sweetheart and she's in the same boat: heartless indifference to an elderly family member in the hospital and people walking over themselves to out what a true mean girl Rache is.

While driving through Chicago yesterday, I listened to a talk/chat radio show with two hosts, one male and one female who took the Diva’s side. The woman “hated the way Meghan was treated by the royal family” and felt she was within her rights to bitch about it on TV with Oprah. I wanted to scream. The ignorance of the American audience (generally speaking) about the British monarchy and the behavior of H and M as a couple makes me think that they will buy their BS on Sunday. I hope I’m wrong, but most under-40’s in this country believe that the Jews were at least partly (if not mainly) responsible for the Holocaust so my hopes aren’t too high for a PR backlash against the Sussexes here.

Looked at the photo. That is way-back Markle, in my opinion — I spy her old nose, her former teeth, her old brows, her unpampered face condition, still with her mole and freckles: and a curlier, richer hairline. And the striped top M wears looks about ten years out of date, minimum.

They had to go that far to find a picture of her looking pleasant to humans who aren’t Jessica and Markus.

I admire posters here who keep their spirits up but I feel defeated by what's happening now - Meghan may just cruise through this. In today's world what is a fact, what is right doesn't matter, what matters most is who is paid to shout the loudest using triggering phrases. Someone said ahead, that those standing up for Meghan are people who are of the same system. These people have power without principles - what a dangerous mix. Not really the fairy tale ending everyone hoped for, but they have certainly figured out how to cash in on the lurid details of their very public exit from the monarchy. They complained about the toxic press they have received, but I think the press found it difficult to cast a positive light on their trail of abandoned family members, abandoned royal obligations, tasteless lawsuits and disrespect of the Queen and the UK.

They have a monumental sense of self-importance, a PR nightmare for many. They would be better served to keep their disagreements private, and live the private lives they wanted.

Suits actor Patrick J Adams is on a vicious multi-part twitter rant against the Royal family for attacking innocent Meghan, who he says was forced to”flea” (sic) the UK to save her family.

He can’t believe the royals are accusing a pregnant girl of bullying. He adds that this is “just another stunning example of the shamelessness of an institution that has outlived its relevance, is way overdrawn on credibility and apparently bankrupt of decency.”

So, the world should change and ancient institutions should be torn down, to accommodate a Z-list actress-hotel escort from suburban LA, according to yet another minor celeb.

This is bigger than Harry❤️Meghan.

It's starting to look like BP dropped the ball by not stripping HM of their titles and access to the RF. Imagine being Charles, who went out of his way to pay them millions last year, just setting himself up to be backstabbed and undermined.

Is Meghan betting on Charles supporting publicly her when the Queen passes?
@AnT, it sounds like MM is writing these tweets for people. She writes them, hands them out to each person: "here, say this." Didn't she screw/have an affair with one of her Suits costars? I can't remember which one. And "flea" is right-she's a bloodsucking insect that has lived off the lifeblood of others her whole life.
Meghan's core problem is not understanding Britain =/= USA. She exploited the UK and is crying foul. There's no RF to marry into in the USA. Part of this is Meghan's great resentment that it wasn't what she thought it was = an easy free ride into unlimited accolades and fame. It's obvious in the way she speaks of the UK that she has no clue what is going on.

The great comments are coming so fast, I can't keep up.

@JennS posted a link a few days ago to an EOnline video which had a brief, almost incomprehensible three person chat about the Oprah interview. The speakers obviously had no knowledge of British life, royal protocol, history, culture, & could care less. It's that type of viewer that Oprah, Gayle, Hegs & Megs are aiming for.

@Sandie, the little paragraph in the Royston tweet was puzzling because I thought Megs had dropped the copyright part of the lawsuit. Royston is corrected below his post by someone who clarifies that the apology will be on page 3, not page 1. Interesting. I wonder if Warby is going to order huge damages. That would be disappointing, & only encourage Megs.

Re: Jon Cowan backing her up. He was a producer on Suits for the first three years of the run and hasn't seen her since. So, when she worked for him, she was "nice."

So her "support" is Oprah/Gayle, obviously looking after themselves, a college friend that had no problem with the Wimbledon stadium being cleared for The Narkle and a few random celebrities that have never met her.

If her line of attack is, my voice was taken .... Um, you gave it up. You CHOOSE to give it up, but Oprah will never question why a 37-8 year old women didn't understand that the Royal Family, like many institutions, has a few rules. Didn't Michelle Obama have to accept some limits on what she had to say, as First Lady, or Oprah herself when she worked for network TV.

We all make choices in life, and I hope Oprah, Gail and The View hosts are eventually embarrassed by their Markle backing. Much like Whoopi Goldberg eventually had to admit her support of Bill Cosby ("it wasn't rape, rape") was not a great look.

No, this is another American attempt, much like the recent push to "cancel" Dr. Seuss, to forget all history, all shades of grey, any context, and to just follow the Social Justice Warriors off the cliff of sanity.

So look for more dirt coming from both sides as the big O interview comes.
Palace dirt only coming after years of the Palace being played for fools by their "never complain never explain" Modus Operandi. Which I like but this does not work these days with todays twitter and other quickie internet outlets.

Does anyone know if Meghan is pursuing the issue of sole copyright? If not, she will face the very member of staff who unleashed the kraken about the bullying. She is riding high on the Oprah interview hype but surely she is not going to open the door to more revelations? It seems that Knauf kept all his correspondence and if the other three of the Palace 3 did as well, she is going to have to face a paper trail of evidence.

@Miz Malaprop,
Certainly seems that way, doesn’t it? I feel as you do.
Someone way back in the thread mentioned the Marquise de Merteuil (my apologies - I don't recall who it was but it was a good point.)

Rhe Marquise was left having to cope with the ravages of smallpox, a pock-marked face and blindness in one eye. Her beauty was no more.

Supposing M lives to old age and doesn't die as a result of her favourite recreations - what happens if she's no longer able to have her cosmetic procedures? What becomes of her face?

What do you think she'll look like in old age? One article suggests she'll look better than Catherine `because of he skin tone and life style' but I'm less sure. What's the effect on lightened skin in the Californian sun? What might repeated injections of filler do to easily-damaged skin?

She's got a good set of crowsfeet as it is, plus crepe-y skin under the eyes, which isn't good for someone who has yet to turn 40, allegedly.

Will she whinge that Nature is unfair?

Well, Meghan has now successfully separated Harry from his family and friends and the couple now resides in California, living Meghan's dream.

Meghan has ditched her family and systematically dropped any friends who were no longer useful.

Yoga, voice-overs for Disney, and now a reality-show style interview with Oprah. Meghan would never have won an Oscar, but at least she can out-Kardashian anyone.

Wokie-McWoke-Woke NYTimes commenters are beginning to sound like the DM. There are plenty of Megs & Hegs are saints & what about Prince Andrew comments. The Times manipulates its comments to support its editorial goals, so will probably see that those comments get featured.

The Queen can say she sees how much Megs is suffering from the weight of royal connection, so she is eliminating all of it as her gift of total freedom, in love and compassion, to dear Harry and Meghan. They will no longer be encumbered with the titles and funds and memories they associate with an oppressive, racist, misogynistic regime. Go swim like salmon, Harry and Megs. Namaste.

Someone once pointed out that removing the Sussex titles will turn Prince Harry back into Prince Harry of Wales, which runs the risk of Meghan calling herself "Princess of Wales." I agree with @Sandie and @AnT, this is bigger than when Hairy met Meghan...it has turned into a proxy battle of the culture/political war--a neo inquisition, in the US and in the UK (and Europe to some extent). There are no innocent bystanders--only believers and heretics.

The Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Roman and Universal Inquisition still exists, though it is currently called the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

I am thinking (&, quite honestly) this interview is mostly the typical fluff and M just dishes out her usual word salad playing the victim, poor me, they wouldn't let me do this or that etc. And then H just drones on about protecting his family and comparing them to Diana.
and everyone, afterwards, is saying, that's it? That's what all the hype was about?

I wonder how H&M are being paid - you know they are receiving compensation in some way. They wouldn't do this for free. O is the one who will benefit the most financially. Maybe O will give them a vacation on one of her Hawaii properties or use of a private jet or a list of contacts that will hire them to do some appearances.

I truly hope, when this is over, that the Harkles looks like whining fools and O looks like a pompous has been (which she is).

That link you provided to the Archie pic on Twitter was broken from my end but I did a search and was able to get on that page anyway.

Here's one of the views:
https://mobile.twitter.com/RandolphNews1/status/1367899471216922627/photo/1

This picture is quite obviously old as Meg has had at least 5 or 6 different faces since this was taken. The hairstyle with the gigantic shiny forehead harkens back to some Zoom chats of last spring, but the teeth and the nose have gone through several iterations since whenever this was. Gotta be more than a year ago since this is a group shot in a living room with no signs of pandemic protocols anywhere. She is sitting in a lavishly appointed living room on a sofa with two children, a girl and a boy. The girl is trying to feed 'Archie' a piece of candy or something carrot-shaped which he has no interest in and is too young to have anyway. Any idea who these kids are? They aren't Mulroneys.

Impossible not to notice that Meg is wearing a nearly identical shirt pattern to the little tyke in the foreground, except his stripes are horizontal and hers are vertical. It's hard to look at. As for the kid, he looks age-appropriate to an almost-2 year old as 'Archie' is supposed to be now . . and lookee! He's even got tufts of curly, quasi-red hair. Just a tinge of reddish, not carrot-top. Mostly brown. But if this is 'Archie'--who is the baby we've been seeing up til now? .. Duck Rabbit Archie is NOT this kid. No steaming way. It's been 9 months since we've seen that baby, but even so, I hardly think that he went from being a beefy young man with duck fuzz blond hair into this very lanky dark-haired child with a pseudo-Afro. Kids do thin out as they grow and start walking and running around but in my opinion DR Archie was already walking nearly a year ago.

This musical baby switcharoonie game she loves to play is a direct insult on our collective intelligence, our eyesight and our knowledge of child development. It's so obvious that she is over at someone else's home and these are the 'friend's' kids.

Also, quizzically enough, on this same Twitter feed, there's a high dudgeon 'Defense of Meghan' Angry Tweet from Patrick J. Adams, Mugsy's former co-star on Suits . . the same guy who simulated banging her in the file room. He probably had her in real life, too, since Meg is so indiscriminate with her manky favors. Even if he screwed her for a while, it should be evident to him more than anyone, since he worked with her closely for seven years, that she is a human grenade. Why is he coming out of the woodwork now to her defense after all this time? He may have attended the wedding with others from the Suits cast (cannot remember), but actually it was PJA's decision to leave the show that resulted in Meg's being let go as well. Rachel Zane only existed as the office sl*t PJA's character was banging, so when he left, she had no further reason d'etre on the show. The characters got married in a big wedding on the show I understand . .but it was only due to PJA's career choices that Mugsy was unemployed and therefore free to move to London without a job and stalk the Daily Mail offices for pap shots and so forth.

Is there a shared Sunshine Sachs connection? I just don't get it. Patrick J. Adams ought to be adding his voice to the witnesses in support of Mugsy's bullying ways. He may have not experienced it personally, being a man who she was trying to get self-promotion out of, but I'm sure her imperious behavior with PAs and others she considered beneath her was a daily occurrence, and probably documented, too.

Jessica- awhile up you posted a comment that the RF should release something stated that they are concerned about H&M's mental health. That is an EXCELLENT strategy. For one thing- It's absolute fact, for another thing, it sounds very high road and lastly, it will influence people into seeing that they are both extremely mentally ill.

I think Will tried to foray into this by saying he was 'concerned' about them awhile ago during some of their antics. I don't remember what.

Prince Charles himself needs to make some kind of commentary about his concern over the mental health of his Harry and Harry's wife. They need to not be afraid of anything H&M will say like oh for example, that the Queen wears depends or that Charles drinks a pint of gin a day. The mental health focus is perfect. Hear, hear to Jessica!!!

Now if only we can get the word to the RF to start this approach.

I see Meghan's 'friends' are out defending her. Here's a little note for them- many narcissists do have friends and people they are nice to. That Lindsay Roth, she seems incredibly submissive as does that Daniel makeup artist. Gayle King, well she is useful to Meghan so Meghan would have been extremely sweet to her. What's interesting are the experiences of those Meghan no longer needs, including her own family. Aids, people of that sort are whipping posts for a narc. Those people made her look bad, those people didn't get her clothes right, etc, etc. And that is why the statements of these palace aides is so important. I hope the Royal Family keeps moving forward full steam to protect themselves.

Maybe she's drumming up hope for a live Archie on the Oprah interview.

When I first saw the photo, before I took a few more seconds to study it, I had thought it was another promotional clip from Oprah herself. Learning that the photos had been deleted sealed the deal. As I've said, there's something clever about the timing of the "leak" and the pointless deletion. This wasn't an innocent accident.

The most likely theory is that Oprah/CBS is behind it -- for obvious reasons. I don't think "Archie" will appear in the interview at all, but everyone who tunes in just for the chance to see him won't know that in advance.

For a few minutes, I entertained the possibility that The Firm is behind it (and was probably also behind the "tufts of red hair" comment from two years ago). If a credible source says that "Archie" looks a certain way, there's going to be real dissonance when he comes out looking very, very different. Perhaps the Harkles have a new child actor all lined up and this is a way to sabotage them. After giving it more thought, however, I don't think it's very likely. Those are obviously old photos. The The Harkles would be able to say that in their own defense. If the BRF made a move like this, they'd be much savvier about it.

One thing I don’t understand is why the press, especially the British press, hasn’t brought in an expert on the monarchy to counter some of these claims about Mugs being boxed up and not allowed to speak.

Mugs keeps crying about not having a voice and being silenced. Why not bring in someone, even a member of Parliament to say “Look, there are simply things members of the RF, either by constitution or convention, just cannot say or do.” A lot of my Americans (not American Nutties of course) simply don’t understand that the British government operates in a very different way than our own.

Remember just after the Harkles were married and Mugsy put her foot in it when they were Ireland and she talked about abortion? This Time article below spells it out in very clear language. It’s not so hard, so why hasn’t any media outlet stepped up in the middle of this mess to point this out?

@Embre,

See my comment just above re. 'Archie' suddenly popping up in a Twitter photo. (link included).

If this is Archie as he looks now, this is problematic in that the Meg in that photo is not much how SHE looks now. This photo could be two years old or more. This was certainly not shot in the last few weeks in Montecito in the midst of a pandemic. There are two older children in this photo . . whose? No, this is a group photo from some time ago.

If she's saying this is Archie, then I don't know who we have been seeing before now. Markle appears to suffer from some form of Narcissistic blindness wherein all other people, especially small ones, are interchangeable, so much so that no one else is going to notice that her baby suddenly has features that are 180 degrees different than what he had the last time 'she showed him'.

As people here point out, narcs don't restrict their love bombing to a potential romantic partner. They do it to friends as well.

Narcs can be fun to have around and very generous in showering friends with gifts and hugs and handwritten notes, and so on. What they require in return is admiration, adoration, blind and complete support when they need it in whatever form they need it. They definitely do require you to tell the world about your good deeds, your wonderful gifts, your thoughtfulness, and so on.

But I doubt that any of these friends spend a lot of time with Meghan.

I just find their support of her rather shallow and immature. They just ignore anything that does not fit the required narrative and enthusiastically support a narrative that obviously must be false and will attack anyone that the narc requires them to. A healthy relationship does not require this behaviour, and blind effusive adoration is not love.

The tweets from the Patrick guy come across as a drunken rant to me!

The latest Blind Gossip post is about someone in the fashion industry who was an A-lister for decades but now can't find a single celebrity "friend" to help him now that he has fallen on hard times. (Most of the guesses were Andre Leon Talley.) I couldn't help reading it in the light of Meghan's arrogant campaign of victimhood.

As Scorpiotwentythree wrote on her own blog on Tumblr, the Harkles have made enemies of every royal house in Europe (and possibly other continents). And there are consequences to this, which will eventually bite them in the butt.

The royals, aristos, and "old money" millionaires of the world ". . . have the power to shut doors. At any moment, anywhere in the world, to anyone they have decided to target. They can make sure that somebody on the other side of the globe will overnight find themselves a complete pariah. Deals will mysteriously fall through. Entry into certain venues and elite circles will be denied all of a sudden. Invitations will dry up or simply never be issued again. Oh, so you thought you could hang out on Prince so-and-so´s luxurious yacht like every summer, come stay at some aristo´s estate like you did for two decades, go to this and that annual grouse shoot...?... yeah no, sorry, oops, suddenly everyone is too busy or declining to receive you as a guest."

It was bad enough after Meghan offended Jessica Meyer, who was "just" the daughter of a former studio head in Hollywood. Will we ever know how much her inability to land acting roles was truly due to her mediocre acting skills and bad reputation . . . and how much was actually due to being blacklisted?

A few years ago, CDAN had a blind about a Hollywood actor with a famous sibling who seemed primed to be one of the next A-listers. But his film career turned out lackluster at best. According to the blind, the reason was that he had sexually assaulted a woman who happened to be friends with some of the biggest movie distributors in Europe. The friends didn't distribute any movie that included the actor and it soon became clear to producers that he was profit napalm. But there's a happy ending for our alleged assaulter: Now that streaming has gained more ground, he is being hired for roles again.

Circling back to Scorpio's point, the Harkles may think they're powerful and protected in Hollywood, which is a universe away from the world that Prince Harry grew up in. They have Netflix! They have Spotify! They have CBS! They have Oprah! But all it takes is offending one wrong person for the rug to be pulled out from under you. And the Harkles have offended so many people.

Their fall might not take as long as Andre Leon Talley's did, but it will be an entertaining long haul.

Or blindness when it comes to herself, if she thinks she still looks like that.

I suppose that the most benign explanation is that Meghan asked her friend to post those photos not to pass the toddler off as Archie, but to make us all think of Archie. And her reasons would have been to drum up hype for the interview and to get some glee out of gas-lighting us. She could "honestly" claim that she never said he was actually Archie. We all just assumed he was. Silly us.

Re: Sussex vs. Wales

In a previous comment, I shared a friend's theory that the Harkles are getting to keep the Sussex titles to prevent Meghan from flouncing around as a "Princess of Wales."

But I just visited Scorpiotwentythree's blog again and saw that that would not necessarily be the case. Not if the BRF were smart about it. Meghan won't get to swan around being "Princess Harry of Wales" if the Palace and all the British newspapers insisted on calling them Earl and Countess of Dumbarton in every press release and story going forward. And why stop at the borders of the UK? Let media all over the Commonwealth and in Europe do the same!

Earl and Countess of Dumbarton

I think the juiciest parts of this fluff interview have been outed. Megalo has never had anything interesting to say and she never will. OW is behind this sorry mess. It’s a cash cow and Megalo wants her cut. Nothing of significant importance will come out: it will be like a fart in a windstorm.

I haven’t seen any A-lister defending Saint Meg. The bullying accusations are serious and won’t go away no matter how many toys she throws out of the pram. Twelve people - and counting- have accepted to come forward. She seems like a crazy person lashing out and trying desperately to cling to her victim status. It’s not working. A lot of noise to distract but eventually she will be gone after the OW broadcast.

In a way, I understand the overwhelming generosity of the BRF towards this lowlife z-list nobody. They all saw it coming. They knew- like most of us - that she will do what she’s doing and that Hapless won’t be able to stop her. How do you deal with such an ill bred malignant narcissist? The long rope handed to them has proved itself useful. Undoubtedly, they have more on her than she has on them. The bullying revelations and the blood diamonds scandal are the tip of the iceberg. The titles won’t be taken away. No vindictive actions will take place. But she will be ruined eventually. Her rage will eat her up. The BRF will ignore her and her accusations and she will end up ranting on and on like the lunatic that she is and only fellow lunatics will be listening. However, she will cost the BRF a lot of money.

@Enbrethiliel, 👏👏👏

My tin tiara theory: I tend to think Charles is at core a dangerous idiot about international political layers, even if he loves poetry and trees. As a titled sap who will be the next English king, he is of huge interest to many big shots, including not nice sorts. I think he can be led, coerced, convinced, duped, fooled into believing doing something heinously wrong would save trees and make life pretty.

I think he was conned into willing submission, I think Meghan slid in for that reason on the convenient dumb and desperate Harry train. I think they work in tandem. Hence, two unemployed dimwits who produce nothing have a mansion, millions in deals, and show no obvious concern about producing anything for a paycheck. Even her mysterious mama has nine million from Charles.

Their only activity is scheduling videos to talk about how awful the royals are. They got a million for it at a banking dinner, etc. Talk, talk talk about the same subject over and over and over. Like propaganda, because it is all they do.

They are embraced by the NYTimes, and CBS. Why? Remember they are unemployed, untalented non-producers. A friend from Bel Air who is the daughter of now-late tv producer says it has not gone unnoticed that the Harkle lifestyle exceeds that of many hardworking, noted industry people. Yet they do nothing but appear in these peculiar videos.

Now, a direct rather frenzied attack on the palace as an institution, being answered only by ex staffers led by a Cambridge employee. Where is Charles?

I think we are going to see how the factions are formed soon, and I admire William for his fortitude.

Thanks for posting the latest from the Oprah interview.

Oprah is using leading questions for MM. Oprah makes the statement, and then that gives Mm an opening to begin her heart-rending account of how badly she was treated.

All MM has to say is, "Yes, that's right, Oprah," and begin her little speil. That's not how journalists do interviews, because the interviewer (Oprah), is showing her own bias toward MM and leading her into Her answers.

Oprah is fully in control in this part of the interview.

One died, one I cut out of my life completely... and the other two I am still dealing with.

I'm a strong character but they have almost destroyed me.

@JennS,

for your files. Apologies if someone posted this yesterday. Note the bolded last line (my bolding). It reminded me -- could it be we will hear more about those funny funds as well? is that another reason for M's frenzy?

William and Kate dread getting mixed up in Harry and Meghan’s ‘soap opera’
March 4, 2021 | 11:53am

Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are “surrounded by goodness” — and don’t want to get involved in the “soap opera” surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, close family sources tell Page Six.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are dreading the uncomfortable attention that is about to hit the royal family thanks to his brother and sister-in-law’s decision to sit down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, which is scheduled to air Sunday.

“William and Catherine could not be more discreet, they don’t want to get involved in this public bitch fest, but I am sure that William is desperately sad about all this,” one royal source told Page Six.

“Even when Harry spoke about the fallout with William, there was no briefing from them. And by saying nothing, that is the smartest move.”

William and Kate, who have been in pandemic lockdown at their Norfolk home with their children, George, Charlotte and Louis, make it a point to listen to the advisers around them, while “it appears that Meghan and Harry are listening to no one,” the source said.

“They don’t wish to elevate this soap opera — it’s honestly like watching Elizabeth Hurley in ‘The Royals,'” the source added.

“William and Catherine are surrounded by goodness, they have the Middletons, Carole and Mike, Pippa and her husband, James, and James Middleton and his fiancée, Alizee. They’re such a grounded, happy family.”

As Page Six revealed, William and Harry now barely speak and are believed to communicate by What’s App messages.

It was a senior palace aide, American Jason Knauf, who reported Markle to Buckingham Palace HR for alleged bullying of staff, leading the palace to launch an unprecedented probe into the complaints on Wednesday.

He now runs William and Kate’s royal foundation but had previously worked for both William and Harry.

The repetition of the word "bully" is interesting. I'm reminded of Scott Adams's analysis of the 2016 campaigns of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. He said that Jeb Bush's campaign died the second Trump called him "low-energy" because the label stuck. Meanwhile, Clinton had some success pinning the word "dark" on Trump, though not enough to win. The trick is getting people to associate a word with the person you want to take down.

We Nutties have been talking about Meghan for years, but I haven't noticed the word "bully" and its other forms showing up with the frequency it has been getting lately. We prefer "narcissist" -- and indeed, it's more accurate. But now I wonder whether "bully" is more damaging.

"Narcissist" is a little accessible and almost clinical. Many people who were chewed up and spit out by narcs may never even hear the term. Or if they do, they don't get past the classical Greek association to the descriptions written by numerous psychologists and fellow victims. Similarly, many others who have never experienced being used as narc fuel may have even more inaccurate associations. Such as anyone who is rich and seemingly unapproachable. By that standard, the BRF look more narcissistic than the down-to-earth Harkles who can take a joke with James Corden.

"Bully," on the other hand, is a PR salvo that is sticking. We may not all recognize a narcissist when we interact with one, but we all know what a bully is. The word calls up bad memories of big, dumb boys and cruel, petulant girls -- the people who made our lives miserable in school and whom we're happy to see get what's coming to them. Whoever planted the word "bully" is setting Meghan up for the sort of fall that fits the anti-bully script that is in everyone's mind.

This new pic of Archie looks like the one in the pain-by-number release. I agree that Nutmeg doesn't look right, but I can see where he could be said to resemble both of them. Problem is, Duck Rabbit Archie was darn near this size back then, wasn't he?!

A retweet from Dan Wootton, a comment from a Tim Shipman:

A reminder: It is possible to think BOTH that royals/courtiers are dinosaurs ill equipped to deal with the mental wellbeing of staff/members AND that some who marry into it ought to have more respect for the institution and the staff and that not everything is all about them

"paint" not pain, but that sort of fits, too, ha!

These are the tweets from Patrick J Adams...

*Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits. From day one she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige and power accrued.

*She has always been a powerful woman with a deep sense of morality and a fierce work ethic and has never been afraid to speak up, be heard and defend herself and those she holds dear. Like the rest of the world, I have watched her navigate the last few years in astonishment.

*She fell in love, moved to a new country, became a household name across the entire globe and began the difficult work of trying to find her place in a family dynamic that can at best be described as complicated and at worst, seemingly archaic and toxic.

*It sickened me to read the endless racist, slanderous, clickbaiting vitriol spewed in her direction from all manner of media across the UK and the world but I also knew that Meghan was stronger than people realized or understood and they would regret underestimating her.

*And then they welcomed Archie. And on any sort of decent planet that would be a time to stop sharpening the knives and let these two people enjoy the magical early months and years of starting a family. But we don’t live on that planet and instead the hunt continued.

*It’s OBSCENE that the Royal Family, who’s newest member is currently GROWING INSIDE OF HER, is promoting and amplifying accusations of “bullying” against a woman who herself was basically forced to flea the UK in order protect her family and her own mental health.

*IMO, this newest chapter and it’s timing is just another stunning example of the shamelessness of a institution that has outlived its relevance, is way overdrawn on credibility and apparently bankrupt of decency.

*Find someone else to admonish, berate and torment. My friend Meghan is way out of your league.

Ok forget release the kraken its time to release princess anne. Imagine the netflix special, PA come to Meghan manner to teach those two a little respect. Its a two week live feed since she is coming from the UK to California and needs to quarantine. She brings her horsewhip of course. Harry immediately knows whats coming and pees in his pants, cowering behind the shabby chic California relaxed sofa (available at Macy's) Anne makes him clean it all up with Markle's favorite wig. And the dress down begins, literally. After b****slapping Megs, the Narc from Montecito immediately strips down to reveal the iconic moonbump (now being merched on Meghan's cracked mirror)and what looks like a little, well male part. Who knew. And ratings are flying, as is the horse whip. By week two, Princess Anne has redecorated with english Chintz and stacks and stacks of books. Wait, there's a knock on the door. Its Daniel the make up artist disguised an Uber Eats driver. He received an SOS on one of Meg's many disposable phones. Upon seeing Anne, he flees, dropping the oatmilk lattes in a puddle by the front door. Oprah and Gayle show up as reinforcement but one look at the horse whip sitting by the front door, they jet off to David Geffen's yacht to avoid the chaos.

Elsewhere in London, Prince Philip remains hospitalized. Upon watching the documentary, he laughed so hard he fell out of bed and broke a hip. As he was wheeled into surgery, he was heard saying "That was f***ing amazing. Anne you were always my favorite; it is so worth it!!"

At the end of two weeks, Princess Anne grabs Prince harry, still cowering behind the couch, by the ear and walks him out the door, giving one last kick with her steel tipped riding boots at the garbage that lay groveling on the floor. Ding Dong. One last visitor before she goes. Yes its mild meek accountant from the Oxnard IRS office. He is with the sheriff and is here to arrest Megs for tax evasion. Anne looks at the camera and winks and rides off into the sunset.
D1, the celebs coming forward to defend Meghan are the Oprah wannabees. They want in with the big O!, Due to the pandemic need work and so they are shouting on Twitter. They are in entertainment, this is basically their job.

As for her weird college friend, I just pity her.
I'm guessing the affair partner was Patrick. And Meghan was the one that got away.

@Miggy And everyone starts to ask, "Who is Patrick J Adams?!" LOL

Seriously. People need to consider these sources. That woman who was all, "This was Meghan 5 years ago. blah blah blah... " Doesn't she have ties to CBS?

And that Patrick guy. No one knew who TF he was until he opportunistically lept to MM's defence.

A Quiet Interlude

Not much appears to be going on. Living Legends came and went without fanfare ... what's the next event?   Super Bowl - Sunday February 11th?  Oscar's - March 10th?   In the mean time, some things are still rolling along in various starts and stops like Samantha's law suit. Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

As Time Passes and We Get Older

I started thinking about how time passes when reading some of the articles about the birthday.  It was interesting to think about it from the different points of view.  Besides, it kind of fits as a follow up the last post (the whole saga of can the two brothers reunite). So there is the requisite article about how he will be getting all kinds of money willed to him from his great-grandmother.  There were stories about Princess Anne as trustee (and not allowing earliest access to it all).  Whether or not any or all of this is true (there was money for him and/or other kids) has been debated with claims she actually died owing money with the Queen paying the debts to avoid scandal.  Don't know but I seem to remember that royal estates are shrouded from the public so we may not (ever) know. However, strange things like assisting in a book after repeated denials have popped up in legal papers so nothing is ever really predicable.   We are also seein...

The Opening Act of New Adventures in Retail

I keep thinking things will settle down to the lazy days of spring where the weather is gorgeous and there is a certain sense of peacefulness.  New flowers are coming out. increasing daylight so people can be outside/play and thinking gardening thoughts.  And life is quiet.  Calm. And then something happens like a comet shooting across the sky.  (Out of nowhere it arrives and then leaves almost as quickly.)   An update to a law suit.  Video of the website is released (but doesn't actually promote any specific product which can be purchased from the website).  A delay and then jam is given out (but to whom and possible more importantly - who did not make the list?).  Trophies almost fall (oops).  Information slips out like when the official date of beginning USA residency.  (now, isn't that interesting?) With them, it's always something in play or simmering just below the surface.  The diversity of the endeavors is really ...
