Calling All Lawyers

Sentebale is suing  Harry.

Exact details are not out there (yet) but we do know they were having severe money difficulties.

What we also don't know (yet) how closely Invictus will be following this.  Maybe this will allow them to get out from underneath him (and her) as he is too compromised?

Funny, I was just going to post about Sentebale. The litigant is being sued. This will be a change.
Sentebale 'launched a High Court lawsuit for libel and slander against the Duke of Sussex and his friend and former royal equerry Mark Dyer.' (DM). Not many details at the moment although the Independent writes that 'Sentebale . . . have launched defamation action against Harry, alleging “co-ordinated adverse media campaign” which caused “operational disruption and reputational harm”, its board of trustees said.
You've beaten me to it, Maneki Neko, but what sweet news!
Girl with a Hat said…
Ooh, the drama! * must love it. She's a drama queen.
Maneki Neko said…
Yes, what sweet news! Details are scarce but no doubt all will be revealed. I wonder how Harry is feeling now that the boot is on the other foot. * Will be furious.
Maneki Neko said…
Harry 'rejected "offensive and damaging claims" lodged by Sentebale'. Excerpts from The Independent:
'It [Sentebale] said: “The charity seeks the court’s intervention, protection, and restitution following a coordinated adverse media campaign conducted since 25 March 2025 that has caused operational disruption and reputational harm to the charity, its leadership, and its strategic partners.'

“The proceedings have been brought against Prince Harry and Mark Dyer, identified through evidence as the architects of that adverse media campaign, which has had significant viral impact and triggered an onslaught of cyber bullying directed at the charity and its leadership.

“Sentebale has experienced the adverse media campaign as false narratives circulated through the media about the charity and its leadership, attempts to undermine its relationships with staff, existing and prospective partners, and the forced diversion of leadership time and resources into managing a reputational crisis not of the charity’s making.”'
...but only if she is the leading lady?!

There's a Lady C video and I think it's interesting. She reckons there won't be a case, it will be settled out of court 'along the line'. Sophie Chandauka 'has taken the opportunity to put the boot in. When has done to Harry and Meghan with fairness what they did without fairness'. She makes interesting remarks.

The Harkles attended a star-studded party in Montecito this weekend with Ted Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant. * was wearing a horrendous light olive green satin/polyester dress and was holding Nicole Avant's hand and embracing her like a long lost sister. And look at the contrast between *'s pale arms next to Nicole Avant. * is looking very clingy, as ever.

That dress is not flattering at all. The colour is just awful and the cut makes it look like she has a paunch.
In the first photo, the Sarandos couple look genuinely affectionate towards each other, with * clinging on them, and ignoring her hubby.
I thought, however, that Sarandos had said horrible things about her, so I am surprised that they are together at any kind of event.
Heavens she is ugly, looks unkempt with a fat belly in a horrible vomit coloured gown. Has she started to drink when she can't look properly groomed in any photos? Her hair is all over the place and she is all over mrs Sarandos in a way that looks like some kind perversion. Why does she do this to other women? It is not a friendly "hug" but something quite different and her poor prey looks always molested when she engulfs them! Imagine what those people must think of her when she forces herself into their intimate sphere like she adores them but at the same time stares hysterically at cameras!! Disgusting!!

Comments about dresses:

Her dress, it looks like a side zipper in one photo. And it bunches.

As for Nicole's dress, I'm thinking the photos come from two different parties. In the ones with TOW, her attire is black and while but in others it is straight black.
Maneki Neko said…
Well spotted about Nicole's dress. Maybe she got changed, it looks like the first photos were taken in the evening and the last one, with Nicole's dress all black, during the day.
*'s pose with Nicole is exactly the same as with Jessica Mulroney, in her blush colour stained dress.
It seems that every guest in the do in witch the sussexes took part had colour scheme black and white only Carey Mulligan (the star of the show) was to wear green. SO lo and behold! here comes our baroness wearing green! She is such a snotty vulgarian, she must have got the only available green dress that she found in a pound shop. YƤk!
Mel said…
You *know* that Mm had ALL the assistants frantically searching for a gown in that exact shade.

Rumor has it that Daniel Martin was involved in Mulligan's April magazine shoot (don't remember the magazine name). Wonder if he shared a photo of a dress he saw being fitted.

There's NO way she just lucked into the *same* exact shade as Mulligan's dress.

The author of the article posits that there were no pictures of * in a group because she didn't follow the dress code.
What * still doesn't seem to grasp is that the few moments at the party where she got a bit of attention because she disobeyed the dress code may have cost her good will and future opportunities both in business and in the entertainment field. She always goes for short term gain over long term benefits. That's the main characteristic of someone who has no emotional intelligence.
abbyh said…
Tend to agree with you on that (the long term cost). It would appear that she is sending a clear message that she doesn't follow rules or requests.

The question becomes - to whom then will the rules or requests be followed? I would think* that a director or show runner would be looking at this and thinking: having her on the set would be a question of when would the problems start, not if any would start.

*but I have been wrong before and I do not do either job or anything similar. I am, however, careful about what kinds of people I'm willing to hire. Looking for a good fit and all that.

Ha! the Scots phrase `nippy sweetie' has appeared in SMM. According to the late Mr Wildboar, a `nippy sweetie' was an acid drop and he'd use it in the context of someone with a disagreeable expression, as in, `She had a face like a nippy sweetie', ie what some folk look like if they're sucking something sharp tasting. Said boiled sweets are flavoured with citric acid.
I'd seen enough of her oxters even before the wedding , even thought she might show 'em in her wedding dress. I was relieved to see she didn't and hoped we'd never see them again.

I am astounded to see video (I made tinyURL and linked below) clearly showing Meghan, while on stage, shove Dr Sophie Chandauka forcefully with her left arm onto Sophie’s whole arm while photos were being taken with Sentebale winner’s cup and players a year or two ago. - - - see from 15.08 - - -

I had heard that Meghan rudely did that, but paid no attention at the time because my attention had been drawn to Meghan forcing Dr Chandauka to move from adjacent to Harry while holding the winner’s cup in conjunction with him, to on Meghan’s far side, Meghan actually using her index finger and hand to point to where Dr Chandauka needed to move to (away from Harry), and then the poor lady had to crouch under the trophy and move to where Meghan indicated - - - see from 14.10 - - -

https://tinyurl.com/MeghanSideArmShove

I congratulate Dr Chandauka, the chairman of Sentebale, for her excellent acting skills on stage. I believe I would not have been able to pretend to keep my cool as chairman being forced by a grifting skank (my opinion) to crouch under the cup to inch by Meghan, obeying her finger pointing and arm blocking, but Sophie Chandauka did not flinch nor protest at the time.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. Dr Chandauka seems to follow that advice: I hope the Sentebale lawsuit against Harry and his crony succeeds.

Dr Chandauka is an admirable woman and admirable executive, and according to those in the know, she has enormous amounts of proof of their knowing-wrongdoing.

She is acting as Deus Ex Machina to those of us who feel the Harry & Meghan clown show is unsolvable and has gone on way too long.

Spectacular comment I just read on SaintMeghanMarkle subreddit in reference to Meghan’s odd brown outfit today in Australia, see link to 6 photos below, and here is the splendid comment (look up the meaning and you will love it)

“Why is she dressed like the Bristol scale”

https://tinyurl.com/MeghanDressedAsBristolScale

Lady Colin Campbell thinks that mr Sarandos let the baroness into the information about ms Mulligan's dress colour knowing that vulgar Hmmm could not resist the competition "who is the fairest" and as ever Harry's wife screwed it properly. She is not a beauty but young Carey is. Hilarious. Poor baroness did not get a photo opportunity with ms Mulligan but she can thank the gods for that for she was so ugly in all photos that day.

She did get a photo with Dr Chandauka, poor woman, because Dr is beautiful woman with round flesh in right places and our heroine has nothing in right places.

She (the baroness) in Australia is not photogenic and the look on her face is not a smile but a distorted grimace she seems to believe makes her look like young Julia Roberts. It does not so she ought to stop smiling altogether. I am afraid she is losing all understanding of "normal" behaviour when meeting people who constantly get too much of her wet armpits (you are right Wild Boar Battle-maid!) with her hugs.

Why did the hospital think that it was good idea to force seriously ill children sit in the entrance hall with masses of people and wait for the clown pair? Princess Diana did not do that. She visited the children in the wards where the kids where safe in their beds.

Dan Wootton says that the humanitarian baroness said "let's make this quick" before entering the hospital. Attention whore.

Harry made the comments while giving a talk on stage at an event about fatherhood hosted by Movember in Melbourne this morning during his four day tour of Australia with Meghan.'

Meghan has secretly filmed a role on a very popular Aussie series during her whirlwind tour Down Under.

Sources have told news.com.au that the Duchess of Sussex, who launched her lifestyle brand As Ever last year in conjunction with her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, has filmed a special guest role on MasterChef Australia during a gap in her and Harry’s jam-packed itinerary.'

. . . '“As part of her first Australian visit since 2018, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, featured as a guest judge on the country’s most beloved cooking show,” the statement read.' (Herald Sun)

Being a talented chef, of course she had to be a judge on a cooking show. Did she have to hassle the producers to get into the programme? I bet she'll be front and centre on the show.
That photo!! She looks like Queen Hatshepsut's mummy! Shudders!!

Well it did not take much time for Harry who is the Victim of his whole family to accuse his son of mental anguish before the poor boy was even born. That man is beyond ridiculous and definitely the lousiest father in his family. His children have no mother just a cruella in their lives and their father is totally incapable to take care of them. No life, no family, no friends, no holidays, NO NOTHING but a sicko's instagram pages. They are going to hate their parents and I hope they can make some money by writing their story some day and spill the beans of their childhood home!

But I don't wonder his disconnection to his son because he could not follow the pregnancy of his wife like men in normal families can. It must have been very strange for him poor diddums.

I don't believe that people are very interested in the book the baroness is going to publish sooner or later for we all know exactly what is going to be in it (that is the worst thing in the baroness she is SO predictable). BUT I would definitely buy Harry's book where he tells openly and honestly everything that his wife said and did during their time together. That would be a real bestseller!! Imagine "The True Story of My Daughter and Son, (Whose Children They In Reality Are)"!!!

His "mum" was not killed because she was a working royal but precisely because she was not and had not her body guards to protect her against drunken drivers.

SMM and CDAN have more details.
Does Harry believe in his fat lies? What he wanted was to be part time royal and pick the moments when he came to Britain to take part in the most showy royal happenings to get more money in Hollywood. So he wanted to be royal with his OWN RULES and so that the Queen did not tell him what and how to do it. And the Queen said NO.

But the sussexes are very reliable in their stories that change every time they tell them. I doubt that Harry's IQ can be much over 70 if even that, but that is nothing he can do about so it would be easier for him to just shut up.

Meghan told everybody when she came to Britain that she was very intelligent. She is not, though certainly over 70 IQ. If you are intelligent you are capable of learning and she is totally incapable to learn anything. She is constantly repeating same mistakes again and again.

And I think that she is very afraid in the situations when she hysterically hugs people or crush their hands so it looks painful. It was not love towards Harry, the hand holding, it was to secure her in situations she felt timid and unsure and did not know what to do. I mean she lacks all natural sophisticated manners that even lower middle class children grow up with. And even when European conduct was strange to her one learns when one follows what other people do, it is not difficult if one is ready to watch and learn. Her reaction was "I am so much better than anyone here so don't need to learn anything". She is an extremely stupid woman.

@alianor
You are so right - I predict that when H finally departs this life, he'll choose 1=
Her 2-handed grasp on Harry now looks to me as if she's desperate to stop him escaping.
BTW prepare for mor puke-inducing news. Apparently, they did meet survivors of the Bondi Beach attack.
I predict that when H finally departs this life, the coffin will be carried out/disappear behind the curtains to the strains of `My Way'. Will that be the only way he'll be able to escape her - she'll release her 2-handed grasp on him only when he is lifeless?
Unless of course a richer mark comes along.

They never stop with the whining. Now Duchess Temu 'bemoaned her 'very hard' life in the public eye, claiming she has been 'attacked' ever since marrying Prince Harry.' And people paid £1,700 to hear her tales of woe. * 'said she had enjoyed 'amazing moments' since meeting the British royal, including getting married and having two children, but insisted she had also 'endured' constant attacks for a decade.'. Not again! Yes, she has been so hard done by! She has no self-awareness. Time to change the record (both of them).
Just imagine King Henry IX's Speech From The Throne On His Coronation Day:

I suffer! I have been suffering for years! You do not know how I have been suffering since my childhood. My father who was the king before me never hugged me or took me to bicycle tours and this has destroyed me. You do not know the horrors of my life.

My mother who has always followed me and has always been telling me what to do even after her death because for her I was the most important person in the world (not my brother whom I hate because even without his hair he is more manly and handsome than me). She is here today because I let them carry her from Althorp to Westminster Abbey to prove that I am the most gifted and loved royal person in my family.

Now when I have this crown you must worship me and understand my suffering and call me king Harry the Great because I am the first great king after Alfred in Britain.

(PS Joke aside if your life's story is like that, even when you get what you desire for the story does not change, because you never change and grow, never ever.)

(she was only there for 2 hours so that wasn't very long/highly paid by the minute salary but is that a sustainable rate to support you and family on)

How many people actually attended in the end?

I still wonder about their taxes (and how that has been working out). 2025 taxes were due on the 15th.
There is nothing so glamorous than using the place where 15 people were butchered dead in racist massacre as your catwalk when you sell your ugly cloths.

And that woman does not understand why people do not like her!

Essential viewing and listening, I think.

'The Duchess of Sussex asked superfans if it was finally time to invest in herself after spending 'all her life investing in women' during a VIP meet and greet event in Sydney.' (DM)

So now she doesn't have fans, she has 'superfans'? In any case, I thought investing in herself was all she's done since planning to meet H.
As Charles III is the king of Australia and obviously accepts everything that his son and daughter-in-law do for he does NOTHING to stop them, I think it would be very just that he would pay very considerable sums of money (his own money) to the children's hospital and Bondi Beach sufferers and other groups that the sussexes used for their money-grubbing endeavours. They DID NOT pay anything to anyone just used them and Australian taxpayer's money for police protection. That is the least he can do.

Does he mind that his son walks on the sand where 15 human beings died and 40 more were wounded enjoying the money his wife makes with her blue shirt ($ 440), white trousers ($ 159,95) and the tote bag ($ 950). And to elevate her looks, as she so likes to do, the baroness's shirt is very near replica of the uniform of the dying prisoners of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

As the sussexes are on the official site of the Royal House as full members of the house the palace could publish a new photo and replace the 2018 photo of them on the Bondi Beach with a new auschwitz version with the baroness's new cloths. The sussexes wanted the palace to upgrade they photos and work on the site, so that would be according their wishes and would help the baroness in her cloths business.

All her life investing in women?
When I read that, what flashed in my mind was the visit to Uyinene Mrwetyana on the trip to South Africa. And the more recent visit to feed people while wearing all kinds of gold jewelry.

So about 150 seats (with double freebees to fill the place) sold of 300 to listen the baroness. H.G. Tudor has the story and more to say about their humanitarian works.
It seems to me that many people are still overestimating the King's powers, especially with regard to his supposed ability to remove titles at a stroke. He cannot. It all goes back to Magna Carta which was primarily designed to protect the barons from arbitrary attacks from the king, John in this case, especially with regard to the removal of their titles. (Andrew had to agree to his humiliation)
`15th June 1215-The Magna Carta (Great Charter) was an historic and revolutionary royal charter which curtailed the unlimited powers of the king ' – see https://www.historic-uk.com/HistoryUK/HistoryofEngland/Timeline-of-British-Parliament/ established the power of the law.'

The `Model of Kingship’ which is being challenged in the US would be unthinkable in the UK. It may have taken almost 500 years for us to deal with autocratic leaders in the UK (1215 -1688) but deal with it we did and events so frequently blamed on the monarch are in effect the actions of Parliament.

I think (perhaps but do not know) that, for some, well in one case, it is known that they had difficulty with British history in school (Spare) and the other, who did not have detailed British history in their education repeatedly, the thinking was more along the lines of the British Royal Family could behave more like King Henry VIII towards an obstreperous recalcitrant wife.

We're just watching Elizabeth: the Unseen Queen. 6.35 pm BBC2. The story of Queen Elizabeth II in her own words, featuring never before home movies.
It is narrated in part by the Queen herself, with a lot of never seen before footage. Beautiful film, and inspiring when you look at certain members of the RF today.

Here's to hoping that some day this is shown in the States. Sounds lovely.
Thank you so much. I missed it, probably because I no longer take the Radio Times and have yet to find an adequate replacement with the weekly listings. Never mind - the BBC iPlayer has it and I've started watching it. I've got as far as Sept 1939.
Such beautiful little girls, the `Little Princesses' - so much joy in their lives to this point. We had a delightful neighbour, born some years before the Queen, who had lived close to their London home - he told me of how he was able to hear and see them through the hedge, playing in the garden.

Thinking back to the Abdication of 1936 - technically, it was Edward VIII's/David choice. He had to choose between Wallis and the Crown. He close Wallis, as he couldn't take on the Crown `without the support of the woman he loved' (paraphrase).
(On the other hand, James II & VI did not abdicate, despite what we are always told - he may have fled the country but it was to regroup and attempt to seize back the Crown. In effect, he was deposed by Parliament inviting his son-in-law to be king instead.)
H would have to be given a choice between renouncing his wife and all titles and living as a genuinely private person like the rest of use. on the National Average Income, no security but subject to Council -and all other taxes, and the Law. Or permanent exile, perhaps as 2nd Duke of Windsor, with minimal financial support, no security and so on.

BTW, I believe in Churchill's dictum about history: `The further back you look, he further forward you can see' (or wtte)

Poor Megsy was 'reportedly left disappointed after the Irwin family opted not to meet her and Prince Harry during their current Australian tour.' - (Steve Irwin was an Australian conservationist, environmentalist. He was well known in the UK).

'The Duchess of Sussex, 44, had reportedly hoped to catch up with celebrity conservationist Robert Irwin, 22, and his family at Australia Zoo in Queensland.

'Aligning with the Irwins' worthy causes is something that Meghan and Harry could be on board with,' an insider tells this week's New Idea magazine.'

No. */*&H just wanted to piggy back on the Irwins' success as conservationists. It was very good news that 'the Irwins politely declined the invitation due to their strong ties as monarchists'. 'They are all staunch monarchists and fiercely loyal to The Firm,'. The son 'was particularly close to Harry's brother William, as an ambassador for his Earthshot Prize, and didn't want to upset the Prince of Wales by appearing to side with Meghan.'. I feel a bit of schadenfreude but the duo deserve it.

'Legit, speculation, or what?'. Exactly. I'm not sure what to make of it. How did HG Tudor managed to get his hands on such info? I'm re-reading it (I only read the transcript) and it says '. . . MI5 only summary for her majesty the American actress Rachel. . . is now confirmed in a romantic relate with Prince Henry of Wales'. How could *, then only 'dating' Harry - this was in 2016 - be referred to as 'her majesty the American actress'?? And Her Majesty refers to a reigning queen, or wife of king. This doesn't pass the smell test (IMHO).
Girl with a Hat said…
It works if you change the punctuation. For example
MI5 only summary for Her Majesty:
The American actress, Rachel Meghan Markle....
abbyh said…
I was thinking adding/changing punctuation might make a difference.

I read that she got upset that the cooking show people called her royal. Really? When the trips mimic a royal tour with with press releases, meet and greets, constant focus on clothing, accepting flowers, photos of people swarming to take photos (like Diana walking about), crowds and the like? Then if perhaps they were contacting the press and asked them to stop calling the trips royal or royal like tours - then there is a leg to stand on getting upset use of the word with the show in my opinion. Sauce for ganders and all that
Maneki Neko said…
Yes!!! Silly me! I read the transcript because it's quicker but it's not 100% accurate, some words are reproduced phonetically (and incorrectly) and there is no punctuation at all. I read quickly and posted quickly. Lesson learned...

*'s 'controversial advert selling her outfit with first responders to the Bondi terror attack around her has been quietly deleted.

* 'was criticised after her $2,000 'look' when she met survivors of the massacre was posted on a website where she is paid a percentage from sales.'

. . . 'Critics said that the decision to advertise the duchess's 'look' on a visit to meet terror attack survivors is 'the starkest example yet of Harry and Meghan’s efforts to commercialise their royal brand'.'

Not only shouldn't they commercialise their so-called royal brand, but to do so on the scene of a recent terror attack is in really bad taste. We've learnt to find that * is synonymous with bad taste.

I was thinking about recent lists of things which were started and did not or have not come through (yet).

What ever happened to the grand plans to set up a one stop shop to help counseling kind of deal? I remember a lot of corporate/LLC set ups. There was talk about whether or not her mother had the qualifications to run this. I don't recall this on the list.

The photo here:

Sorry, no link as all images have endless URLs - Just Google `wren and spider at York Minster’.

I have been thinking of the 1000 years of the royal history of England and have ended with the idea that the king that Charles III most reminds me of is Henry VI. Henry had passion for education and architecture but also spiritual things in religion. The world can thank him for Eton College and King's College in Cambridge. King Charles has saved Dumfries House and planned Poundbury and he is interested in spirituality if I have understood that correctly.

Besides Henry VI was a king who would have suited excellently to modern times.

Cliff Hanger

Deadlines for responses have passed.  Will they show?  Won't they show?   And, rumors of demands for money to cross hands to make appearances (new level of pay to play). Such drama.  You would think this was a soap opera where every episode ends with a crazy cliff hanger story plot to drive the next installment.  Sadly, I don't expect it to change any time soon either.  No.  For them, there appears to be way too much energy left in the will they, won't they to end it now even though everyone else is pretty much tired of it.  Hardly something one can point to and claim that they are trying to reconcile with those who feel distressed about what was printed. Just noticed something: remember that talk of trying to reach out and reconcile after the book, etc.?  It seems to have drifted away, hasn't it?  Hmm.  Interesting.  I wonder if that is recognized as a total lost cause or just delayed into the summer (or fall) campaign (c...

Here comes Trevor

If you're a Beatles fan, you'll know that in the fifty years since the group went its separate ways, almost everyone involved with them has sold his or her story. Only one major figure has not: Jane Asher , who was Paul McCartney's girlfriend for five years during the heyday of the group, and accompanied him on the famous trip to India in 1968. An actress, Jane went on to become a TV personality and famous cake-baker. She has never spoken about her time with McCartney and dislikes being asked. Until recently, the Sussex saga had included a similar figure: Trevor Engelson, Meghan Markle's ex-husband.  Trevor has never spoken about Meg. But he has done well for himself: he married a wealthy woman , continues to work as a producer , and seems to have a loyal (and multi-racial!) circle of friends , unlike some people we know.  He appeared to have excused himself from the whole soggy mess.  Until yesterday, when he was papped. Driving his black Porsch...

But Really, Could they?

Richard Eden has an interesting article in the DM which references an article in The Guardian about the necessity of the passport applications for the kids as including HRH and the last name of Sussex. Why?  Well supposedly this is all because they want to allow the kids to decide for themselves to become a working royal or continue to stay in private life. The main focus becomes how this bewilders the Palace considering how difficult the parents found it all and then left.  As well has his thoughts that this is about maintaining royal aura ("links" is his term) before ending with how a push for the daughter might be as the American Princess might be helpful to her mommy's business. What I wonder about is:  What or where did they get the idea that the kids would be welcomed into the fold and become working royal? I am not convinced that was ever an option once they stepped back. America doesn't do British history quite the same way or to the same detail.  Manne...
