Emmy Time

Well that time is coming up for the Daytime Emmy Awards.  October 30th.

I don't know but I suspect there is a lot pinned on this for her and I suppose him too (in support of her dreams).

Perhaps the dream is it would lead back to work in Hollywood, Netflix and more producer work.  It would be away from the UK and more in the direction of California.  Maybe?

Or she wins but they are not interested as what has come through is not compelling enough for someone to hire her.  It appears that Hollywood seems to look at the most recent finished piece but they are known to take into account the person's past history when they think they might have difficulty getting the person covered by insurance.  Could be?

Or she loses.  And, then what?

The difficulties the baroness faces in Hollywood are three: She is lazy, she is talentless and she behaves like a uneducated moron and the whole Hollywood knows this. She has made it clear that to work with her is horrible and what is important there is no money in the end. So why would anyone even try it? They know.

He's the last person who should think that he has anything to teach us about how to handle the death of a loved one.

There are over 9,400 comments attached to the story of * clawing poor Nobel laureate Malala during their parting goodbyes in front of the Mayfair hotel.
And, they are hilarious.
I am sure he is quite capable pronouncing the word "resilience" several times when he talks about himself. Harry seems to believe that he can go back to the times when people were ready to pay big bucks for his moaning. He does not understand that the world has not been waiting for him. We have ALL moved on.

@Girl with a Hat, regarding Citizen H hosting a Masterclass, I just read via BarkJack_ (on X) this shocking comment on the same topic: Quote:

“ For his MasterClass, Prince Harry joined neuroscientist Dr. Mary-Frances O’Connor and opened the class with the following words: “Let’s fu--ing go,”

Is it ever appropriate to begin a class this way?” - end snip -

“Prince” H is amongst the most loathsome adults I have ever had the misfortune of learning about. He actually, genuinely turns my stomach and, well, I will refrain from continuing because my comment will be deleted if I say anything more.
So the baroness is demanding (!!) a meeting with the King so she can force the Monarch to guarantee her her title before Charles dies! Such a sunshine that woman is how does she think any person would feel if you throw their death right to their face while yelling "I want my title, I have right to my title!!!". She is insane!!

Harry has used these last 6 years moaning about his mental health and I am sorry but the truth is he bores me to tears. I understand that he must make money but we have all heard absolutely EVERYTHING about his feelings and sorrows again and again.

All adults know that after great sorrow losing someone the life goes on and so should you for the life is for living.

I will not read anything about Diana for I want remember her without all that nastiness that papers write. She was beautiful young woman with a big heart and some human faults and I hope her peace is total where ever she is and that is all.

This is obscene. Basically, paid for his tales of woe is me. His masterclass has obviously not worked as he doesn't display any resilience. He's been dining out on his grief at Diana's passing for far too long.

@Wild Boar Battle-maid, how fun that you remembered, then actually found the movie bit of Margaret Rutherford shoplifting the electric train by letting it run up her voluminous sleeve. What an amazing coincidence with @Magatha Mistie’s poem!

Regarding the movie to which you linked, I was unfamiliar with its star Norman Wisdom, and his ultra-painful early-years bio, which contrasts strikingly with looser whiner selfish self-obsessed lazy Prince Harry’s. The man became Sir Norman Wisdom due to consistent hard work and honor over his 95 years. I read with such sorrow a brief bio of his unbelievably difficult early life, effectively orphaned as a child when his mother died and his father dumped him completely, leaving him homeless and familyless; he hardscrabbled jobs to keep himself alive, culminating in joining the British Army age 14 which was a lifesaver for him. Yes, age 14.

I cheer Norman Wisdom’s successes and lifelong gratefulness in spite of having endured the most appalling early life, then look at the angry freeloading entitlement-demanding exemplar which is HRH Harry.

I compare, and find Prince Harry wanting in every conceivable way. My distaste for him grows ever stronger, which I didn’t even know possible

I have lost all empathy towards the boy who was two weeks short of his 13th birthday when his mother died.

He was "emotionally dumb" because " nobody told me joy was still allowed"!!!!!

He finds it HORRIBLE that the whole family and all the people around him did not understand that HE was the MAIN PERSON in this drama!!

This much ice cold egoism feels like severe mental illness in a middle aged man.

Hi Sassie,
The whole movie is online. Norman Wisdom was regarded as a hero in Albania in Communist times as the `little man ' who resisted authority and the downtrodden folk of that country identified with him. As a child, I loved his films but the sophisticated had a low opinion of him.

Great thoughts on La Douchass via X: “… the fundamental flaw in Meghan’s approach to importance. She seems to place enormous faith in the power of material things to establish her value in the eyes of others. But wealth is not character, publicity is not credibility, and looking successful is not the same as building something successful.

All the luxury in the world cannot buy integrity, manufacture genuine values or give substance to an empty image. She remains a shameless self-promoter masquerading as a humanitarian.” - end snip -

The thing is, when someone doesn't like you, it's very difficult to get them to change their opinion of you. This is what * and Hairy are trying to do. They should follow Camilla's example of just keeping a low profile and waiting.
So on Thursday the baroness and her husband will show their faces in Nottingham where they got a rapturous welcome nine years ago. Neil Sean has said several times that both sussexes live in an idea that the GREAT but silent majority of everybody absolutely adore and worship them.

Well there will certainly be those metal fences to stop the enormous hordes of "royal fans" when the golden couple step out of the convoy of cars, but I am not sure about those hordes. It may be an encore of the sitution that humiliated them in Australia and people do not give a damn showing it by staying at home.

It is interesting that Harry never talks about love when he drags his mother to the stage. He just concentrates on his own endless suffering.

He is never responsible for anything and I believe that at a very young age he learned coolly to use Diana's memory to get out of his misdemeanors without any consequences.

His attitude seems to be that he can do whatever just because Diana died but I trust less and less that his hysterical stories are true for he seems to ENJOY too much telling them.

Girl with a Hat said…
I had a parent die when I was young. Much younger than Hairy when Diana died.
One thing I absolutely hated was when people found out that my parent had died, and then started treating me differently, with pity, almost. I really didn't want that and I was only 8 at the time. I wanted people to be understanding of my situation, but not to treat me like I was weak or damaged in any way.
I even hated telling people about it, when asked about my parents, because then people would look at me with these pitying eyes that I knew so well. I didn't want their pity.
Now that the matter of greater protection for political figures, in the wake of Anne Widdecombe's death, has arisen, I assume there'll be extra yowling from the Sussexes.
Yes GwaH, at the age of 8 you had your inner dignity to help you continue your life with the sorrow of your loss.

Harry demands the whole world to pity him and that is disgusting. There is no greater sorrow than his so everybody send him your money for he has earned it by wringing his hands and moaning.

@Sassie

When Harry said of Archie that babies changed so much in two weeks when he was showing his new born baby to a journalist it may have been a moment in his life he was telling the truth of his son who may have been exactly 16 days old.

(Lady Colin Campbell)

Girl with a Hat said…
Yes, I read that over at SMM. So, it seems that Archie does exist, although he's an Aries, not a Taurus.
Another horrible thing to do to a kid, to lead him to believe that his birthday is on a day that it's not. Yes, he's too young to know now, but in the future, the fake birthdate will be out there and he will have to accommodate her lies by altering his most basic attribute.
Maneki Neko said…
@Girl with a Hat

Harry may well have made a slip of the tongue when he said Archie was two weeks old on 8th May but the •official• date of birth is the 6th, although the true date may be different. We're used to untruths with these two. Official documents such as a passport will also bear that date so even if Archie was born two weeks before his 'presentation' at Windsor, he'll never know.
Girl with a Hat said…
He may find out one day.
This reminds me of the US House of Representatives member who is now under investigation because of immigration issues. As a minor, she was allowed to become a US citizen because of her father, but it turns out that she may have been 19 years old, so not legally allowed to do so. She has now updated her birth year in many places, including Wikipedia, but.... the statute of limitations for the first alleged offense may be long past, but the current US administration is trying to find a way to use her use of an incorrect birth year as a federal offense (on passports, or on any other legal document)!!!!

What a load of twaddle! I'm sure these girls will be 'empowered' by madam. As for madam, she was wearing a coat three sizes too big, as usual, clashing with her top and skirt and beaming widely (no boos, I guess).
The PR people of the baroness organized the pricey flowers to be given by "fans" to her and yell "we love you *!!!" No normal people give ever so expensive flowers on the street to any royals so it was for the show as were the balloons. We must all understand that those 100 persons were there for the whole population of the UK showing how welcome the sussexes were.

The problem with the baroness is always the same. She cannot not let be and exaggerate and it always gives her plans away. Idiot woman.

@Alianor, that was my first thought when I saw the quality of the flowers. No one spends that amount of money for the BRF, let alone for "private citizens"
BBC reporter at 1pm initially referred to the Nottingham charades as a `Royal' visit but at least he corrected himself immediately but without much conviction.
Didn't they read the memo properly?
It was quite clear that the baroness has totally lost her way how to move in a pack on people. She is so clumsy.

Catherine moves beautifully with an easy rhythm and elegance from one person to another and says few words with a smile and she makes it look so effortless and it is clear that she gives always impression that she is enjoying meeting people and it is clear that people enjoy meeting her. She is such a classy and beautiful lady that it is a pleasure to look at her at work.

Was Daily Mail playing fast and loose with the baroness's feelings showing her photos of the visit in the year 2017? The contrast was so hard, for she is very ugly and run-down without camera filters and Mails photographer was very evidently not her friend.

Was today a great success? They were not booed. (The King was in Wales, rudely)

Was this the first time the baroness has ever listened to her PR people? She left her gold chains and diamonds home?

From the DT
An extraordinary briefing, from a friend of the Sussexes to Hello! magazine before their day trip, spelt it out.

“They never agreed they wouldn’t be half in half out,” it said. “That was what was decided and foisted upon them.”

It is true to say that there is no Sandringham Summit contract, with a flourish of Meghan’s calligraphy signature across the bottom. But there was an agreement, whether Prince Harry liked it or not.

It seemed, for a while, that the Sussexes had settled into it. Sure, they staged a quasi-royal tour occasionally, but that did not greatly trouble the scores. The Duke was set to focus on Invictus, the Duchess on As Ever. In Britain for an “extended stay”, the children settled into their (second) school, and things have changed.

But this is it. “That was what was decided". Precisely. Whether they liked it or not, that was what the Queen had decided for them. They just don't get it: 'they do not feel bound by the “no half-in half-out” agreement set by the late Queen'. I hope they get a good rollicking by the Palace, if not Charles himself.
abbyh said…
(takes deep breath) wow. That's an interesting history revision of what happened at that meeting.

And, while it is true that she did not sign it but what the statement is leaving out is that she was not present at negotiations to sign what was finally agreed to. Her husband was there and was there representing them both. Neither may like it but they also did not immediately publicly state they were choosing not to abide by it.

So when I look at the "They never agreed ...", what it sounds like what is really going on is that she never agreed and now she is pushing the idea that they both never agreed to this and she/they? are trying to get out of it.

IF the thinking is that because the Queen has passed and therefore the agreement is now null, well I doubt, seriously doubt, that there is something somewhere that states when one person in the agreement passes, then the whole thing is over and done, no longer needing to be adhered to. Knowing that the Queen, at her then age, would not likely outlive H&M one might suspect that someone did say something about how this is the agreement, it holds after the Queen, his father, his brother and the kids have passed + they were given time to decide: meaning they had choice for a year.

Somehow saying that one/both parties were not bound would be like saying I crossed my fingers when I was signing so it does not count.
Abbyh, the baroness is not a person who has the words honour or decency in her vocabulary or system of values. Her situation is such that she can't make money with anything she has so if she is going to be destroyed she is going to make damn sure she will destroy the British Monarchy to get a chapter in the History of the United Kingdom describing her "Magnum Opus" ("How I took the crown from my father-in-law and laughed").

Of course, whether * agrees is neither here nor there but where she's concerned, any rules emanating from the Palace are to be broken. Rules are for Catherine or Sophie, madam is above such pettifogging rules. Her way or the highway.
Think about Catherine's beautiful smiles when she meets people and the watch this:

Youtube the Body language guy: "What fresh hell is this!?"

For your information if you go and ask about Harry's service as a helicopter PILOT (not just SITTING in a one) you get lies. There are NO photos of Harry flying anything. But ChatGPT gives you (as a proof) a photo of Harry in a helicopter without a helmet and hands in air with a text: "Footage of an Apache helicopter taking off with Harry aboard" (I have been aboard of airplanes but never flew one!!)

No wonder he thinks his father can do everything Harry demands, when his family (with the help of British military) have created this tale of military hero. "He has led his troops in battle" we are informed except that is a lie. When a man has group of personal bodyguards all around him to protect his life he is not leading anyone in a battle.

It is easy to lie when your whole life is built on constant lies from your childhood to build up a man that does not exist. Sad, but so it is.

1936-1952 The Reign of HM George VI
1952-2022 The Reign of HM Elizabeth II
2022-20?? The Harry Markle circus
20?? The Reign of HM William V

This will be the truth if Harry and his wife go on with torturing King Charles. Those people who BOO to the Monarch are going to be happy every time the King is taking care of his work and Harry organizes the British press to take photos of his old and ugly wife at the same time! He is the head of state!!! Can no-one explain this very slowly and simply to Harry what it means. His father is representing the people with his work, he is not playing any "who is the most popular member in this family"-games!!

What I am learning from the posts at CDAN about * that have been going on for a few weeks now:
- * was not a person who was looking to become a famous actress in Hollywood. She seems to have given up that dream a long time ago and decided to concentrate on playing with rich men for other rich men (sometimes). Her ultimate goal was to become rich or to marry a rich man.
- she was involved with some very crooked people, perhaps just as an acquaintance but her name comes up in the Epstein files
- she was very present in the European scene for much longer than I originally thought and is friends or is acquainted with some other European royal wives prior to meeting Harry, like Sofia of Sweden who was the beneficiary of an Epstein investment in her yoga studio in NYC

Basically, the story we thought we all knew about * has a lot more unpleasant aspects to it, and many rich and powerful people seem to be involved.

Everyone could se it except Harry & wifey. Charles and Camilla and William and Catherine are welcoming the Sultan of Oman on a state visit. The duo could have been part of it or similar functions, genuinely feted by people but they threw it away because they knew better. That's a harsh lesson to learn.
Maneki Neko said…
Meanwhile, * was brought down a peg or two during the duo's visit to Nottingham, sorry, the "quasi royal" visit (either it's royal or it's not). They stopped at a food bank and 'one of the volunteers... seemed irked by the barrage of questions as she showed Meghan how to pack a donation bag'.'

In the clip posted on X, the blonde-haired woman began her demonstration by telling Meghan the task was 'not very difficult' and held up a bag for her to fill as they stood in front of a crate full of baked beans.

Seemingly confused, Meghan asked whether she should go to 'another station', but the volunteer shook her head and authoritatively told Meghan to take the bag and follow her.

Royal watchers were baffled by the Duchess's 'performative' stream of questions considering the task was so 'basic', with one writing on X: 'It’s wild how she doesn’t understand how an operation of that kind works.'
I'm not on X but the article is in the DM.

and Meghan have lost their two ‘champions’ at Netflix as the streaming giant takes the axe to projects delivering them 'zero financial return'.

The Sussexes appear to have been caught up in the streamer’s brutal cost-cutting drive, with an insider claiming bosses have concluded viewers will not subscribe ‘to see a Meghan show’.

Netflix has cut 1,000 jobs around the world, including executives who brought With Love, Meghan to screens and backed the Sussexes’ explosive docuseries about their rift with the Royal Family.

The couple will now be without their ‘human shields’ after Meghan's lifestyle show and Harry's polo series both flopped, the source said.

Netflix's new British-born TV boss is expected to shun costly ‘royal-linked vanity projects’ and focus instead on finding the next Stranger Things.

As it laid off around one in 20 staff this week, it emerged that original series director Carolina Garcia, the Netflix executive who oversaw the streaming giant’s relationship with Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions, has left after a decade.

So it is once again William's fault that he does not understand that Harry has been right all along. What does Harry want that his brother does? Is he satisfied if William kneels in front of him on The Mall and publicly begs for forgiveness and kisses his boots?

Harry is a moron. Once again an important state visit is just a scenery for Harry's drama. Does that not disturb the British Government?

Well it sounds (to those who have not lived through a similar situation) or grew up with the idea that forgiveness means you always have to reach out, be the bigger/kinder person for doing this - that you will then join hands, sing Kumbaya and skip into the sunset so the person saying this now is able to say "Another happy ending.". AND, that the person doing the reach out will find comfort and peace in the situation.

They just can't conceive that people are that unbalanced cannot be trusted any farther than you or I could throw a living adult elephant.

There is something here which I have not thought through about how people (I feel) misunderstand the idea of Christian forgiveness and what that really means in the real world. Let me know if you want me to write that out.
Oh Abbyh, I have thought about that Christian principle in my own life when I have forgiven once a cruel betrayal when I lost my brother because the ice cold heart of my sister who did not think that she had any responsibility. But her next victims were my beloved daughter and her boys, 2 1/2 years and 5 years. And the situation was not "fool me twice" it was something more terrible. I don't believe that Christ ever thought that we must destroy the tiniest persons in our families to reach "forgiveness".

William and Catherine have three young children to raise and before they are adult and capable to take care of their own lives it is going to take several years. I have a feeling that Harry hates his brother and maybe his children too because they are something his own are not. I can't say how things are with Harry and his own children but what I understand about parental love it is a thing that is lacking in the marriage of Harry and his wife. If you care about your little ones it shows as with William and Catherine.

I hope you can make some sense of that, I am tired and English is my third language.

I am no expert in Christian theology, despite having been reared in a deeply devout household. I do absolutely believe in forgiveness, but my experience in life has taught me that forgiveness is ultimately a way of keeping yourself from becoming consumed by anger and bitterness. One forgives, first and foremost, because it's the Christian thing to do, but one eventually realizes that the letting go of the situation makes one's own life so much more peaceful. But that doesn't mean one keeps going back for more abuse. I have yet to find a Scripture that requires anyone to do so. In fact, I believe there a verse or two in the Psalms (?) that advises not to suffer a contentious woman in the household.... 😉

abbyh said…
This is just my opinion (and I have been wrong before in life)

There are a couple of different threads of William should because in the William ought to reach out to Harry. I don't think of them as one and the same.

Forgiveness is pretty straight forward. I did something to you and it was wrong of me. I took your sausage. I tripped you. I broke something and told Mom you did it. I'm sorry. It was wrong of me. Please forgive me.

What we don't know is what went on between the brothers on either side (other than what was in the book and it may or may not be an accurate tale of that encounter). Forgiveness is a personal thing and should not be forced into public by one side.

Ian's Girl makes a good point about how it is to keep you not embedded in the anger/frustration of what happened. You move on.

It does not mean that there are no consequences after being given forgiveness. I stole your car and you now forgave me but I still go to jail.
Looking at the book, shows and interviews, there are consequences.

It does not mean that the relationship is unchanged. Trust (something) was broken and it may or may not ever go back to the level it was. It might never come back at all if what was done was that bad. Meaning William is not forced to make nice. (no matter how much H may want it, it's not up to H but William to decide how he participates in the relationship)

William ought because of someone else's feelings (thoughts). Oh, guilt, baby, guilt. No. One is only responsible for their feelings and not others. One can try not to hurt other's feelings but that's kind of as far as it goes. So you don't want to feel happy, there is nada I can do about it.

So layering on about their mother would feel X about them not getting along is all about putting guilt as trying to get William to do something he might otherwise not do. We don't really know what their mother might think or want to do about how things are today. This is a how many angels are dancing on the head of a pin argument.

It is ok to say no. Jesus did not come down hard on the wise maidens just because someone asked(demanded) they share what oil they had. I grew up thinking that I had to always give what was ever asked of me or I would be thought of as bad Christian.

A banner on BBC News this morning proclaimed, `Netflix share price has crashed. Harry intends to reconcile with family,' or words to that effect (I was still half asleep!)
Have just searched `contentious woman' - it's Proverbs 21.
`Forgiveness' is something that can go on only in the mind and or heart of the one damaged and, as Ian's Girl points out, it's a matter of letting go of one' anger or bitterness against the offender, not harbouring resentment or a wish for revenge. In addition, the offender has to express genuine remorse for what they have said or done, a resolve to continue in `newness of life'. As far as I can see, Harry's utterances do not meet these criteria.

Furthermore, one can only forgive the hurt done to oneself. Willian cannot forgive that done to Catherine, only Catherine can do that. This applies right down to the very least British citizen who has been accused of racism. (This cropped up some years ago, following a lethal terrorist outrage, when a virtue signaller, with nothing to do with the incident, announced that they forgave the perpetrators. )
That is very kind of you, thank you.
Maneki Neko said…
Forgiveness doesn't mean one can forget. Harry is suddenly very keen on reconciliation with his family, his father and brother in particular. And yet in Spare, he went on about what William did to him as a child e.g., pushed him into a dog bowl, resenting William having a bigger nursery at Balmoral etc. Maybe he should start by letting go of petty grievances and his family might be a little bit more amenable. * could set an example by reconciling with her family too, although we all know that will never happen. Besides, there is no money on that side of the family so reconciliation is not needed.
OCGal said…
@Maneki Neko, you stated this so starkly and stripped the situation to its ugly, unassailable essence. I quote you for posterity:

La Douchass “…could set an example by reconciling with her family too, although we all know that will never happen. Besides, there is no money on that side of the family so reconciliation is not needed.”

You’ve said it all: there is no money on that side of the family so reconciliation is not needed.

Will this charade, circus of evil, pathetic grasping for filthy lucre, outrageous lying conduct including under oath, and constantly sticking the shiv into innocent good people’s backs never end? I think not.

Thank you Abbyh, Ian's Girl, Wild Boar Battle-maid and Maneki Neko for your thoughts because they unexpectedly made something clear in my own life. I have not forgotten or forgiven what my sister did and yet in my life there is no bitterness or anger. But I will never go back for more abuse. My sister has no children. She has lost a brother, a sister, a niece and two great-nephews, people that were her family.

After three and a half years hell when I thought that we would never get back my grandchildren when it happened something changed in my life profoundly. Since then seven years ago every night before sleep and every morning when i wake up I feel something more than just happiness. It is a feeling of profound gratitude that did not exist in my life earlier and that feeling washes away every ugly thought, they have no place in my life.

When I have sometimes wondered how William and Catherine can be so joyous when they do their work with this markle drama in the background it must be that their life is on an another level after William got his wife back healthy. The sewer that is Harry's life does not truly touch them and they go on with what is important to them, I believe.

Maneki Neko said…

As far as a hypothetical reconciliation can happen between H and the RF, let's not forget that * and not just Harry would need to be forgiven. Harry should never have washed his dirty linen in public but I don't think he has yet realised that certain things are better kept private. If he is serious about a reconciliation, he needs to keep his trap firmly shut and that wife of his out of sight. Even so, I can't see a truce, never mind peace, happening any time soon. Never the twain shall meet.

Thanks. If true and proven, then this news is really disturbing.
'A source close to Meghan told The Sun: “Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018.”' I don't think * knew then and her father was definitely invited and coming to the wedding. Unless she now claims that she found out and that was the reason why he didn't attend. Another embarrassment for the RF.
Maneki Neko said…
Something escapes me here.
On the one hand, we have 'Meghan Markle was alerted to 'disturbing' allegations against her father in the months after her wedding to Prince Harry, it emerged today.
Meghan Markle was alerted to 'disturbing' allegations against her father in the months after her wedding to Prince Harry, it emerged today.'

On the other hand, 'He [Thomas Markle junior] triggered the investigation after searching for a phone for his Filipino girlfriend’s father in boxes of Thomas Snr’s belongings.'. This was as recently as July, so it doesn't make much sense to my little brain. If the allegations are true and 'a letter was sent to the Metropolitan Police's royal protection team', wouldn't MI6 have been alerted and have alerted the RF?

We'll have to wait and see if anything is proven. I am certainly no fan of *'s but I hope the allegations are not true. This is very murky.
What if the baroness received a letter that the Met police never sent?
Lady C said quite a while back that * was likely to reveal something of this nature. So why has it surfaced now?
I smell a very large rat here.
What did this unknown person expect the Met to do about these `allegations'? TM Senior is not a British subject/citizen, nor as far as we know, has he been anywhere covered by British law, let alone committed an offence here. All they could do would have been to pass the information on to the US/Thai /Phillipino authorities.

Why now? Is it just a desperate bid for attention!
*claims that she knew about this 8 years ago yet apparently did nothing - except join her husband in pontificating about online child safety.
The one thing you can always trust with the baroness: when she opens her mouth she lies. She has not stopped her lies since she became a member of the Royal family and before so I think it is reasonable to assume that she stays true to her nature and continues her lying. So it goes as Kurt Vonnegut stated.

If you know that someone is doing criminal things to children in any way and do not tell the police are you not protecting a filthy criminal and in that way take part in their crime?

There's a first-rate examination of what looks and smells like a very large stinking rat , so to speak, on SMM. The author is a Chilean legal eagle and she makes a detailed analysis:
at https://www.reddit.com/r/SaintMeghanMarkle/comments/1xdltmr/the_strange_accusation_against_thomas_markle/

It's a long piece but very readable and she is convinced that * is behind it. Her final words are
`This is really ugly'.
Maneki Neko said…
Again, the timeline doesn't make any sense to me.
In the DM, 'Meghan Markle has revealed she cut off contact with her father Thomas to safeguard her children, amid an investigation into 'disturbing' accusations he collected child sex images.'
But she cut him off just before the wedding and didn't have any children then. The whole thing is very odd.
abbyh said…
WBBM, I always like HE's analysis of things. How convenient to be a lawyer to boot for situations like this with her.

Well thinking about the timeline.

Just after Tom Sr stops supporting Tom Jr (if this part is true, that is a story worth reading as to why, etc) then that is something odd. Sibling supporting sibling or parent can shift like the wind. Money is a big driver of family fights, just saying. And some people are more focused on revenge than others.

It doesn't make sense to not at least privately say something to the BRF (Charles, the Queen) about why pushing her to reconcile with her father might not be a welcome idea way back when. After all, up until a week, two weeks before the wedding, she appeared to be all in for him to be there (a suit waiting for him in Spare, right?). Allegedly the King still has no idea why she would not want to even call her father as late as July. Surely that could have been mentioned when they all met up, right?

So why now? good question.

Maybe it is so basic as nothing else is working for them (so far on the return back) so maybe this will draw sympathy, support (and a groundswell of welcoming her back, welcoming in ways she/they have not seen seen since the engagement)?

On a different note, I saw a recent copy of AARP's cover. Martha. And it has all kinds of statements about how she is able to still stay ahead of cultural changes.

The plot thickens.
'Addressing the discrepancy between 2018, when Meghan said she was made aware of the claims, and 2019 when the Met said they received the letter, the Duchess acknowledged she may have been 'mistaken by a few months'.

Her spokesman said: 'In recalling events from more than seven years ago, without the benefit of a diary entry or contemporaneous record, it is understandable that she may have been mistaken by a few months.'

Yes, recollections may vary, indeed. I thought Megsy was taking notes on everything going on and sending them to the US. She's lied so often that no one believes her. Nothing is ever clear or straightforward with the Harkles. If this is to garner sympathy, I'm afraid the move will backfire.
The first, hardback, edition of Lady C's book `Meghan and Harry the Real Story was first published on 25th June 2020 (:https://www.goodreads.com/work/editions/83261603-meghan-and-harry-the-real-story) and IIRC this was when we first got an inkling that * was preparing to blacken her father's reputation with assertions of his being involved in the vile practise of child abuse.
I gave away my copy of the book long ago but I recall Lady C stating that she had been approached on the phone by mysterious persons encouraging her (with offer of money) to include something about TMS abusing * when she was a younger. Apparently, Lady C `told them where to get off' and suggested to her followers that * was planning to slander her father once he was dead and could not defend himself.

So the convoluted story that is now emerging comes as no surprise to me. Each day it seems increasingly likely to me that the true instigator is * herself. Consequently, she should be charged with wasting police time at the very least. After all, she does have `form' for this way back in her Toronto days.

What is interesting is how Lady C mentioned that this was dangled in front of her while Lady C was working on the first book. Way back when.

Who knew what when and who legally had the authority to do something about it - all good questions we are unlikely to read the answers to in People. Many people like to play internet sleuth for true crime - maybe they will dig into this?

On a sad note, someone in my family was SA and two others are suspected victims as well. Past the limitations deadline and so ... our victims are left with God/karma for justice.

So legally I would like for us all to remember that (in most countries) one is innocent before a trial - all of them. So as much as we may think/feel/want person X and or Y to be guilty/planting evidence and so on, let's not be judge and jury as write that they are guilty already. Thank you.

My own thoughts are
that TMjr is the one who packed the boxes for he and his father in the move to Thailand.
According to Samantha I believe, her father had no access to the boxes.
According to Samantha I believe, TMSr cut off TMjr over money (something Iike $80K or so).

TMsr gets the letter while in the hospital (filmed) and doesn't remember what it said and hasn't seen it since.

What if TMjr found that letter and decided to use it to his advantage?

What would be interesting to uncover (in the investigation by someone) is contact between TMjr and * with how this all fits in the overall timeline of disclosure.

So the question woke papers ask: Did the Royal family know about this in 2019 when Meghan "found out"?

We are seeing this story move to hurt people who are innocent in all this.

Will the truth of Harry's children some day be "the Royal family forced me to do all this" tells the baroness tears running her left cheek while she is shaking with sobs?

Nobody in their right mind would trust an idiot like Harry or a narc like Nutmeg with anything so important. But they are agents of chaos all on their own, and just keeping them financially secure enough to keep causing trouble might be enough to make it worthwhile at a time when the worst elements of society are being let loose on Western Civilization across the world, and things are getting more unstable every day. If you want to laugh just watch Spot on with Link Lauren's piece Meghan Markle FLEES country with Kids! I promise you will feel lighter in your heart!

I'm not sure * is actually fleeing the country as such but the lure of more $$$ is irresistible. She'll only be co-presenting •Junior•MasterChef. As a former British resident in Australia said, “She thinks she is a chef... She just wants money. She is there only trading on royalty, which she is no longer.”

Nothing has been said about Ravec's decision and Paula M is not reliable.

Ah, but that's the catch, isn't it? When Harry represents the Monarchy. Which he does not, and never will again.
Oh yes I know she is not reliable but on the other hand very few people who comment the Royal Family are. It can't go on without the Family noticing that this latest Markle catastrophe is very bad for them when every day we read new articles about possible pedophilia before any prosecution or trial. If the baroness has lied of anything concerning her father will she be prosecuted?

Where is the invisible line that is protecting the daughter-in-law of the Monarch before he removes her from the Royal Family website?

The sussexes do not set out to overshadow the Royal Family they tell us. They just spend all their waking hours jumping up and down screaming with shrill voices that "Hey we are here, look at us, we are here, look at us!!!!!" and when they sleep their PR people send thousands of messages all around the world about the very important things like: "The baroness looks at her daughter and cries constantly when she thinks of r@ped children".

Yes that is exactly as grave thing as the state visit of His Majesty to the Caribbean and it is right that we are informed about it.

They are a such pompous pair of brainless nonentities, truly!

So, when does the dirt on Meghan come out?

"This is only hearsay, but in London a Brit socialite who knew her way around money, Europe, royalty told me - and my companion, so I wasn't alone in hearing this - that Meghan was known in the old days. 'She was around the famous playgrounds Europeans visit...and known to be shopping for a rich husband.'" That's a quote from Cindy Adams in yesterday's New York Post . Cindy is old - so old that she interviewed the original Duchess of Windsor. "Who was also American,"  writes Cindy.   "She was not happy afterward. She was tough. I interviewed her. She was constantly looking to negotiate some sort of financial betterment." So, when does the dirt start coming out? How about now. Who will drop the information? We've had more than 1200 comments since the Sussex summit on Monday, so please allow me to repeat part of my answer to a question hidden somewhere within that forest of text. A regular commenter asked for my input ...

Meghan, Harry, and Community Property in California

This is what happens when I take too long to write a post. My original idea - that Meghan and Harry should consider purchasing one of the " cheap old houses " popular on Instagram and fix it up as part of a reality series - seems to have been overtaken by events. Page Six is reporting today that Meghan and Harry already have a house in Santa Barbara, near Oprah and Ellen's pads, and in fact have been living there for at least six weeks. (This is not entirely unexpected; Harry's most recent hostage video had a different background than usual.) "This is the first home either of them has ever owned," writes the couple's PR agent via Page 6. "It has been a very special time for them as a couple and as a family - to have complete privacy for six weeks since they moved in." They could probably still be having complete privacy if the couple's PR team wasn't leveraging their real estate news in order to promote the new book "Finding Freed...

New Year (and what's next?)

Another year and what will it bring for them (and us who watch)?   One thing I thought of is control of their image for appearances.  It isn't just that they have lost so many people in such a fairly short time period but who they lost.  The people who advised, handled details to make the events happen - road trips to volunteering.  We've been saying all along that each loss is a ripple of warning towards a potential new hire coming in.  New hires, yes but what about fund raising?  Cash flow?  This, from SMM, is an interesting read: https://www.reddit.com/r/SaintMeghanMarkle/comments/1puzsvh/impact_report_990_review_from_a_nonprofit/ Which leads us to money.  Keeping their image engine running costs a lot.  No doubt there are a lot details, paperwork, contracts to negotiate and find new groups to partner with.  Hence the need for a good team. The duo could do some of it or all but for how long?   side note: the peopl...
