Prince Andrew and Meghan

Prince Andrew's Instagram post from Christmas 2018 is a major dig at Meghan. She is in the frame - but she is entirely hidden behind Prince Charles. All you can see is the tiny blue feather of her hat peeping out over Charles' head.

Of all the photos taken that day, why would Andrew choose this particular one to post?

I see him as Meghan's greatest enemy within the family.

First of all, given his own salacious habits it's not impossible that he knows Meghan from her yachting days.

Secondly, Meghan is getting the kind of royal engagements and positions Andrew has long sought for his own daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. Charles is trying to slim down the monarchy and cut costs - a basic survival mechanism in a changing Britain - and has so far refused to add the girls to the public payroll.

(I think he will need them at some point, however, since hundreds of royal engagements every year are currently carried out by over-65s like Princess Anne, the Kents, and the Duke of Glouchester. Who is going to open the Bath Canine Society Championships Dog Show when they pass on?)

Thirdly, Meghan openly disrespected Andrew's daughter Eugenie, first by forcing Eugenie to push her long-planned spring 2018 wedding to October 2018, and then by announcing her pregnancy at Eugenie's wedding, taking the spotlight off the bride. The pregnancy announcement meant that in the week following the wedding most of the press was focused on Meghan, not on the long-suffering Eugenie and her very pretty wedding dress.

Nobody knows when Meghan is due, but if it is April as advertised, there was no need to announce on that particular day in October.

Andrew, as the family's least popular member, has very little to lose. There's not much chance of rehabilitating his own reputation (everyone knows about his ties to convicted sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and various dictators and despots), but he has two daughters that he would like to see treated as important royals.

If the price of getting Bea and Eugenie placed as full-time working royals is taking down Meghan, I'm sure he'd be happy to do that.

Look at Harry. Head facing the ground. Sure sign of low self-esteem, IMO.

Actually, I think he was bowing as the Queen went by! Meghan is curtseying, which is why she is hidden behind Charles. William is also bowing - you can see the top of his bald head.

Charles and Andrew are presumably not bowing because they were staying with the Queen at Sandringham and had already seen her once that day. Apparently you only bow or curtsey the first time you see the monarch on any given day.

That said, I agree with you that Harry looks like he has low self-esteem in most of the photos coming out recently. He looked crushed the other evening when they were boo'ed at Royal Albert Hall.

Thanks for creating this page. I cannot stand that woman. Her and her Moonbump have so many fooled.

I always felt Andrew did not approve of Meghan. Andrew is probably the best one - of the three brothers - to spot a social climbing yacht girl. Not that I'd judge anyone for their life choices but MM seems so devious and so obvious in her lust for the lux life, the estate, the galas, the adoration, the gowns, standing on stage holding her baby bump as if she expected everyone to love her. She's not right in the head but she pulled it off. I can see her with pal Marcus sipping chilled rose and planning her conquest of Harry at Soho House. It was all a set up and by the time anyone was on to her she'd be pregnant and there's no turning back. Her dad probably knows his daughter too well that's why he's been ghosted.

Gosh It Is Quiet In Here

There just hasn't been a lot from really either of them together or individually lately, has there? But why? Have they blown all their bridges, connections and are down to toss the proverbial kitchen sink for attention? I don't know.  We've heard that moving vans showed up at the house.  And nothing more like pictures from a neighbor happy to see the back of them. We've heard they bought a house on Portugal.   But the wording was kind of funny.  Multiple sources of the same thing - yes but that isn't a guarantee of proof as it could all be from the same source.  It was more along the lines of "We've been told that...".  It came off as a we really don't know if we believe this to be true or not so we are putting it out there but hedging our bets.  Or at least it did to me. And nothing more like exactly when, where or for how much or when they might visit it again.  Or pictures of the awesome inside.  Or outside.  Or requisite ...

Cliff Hanger

Deadlines for responses have passed.  Will they show?  Won't they show?   And, rumors of demands for money to cross hands to make appearances (new level of pay to play). Such drama.  You would think this was a soap opera where every episode ends with a crazy cliff hanger story plot to drive the next installment.  Sadly, I don't expect it to change any time soon either.  No.  For them, there appears to be way too much energy left in the will they, won't they to end it now even though everyone else is pretty much tired of it.  Hardly something one can point to and claim that they are trying to reconcile with those who feel distressed about what was printed. Just noticed something: remember that talk of trying to reach out and reconcile after the book, etc.?  It seems to have drifted away, hasn't it?  Hmm.  Interesting.  I wonder if that is recognized as a total lost cause or just delayed into the summer (or fall) campaign (c...

Here comes Trevor

If you're a Beatles fan, you'll know that in the fifty years since the group went its separate ways, almost everyone involved with them has sold his or her story. Only one major figure has not: Jane Asher , who was Paul McCartney's girlfriend for five years during the heyday of the group, and accompanied him on the famous trip to India in 1968. An actress, Jane went on to become a TV personality and famous cake-baker. She has never spoken about her time with McCartney and dislikes being asked. Until recently, the Sussex saga had included a similar figure: Trevor Engelson, Meghan Markle's ex-husband.  Trevor has never spoken about Meg. But he has done well for himself: he married a wealthy woman , continues to work as a producer , and seems to have a loyal (and multi-racial!) circle of friends , unlike some people we know.  He appeared to have excused himself from the whole soggy mess.  Until yesterday, when he was papped. Driving his black Porsch...
