A New Year

So often in life at the start of new year, there is this tendency to focus on what changes will be made in the upcoming year.  So we create this list of what we will start to do and what we aren't going to do any more.  This year is going to be so wonderful and better than the last one.  Or so we plan (giggle - like we really have all that much control over external forces which grind forward like a glacier over our intentions?).

Apparently January 17th is known as Ditch your New Year's resolutions day.  Oh well.  Carry on.

Pivot away from the future:

So I was thinking about the past year in general and how crazy it was for myself, friends and family outside of Nutty life.  Great drama.  From that, I started thinking about what this year has been for the Royal Family.

The first Christmas without Prince Philip.  The great Jubilee the likes of which we won't see again.  The Queen passed.  That was huge and emotional.  And some interestingly phrased announcements, or some omissions(?),  from the Palace.  Plans are in motion for the coronation.  People are moving on.

And then, there was the couple who live (should we say allegedly?) in Montecito.  What changes in their lives?  More people have come and gone. A few more pictures of the kids.  Many, many photos of them out and about, some familiar and others are new.  Lots of things have leaked out while others leapt out in Netflix.  People are starting lists to track the lies - hardly a positive move to make one look good.

The Andrew Wallenstein's Variety article was a tad stunning in some ways.  It came at a time of year  when there is a focus on nice articles which are positive human interest, tug at heart strings and lovely photo ops of how public people are celebrating the holiday season and being doers of charitable deeds.  Instead, he talked of how bored people will be with the pity party it's not my fault, I have awful family members  (and, ours is a love story unlike any other was or will ever be).  And that's a serious roadblock to explain away in any and all future pitches - whether they be Hollywood, tech, political aspirations or a direction we don't know about yet.

On the heels of that, the recent article by Joanna Weiss and then that Spiked piece. Notice how the sugars don't seem to have turned on Variety the way they have the Joanna piece (demanding an apology).  That's interesting because the people who read Variety are people the couple appear to want and need to move up to the next levels or forward after all this.  That won't be an easy to bury on the net.

We are seeing a distinct rip tide of public articles pulling them down and farther from the coastline of positive high end pr of picture perfect attire, sunsets in the background in a wonderful (controlled for public viewing) life.  No longer is it just this or that British paper.  No, the negative articles are seeping into the US markets now.  And that, is trouble my friends.  Right here in Montecito.

Happy New Year to all Nutties.

I never thought the loathsome twosome would still be stirring up so much trouble this many months and years after their farcical virginal-white wedding pageant.

I do hope 2023 sees the back end of them and everything they represent.

Amen.
I’ll be back…but I want to leave this here. 😁

Lady C’s parting words for 2022 from her latest video, and what she’s alluded to in her last video.

I quote…

We’ll see Maggot in her unshorn glory. Depend on it. Maggot is going to be revealed who she truly is and that’s going to be something worth seeing….

I have an idea how or what’s going to happen..but I’m keeping my own counsel on that. 😃

Dr David Starkey (my favourite historian) said, King Charles doesn’t have to do a thing….he’s waiting for the Duo to destroy themselves. He keeps his hands clean. 😃

Have a Happy and healthy New Year Nutties wherever you are! 🎉😁🎉

Happy New Year Nutties!

Prediction for 2023?

1. Will & Kate and their children will continue the royal tradition. True class.
2. Spare will underwhelm. I am wondering if Harry will do his interviews solo. Wish he would ditch the claw and stop dishing up word salad. No one wants to hear millionaires complaining about their "struggles".
3. I think the coronation will mark a turning point in media coverage. The royal family is waiting for the book to drop. I bet they have copies of the manuscript already. I am looking forward to the kings actions after the book release. I wonder if denials will come from the royal family or "sources close to the rf it" as per the mockumentary.
4. The next California crisis will be the children. Nannies, neighbor's, etc al can't be silenced indefinitely. Especially if paychecks are delayed.
5. Divorce? I think they will live separate lives but remain married for a while. I can't imagine anyone else marrying either one. Who knows, stranger things have happened.

CDAN has a blind about H having medical crisis with failing hair plugs. His scalp and her face look different in each appearance. Pathetic.
5. Could 2023 bring tax troubles to their brands aka scams?

Happy New Year, Nutties!

Harkle drama has been shelved for me as I enjoyed Catherine’s Carol service and the admittedly bittersweet knowledge that the psycho responsible for the senseless butchery of four young people in Idaho has been apprehended. I am divesting myself of much mental energy wasted on the Sussex traitors. We know, as the Royal family must that the book is going to be savage. Hazmat has chosen his side. All of the RF’s worst fears regarding Henry have been realized. Whatever regrets they have about him personally as a former loved member, the reality is that he is hopelessly damaged and not all there. He is sadly, a liability and a broken failure. On a professional level they must disavow him as unsalvagable. Charles had his opportunity, when the lad was 13, 14, to steer him in a different course more matched to the spare’s fragile mental state and limited abilities. He should have been given some practical skills away from court and never pressured to follow in William’s footsteps. He needed a rigorous vocational education and life out of the spotlight. He didn’t get his needs met when it would have benefited him and now he is as he is. That will not change now. Harry is all the institutional and parenting failures come home to roost. It’s too late now and he must be cut out. Sad but necessary. I wonder how many more New Years he will Be around to see the way he is going. He is incapable of helping himself now and that is his tragedy…and his family’s.

It’s like Lion in Winter—-human failures endlessly repeating.

Haz is trapped in his own perpetual hell… but at least we here have an opportunity for a fresh start. Best wishes to all for 2023.

@Hikari,

I think you're quite wrong about Hairy. It's not the institutional and parenting failures come home to roost, as you say, it's Hairy. He's not a good person. This has been evident from the time he was very young.

He tries to blame other people for his failures, but we all know that one is ultimately responsible for one's life choices. After all, serial killers have brothers and sisters who grow up perfectly normal.

The NY Post article may have been copied from The Times:

Exclusive: Harry’s tell-all memoir won’t spare William
The Duke of Sussex’s impending book is expected to go easy on his father, the King, but may sour his troubled relationship with his brother for ever

Spare is the story of a troubled young prince estranged from his family, ghostwritten by an author known for his expertise in fraught father-son relationships.

But the Duke of Sussex’s memoir is expected to let the King off lightly — and focus more on his frosty relationship with the Prince of Wales.

A source with knowledge of the book, which will be published on January 10, told The Sunday Times they did not see how the brothers’ relationship could ever recover.

“Generally, I think the book [will be] worse for them than the royal family is expecting,” they said. “Everything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than I had expected, but it’s tough on William, in particular, and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside. There are these minute details, and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can’t see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.”

In the Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary last month, Prince Harry claimed his brother “screamed and shouted” at him during the crisis talks in January 2020 about the Sussexes leaving the UK.

The source added that the book explores in depth Harry’s grief about his mother’s death: “The overall impression is that this is a man who has never recovered from the trauma of his mother dying so young, and then along comes Meghan and he projects on to her a parallel with Diana.”

It is written by JR Moehringer, a Pulitzer prizewinning former journalist who also ghosted Andre Agassi’s bestselling autobiography.

Harry, who will read the audiobook himself, has donated some of the proceeds from Spare to charities including Sentebale, an organisation he co-founded in memory of his mother to help children and young people in Lesotho and Botswana affected by HIV/Aids.

Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine and a royal biographer, said she thought the publisher, Penguin Random House (PRH), would be pleased with its focus on Diana.

“He’s got a very good ghost who will write well about feelings, and I think it’s totally fair that Harry should talk about his mother, because everybody else in the world has and they’ve sort of taken her over,” said Seward. “The publisher will know that Diana sells. And you don’t have to say too much — because whatever he says is coming from him.”

Spare will be one of the biggest books of 2023: as soon as it was available to order, in October, it reached No 1 on Amazon both in the US and UK, and has remained near the top of the British charts ever since. Dotti Irving, the literary publicist whose clients have included JK Rowling and who promoted the Booker prize for three decades, said: “What this book has — and this is integral to any really good PR campaign — is a very strong word-of-mouth element.”
Rebecca said…
This book is not even close to being the end of the “H and M” show, either. Alongside further projects for Netflix, the $20 million deal the Sussexes struck with PRH is understood to be for four books in total. The others are currently thought to be a wellness-focused tome by the duchess, a book about leadership and philanthropy, and potentially a Meghan memoir too.

Moehringer is understood to have approached a number of Harry’s friends to research Spare, including his ex- girlfriends, although many are thought to have declined to speak. A significant portion towards the end of the book is also understood to be given over to criticism of the media, especially the British tabloids. Harry, of course, will have to engage with the much-maligned media to promote his memoir, although such interactions have been carefully curated.

The duke will give one major television interview to broadcasters on each side of the Atlantic. In the UK, Tom Bradby, who presents the ITV News at Ten and has known Harry for more than two decades, has landed the scoop. Bradby, 55, became close to both brothers while he was a royal correspondent in the 1990s, and his documentary revealed Meghan’s mental health turmoil. The interview is understood to have been recorded in California, and while its broadcast date is not yet confirmed, it is pencilled in for next Sunday, two days before the book hits the shelves. ITV is tipped to trail the interview from tomorrow.

ITV will have had to negotiate over the timings with the broadcasting giant CBS, which won the US exclusive and will take precedence. Of the two high-profile contenders to win the interview — the news anchor Anderson Cooper, who works for CNN but is also a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS News, and Gayle King, who co-hosts CBS Mornings — Cooper, 55, triumphed and his interview is set also to be broadcast on January 8.

Cooper, a popular presenter who as a member of the Vanderbilt family is almost American royalty himself, shares the couple’s passion for promoting conversations about mental health. He has a podcast about grief and loss called All There Is — his elder brother Carter killed himself in 1988, aged 23, and Cooper has spoken about how his death left his family, especially his late mother Gloria, with many unanswered questions.

King, 68, who is friends with the Sussexes and attended Meghan’s baby shower, was also a strong candidate; she has spoken out in defence of the couple, including over their decision to make the Netflix series, stating that it was not “a reality show”.

Bradby, in particular, will be viewed by the duke as a safe pair of hands. “I think the American interview is driven by Random House and where sales will best be boosted,” said a broadcasting source. “Whereas in the UK, this is will be more about Harry thinking he wants the most straightforward, honest interviewer, and Tom has always played a straight bat. He has had this relationship with the two princes since they were children and remains very amicable with Harry, and one feels that he knows lots of things that he has never used to his advantage.”

The source added that Bradby has a difficult line to tread: “There’s a balancing act here: he has to be sympathetic — which comes naturally to Tom — but he also has to hold Harry to account and make sure he asks the difficult questions where ‘recollections may vary’ with other members of the royal family. And then there’s the fundamental question of why is Harry doing this? A lot of people, particularly among the older generation, will feel he should stay quiet about his family.”

The book will not have a newspaper serialisation in the UK, with a source at PRH saying it felt unnecessary given “the book would sell without one”. Publishing sources say they expect him to give at least one newspaper interview; the New York Times, in which his wife wrote about her miscarriage in 2020, could be a potential home for it in the US.
Rebecca said…
However harsh the memoir’s criticisms of the royal family, the Sussexes are still expected to be invited to the King’s coronation on May 6. The royal family is also predicted to remain tight-lipped about the book in the hope of being seen to retain the moral high-ground, even if there will be considerable background briefing to the press.

“I think they’re just very cleverly saying nothing,” said Irving. “There’s nothing to be gained from washing the royal family linen in public.”

Prince William, Harry won’t reconcile after ‘Spare’ comes out, source says

Prince Harry’s upcoming new memoir “Spare” may spare his father, King Charles, but could cause a permanent rift with his brother, Prince William, according to someone has read the book.

“Spare” comes out Jan. 10 and it may be more shocking to the royal family than they expect, a person with knowledge of the book told The Sunday Times of London.

“Generally, I think the book [will be] worse for them than the royal family is expecting,” the source said. “Everything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than I had expected, but it’s tough on William, in particular, and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside. There are these minute details, and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can’t see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.”
The memoir is set to deepen the rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the British Royal Family.Amazon
Prince Harry said that William “screamed and shouted” at him during the crisis talks in January 2020 about the Sussexes leaving the UK.

Much of the book focuses on Harry’s trauma over his mother’s death, the source added.

“The overall impression is that this is a man who has never recovered from the trauma of his mother dying so young, and then along comes Meghan and he projects on to her a parallel with Diana,” the source said.

Prince William reportedly gets a particularly harsh dressing-down in his brother’s book.
“Spare” is written by JR Moehringer, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who also served as ghost writer for Andre Agassi’s bestselling autobiography.

Anderson Cooper’s interview with Harry to promote “Spare” will air on CNN on Jan. 8.

[My Note: This is bad! But William will be King sooner than later and He can deal with the Spare how he deems!! And Spare might not be "Spared" according to William's wishes].

@Hikari: Very insightful about Hairy not getting his needs met when young. Yes, he was expected to fill in should anything happen to William, so Spare got a partial royal procedure eduction but not an eduction that would benefit him. He should have been sent to a trade school of some sort, rather than Eton where he was an abject failure. Same with Maggot. Mother out of the picture for a dozen years, she should have gotten a boarding school education since her father didn't have any idea how to parent in a healthy way. Maggot should have received training in something useful, instead she was allowed a fantasy of being an actress when she was completely devoid of any acting skills. Those two, Mole and Maggot, deserve each other.

I think that you overestimate what therapy can do for a child that has poor impulse control due to faulty executive function combined with low IQ. We have truly damaged children in school who harm teachers and therapists and family members every day. There are far more children who need to be locked up where they can't damage themselves or others than there are places to put them. We have news stories daily about children killing their mother, their grandmother, younger siblings, peers at school

Years ago, we had children damaged by things like mercury and arsenic and lead along with others like fetal alcohol syndrome and being born to mothers that were addicted to opium, laudanum, and morphine. We had disabilities from the mother contracting viruses while pregnant. Today, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is still with us, as are opiates and other drugs. Counseling and therapy for these children may have been less effective than having a priest pray over them to expel the devil/demons. At least the priestly drama may have had an effect.

I agree that Harry should have had some vocational training; I believe that was the purpose of the military. It could give him the external structure that he lacked internally; sadly, he did not have the mental capacity for it.

Rant: The problem with vocational training in the west is that the skills required for the vocational track are above the IQ of the people that are pushed into it. "Poor teenager. He is 16 years old and can't read or do math at a 7-year-old level. I know! Let's put him in a machining class where he'll have to be able to measure something exactly to several decimal places on several planes, then replicate it on a machine that can kill the unwary!" says no one except "guidance" counselors.

We all agree that Eton wasn't the best choice for Harry, which is easy to say with hindsight. I don't think Harry had a 'fragile mental state' then, aged 13/14. I don't think at the time anyone saw the impact of his mother's death. To the best of my knowledge, I believe that he had years of therapy and was fine. Then he met the witch and it is my belief that she reopened the wound by comparing herself to Diana, pursued by paparazzi and hounded by the press. H couldn't save his mother - no one could have - so he tried to change the future, in a way, by 'saving' his wife. I don't think anyone could measure the extent of H's problems after Diana died and had he been brought up in a different environment, he might well have been healthier mentally. I also don't think he'd be such a wreck had he married a supportive wife like Catherine.

https://metro.co.uk/2023/01/01/psychic-predicts-royal-family-drama-and-china-revolution-in-2023-17942772/

A thorough overview of predictions from Craig Hamilton-Parker at the above link: for the duo, his predictions are:
* She will get her own chat show. (Is he perhaps seeing something like a second season of podcasts on Spotify?)
* Trouble in the marriage, which will lead to separation and eventual divorce. Hapless remains a deeply troubled man.

Also, depression for the King later in the year; something terrible happening to Andrew (attempted suicide); an accident in a royal household involving a fall; illness for one of the royal children.

And then there is this:

"Craig also predicts Kate will carry out a ‘spontaneous’ but ‘touching’ act which puts her life at risk, and she will be viewed as the new ‘star’ in the royal family."
Happy New Year, folks, although can't see there'll be much joy on the * & H front. There's the imminent storm over Spare and that will have barely subsided before it's the Coronation, which can be expected to precipitate enough bile from them to last the rest of the year.

After that, the seas may calm, unless some other tragedy, that they can muscle in on, strikes the Royal Family. Please God, let nothing like that happen.

Thinking about H's mental state:

Here's a bloke who could afford as much of the very best counselling/therapy/psychiatric intervention that money can buy, plus already having the priceless support of a loving father - if he'd really wanted to move on.

Instead of that, it can be argued, he made a choice, at some level, to be led by the nose (or some other part of his anatomy) by a person or persons whose intentions appear downright criminal. He clings to the position he has adopted, that of the severely damaged child, probably because it's familiar and less scary than summoning up the last remaining scrap of free will/courage (others might call it it `guts') that he can find within himself.

It seems ,of course, that he never really grew out of being the unpleasant brat he was as a child.

Thus it's highly unlikely that he will choose the better path in 2023, so the best we can hope is that the pair of them self-combust before the year's out.
Oh, no!

Basically, do interviews, write a book and whinge when we have no idea if any of it is true. I suppose she needs to tell 'her truth'.

* apart from sleeping with her when she was above the age of consent, so not illegal
Opportunities for solid practical/vocational education for kids of school age have long been absent from the English state system and probably the private/independent system as well. I'm not sure how helpful the National Curriculum has been. The best hope was for kids to leave school at 15 and been taken into formal apprenticeships, learning on the job.

The independent sector was no better as they were where those who considered themsleves the `natural rulers' of the country.

There used to be a handful of `progressive' independent schools (I gather Summerhill still survives) beloved of `progressive' parents (ie a different political demographic from those sending offspring to public (ie independent) schools.

H may been OK at Gordonstoun whereas his father should have been sent somewhere more academic.

Also, someone at NF is so stupid to put out a questionnaire about Season 2 of mockmumentary? Maybe NF needs to prove to Maggot that it's a no-go for Season 2. Maggot must be really hounding NF for more air time.

IMO this is the downhill slide for both of them, even if they go to the Coronation. An angry public, and frosty family members will be awaiting them, and gigantic candle to obscure both of them from view. This time Mole will have absolutely no role in the ceremonies, he will only be a spectator, regulated to the middle seats way back.

Sadly, same here. There is a lot of mis-education and waste of public funds providing 'education' to people that are incurring debts of six figures for 'jobs' that pay barely above minimum wage, if that. There is also some controversy at schools that require prequalification to get into programs that require more effort. (This is considered racist, or sexist.) IF a person cannot pass basic literacy and numeracy tests after 13 years of public 'education', what are the odds that they can pass a demanding college course?

I do not know whether Prince Harry is willfully stupid (refuses to exert himself) or really isn't capable. Judging by what he has 'achieved' so far, I am leaning toward the latter. If there were functional apprenticeship programs for people to go into in high school, do you think that he would have been able to become a plumber or, say, a lineman that works on powerlines? (I know this is all speculation because the rich kids don't go into those sorts of programs.)

When I was packed-off to boarding school we had a classmate of whom both his parents had been killed - as far too often happened then - in a car accident. I certainly never noticed any unusual let alone self-pitying behaviour from him and he too was a younger brother.

I am then reminded apropos Spare which I have no interest in, of Paul McCartney's disastrous second marriage. You may recall that his wife alleged that he was violent but of course no one believed with someone as popular as Macca - who had been in the public eye so much for decades - that there was any truth in the allegation. The more extreme the allegation the more absurd looked his accuser. The same will apply to Spare so I say bring it on.

Airing ones dirty washing in public was once seen as demeaning to oneself and of course no one wants to know and our interest in Spare is not out of sympathy but because one can never turn away from a train-wreck.

Happy New Year ladies and may all your Royal wishes be fulfilled.

A PRAYER FOR HAPPINESS

May the Lord make my New Year a happy one...

Not by shielding me from sorrow and pain, but by strengthening me to bear it if it comes.

Not by making my path easy, but by making me sturdy enough to tread any path.

Not by taking hardship from me, but by taking all cowardice and fear from my heart as I meet hardships.

Not by granting me unbroken sunshine, but by keeping my face bright even in the shadows.

Not by making my life always pleasant, but by showing me where men and His cause need me most and by making me zealous to be there and to help...

God, make my year a happy one.

Happy New Year Nutties far and wide!

Thank you for the fresh thread. Things that I think (hope) will happen in 2023:
I still believe my beloved Kraken dropped in KCIII's first speech when he referred to H & * as my son overseas. No title reference, no return, no nothing.
KCIII is powerless to remove the Sussex titles, and to remove them from the LoS. But Parliament can.
The dignificed silence from BP is powerful - the more nothing is said, the more PR statements (* will publish a book) and the royal correspondents fret.

H's book drops in 7 days - it will throw salt in wounds and inflame the masses, who will continue to cry for their removal from the royalty.

As grievence is the Harkle's stock in trade, if the removal comes from Parliament, they have nothing - nothing! They are literally on their own and they wanted to be in the first place.
The People will have spoken and KCIII sadly acknowledges that his son and his wife have wounded the British People. H will always be his loved son - and there is a plot of land on the back 40 at HighGrove should he want to return to his homeland to contemplate his life choices.

One can hope.

God Save the King and his family and given them steel spines and comfort for their spirits in the months ahead.
God save us too!

OT Gratefullness for King Charles & Church of England's leadership remarks for the passing of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI yesterday.

In a statement, Charles paid tribute to Benedict and recalled visiting him at the Vatican in 2009.

He said: 'I remember with fondness my meeting with His Holiness during my visit to the Vatican in 2009. His visit to the United Kingdom in 2010 was important in strengthening the relations between the Holy See and the United Kingdom.

'I also recall his constant efforts to promote peace and goodwill to all people, and to strengthen the relationship between the global Anglican Communion and the Roman Catholic Church.'

Additionally, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, also paid tribute.

It was reported that Pope Benedict's last words were in German and said "Jesus, I love you".

Benedict became the second pontiff in history to visit the UK in 2010 when he met the Queen and made a historic address at Westminster Hall.

Part of above was paraphrased from...https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11589841/Pope-Francis-leads-prayers-Benedict-XVI-Catholics-UK-pray-Mass-services-today.html

[As a Catholic I really appreciate the the respect extended by KCIII and your church leaders and the UK nutties who prayed for him.]

I wish I shared the optimism expressed here about the prospect of King Charles metaphorically erasing the grifters from the royal family, but I have lingering doubts about the strength of his spine with regard to his errant OS. If it is true that the ginger toned down his criticism of his father (and presumably Camilla) in his book and lobs most of his grenades against William, I worry that KC will be less inclined to deal with the Sussexes forcefully.

Where has Karla been? I have missed her.

@Swamp Woman I have serious claustrophobia, too. For years, I drank mini bottles of Jack Daniels in Sprite before boarding, followed by Baileys and coffee after boarding. I rarely drink, so one would think I would be rip-roaring drunk after that, but the adrenalin burned the alcohol up. I decided to talk to my doctor about it and she prescribed me Xanax. It worked wonders for me and I no longer need it for most flights, even trans-Atlantics. I can talk to myself through those times of sheer panic. I strongly encourage anyone who is crippled with this phobia to have that discussion. Uh-Oh, I sound like a big Pharma commercial.🫣

___________________________________

Personally I find it surprising 'just h' emphasized (if true) the negativity and anger against his brother and Katherine rather than what many of us (and BRF commentators) thought would instead be greater bitter feelings and anger toward his father and especially Camilla.

I am almost suspicious if he knew he had to go lighter on his father because immeniently Charles was going to be King and he knew "what side his bread was buttered on'. Perhaps SlimeBall had to cough up some salacious material (in order to attract a publisher) so he threw William under the bus and * made hubby PissyPants bring his purported rival brother down 'a peg' along with pressure to make saint Katherine look petty at best, unroyal in demeanor and not deserving of such esyteem she has currently.

Then I have a horrible feeling that perhaps a palace insider warned the 'un-Prince' that he better go light on Charles//Camilla or the awful duo would indeed be frozen out for a very lonngggg time if not jeopardize his standing and those of his children (which explains why KCIII has not elevated */0 kids with the titles as some writers have suggested).

As for the idea that she was his first (or something), I'm guessing some recollections may differ and some people are trying to keep their morning tea from snorting out their nose.

Seriously though, I have known a couple of people who did not want to accept that their partner had any sort of life with other people before the most significant person on the planet entered their life. Children do not exist for some of these people (really sad for the kid). Ex spouses or partners simply do not exist - in pictures, conversation or touch base phone calls/sorry to hear your parent passed - I always liked them.

hmmm mrs threatening to do a tell all book. at first i thought trying to stir up problems for the family and looking to be paid so there will be no book. but now i’m thinking. the threat is against her hubby. you leave me i go public with all of it and it will be sensational so back to the theme pay me to be quiet. i think she is targeting him to keep him close.

predictions for 2023. spare tire will do meh in sales and the biggest “revelations” will be kate made my wife cry, my brother has a temper, dad was romping with camilla while i was having mental health issues. and my mom talks to me daily (the latter will be the kicker to get people to see what she says 😉)

i first thought the mrs would pull something since the book is not solely about her. now i think she will be completely silent allowing spare tire to feel the brunt of hypocrisy and too much complaining criticism.

i am stuck on what she will do as her big hurrah this year. maybe commentator for eonline! for the coronation (done remotely from cali and not london) because she couldn’t possibly leave archie on his birthday and then abandons him to do coronation coverage with andy cohen.

ultimately if things fall apart too much financially i could see her egging him on to suicide (just saw Brighton Rock and richard attenborough tried to convince his wife to commit suicide which she almost does). she wants the big jackie kennedy moment and she didn’t get the funeral coverage she wanted with the Queen’s funeral. she will make them all pay for not making her the new diana.
I wonder if if the real `beautiful older woman ' who `deflowered' H will ever admit it publicly?

Or whether there are umpteen women who believe they were the first?

I think he, along with a lot of other people, don't understand the fundamental problem. Forgiveness is not the problem. Nor is love. Trust and values are the issues. The duo lie, to everyone and about everything, and attack and seek platforms for their deceitful word salad. For heaven's sake - they were filming everything, including on Crown property without the Queen or anyone else's permission. The problem is character, not forgiveness.

But does he or his wife think they need forgiveness? They think it is the other way round.

And Charles and William are the monarchy. They cannot act on personal feelings alone. It is understandable that TBW may not understand this - but it is astonishing that the hapless one does not.

A reader-contributed blind item on Crazy Days And Nights was revealed on the CDAN site a couple days ago.

I have thought that Harry was probably getting hair transplants and this blind reveal of a reader contribution seems to confirm that the transplants aren’t totally working and he required additional work.

Because appearance is very important to a somatic narcissist like Harry’s wife, it is my guess she is the reason for Harry having hair transplants. They want to try to maintain a youthful image because young people are the audience most likely to buy into their word salad.

Older people sho have more life experience tend to be able to see through their carefully-constructed veneer which requires constant maintenance — including Harry’s hair plugs!

As The Behaviour Panel, Chase Hughes specifically, point out, they make all sorts of claims without any specifics.

In the interview with Cooper, the hapless one said (paraphrased) that a story would come out about the duo and the last line would be 'Buckingham Palace declined to comment', but the entire story was fed to the reporter by the courtiers (his claim of negative briefing). Since neither his father nor brother had offices in BP, is he accusing the Queen of feeding the reporters negative stories about them?

It is a pity that Cooper is anti-monarchy and ignorant about how the royal family operates, so does not challenge this absurd statement, nor ask him to give specific examples.
@Sandie,

I now understand why both Cooper and Bradby were chosen interviewers of Mole! 🤔☹️I had now idea that Cooper was an anti-monarchist.

You beat me to it about Chase from The Behavioural Panel. They’ve analysed 3 episodes from the documockery so far, and he’s said repeatedly that neither Maggot or Mole give any specifics regarding what was supposed to have been said, done etc. He said it’s all imaginary and setting a certain narrative, and this is coming from a man who said he had no idea who Maggot was… not only before she married Mole, but after too! 😳

Thank you GWAH for the shout-out. Much obliged. 😁
I'm getting to the stage when I would like to curse the pair of them for real but somehow I've managed to top short of uttering anything of enough power. Instead, I had a look at this site for some colourful options:

`Go ndéana an diabhal dréimire do chnámh do dhroma' = That the Devil will make a ladder out of your spine.

and

Enjoy!

Personally, I think that leftists like Anderson Cooper are butthurt that people other than themselves are in positions of power.
I saw the clip from his Bradby interview on the evening news. His sheer effrontery in blaming the RF for not seeking to reconcile takes ones breath away. He has not a clue about the role he & his witch-wife have played in this.

In expecting me and my fellow Brits to believe what he says, he insults our intelligence and capacity for rational thought.
Sandie said…
Callahan gets it wrong in her article - she keeps repeating that the publisher has discounted the book. It is the booksellers that are discounting it. The publisher still has the original, steep, published price. Booksellers always get a discount from the publisher, which is how they make a profit. Amazon in particular negotiates a huge discount from the publisher. The discounted price, before the book has even geen delivered to booksellers, is to drive volume, and probably because the booksellers think the book is overpriced for the market.

I think the book will do well, but it will be examined by media on all platforms in a 'spot the lies' game. Anything about Diana will get major attention (and TBW will want revenge for that because her and the great love story she has created must be the centre of attention).

@GABikerGirl: Harry's afro comb over ... we call it 'teasing' and it is done to create volume, and yes it will give hair a 'frizzy' look. I think it is hilarious that his hair has become the star of the interviews. Perhaps he would project a lot more gravitas if he had embraced baldness like his brother, but I don't think TBW can accept baldness. She is stuck at a much younger age ... neither of them can ever be old in any way.

I read that H's book was not going to serialised in the newspapers, but I thought that was just the British press. The reason is that the publishers felt it was unnecessary as the book would sell well and in fact, 'make a splash' IIRC. I'm sure newspapers such as the DM will buy the book and dissect it and we'll have a slew of articles for a week.

That is very interesting information about Anderson Cooper. I have watched a few of his interviews and found him very likeable. I would be interested to see if he buys the word salad BS. I just don't think he will call him out for misinformation about the monarchy and his family.

This is a fascinating story about his deployment to Afghanistan, and I think it is accurate. It is heartbreaking that he has forgotten (rewritten) his past and who he was, and the very close bond with his brother. TBW does not understand any of that because she is not capable. That does not let her off the hook completely, and it does show why she can never be trusted. Neither can he while he is still with her.

Hello and Happy New Year, Nutties,

Thank you all for the excellent comments and links.

I am not surprised that H’s book is kinder to Charles than William — and that Catherine gets “broadsided”. After all, TW is directing the content of the book (and everything else H does). She hates William and Catherine.

Charles has supposedly made conciliatory overtures to the duo, gave her lots of money (with the potential of giving her more in the future) and walked her down the aisle during the wedding extravaganza. TW still has use for Charles. So, she will play nicer with him.

My theories on H&M and the PPOW attacks.
Let's remember the Duchy of Cornwall.

"Historically, the Duke of Cornwall gets most of his income from the Duchy, which owns a significant amount of land and properties in the country - only 13 per cent of which is located in Cornwall. He also gets a share of the Sovereign Grant for his official expenditure.

The grant meets the running expenses of His Majesty’s official household and covers maintenance of the Royal Palaces in England. In total, during the 2021/2022 financial year, the Duke of Cornwall, who was Prince Charles at the time, received more than £24m in income and funding from the grant - £999k this year"

https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/how-duke-cornwall-spends-23m-7590191
...
Information on the Sussexroyal website -2020

"How has the Office of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex been funded up to now?
Since the establishment of The Office of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 95 percent of the funding received for their Office expenditure is derived from income allocated by HRH The Prince of Wales, generated through the Duchy of Cornwall. This provision has been in place since Prince William and Prince Harry first established their offices in support of The Queen, and is the responsibility of The Prince of Wales. This information continues to be available on The Duchy of Cornwall website. Note that they claim: "and is the responsibility of The Prince of Wales"
https://sussexroyal.com/funding/
...

I think H&M believed or thought they were entitled to receive their share of the profits from that duchy as a child of PoW. And when KCIII, in the PoW era, cut H, he went crying to Oprah scared and angry about it.
...

Well, my opinion.
H&M are attacking on Prince William now, because Prince William has inherited the Duchy of Cornwall alone. Harry, being the spare, being born after William, has no right to any income from that duchy. This fact made him and MM realize that achieving the W&C fortune will not be easy for them. In short, H&M will had to play second fiddle to his brother and depend on him in every situation. H wanted to be half and half royal and become financially independent so as not to depend on William in the future. And when PoW doesn't support him, he flared up, got angry, irate.it's clear this is motivated by money/fame.And H is more guilty than MM.

Yep, William now has the Duchy of Cornwall so the duo have no access to the funds that used to support their extravagant desires (all her clothing, etc.).

The King has access to the Duchy of Lancashire (or is it Lancaster?), and it is this income that he would use to support any family, just as the Queen did. (The Queen paid rent for Crown property for cousins, among other things, but also used this income to donate where she saw a need, like a natural disaster somewhere in the Commonwealth.)

If the duo want money from The Crown, there are only two ways they can get it: 1. Be working royals on their terms and get funding, at least for a fully staffed office in the UK, from the Sovereign Grant. 2. Get hand-outs from the King from the Duchy income.

@Karla
By the way, I agree that hapless never thought his father, as Prince of Wales, would stop funding him from the income of the Duchy of Cornwall. They were counting on getting that money (several million pounds per annum), which is why they were happy to 'surrender' the much smaller SG money. I reckon they are still fuming and vengeful because not only did they lose that income, but they also lost the taxpayer-funded security (and had to pay for the renovations at Frogmore Cottage).

They actually lost nothing they were entitled to, but they just do not see it that way.

I also do not think it registered with them that the Queen was dying and what the implications would be for them. All they cared about was a photo op with the Queen and the children, especially Lillibet meets Lilibet (like Arch meets Arch in South Africa).

They actually lost nothing they were entitled to, but they just do not see it that way. And now that they realize how expensive their lifestyle is and their brand is flailing (although I doubt they realize that, especially her - it is the fault of social media, the tabloids, the family ... so they just have to keep talking), they really would like to have those freebies from the King.

Does anyone think he genuinely misses his father and brother and genuinely wants to have them back in his life? I do wish The Behaviour Panel would analyse that short clip. Other body language folk have said he has the body language of a petulant resentful child when he spoke of wanting his father and brother back.

...
But for H&M the Duchy of Cornwall is private. The Duchy of Cornwall is a well-managed private estate, which was established by Edward III in 1337. If I'm right (!??) for H&M the Duchy's money belonged to KCIII when PoW he could afford a monthly income for them without involving costs to British citizens and the Crown. In short, in a family other than the Monarchy, Harry would be entitled to this income as Charles's natural son. It's clear to me when he says: there is a hierarchy in this family. He is not just talking about the fact that PoW will be the future King, but also the accumulation of wealth that PoW has for being born first. Something he thought was easy to achieve in America and now discovers, in his late thirties, that it isn't. Hence the title of the book "Spare". Spare in every sense: power, fame, success and wealth for being second son.I'm just trying to understand your anger, frustration and excess bitterness. When he says I want my dad and brother back. I want a family not an institution. (??) I go to Freud and consider it a
faulty act. Faulty Act is a mistake in speech, in memory, in a physical performance, hypothetically caused by the unconscious.

He unknowingly tells us of his regret and current sadness with his timing.
He also speaks of the silence of the RF. A silence that speaks to him more than a thousand words. A silence that destroys him for believing that he will never be heard, admired or respected as William is.All these thoughts were already in Harry's head, who now realized that he was superior to William when he was in the RF and was the second most loved royalty, below the Queen and ahead of William. And now, William is more beloved than he is. MM was just fuel for his inner fire. What H lacks is the courage to admit his mistake. And he knows that if he does it again it will show the RF that they were right and that their choices were never right. He is a man who lacks self-awareness, humility and a vision of total worthiness. He believes in victimization as a way to garner success and support. Something I believe he inherited from Diana when he tells us: I am my mother's son. Sorry, H must have cognitive dysfunction and his personality is shaped by the group and people around him. If I were PoW, I would give total silence and permanent physical distancing. I'm just saying that MM uses H and H uses MM. No one innocent in this duo.

An interesting post and thread about them being at the coronation. The general view in the comments is that TBW will be separated from hapless and struggle with that; hapless will pay homage with the oath and then resume attacks and whining and lies immediately after the ceremony.

I wonder if King Charles will change the act of homage? The monarch no longer musters an army, drawing on the wealth and vassels of the aristocracy. But, Queen Elizabeth used that act of homage in her coronation, so perhaps I am misunderstanding it?

'After the enthronement proper, the act of homage takes place: the archbishops and bishops swear their fealty, saying "I, N., Archbishop [Bishop] of N., will be faithful and true, and faith and truth will bear unto you, our Sovereign Lord [Lady], King [Queen] of this Realm and Defender of the Faith, and unto your heirs and successors according to law. So help me God." The peers then proceed to pay their homage, saying "I, N., Duke [Marquess, Earl, Viscount, Baron or Lord] of N., do become your liege man of life and limb, and of earthly worship; and faith and truth will I bear unto you, to live and die, against all manner of folks. So help me God.'

Stunning post! So, Faulty Act in his case means he inadvertantly revealed in his body language that he does not miss his family or actually want a close loving bond with his father and brother? I am not sure that I am understanding correctly. I do wish TBP would look at that clip because they are very good at reading verbal language and body language for hidden clues that many others miss.

Same original post about the coronation, but very different views shared in the comments. Very interesting. Most people in these comments think he will not go so far as to swear allegiance.

A lot can happen between now and the Corination that might have a huge impact on what the duo do or don't do.
snarkyatherbest said…
i do agree that if the Duke has to pay allegiance he will and then he will continue to trash the monarchy but that will give the opening to strip titles and LoFS? possibly. these two lie like the breathe. an oath and calls of hypocrisy won’t change that (hypocrisy hasn’t impacted their behavior at all) it will be a long line of reasons why future deals may not come about.

i am curious about the interviews. anderson cooper needs the clicks. cnn is getting decimated in the ratings and while this is on 60 minutes it will be cross marketed. he needs the eyeballs in this interview more than the eyeballs on new year’s eve when he’s drinking with andy cohen. as for Bradby. will this help or hurt them. doubling down on the Harkles may help gets clicks but what about living in the UK? does he get slowly shunned because i would believe aristos want to be more on the side of the current and future king. will he have to tell stories out of school at elegant dinner parties that dis the harkles? all curious.

Mole will never swear allegiance to the King. Mole refused to sing God Save the King at the Queen's funeral; nothing's going to change.
I wonder if they'll even show up because there won't be a place in the ceremonies for Mole and Maggot. Mole demanded a part at the funeral, but the coronation is another thing. They will have to sit with the relatives. They will not be invited to state parties and receptions because they are not working royals. It's the same as before. Rinse and repeat. So Mole and Maggot can attend, and do the same thing as before: throw fits, demand private cars, try to record people, look petulant, fake family get togethers, etc.

Both Mole and Maggot will be lucky not to get some rotten tomatoes tossed their way.

Maggot putting out a memoir: That's in the same vein as she's going to be sitting front and center at the Oscars, and all the other "aspirational" positive-thinking wishful-thinking she's used to. There is no memoir, and never will be one. No publisher is interested in Maggot. It's fake news. Maggot threaten the RF once before (or probably several times) when they drove up to Oprah's house, supposedly to do another take down on the RF, except Oprah wasn't home! What a joke on Maggot.

"Harry talks about having a family as if it is the Holy Grail, rather than the rather basic living arrangement which humankind has chosen to hang out in since the dawn of time. But in elevating it, he may well be letting it slip through his fingers.

He already has a family – but this family has proved itself all too human, a place where members argue and shout and, yes, unless multiple births take place then it’s highly likely that some siblings will be older than others. (Maybe Harry has heard that female cats can have up to eight kittens at once, and believes that this more democratic practice should be adopted by the House of Windsor?)"

"So, Faulty Act in his case means he inadvertantly revealed in his body language that he does not miss his family or actually want a close loving bond with his father and brother?

According to reports, H had already received all the Interview questions beforehand. So, we can assume that he was prepared for the answers, both in the gestures, in the speeches and in the tone used in these.
...
Yea! H is talking to the public. He wants public support back. His responses are mechanical, forced and cold. He moves his nose a lot, gestures with his hands and is uncomfortable. He is resentful, restrained, but the anger is there. When he says: They feel it's better to keep us as villains': Here, he demonstrates that he feels that the RF is winning, as he puts himself in the role of villain, in his own words.
H&M are testing the waters. They want to discover the central nerve to shake the RF. Started with RF racism, then to the media, now BP leaks and the book, I suppose, will hit PoW.
On the other hand, Paul uses his brain and not his mouth. He plays chess, analyzes the pieces and plays. H&M fall apart in NF. Pow brings the family together for a Christmas service to honor the Queen. H&M speak of the coolness of RF. RF shows united front in walk to Christmas service. H&M speak of betrayal, leakage. Jason Knauf is honored.
What PoW learned from Diana and H not. You don't present yourself as a victim, you exploit situations to be the victim. Something Diana used with KCIII's betrayal. PoW knows that the more H beats him up and he proves himself worthy, silent and faithful, the public, at large, will have PoW as the victim of the angry, rabid, vindictive brother. H needs to change his narrative if he wants to win this game.
...

invitation from H&M to the coronation.
rumors on twitter
Harry is a Duke, the highest title in the Monarchy.Duke, in the United Kingdom, is the highest-ranking hereditary title in all five peerages of the British Isles. A duke thus outranks all other holders of titles of nobility. And as such, he must be invited to the coronation.

"Every Titled Royals MUST attend the event, bow & pledge service to the King. This is a matter of constitutional Monarchy. Not just daddy dearest. If they do not attend or bow, they have directly disrespected the Monarch by not pledging allegiance. It will be constitutional ground to take away their dear titles"
" If Harry doesnt show, his dukedom is invalid. If he bows to the Monarchy, he invalidate his woke warrior claims. Its a Win-Win for KCIII"
It’s almost impossible to say at this point if the despicable Mole will 1) be invited to the coronation, and 2) if so, will he attend? If he is invited I’m doubtful he’d attend, he would not only be greeted with an icy silence from the royal family, but being booed by the public. 🫠

I absolutely do not think Mole will ever swear allegiance, even in that tiny Mole brain of his he must see how two-faced and hypocritical it would look?! ☹️😳

Duke of Sussex 'wrong' to claim King Charles not willing to reconcile
Sources said the monarch has kept communication channels open despite the many barbs from California
Victoria Ward

The Duke of Sussex was wrong to claim that the King has shown “no willingness” to reconcile, sources have said.

Prince Harry suggested in an interview to promote his forthcoming memoir that he blamed his father and brother for the ongoing family rift.

He said of the Royal family: “They’ve shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile… I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back.”

However, those close to the King insist that he has always made clear how much he loves both of his sons, keeping communication channels open throughout the last few years, despite the many barbs from California.

Father and son are understood to have remained in contact, meeting several times during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations last June.

Their relationship has occasionally been tense but the King has repeatedly said that his door remains open and that the Duke and Duchess are welcome at any time.

Although he has not watched the couple’s Netflix series and is not expected to read Harry’s book, he is said to have been “deeply saddened” by much of the criticism aimed at the institution by his son and daughter-in-law.

But as several sources have made clear in recent weeks, he has no desire for further acrimony and would always welcome his younger son back into his arms.

One insisted that the King would never let personal hurt prevent him from building bridges, noting that he had insisted the Sussexes were invited to his coronation.

The Duke has given two television interviews, to Tom Bradby, ITV’s News at Ten anchor, and to veteran US broadcaster Anderson Cooper, to promote his memoir, Spare.

On Monday, clips from both were released ahead of the book’s publication on Jan 10.

The full interviews will be broadcast on Sunday and will likely heap further anguish on the Royal family, already braced for the release of the memoir.

In the trailer for ITV, the Duke suggests that he blames his father and brother for the ongoing family rift and says: “They feel as though it’s better to keep us somehow as the villains.”

What the Duke and Duchess want, specifically, from the Royal family is currently unclear.

They are likely still smarting from their perceived treatment in the immediate aftermath of the death of Queen Elizabeth II when Harry was not personally contacted by the King before a public statement was released.

Rebecca said…
There was also confusion over a mistaken Sussex invite to a state reception at Buckingham Palace - never fully explained - and tension over military uniforms.

The King was said to have seen “tremendous flickers of hope” in his interactions with the Sussexes over that period, raising the prospect of a rapprochement.

“In terms of the future, there is hope of a cause for unity,” one source said at the time.

But for the Sussexes, the message of love for Harry and Meghan that Charles included in his first public address as monarch was considered largely for public consumption.

The King has also, thus far, resisted making a decision on whether to allow the Sussexes’ two children, Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, to use the titles of prince and princess, which has caused some acrimony.

He is said to remain undecided on whether to allow his two youngest grandchildren to use the titles, which they automatically received on the death of the Queen.

They are also entitled to be styled His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness.

When the Duchess was interviewed for The Cut magazine last August, she opened up about “losing” her own father, Thomas Markle, but suggested it did not have to be the same for her husband.

However, she suggested that the ball was in Harry’s court, adding: “It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision.”

Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

Publisher Penguin Random House has gone to great lengths to ensure the memoir is not leaked ahead of its publication date.

Preview copies have been minimal and tightly controlled, limited to senior industry figures on a need-to-know basis.

Meanwhile, a huge security operation will be launched next week to prevent stray copies popping up in book shops in any country ahead of its official release.

Spare will be available for download just after midnight, UK time, on Tuesday, and will be in shops that day.

In Australia, which is 11 hours ahead of the UK, copies will only be available on January 11.

In the US, which is five to eight hours behind, the ebook will be on sale on Monday evening - midnight in the UK.

Harry and Meghan’s wellness secrets: don’t wait for the book!
The duke and duchess are to write a guide to staying well. Ben Machell guesses at its contents

Harry and Meghan’s wellness secrets: don’t wait for the book! As part of their multimillion-dollar publishing deal with Penguin Random House the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are, reportedly, working on their own wellness guide. Nothing sells like rich and famous people telling us how to live our lives, and so at some point in the not too distant future Harry and Meghan will share with the world the secrets of how they are able to stay so . . . well.

What exactly are these secrets? How do they stay so well? At this point in time we can only really speculate. Which is exactly what I’ve done. So . . .

Harry’s wellness advice
Affirmations: Soothe anxiety and ground yourself in relentless optimism by starting each day with a series of positive statements about the person you are and the life you lead. For example: “Today is a phenomenal day. I am at peace. My soul radiates and warms the souls of others. I am considerably less bald than my brother, the dopey f***ing egghead. ‘H’ is a totally fine nickname for your wife to unilaterally share with the entire world and definitely doesn’t make you sound like the blond guy from Steps.” Just breathe. Just be.

Financial wellness: With the help of my wife I have come to realise that I have an energy that attracts money, be that from the Universe, the UK taxpayer or excitable publishing and television executives. I deeply wish I could tell you how to do it. But I guess it’s just something you’re born with.

Journaling: This is something that Meghan, who is my wife, and who I am married to, brought into my life. And I am so grateful that she did. Every evening you write down things that have happened to you that day, as well as how you feel about those things. Some people say it’s “just keeping a diary” but it’s not “just keeping a diary” because it’s called “journaling”, so it’s completely different. But being able to leaf through past entries and reflect on the vast range of emotions you’ve experienced is incredibly instructive. Some days, I now see, I can be angry, hungry and horny. Other days I can be horny, hungry and angry. Or just angry. Or a little bit hungry and very horny. See? We are such complex creatures. Accepting this is humbling.

Ice therapy: Experience the invigorating and rejuvenating effects of subzero temperatures by simply walking into a room full of close family members.

Exercise: I’ve always needed a physical outlet, but I worry that too many people in the world today aren’t getting the exercise they need. But what I really want to get across is that you don’t have to go through the hassle of expensive gym memberships etc. In fact, it needn’t be anything more complicated than just showing up to an international-level polo tournament, wild swimming off the coast of your private Canadian island — if that’s where you happen to find yourself — or even, at a pinch, doing some extra vigorous hand gestures while being interviewed for your Netflix documentary. Anyone can do it. That’s my message to you.
Rebecca said…
Philosophy: Recently I’ve been immersing myself in the work of the great stoic philosophers. Seneca. Marcus Aurelius. Russell Crowe in Gladiator. Tommy Shelby. Jonny Wilkinson. Ant Middleton. So much wisdom.

Meghan’s wellness advice
Sound healing: The universe is made of vibrating energies. I’ve always known this, even when I was just this gawky, clever, pretty little girl with a big dream of becoming a wellness trillionaire. But being able to tune into the right vibrations can release soooo much of the tension inside of you. For instance, by listening to just five minutes of one of my podcast episodes, H will become so relaxed and at peace that he will fall fast asleep. It’s so romantic, I know.

Crystal healing: I’d encourage everyone to try this. From first-hand experience I can tell you that covering yourself in precious stones is a genuine mood-enhancer, plus the health benefits are well documented: my late grandmother-in-law regularly wore the Cullinan Diamond on her head and lived to 96.

Yoga: I love yoga. I always have, and I will never apologise for it. Was the idea of a British princess who also loved yoga and who just wouldn’t stop talking about yoga and being photographed doing yoga poses in designer dresses just too much for some members of the British establishment to take? Sadly, I think we all know the answer to that.

Diet: We are flexitarians, which means that during the week we love to stick to a raw, paleo-vegan diet, consuming nothing more per day than we can each fit into our cupped and grateful hands. But life’s about balance. So at the weekend we loosen the rules, let our hair down and really rock’n’roll! I, for example, will drink one (ONE) mimosa and possibly look at some high-res images of cheese, while H will enjoy one of his “power smoothies’’ (ingredients: 15kg Eton mess, three out-of-date army ration packs, 20 Marlboro Reds and a nebuchadnezzar of 2011 Armand de Brignac, blitzed for 30 seconds and downed in one). See? Balance.
Rebecca said…
Sexual wellness: One of the most liberating things about finally being free of our duties and obligations as active royals is finally being able to shine as the sex gurus the stuffy British monarchy never allowed us to be. Some cynical people will say that this is simply us testing the water in advance of trying to muscle in on Goop’s lucrative double-sided vibrator wand action. This is simply not true. However, if you are interested in receiving information on the forthcoming Harry & Meghan range of carbon-neutral, recycled bamboo ball gags, personal massagers and the game-changing his’n’hers “Orb and Sceptre” special, don’t delay and join our mailing list today.

on twitter, there's a photo of Hairy being interviewed by Anderson Cooper floating around in which the traitor's pupils are quite dilated, even with the reflection of a light in his eyes

Also, in the trailer for that interview, Hairy is sniffling quite a bit for such a short period of time.

I keep looking at the photo released by the baker of the birthday party.

Again, as was mentioned previously, no plates or silverware.

But the actual snap is kind of funny in itself. * is holding the baby who looks like she is getting fussy while he is doing something with the top of the cake. And the kid known as Archie is looking off stage - away from the action in front of him.

And it's only one photo.

We don't see anyone else who was supposed to be there. No other young kid getting close to the table to look at this really nice looking cake they are about to partake in. Or an adult.

so the diana thing.
is it in the book?
is it in a future book? don’t they have a four book deal?
is it something they were trying to research but cut out of the final version?
was it a distraction to get charles to pay out the book contract or change content of the book?
would the publishers actually put it in? wording would have to be careful.
and why interview a journalist (which i thought they hate) and not interview sources? is this all to gin up interest in the book.

this sudden development a week before the book lands. smells of pr to me.

The BLG also noticed the photo of Mole feeding baby Archie, was wearing a shirt, (not like it’s not potentially messy) and with no visible sign of actual food! 😂Plus just to prove the photos are staged, there’s also a frame containing their marriage vows, (behind Archie) and a copy of a magazine (I can’t remember which one!) Maggot featured in. 🙄

@Rebecca I don't think the VW piece is true. She makes several statements that I've seen in dispute here and elsewhere, including the following:
- Harry was contacted before the Queen's death
- They were never invited to the state reception, and they knew it
- The children automatically have the right to be given titles upon the ascension of Charles, but not the titles themselves (i.e., at the Monarch's discretion).

That reminds me of the story of the Queen's coronation. During the rehearsal, Philip had to pledge his fealty to his wife and monarch, and touch the crown and kiss Elizabeth. Elizabeth didn't like the way Philip was performing his role, so she said something like "Don't be silly Philip. Do it like you mean it". LOL

I wonder what Charles will be saying to his second son in the same situation.

I thought of that (I do admit I first thought of something from one of the Godfather movies though).

Because he is family, he gets to kiss his father on the cheek as lesser nobility get to kiss the king's hand.

When I read that originally, it felt like the air got sucked out of the room. Because - this, in some ways, is the dress rehearsal for Prince William. (Feel that air go?)

Thank you for the clarification. ❤️I have a doubt, if you can help me. I think MM will not be able to wear a tiara as she is not a senior working member of the Royal family and tiaras are only allowed for women who are in the service of the Monarch. Is this correct?
abbyh said…
Not a clue about the tiara* but you could be right about that on a technical sense. I suspect the topic will pop up closer to the date. I bet who would know would be Lady C. And if she didn't know off the top of her head, I suspect she knows who to call for all protocol questions.

Emotional blackmail is always possible in the same way it worked in the past (people repeat behaviors which were successful and less likely to repeat the unsuccessful ones). But, sometimes people draw lines and let chips fall.

I really liked what you said upthread about the differences between how 5 makes claims and the response by PW as a show of family, unity within the larger monarchy family and so on. A strategic analysis dissecting the differences between the two. nice.

@Karla. I loved your insightful comments about H and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

@Snarkyatherbest - That was a very fun dream sequence you posted at 11:46 PM. I had no problem visualizing those scenes playing out, in real life. I think Mike Tindall and Zara might join the melee, to assist our hunk in a kilt.

@Fifi - I agree that * will not write a book because she has nothing to offer. Even If she managed to stay focused long enough to scrap together a few hundred pages, it would be filled with provable lies.

@abbyh - That birthday “party” with Lilibucks really bothers me, too. Everyone is tense or distracted. The cake photo with the baker could have easily been photoshopped with the orange name banner stuck on the cake. IIRC the baker posted her photo several days after * published her picture. * clearly read SM comments about the pictures being photoshopped, so she asked (or blackmailed) the baker to publish her photo in the bakery. My God, that woman is exhausting.

Anderson Cooper is a professional, but he will not ask the Dunce any tough questions, unless they were rehearsed. Unlike Dunce, he plays all of his cards close to his chest. He will be proud of this coup with the Dunce and will likely try to establish a rapport with him to secure future interviews. I don’t expect anything unexpected to be revealed.

I'm not sure what can be achieved by H writing about his mother in his memoir. He claims he should never have been made to walk behind her coffin but if he hadn't, and especially if William had, he would still complain. He would say that as the heir, William had to be seen walking behind the coffin but as the 'spare', he was out of sight or something similar.

As for the accident, we will never know. I would have thought staging an accident was a very haphazard way of trying to kill someone, you could never be sure of the outcome. The fact remains that the only survivor is the only one who was wearing a seatbelt. If Diana hadn't got rid of her police protection officer, if she'd decided to go back to London a day early, if she and Dody had stayed at the Ritz that night as planned - Dody decided at the last minute that they should go to his apartment - if another driver had been at the wheel (I think Henri Paul was off duty but called in at the last minute), if, if, if... I think trying to get rid of Diana that way was a very long shot. If the problem was that Dody was considered an 'unsuitable companion for the mother of a future King', there were much better and more discreet ways of addressing the problem, and without having to get rid of Diana.
(My take entirely and I may well be totally off the mark).
I always understood that Prince Philip kissing ERII on the cheek was NOT part of the ritual, very much a husband-to-wife gesture. She was reportedly not amused!

I suspect the king will command H to attend (monarchs don't `invite'). Wrt garden parties, the monarch commands the Royal Chamberlain to invite the guests.

..........

I'd been envisaging them being seated behind the lowest ranking of Grandpa's German relatives but I do like the idea of her being seated with the peeresses, in a long white dress more or less covered by a velvet mantle. Perhaps being turned away if she doesn't conform to the dress code?

I said I wouldn't reserve it, and I won't--I don't want to add to the demand, and I'd be embarrassed to be seen in my small branch picking it up, where they know me. However, I finally relented and reserved the ebook, which is anonymous and has way fewer reservations. I figure I can skim it and discard it quickly. Otherwise, a synopsis of the highlights in a newspaper would have sufficed, but as it seems one of those is not forthcoming, I gave in.

An audiobook is also available, but no thanks!

Further to my previous post, I'd like to add that there was no evidence that Diana's 'inappropriate' relationship with Dody was serious and in any case, although she was the mother of a future king, it would be a long time before William ascends the throne, by which time Dody would have probably been long forgotten.
If she does hope to be there she'll be required to wear a duchess's coronet (strawberry leaves & fleurs de lys)

I agree that it is implausible that anyone 'arranged' for Diana to be killed in a car accident. It may happen in the movies, but not in real life.

To me, if the driver was drunk or not is immaterial. They were speeding when they entered the tunnel, everyone was distracted by the paparazzi chasing them, they were not wearing seatbelts ... these alone are a recipe for a lethal accident. But there are also a whole lot of other 'hints' that it was an accident. That last photo of them in the car shows a driver grinning from ear to ear - just not an image of a driver focused on driving and putting safety first. There was no need to 'escape' the paparazzi - just ignore them, as Catherine did when she was endlessly harassed. That the driver of the car that supposedly clipped them and caused them to swerve 'disappeared' is understandable - would you want to live with the accusation that you killed Diana? Besides, the accident happened in France. Why would the French collude with the British to cover up an assassination?

About KCIII Coronation.

As a state occasion — dissimilar to royal weddings — the government pays for the coronation and therefore chooses the guest list, Expect many of the guests at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral to be in attendance — with foreign dignitaries, heads of state and members of the royal family. But it’s likely it’ll have a less extensive list than the 8,000 guests at the late Queen’s coronation.
...

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is involved in the coronation and has met with King Charles about making his coronation a huge moment for the UK. Advice that KCIII accepted.
Rishi Sunak,⬇️
"The coronation of a new monarch is a unique moment for our country," he said. "In recognition of this historic occasion, I am pleased to announce an additional bank holiday for the whole United Kingdom next year."
https://people.com/royals/king-charles-coronation-weekend-declared-uk-bank-holiday-pm-rishi-sunak/
...

I understand that H&M, if invited, will not be under your rules or that of the family, but under the rules of Parliament.
Obeying the rite of coronation stipulated, on that occasion, by the Government, which may strictly follow the rite of QEII or make changes that it deems necessary for that occasion. So I take these statements that H&M were invited to this occasion with a pinch of salt. KCIII, being a man who complies with the laws of the Constitutional Monarchy, would not place his father's side above the rules of Parliament. Will H&M be invited? I think so, but not yet.

oh sandie. good tea. so perhaps this is why Dayani (sp?) resigned? not good for the resume if this comes out? perhaps she is helping the palace? sussex survivors club? she certainly wouldn’t want to be close to any of this. in fact not sure what the laws are in the UK is there a risk of criminal charges or civil lawsuit? what will they do with the investigation results? at least we know that they know what we have speculating 😉. angela levin shared a twitter thread that seems to confirm this investigation from a so called insider (also slinging a lot about james holt teaming with scobie do on leaks)

so the diana death claims which Richard Eden claimed yesterday has sort of dropped (certainly not trending) is it really in the book
or did the palace request it be dropped by the other rota. or it was way we thought a PR dangle and really isn’t much pushed in this book. i can see the wife pressuring the ghostwriter to pursue it to make the Palace nervous about what kinda of junk these two are stirring up. no doubt she is feeding the hubby this too. we need protection. the press is hunting me. what a sick relationship.

It is said that there are two sorts of people in this world; those that are British and those that want to be and M Al Fayed is the perfect example of the latter type. How is it that you good ladies know that Lady Di was not serious as to Al Fayed Junior for at the time and merely from reading the news headlines I assumed that the girl was asking for trouble by seriously dating Al Fayed and indeed at that time I had never heard of Hazmat Khan. She was sure if she carried on as she was doing to come to a bad end. What was she thinking of - as daft as her younger son. Not that I for one moment have ever bought into the assertion that she was murdered.

Should the Sussex's attend and indeed upstage the Coronation it will not be the first Coronation to be upstaged.

Girl with a Hat asked:

Does anyone think that Hairy could come to the coronation, pretend to go along with the process, and then at the moment when he is supposed to pledge his allegiance, stubbornly decides not to and grandstands with some sort of declaration instead?'

He's poorly-behaved, angry and deluded enough for this to be possible, but he's not quite as brave to openly flaunt the protocols he was brought up with when he's surrounded by his family and all eyes are on him as he is when shooting his mouth off for a Netflix crew in California. We shall see. If that does happen, I hope Major Johnny and another burly Scots Guardsman drags him away bodily mid-'declaration'. Televised or not, KCIII should let his equerries know that son or not, We are Not Having Any Misbehavior. Maggot and Mole both need to be warned ahead of time that the *will* be forcibly escorted and ejected from the Abbey if they do not follow the approved script . . as a perceived threat to his Majesty's person and peace of mind and that certainly wouldn't look good for their brand. ANY infraction will result in an immediate escort to the nearest airfield.

As a Duke, and a son, Harry will be invited. I can't imagine he won't be extended an invitation. The future of his ducal title may depend on it. But KCIII need promise NOTHING more than two seats and lodging at Frogmore or wherever they stick visiting traitors. The Tower has a nice ring to it. No money--not a sou. No titles for figment children. Dookie and Ducharse either promise to behave, and do so or decline and potentially lose their titles. That may be an elegant solution to the title problem. SPARE is out in 6 days and depending on what's in it, that may change the landscape vis. their invitation.

It's obvious when the odious pair clangs on about how the RF refuses to 'reconcile', they mean, "Pa isn't giving us everything we DEMAND and William is egging him on." To them, reconciliation means they get everything they want with no concessions and no apologies on their side for the hurt they've caused.

They will never be back in the fold. But they are more dangerous out than in. King Charles is never going to have any peace around this matter of his second son and the grifter-in-law. Unfortunately.

@abbyh

Thanks for the coronet update - it hadn't occurred to me that heraldic details would change now H is the son of the monarch not the grandson. Also, while HN Govt would have a say in the diplomatic invitations I doubt if they'd have the final say about which of the family the King wants there.

---------------

Also, the coronets of the Duchesses of Kent and Gloucester in '53 may reflect that their husbands were brothers to a king and the duchesses were ERII's aunts-by-marriage. Today's Dukes of Kent & Gloucester are/were the first cousins of the late Queen, that much further from the throne. So today's coronet may differ.

------------------

When H says he wants his father & brother back, is he really saying he wants to get his own back on them?

To me, he is unforgivable for the enormity of his treachery against the family, the Monarchy and the Nation (and I'm using `enormity' in its true sense, not as an alternative to `immensity' or `magnitude' - it's judgemental, not neutral).

Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

Would they show?  What would we see?  Would there now be photos from the rota?   We often hear of just some rando meeting of rando strangers.  It's odd, isn't it that random strangers just happen to recognize her/them and they have a whole conversation.  Most recently it was from some stranger who raved in some video (link not supplied in the article) that they met and talked and listened to HW talk about her daughter.  There was the requisite comment about HW of how she is/was so kind).  If people are kind, does the world need strangers to tell us (are we that kind of stupid?) or can we come to that conclusion by seeing their kindness in action?  Service. They seem to always be talking about their kids, parenthood and yet, they never seem to have the kids
