Diorama

Diana did say, long ago
That she was a little bit slow
“thick as two short planks”
Harry’s excuse
For being rather obtuse
Stems from his mother
and her *fusion of ranks

*Diana instilling in Harry
he was equal in all things royal.
Wrong.

Hi Hunter-

Just a quick word about today’s over-emphasis on showering/hair washing/bathing – the pendulum’s going the other way now. As long as you feel comfortable and aren’t noticeably smelly, there’s no need to add guilt to your other feelings!

It was in the 1960s that manufacturers pushed the idea of it being desirable to wash hair daily, rather than weekly, because it was good for profits. Until then, a common brush-off to being invited out by a bloke one didn’t fancy was:

`Saturday? Nah! I’ll be I washing my hair.’ (a process which could take hours then – rollers, curlers, & pathetic hair driers!)

From the early 1920s onwards, there was a well-known slogan for a setting lotion: `Friday Night is Amami Night’ . See

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1262377/Wave-goodbye-secret-girls-curl-1950s-setting-lotion-discontinued.html for a real blast from the past.

Even the Queen would be reported as having her hair done just once a week (shampoo, colour rinse of `Chocolate Kiss’ & set). Apparently, she wears a headscarf when riding as a hard hat ruins One’s hairdo and One begrudges the time it would take to put it right! Also, wearing a hat, scarf, or crown helps to keep hair clean, and hides it when it's not!
Something funny happening here - I lost my first go at posting the above.

The 2nd time, I saw someone had posted a brilliant one word comment `Diorama'. I pressed `Publish' and that comment vanished.

Why is there a current spate of articles about M's 'mistake' about titles and protection in that interview? In my usual search of news once every 24 hrs this predominates. This was an easily checkable fact straight after the interview (that Oprah should have done at the editing stage or preferably before) and was known at the time by many but it's interesting sympathetic-to-Sussex publications like The Independent are looking at this now. And why is Omid Scobie admitting M 'may have been' wrong now? He only says what they wants him to say surely. I can't imagine the Sussexes are rolling back on this question, given M is still demanding 'an apology'.

Interesting quite a few stories stress that Prince Charles hasn't moved on from his initial upset and anger about all this. If anyone can indeed know what his state of mind is. We know he is focusing on streamlining the royals and is most concerned about the cost of the BRF as this could threaten their long-term survival (being the most expensive royal family in Europe - if we can still emotionally include ourselves in the term 'Europe'). It would only be natural that he keep returning mentally to the astronomical sums he spent on M. When annual costs came out, his household saw a dramatic spike and it was all down to her. He may as well have thrown that money on a Highgrove bonfire. Given Prince Charles went straight from his father's funeral to his Welsh refuge, to think hard about the financial, ceremonial and charitable future of the BRF, the Sussex profligacy and treachery will be standing out in painfully sharp relief, for the man who will be King.

There should be some uncomfortable squirming around in Montecito as I am even more convinced now that they will run out of money. H hardly seems to have hit the ground running for his new employers. I've had two American bosses and worked the hardest I've ever done in my life. I just can't see H lasting long. Netflix and Spotify have basically been told to wait ("Fine" they say, patting their closed wallets). It was interesting to read yesterday that for most British people they already see the Sussexes as permanently detached. Celebrities not royals. Peripheral. As we've all said before, it's the Duke and Duchess of Windsor all over again, except they had more solid financial reserves. That's going to be a crucial difference as we watch this play out.

Good Morning (or something).

Twins? I would have thought it would have come out in the interview? That would be oh such good click news they could have coasted on for a long time. It's not like at that point she would not have "known" in the timeline of a pregnancy.

And that was an interesting point (in the last post) - no pregnancy would mean technically fraud.

@Ava C, I reckon the recent feelers put out by H&M are a sign they are having major cash flow problems and are looking to make their way back to Charles's money spigot. They think Charles and family members will forget the other stuff if she kind of admits she might've been wrong about one little thing. It's all for show and she thinks they'll fall for it because they(and by extension us) are stupid. She blew the house up and is looking for sympathy and cash as if it wasn't her fault or that people would forget or ignore she was the one at fault.

@hunter, I'm sorry if what I said yesterday made things worse for you.

Lady Campbell made a good point in her video that by naming the baby Archie Harrison the Deranged Duo were sending a message to the RF that they were breaking away. So, to that point, the next kid won't be named Diana or Lilly, or Elizabeth, or any other royal name. But maybe Elly from the Clampett's. LCC did refer to them as the Beverly Hillbillies. LOL!

What IS it with these people? They talk publicly about various positive virtues that everybody ELSE is supposed to exhibit (while they exhibit none) and then expect their bad behavior to be forgiven and forgotten? Oh, wait, aren't they planning another blockbusting interview/expose?

Raise the drawbridge and fill the moat with Nile crocodiles raised on a diet of tourists.
@SwampWoman, How neat about the buzzard! Can't believe he was right up at your door.

They expect us to ignore their behaviour because they think they are our betters, and we're supposed to be forgiving/forgetting/ignoring and all that or else we're racist and mean. They deserve forgiveness but regular people do not. Two different sets of rules. She has never had real consequences in her whole life. Neither has he. That's why they think they should and can get away with it.

Excerpts from the Wall Street Journal, May1: Peaches Golding, the first black woman to hold the post of Lord Lieutenant in the UK-she is the Queen's honorary representative in Bristol. "Ms Golding has made recent headlines for her ardent defense of QEII and Britain's royal family against charges of racism sparked by H & M's interview with Oprah. I do not believe in the least that they are racists. They are a very respectful group of people, and I have never encountered racism at all."

Ms. Golding, speaking after the passing of Prince Philip, "commended the way he used his energy, drive and influence to promote the cohesiveness of society here in the U.K."

Ms. Golding singles out Prince Charles for special praise, having worked for nearly two decades for his Race for Opportunity charity. "He sees the barriers. he sees that his privilege can enable things to happen."

She adds that she was not offended to learn (so H & M claim; my own thoughts) that someone in the in the royal family wondered aloud how "dark PH & MM's child would be. "Unless you know the context, it's very difficult to know the intent."

So there! Has anyone else employed by the RF ever complained of racism by the family? Just had to add this today, as yesterday was my husband's birthday and I was too busy to post. I condensed and used abbreviations to save space.

@Hunter, please hang in there and stay with us. I've enjoyed your posts since I first saw you on CDAN, which let me here when Nutty announced her new blog, which we all now enjoy. Well I hope Prince Charles doesn't slip back and soften towards the Sussexes. Hopefully his father's death will act as a divide between his former self which the Sussexes seemed to be able to get around, and his new self, which is very much a king in waiting.

Not thinking of photos, but my late narc step-monster tried to play an angle on everything she did, usually ostensibly to save money (sometimes illegally), and it often came back to bite her or my dad or someone in the ass. For example, she kept the car Dad had given her registered in Colorado years after she'd sold the house there that he'd bought her. It was a mess after she died to get it in his name in his state.

Have we talked about this? I saw this idea referenced somewhere and got curious.

"Prince Harry will continue to leak information about the Palace until the Royal Family address his concerns, according to ABC royal contributor Omid Scobie."

The article is soon after Harry blabbed to Gayle King, but no wonder William is so angry. This is blackmail!

I just can't believe these two think they are being "strategic" and that the rest of the world admires them for this.

They have the screwiest thinking I have ever heard of. And Scabie is just as bad!

The issue is that H concerns WERE addressed during the Sandringham summit and earlier this year when the announcement was made the Disastrous Duo will not return to royal duty. They just didn't like the answer they got. The RF has always known H was a loose cannon. Never see photos of him with his nieces and nephews or cousins. Lots of pics of Tisdals and Cambridge kids along with other kiddos. Wasn't there an old saying -Don't call H, he will call you. Friends out of convenience, not genuine care. I doubt H$M have much ammunition other than suggestive comments. They NEED Charles and William $$$$$. They can't attack them directly, no matter how much they want too.

Thanks, Jdubya, it's a new video, issued today.

All I'd say is about UK ambulances: our local ambulances (far from Windsor) do pull in somewhere quiet awaiting a call, rather than returning to the ambulance station.

Why use an emergency ambulance in the livery of a public Ambulance Trust? Was it a scheme to suggest the child's being delivered by paramedics rather than by a helicopter? Was it a theatrical `prop' as used in TV dramas?

Why not use a normal vehicle?

Of course, the black vans labelled `Private Ambulance' are actually undertakers' (ie morticians) vehicles, collecting the deceased from their deathbeds and taking them back to the undertakers' premises to be prepared for the funeral.
Jdubya said…
@WBBM -

I would think, if they had a baby "delivered" (as in born elsewhere), they wouldn't be so public about it being delivered. Why would it be in an ambulance?

Her video was very interesting - what she knows vs what she thinks. I feel like if they had a surrogate with Archie, she was in Canada and the baby was flown in. then brought to them and then they waited a couple weeks. (I still am perplexed by H's remark about babies changing so much in 2 weeks).

I am thinking this pregnancy is actually a surrogate. Much easier to pull off in CA than other places. Gestational surrogate. Her egg/his sperm. And i think they planted the recent twin girls rumor. Desperate for attention.

I really wish actual proof would come out about all of it. Although Bookworm is right about the uproar it would cause of the RF knew and kept it secret. If they knew, it was well in to the pregnancy, not when they got back from Australia. And they could simply claim that due to medical confidentiality laws, they could not reveal it. ???

The RF usually doesn't discuss family health matters publicly.

In the normal course of things, had #6 married a mentally stable wife, surrogacy might have been allowed to pass without comment. Unless, many years on, #6 and his child suddenly moved up the Line of Succession as a result of very unfortunate events. By that time, few of today's senior royals might be around, memory of Diana could have faded at last, and public attitudes and/or the law might have changed, to the point where nobody would be particularly bothered.

It's their own need to play silly buggers that has created this situation IMO.

They are still set on creating chaos, if recent reports are to be believed. #6 apparently intends to release more `dirt' unless the RF caves in and cash is forthcoming - blackmail in other words.

The only ray of hope I can see is that they are getting such a reputation for lying that they won't be believed.
SirStinxAlot said…

Im going to have disagree with you. The RF does discuss health issues. H getting his ball surgery as a kid, William having Covid, Phillips heart surgery, H mental health issues, other women in the RF having miscarriages like Sophie and Zara, birth in the bathroom floor, Kate pregnancy issues, etc.
SwampWoman said…
I'm not so sure that the RF 'knew' so much as 'suspected'. It would be difficult to go public with a suspicion because the Disastrous Duo may be waiting for them to make an accusation, then they could scream RACISM! as they presented certified statements of doctors and other medical professionals in attendance.

To counter this, I believe the RF should request actual proof of both the child known as Archie and unknown alleged girl's birth from Harry's future ex-wife's body. If no proof, no line of succession. Personally, I think Harry should be removed because I don't think he's fit. Lucky for Harry, the RF doesn't care what I think (grin). Also lucky for Harry that they would remove him from the succession via paperwork, not swordsman.

1) Yes, IF there was a mentally stable wife. Since it appears that these alleged children are products of two mentally unstable individuals, what are the odds that they will be normal?

2) I would want #6 and his 'children' removed from the Line of Succession so as not to give crazy people ideas about helping them up the ladder.

I agree with Swampwoman...
I think the RF may have suspected something odd about M pregnancy but certainly couldn't publicly confirm anything. They would not have really 'known' until late in the gestation process or after the "birth". Medical Privacy Laws are pretty sticky. Since M$H technically 'work' for the RF, does their employer have the right to publicly disclose your health information to the public without your consent?? I doubt it. Everyone has the right to a certain level of control over their private health information. Example: Joe Biden possibly having Dementia or some other deteriorating disease. Not opening up for political discussion, just making a point about health privacy and public entitlement. The public would like to know about these types of things regarding ALL politicians and representatives of the people or does the individual have the right to HIDE the truth?

The Home Secretary has to attend royal births until this was abolished just before Prince Charles was born in 1948. I've been searching online for what safeguards there are now and all the articles I've read treat this as a quaint, fluffy, light-hearted matter and don't answer the question. No one ever seems to have envisaged a grifter like M.

This is no laughing matter now. It must have been the Queen who abolished the requirement. She needs to put something else in place. I did read that it was only ever relevant to direct heirs to the crown. If the Sussexes are deemed too lowly to require vigilance, the Cambridges must stop travelling together. If they don't, the Sussexes remain unacceptably close to the throne and all precautions must be taken.

I cannot begin to accept a #8 born in another country to a couple who habitually employ falsehoods, manipulation and exaggeration and seem to enjoy mystery and secrecy to a pathological degree.

The Sussex obstetrical saga, chapters 1 and 2, undermines our constitutional monarchy. I don't understand why the Palace puts up with it. Lady C's book goes into detail about the Palace's consternation, frustration and anger about the silly buggers game they played last time. Yet now we're about to see an even more uncontrolled version. M is just laughing at us and H, as ever, does nothing to stop it.

I say 'about to see' but M, as before, has been 'heavily pregnant' for what seems like forever, so it could go on for what seems like forever. Someone should put together all the bump photos from last time, like an advent calendar. Every time you open a little door you get a surprise. Sometimes flat. Sometimes humungeous. And all stages in between.

The Queen wouldn't have had to ability to change anything before Charles was born, as she was not the Monarch at the time. Perhaps her father made the change? It's one thing to have one's female in-laws observed while delivering, but quite a bit more squeamish, maybe, to think of one's own daughter being treated thus.

Funny how we always assume previous generations were so prudish, and yet many royal births were watched, and earlier still, the wedding consummations!

I don't suppose it's possible H has already been removed from the succession and it wasn't announced? One can only wish. If Parliament is the mechanism, I suppose it would have to be made public?

I wonder if M knows how lucky she was that she was only supposed to have the Queen's doctors in attendance during childbirth? Royal brides in the past had to put up with a lot worse. I was shocked to read recently that the French king, Francis I, attended the consummation of his son's marriage to Catherine de Medici:

Catherine was the daughter of Lorenzo de Medici, Duke of Urbino, and the niece of Pope Clement VII. Henry had been forced to marry her in 1533 by his father, Francis I, who needed Medici support for his Italian diplomacy. Both parties were just fourteen, and it was a mésalliance. Perhaps not least because Catherine was expected to consummate her marriage in front of her father-in-law – he joked that she had ‘shown valour in the joust’ – she disliked sex. [I'm not surprised!]

Taken from John Guy's biography of Mary Queen of Scots. I still haven't finished his book on the later years of Elizabeth I's reign, as he apparently strips away all the things that make her, still now, the nation's greatest monarch. Even if it's an illusion I still need to believe in it. He's at Cambridge and when I was working there I kept wanting to ring his direct line and tell him to stop undermining my favourite queen. We need figureheads! I loved Elizabeth smacking Walsingham on the head in 'Elizabeth the Golden Age'. That at least wasn't fiction. Boris needs to serve the first Elizabeth not the second. She'd make him behave and she'd certainly expect him to comb his hair.

@AvaC: re: Watching consummation and births in ye old times.

This was normal practise in all walks of life all across Europe. We hear about the Kings and Queens and the occasional aristocrat because it was written down.

However, as the example of Katherine of Aragon and Arthur, Prince of Wales or James 2 and Mary of Modena's baby James Francis Edward, having physical witnesses didn't mean a different version of events couldn't be spun to reach a different outcome.

And it was the example of James Francis Edward's birth that kind of codified the need for verification of the birth.

In the modern era, it's done via official royal doctors. They are not just there to ensure the best medical advice for the head of state. They are there as official witnesses.

By refusing to use the official doctors, Archie's birth will always be suspect even though he is a welcome part of the family.

For the sake of fairness and good public opinion, the family will accept Diana Junior regardless of the flouting of verification protocols in place. It's not worth fighting for a baby born at no 8.

With few exception due to extraordinary circumstances, there has never been a fuss over a baby born at no 8. Frankly, unless they are the children of the monarch or the PoW, no one cares about the other children.

The only exception was Queen Victoria who was technically born at no 5. In her case, circumstances were exceptional and she was the only legitimate heir therefore her birth was important which required and received special attention.

Morning all! Just an off topic post but relates to other postings here...

Hikari - thank you for the link to Heygo, I'm doing my first tour this morning (Porto at 11am GMT) along with my sister who lives in Italy and I have ringmarked a few for later in the week (Spoleto in Umbria plus a few others).

Ava C mentions the following in her earlier post re: validating the birth of a royal baby: 'Catherine was the daughter of Lorenzo de Medici, Duke of Urbino, and the niece of Pope Clement VII.

Urbino (in Le Marche, Italy) is simply stunning so if Heygo ever do a tour of there then I'm definitely up for booking that and recommend others to also book it, it's a Unesco World Heritage site and is steeped in so much history and if you ever get the chance to go it's beautiful and not teaming with tourists unlike others cities on the general sightseeing tours. It was the birth place of Raphael and more recently Valentino Rossi.

Back to the duo, why is the wife listed as 'chair' if she didn't actually attend the Vax charity event? is this some sort of scam to pull in their foundation for receiving funds and taking credit? Or is she laying low because she's not got a suitable size of moon bump for this stage of her supposed pregnancy?....

Hello Nutties. I will try again to post :-) I have been lurking for some time mainly due to not being very technically minded, however my husband kindly set me up on this blog so I can finally comment! I am of the opinion that H & M used a surrogate, and are likely using another for the second child. Although not previously particularly Royalist the antics of the Montecito two have very nearly turned me! I am horrified at their vulgarity, and initially thought that H was simply dim and dumb, but now think he is as bad as his wife, it has just been carefully covered up while he was in the UK with protection from the RF. His latest attempt to offer himself for hire or reward is simply embarrassing - even if he did leave his pimp at home. Amongst my friends and acquaintances there is no one who has anything positive to say about either of them, in fact they are detested by all. I am in the UK and a previous role I had brought me into some wider contact with some of the RF, in fact Anne, who I admire is - or maybe was if patronages are reduced - patron of an organisation I belong to. I was lucky enough to sit at the next table to her at an event, and was impressed by her attitude and speech to the guests. She must be sick of the pair of shirkers in America. I have enjoyed reading all of your thoughts and comments and look forward to what else the M Two give us to discuss!

Yes, Harry recei a standing ovation: 'Prince Harry received a standing ovation as he strode onto a stage in LA last night and offered thanks to front-line workers and urged Americans to 'look beyond ourselves with empathy and compassion' during the star-studded Vax Live charity concert.'

I must say he looks good in the photos, in a blue shirt and smiling. Funny how he always looks so much more relaxed and happy without his jailer/controller next to him. I'm not sure, though, how he could talk about empathy and compassion considering how he and that wife of his have treated his family and hers.

The wife won't like that he received a standing ovation and will kick herself for not attending. Will she hit him, or at least berate him, when he gets home for being so popular? It wouldn't surprise me.

I just read this "ask" on a blog

Anonymous asked:

I didn't realize it was called the concert to reunite the world. What arrogance. Lol Americans can't even unite themselves but Selena and Ben Afflek will do it. Eddie Vedder can't even get Pearl Jam to reunite. And Harry and Meghan have fractured themselves from their families. But they'll reunite the world. Give me a break.

LOL! So true!

Hi, @ lucy, It is all very strange...I don't understand why they couldn't be honest if it was surrogacy. Surely if she was genuine she could have done a lot of good and helped many families who were going through the same thing by highlighting her experience? I believe she has NPD and her mentality just won't let her do anything for the greater good - it MUST be all about her, and her 'influence' on everyone. It is as if she has an idea of how things should be and she demands everything falls into place according to her vision - even if her vision is fantasy, which is why she will never admit to surrogacy, if that is the case.

@ Maneki Neko , I wondered why she wasn't there . Could it be that she was worried about getting the right size pillow in the right position? Or is she plotting something really big that is taking up her time?
Ava C said…
I think it's conceivable M was dissuaded from attending the Vax thing as she demonstrably makes all events about her and is a divisive figure to many. Although H has memorably hijacked several events for himself. Perhaps two people like that was thought to be asking for trouble?

I'm increasingly getting the feeling she's cursed by unpopularity outside the US and cursed by indifference inside the US. Her supporters are really very niche, especially now there's such widespread hardship. The people who support her are the very people who put people's backs up in everything they do. She is slowly sinking while Harry is a skimming stone. The end is the same for both of course.

The optics here are becoming repetitive. Of Meghan lobbing grenades from the 21st century luxe equivalent of a castle but only H being sent out to face the music. Her cowardice has been evident for years - most memorably for me the time she ended her marriage by post.

I don't quite class her treatment of her father as cowardice. More like furtive panic. I was reading in Lady C's book that that has been her Achilles heel throughout. It has come back to haunt and condemn her over and over again. However Lady C wrote that it was absolutely necessary for M to stop H meeting her father before the marriage, as her poor little me making my way through the world alone shtick was what hooked him, apart from the obvious. Even if she had had the benefit of hindsight, she would still have had to act as she did, to avoid ending up as a little-known cable TV actress with a remarkably thin CV, aged 40.

There was no long term mileage in characters like Rachel Zane. She was already clinging on by her fingertips. To transition to a character actress you have to be able to act. Lady C summed it up: "What Meghan had in spades was ambition, but it was an ambitiousness way beyond her discernible attributes". I would have clung to the BRF like a life raft if I was in her position but now she has increasingly to fall back on her own attributes again. What she would see as a rock solid advantage she didn't have before - her "royalty" - has turned out to be the equivalent of gold plating. Already wearing thin.

Personal note - I'm taking a break now Nutties as I really must focus on wider job hunting now I'm approaching my second vaccination. I've been doing occasional remote working for a previous employer since I moved to Scotland last summer but need to get serious now. I've also been asked to monitor my blood-pressure by a concerned GP so the Sussexes are contraindicated! I shall look at the headlines once a week and only write here on Sundays. Unless The Great Day comes early and William the Scarfer takes control. I can trust my mother to tell me if that happens. Donning my Dame Edna Everage purple wig I shall just say "I love you all dahlings!".
Oh dear, why has the thought that #6 may have `b*mped her off' crossed my mind?

Whatever life positions the 2 of them started from, they are both now equally corrupt.

I just read that the attendees to the vax thing were already standing--thus, no "standing ovation." Obviously, in a standing ovation, people are seated and then, overcome by admiration or respect, they rise and . . .ovate.

So I imagine it was polite applause by a group that was already standing.

This is quite a puff piece on all the Sussexes' so called achievements. Still, I enjoyed this little dig...

...the jokes about Harry’s new life as a tech bro began rolling in: “prince harry in a patagonia vest slamming drinks in the marina after his barry’s class WHEN,” asked one Twitter user. And certainly, “chief impact officer” is one of those titles that, true to Silicon Valley form, is just vague enough to suggest an amorphous-but-senior role and a hefty salary.

I don’t think the RF knows the truth about Archie.

Think of it this way- if it was Canadian born- everyone involved would be sued into oblivion by Markle of the info was shared with the Queen. I think the RF team understands this about Meghan. Imagine a BRF member suing healthcare entities for $$$$.
On top, then there would be succession discussion which would further harm the BRF reputation.
I think their strategy is IF the info came out, it can’t come from them and they’d rather not know.

I’ve never really thought Harry and Meghan willingly left the RF. I assume the trip to Canada was their warning. Of course, they couldn’t comply and decided to take matters into their own hands thinking they had many deals lined up and ‘no one was going to tell them what to do!’ Hence all the public stabs at the RF, the Grudge and anger. The interview. All of it. Doesn’t line up at all with ‘we willingly and happily went on our way!’

I don’t think the BRF knows the truth about Archie, and I think they only somewhat care out of the sheer arrogance of it all.

Harry on stage in America is a pathetic sight to see.

I just don’t understand the point of the global citizen bs event. Countries in the G20 have already pledged to give vaccines to poorer countries. Astra Zeneca is producing it at cost. Some G20 countries don’t even have enough at the moment to even give first doses to the most vulnerable. The propaganda they are peddling just makes me so mad.
Does anyone know how much the shindig cost? If the performers gave their time for free? How much will really go to the `Good Cause'?

No, I didn't think so.

Perhaps they weren't going to pay the wife and that's why she stayed away? She didn't let the bump get in her way, literally or metaphorically, before.

My other thought on Harry's wife - if perfomers were getting paid for the Vax event, if hes getting paid to be a Chimp, and she has no demonstrable income - voila half of his assets/income (excluding BRF trusts) are now hers and she didnt have to do a thing for it. Baby coming (ha) and poor megs will have that shark divorce lawyer grabbing as much as she can get. Shes working on gig/hubby number 3 or 4 Harry cant say anything about the providence of the kids = because he would then be publicly accused of lying or defrauding based on that. She's got him by the you know what.

Yeah and I kinda agree she is having work done ahead of the bid People spread - dorito's foot next to harry's wife's face, baby swaddles, with harry's wife smiling like a cheshire cat. Need to get the swelling and scars down before the big shoot. airbrushing and touch ups can be expensive.

Let's state the obvious - JCMH is the draw, not His Wife. The picture in the DM of him under the banner of his name in lights was probably his dream come true and literal middle finger salute to his family that he could do what he wanted all along.

I agree with HW's moonbump issues. If one is heavily pregnant at the funeral with a Summer due date (July 1 being tossed out) then I am the Queen of Sheba. Same song, second verse.

I am in hopes that ALL the media are on to these two after ?17 statements have been refuted as lies, Oprah has offered a disclaimer, and we are seeing less of the two in the British print media.

I hope the rumor of her having twin girls is false. The quote (from lipstick alley?) that was posted here earlier claimed that the’d be named Diana and Beth. Beth is the name of one of Camilla’s rescued Jack Russell Terriers.

Meghan looked to have a recent fake bump without any weight gain in the Archie school walk photo.

If she appears at the Covid thing on the event release date this week, she will look skinny with a bump. Harry was very dressed down for his appearance. She will probably be in jeans. If she goes high glam I wouldn't be surprised. Fact is, she will be skinny due to surogate.

Washington Post Article Part 1

In Montecito, Calif., a 9.3-square-mile coastal enclave nestled between the Santa Ynez mountains and the Pacific, where gray whales swim by the shoreline, avocado and citrus trees bear fruit nearly year-round and there’s nary a sidewalk in sight, multi-acre properties near the beach routinely sell for upward of $20 million. You can surf in the mornings and hike scenic foothill trails on weekend afternoons and look out for celebrities who live nearby, like Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Adam Levine and Katy Perry.

Yes, the town has ample attractions to lure Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, into buying a $14.7 million home after “stepping back” from the royal family last year. But there’s another reason the location makes sense: The couple is modeling their new life together on those of the Oprahs and Ellens around them. Through various business moves, two new jobs for Harry and a PR-savvy, revelation-packed interview with Oprah herself earlier this spring, they are reinventing themselves as multihyphenate American celebrities, the kind who dabble in content, philanthropy, technology and a tasteful dash of politics.

Essentially, they are becoming a brand — and their unique royal sparkle would make them especially well positioned to leverage that brand across many different areas. That wasn’t an option for Harry’s great-great uncle, the Duke of Windsor, when he abdicated his position as king back in 1936. But whether this new form of fame will give the Sussexes a happier and more sustainable life remains to be seen.

Washington Post Part 2

“Harry and Meghan will be sought after socially in America and paid generously (some might say exorbitantly) for their celebrity value,” said Kitty Kelley, a biographer who’s written books about the Kennedy family, Winfrey and the British royal family, in an email. “Not even the biggest U.S. movie star or sports giant can claim Harry and Meghan’s link to the British monarchy.”

Still, the former actress and semi-prince are restyling themselves in the image of such stars and giants who start out in one field and then end up in all of them — performers like Dwayne Johnson and Jennifer Lopez, athletes like LeBron James and Serena Williams, models like Tyra Banks, chefs like Bobby Flay and, of course, political families, the most famous recipients of the “American royalty” moniker. Jacqueline Kennedy was known to use her celebrity for charitable causes; now the Clintons are creating novels, podcasts and docuseries. Barack and Michelle Obama launched podcasts on Spotify (“The Michelle Obama Podcast” for her; “Renegades” with Bruce Springsteen for him) and partnered with Netflix to produce a slate of socially conscious movies and shows, such as the documentaries “American Factory” and “Crip Camp” and the cooking series “Waffles + Mochi.”

Films! Novels! Springsteen! The Obamas and Clintons seem to be having the time of their lives.

So by the time the Sussexes made their royal exit in 2020, the blueprint for what to do next was already there. Archewell Audio, the podcast they host and produce in partnership with Spotify, launched in December with an episode featuring reflections on the elapsed year from stars like Elton John, James Corden and Stacey Abrams. On April 6, the couple’s Archewell Productions announced the first project to come out of their multiyear deal with Netflix: “Heart of Invictus,” a docuseries about the Invictus Games, the international competition for athletes with disabilities that Harry founded in 2014.

Archewell, which also includes a foundation, states on its website that all of its endeavors aim to “unleash the power of compassion to drive systemic cultural change.” It’s named for the Greek word meaning “source of action,” which reportedly influenced the name of their son, Archie. Last week, it announced the couple would be co-chairs of a charity concert in May to help bring coronavirus vaccines to the world’s poorest countries.

Kelley noted that there’s some precedent for royals (or ex-royals) crossing the pond to make money: Sarah, the Duchess of York, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, partnered with the U.S.-based company then known as Weight Watchers as a spokesperson in 1997. The Sussexes, though, seem to be aiming to put a more glamorous and ambitious twist on the Fergie model.
JerseyGirl said…
Washington Post Part 3

After the arrival of their second child, a girl, later this year, Meghan will eventually resume some of her philanthropic work on behalf of women and girls. (A spokesperson for the couple declined to comment on the record for this article.) In March, Harry joined the nonprofit Aspen Institute’s Commission on Information Disorder, which will study misinformation and disinformation in the United States. He was also named chief impact officer at the San Francisco-based BetterUp, a tech start-up that partners with employers to offer coaching that promotes organizational harmony and growth. As soon as the latter announcement hit the Internet, the jokes about Harry’s new life as a tech bro began rolling in: “prince harry in a patagonia vest slamming drinks in the marina after his barry’s class WHEN,” asked one Twitter user. And certainly, “chief impact officer” is one of those titles that, true to Silicon Valley form, is just vague enough to suggest an amorphous-but-senior role and a hefty salary.

Divina Gamble, managing partner of the management-consulting firm Korn Ferry, noted that roles like these, often with “impact” in the title, have been growing in popularity in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds, and that they often have oversight of how the company promotes or maintains social responsibility.

For years, Silicon Valley companies have worked with celebrities in any form they can, often enjoying the free press it generates. Sometimes those partnerships consist of little more than the celebrity showing up, promoting the product and collecting a check: Justin Bieber, for example, “unveiled” a dancing robot called mRobo at the 2012 CES tech conference in Las Vegas.

Some celebrities, though, try to be more involved in the companies that pay them by accepting similarly amorphous-but-lofty titles like “creative director.” Everyone from Justin Timberlake (Bud Light Platinum) to Jay-Z (Puma Basketball) to Lady Gaga (Polaroid) has been a creative director.

While it’s common for companies to claim that their celebrity employees are doing real work and participating in developing the company’s strategy, it’s unclear how many are going into an office, looking at spreadsheets and chatting about their weekends in the kitchenette. BetterUp has stated that Harry will “expand on the work he’s been doing for years, as he educates and inspires our community and champions the importance of focusing on preventative mental fitness and human potential worldwide.” The company did not respond to a request for further specifics, and we may never know them. The Duke of Sussex does not appear likely to post his duties on LinkedIn — unlike other celebrities-as-brands, the Sussexes don’t have a social media presence, for now.

Still, Harry isn’t an entirely out-of-the-blue pick for the company. He’s been vocal about supporting mental health causes, one of the few remnants of his old life that has carried over into his new one. In 2016, alongside his brother, Prince William, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Harry led a U.K. campaign to end the stigma around mental health issues, called Heads Together; three years later, with Meghan on board, the same group promoted a mental health campaign called Every Mind Matters. Stateside, Harry is continuing work on a documentary series about mental health with Winfrey for Apple TV Plus. (First announced in 2019, the series was delayed by the couple’s move from the U.K. and then by covid-19.)

Washington Post Part 4

When the Duke of Windsor, former King Edward VIII, left the throne 85 years ago to marry Wallis Simpson, a divorcée and an American, their post-royal lifestyle was posh: The Duke wrote a memoir and served for five years as the governor of the Bahamas. “They lived luxuriously in the Bahamas and Paris, and always traveled as royal ‘guests,’ ” Kelley noted in an email. (That said, a 2018 biography of Simpson painted a picture of an unhappy union, and the Duke’s legacy has come under scrutiny for his apparent pro-Nazi sentiments.)

In their new life, Meghan and Harry may similarly enjoy some of the perks of still being blood relations of the royals. Unlike the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, who were known to host parties often, the Sussexes seem to crave a somewhat private home life.

Their chosen home of Montecito may be the perfect place to pursue it. In the quiet Santa Barbara-adjacent village, celebrities and moguls can count on being able to go about their business each day un-gawked-at and unapproached. “They’re left in peace, they raise their families … and just enjoy kind of an idyllic lifestyle” while sending their kids to “first-class, award-winning schools,” said Joy Bean, a Montecito-based real estate agent for Sotheby’s. “It’s far from the madding crowd, although we’re only 90 minutes from Los Angeles.”

Soon, the Sussexes may be just another hard-working, high-earning, southern California couple, trying to raise two little kids while balancing a tech job, a podcast, an assortment of philanthropic commitments and some projects with Netflix. You know — the American Dream.

An SS event set up for SS clients I think will ensure standing ovations, rapturous applause, hoorays, shrieks of joy - am trying to list whatever we may soon hear of the reception to the duo - either as a performance, or as background sound edits played to sound like the crowd, or in press coverage.

Remember when they received this standing ovation

Though I appreciate it very much and your many comments on hair washing were actually funny, no harm no foul. Stylists doing blow-outs and hot presses and all kinds of shit I just never had any clue before. Twists, protective styles - some of this shit takes EIGHTEEN HOURS, these women are in a weirdly traumatic relationship with their hair.

It's really opened my eyes to not only what is possible (I had no idea) but the personal anguish and time and effort and anxiety and maintenance that can go into ever-curlier/kinkier versions of curly hair. Crazy stuff.

I am a white girl with hair like Alicia Silverstone so my hair life has always been set on Easy.

I just read on another page - that someone at the Vax concert said that the mosh pit in front were the one's standing and that before he came out, they announced and told everyone to give him a hand. That a lot of them were like, who's that? Why is he here? He's a Prince? a Duke Huh? what the hell?

First of all we heard about tweaking.

"Blind Item #9
Ever since shows began being filmed in front of a studio audience, they have shared a couple things in common. One, is that some person is trying to keep you involved in the taping and the other is that you are told when to clap and given encouragement to be crazy loud when you clap for someone. So, when you see the video making its way around today of the ginger one, they did the same for everyone else too. It was for a television show, in front of a live audience and the audience was told when to clap and to make sure they were loud."

hunter said: WBBM mentioned the weekly hair day - OMG so you guys I really got into watching black youtuber girls doing various hair things.

@ hunter, OMG, me too! I've been watching a young UK woman with a (to me) delightfully musical accent try "white girl" hair styling products. She's great! Sometimes the products are surprisingly successful; sometimes a dismal failure, but so much fun! I always knew the time factor in taking care of "black" hair because, contrary to what the media says, most of us southern USA white(ish) folks have friends and family that are mixed race.

Seriously, a black mother, grandmother, or auntie is not going to let her child go to school with bad hair if she has any life left in her body, and that hair takes HOURS. With *most* of my grandkids, I can run a comb through their hair and done. But, with youngest grandson, I'm doing the oil treatment comb outs, and keeping my fingers crossed that we won't get near an open flame until that oil is absorbed into his hair and, y'all, HE HAS SHORT HAIR. When I see the little girls with the multiple plaits, ribbons, and decorative barrettes and flowers, sometimes I can't control myself and have to stop and congratulate total strangers because I *really* know the time and effort that goes into it.

I think that we as humans might be better off if we stepped into other people's shoes occasionally. /There's a difference between 'knowing' it because I've seen it, and 'knowing' it because I've done it/experienced it.

That being said, I have no intention of putting on my priciest clothing and hiring paps to go out and see what being a celebrity would be like (grin). That's a "oh, HELL, no!" bridge too far for me!

So there's a new horizon and challenge for Harry's wife. This must be exciting news for her.

@SwampWoman - YES! I have really enjoyed it and I think I know the girl you're talking about.

I also started following this girl's channel Deeper Than Hair (link below) because she has a really soothing voice and explains things nicely and then when you see her she's really pretty and cute too, she is an American who mostly treats black hair but also other curly types (mixed race, etc) and she's a wizard.

I'm also astonished by the transformations because I was ignorant about what is possible for some of these ladies. Also she combed out and rescued a woman's (horribly napped) hair who had neglected it over months. She gave that woman new life.

https://www.youtube.com/c/DeeperThanHairTv/videos

What I really notice though, listening to these girls, is how much weight the entire issue is for them, especially listening to different ones from different cultures or hair types, it is just a MASSIVE MASSIVE pain in the ass and then they feel they have to APOLOGIZE to the entire black community with a five-min disclaimer if they even consider relaxing their "natural" hair, it's all just such a psychological burden.

I enjoy watching and yes, one learns a LOT just observing and listening, I had no idea.

@jessica,

I don’t think the RF knows the truth about Archie. I think their strategy is IF the info came out, it can’t come from them and they’d rather not know.

I go half and half on this question. It is plausible that they didn't know in the early going, like when she derailed Eugenie's wedding in her huge-ass coat and announced to everyone that they'd had the 12-week scan and blah-blah. That may have been the first anyone in the RF knew anything about it. M was within her rights to choose her own doctor and keep that information private even if her grandmother-in-law is the Queen. M loves to sandbag people at the 11th hour, because literally the next day they were flying Down Under. It was one of her lob-and-run stratagems. Because ordinarily there would be medical concerns about letting a pregnant lady in the 2nd trimester (she said) fly to known Zika areas. M wasn't even supposed to go on the tour initially; it had been planned for H many months or a year-plus prior to the marriage and M was jammed in at the last minute, creating no small headaches for their hosts. Just a tiny foretaste of the headaches she'd create once she arrived . . .

So the RF could say that M insisted on flying AMA and their hands were tied. Also tied vis. her doctors and her absolute refusal to share anything about the progress of her pregnancy or the birth plan, anything. It is wondrous bordering on unbelievable that the Palace would have asked no more probing questions regarding H's first child's impending arrival, just to insure that mom and baby were both healthy and doing well.

My feeling is, the RF *knew* prior to the 'birth' circus that the DoS was not expecting in the normal fashion. But they do not *know 'officially'* and due to M's pathological need for secrecy, the RF can claim, rightly so that since the Duchess never informed them of a single thing regarding her pregnancy, they couldn't be expected to know that things weren't exactly as M said.

She wants to be believed without question until she decides that her plan for Teflon 'mystery' didn't work out so well for her and then all of a sudden, she cries victim . . ie, people 'should' have known and 'should' have helped. But if she's a crypt, she can't have it both ways.

I really thought things would come to a head after 'the polo'. Clock Catherine's face and the faces of everyone around M. They are looking at an insane woman parading around a plastic 'baby' that never moved or twitched for over an hour? in the hot sun with noise and people. H and William had fisticuffs or nearly . . the combatants needed to be restrained. Why would William be so upset? Because a madwoman was lurking near his family posing for papp pictures . . .AND THE 'CHILD' WAS NOT REAL.

Even after that performance the Queen still let her go on the SA tour and humiliate the Crown still further. Mystifying. She should have been grounded and sent to a sanitorium disguised as a spa.

@HappyDays, "Dear Bill, I'd love to help you donate your fortune!"
@Jocelyn'sBellinins: yes on the mosh pit dive, with an unexpected "assist" from behind!

I think the Bill and Melinda Gates divorce with them "no longer growing in the same direction" is probably code for:

(a) "I want to chase hot young gold diggers and Melinda isn't down with that!" (If that is the case, we'll hear about it PDQ.) An added complication could be that:

(1) Gold digger may be pregnant.

(2) Gold digger may be his youngest daughter's age.

(b) He succumbed to a foreign espionage honeypot and the unsavory details are going to come out soon.

The above are fun, but my most probable guess is:

(c) He and Melinda have differing ideas about the direction of the Foundation, each thinks the other is batshit crazy, and they aren't on speaking terms at this point and their communications are through their attorneys.

What would be best for everybody would be if Harry's future ex-wife is carrying little Baby Gates. Sadly, I don't think that she's pregnant. It would distract Bill Gates from World Domination, and Harry's future ex would be happy to help him get rid of all that nasty money. There are so many needy yak growers and plastic surgeons out there.

As part of Gates’ wedding agreement (as reported back in 1997) Bill was allowed to spend one weekend a year with an old girlfriend at her beach house, alone with her.

When asked about the arrangement, Gates said it was simply a weekend of walking on the beach, miniature golf, and long discussions about biotechnology. I will find the 1997 article and link it in a separate comment in a minute.

When I was working on the Microsoft Redmond campus, for six months with a project, I sometimes had an impromptu dinner with his team at a sushi spot not far away in an upscale outdoor mall, or when they cooked out on the camps itself, or with two whose condos were near mine. Bill was said to be odd in meetings, not particularly impressive (surprising to new employees) in meetings, not always up to date and they eventually assumed others did the work and thinking. This was about a dozen years ago. People were polite about it, but consistent in their comments that he didn’t seem to be very knowledgeable about technology or the business. I don’t know how to parse that today.

A friend in Seattle (another company) tells me rumor is the split is to ensure all assets cannot be touched if something comes out. In other words, half of his 130 billion (number from my friend, I haven’t looked it up for accuracy) would remain out of touch with his “ex” wife.

Slightly off topic, but connected to the Sussex vaccine event, just copied from a local Seattle news site:

A classified study of the origin of SARS-CoV-2 conducted a year ago by scientists at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the Department of Energy’s premier biodefense research institution, concluded the novel coronavirus at the heart of the current pandemic may have originated in a laboratory in China.

Also tales of drug testing in AFrica with problems. The fact that he was pushing the vaccine frightened me. He had Tom Hanks as his #1 guy to push it. He is buying farm property all over the world and wants us to get away from "real meat" and go to genetically modified. To save the environment.

I was thinking that, too, because of his vaccine "problems" and buying up of farmland, etc. IIRC, it was Bill Gates that was talking about the next pandemic being a coronavirus before a coronavirus pandemic kicked off (I had figured it would be a new influenza virus). The link to the story about Gates and his annual weekend with his former girlfriend (WITH A BONUS CHARLES/CAMILLA REFERENCE!)

https://www.spokesman.com/stories/1997/mar/09/beaches-biotech-and-bill-now-that-gates-is/

[I remember EVERY guy I knew talking about this back then, and swearing they would add this to their pre-nup if they ever married!] here is a humorous article about it:

AGAIN, this is from 1997.

Beaches, Biotech And Bill Now That Gates Is Married, An Annual Weekend Away With An Old Flame Just Doesn’t Compute
Sun., March 9, 1997

Celia Rivenbark Wilmington (N.C.) Morning Star
OK, let’s see if I’ve got this straight. “Time” magazine reports in a recent profile of mega-billionaire Bill Gates that, as part of an agreement with his wife, he gets to spend one weekend a year with an old girlfriend at her beach house. Just the two of them. All alone. All weekend.

Gates says it’s perfectly innocent, that the two of them spend all their time “walking on the beach, playing miniature golf and discussing biotechnology.”

This is, as they say, good work if you can get it.

If I saw my husband headed for the airport to visit one of his leggy ex-girlfriends for the weekend, I’d be forced to violate the annual beach trek agreement and go upside his head.

If he even dared to propose such a weekend getaway, the conversation at our house would go something like this:

“Hon, I’ve been feeling stressed at work and I could really use a breather. I’d like to go visit my ex-girlfriend at her beach house for a couple of days, just the two of us, so I can unwind a bit, you know, just be myself. Maybe talk about old times, play a little Uno. Whoa. Put that down. Where’d you get that? Is it loaded? … Ahhhhhhhh!!!!”

Some of you may think I’m overreacting, that in a loving, committed relationship, both partners should be able to trust one another completely.

Of course, some of you may think you’ve seen the Shroud of Turin in your spaghetti sauce.

And what’s this hogwash about discussing biotechnology on long beach walks? I don’t care how rich and brilliant he is, Bill Gates isn’t flying across the country to spend a weekend with an attractive woman, one he used to have a romantic relationship with, to talk about genetic engineering.

Oh, sure, the two of them may try to keep things on the up and up, but, sooner or later, that beach-walk conversation will slide into …

Bill: “You know, I’m working on a new computer program that will synthesize the protein from the bladder of a newt and transform it into a monoclonal antibody that will lead to the end of all diseases known to modern man.”

Ex-girlfriend: “That’s swell, Billy. Now let’s get my cabana boy to fetch us a couple of those drinks you can set on fire and how’s about you give me all your hot monkey love?”

The whole tawdry arrangement is reminiscent of Prince Charles phoning Camilla Parker Bowles while he was honeymooning with Di just to chat and defended it by saying that Camilla was his bestest friend.

We all know how that turned out.

One minute he’s being all haughty (and Chuck, like so many Brits, seems to stay on a kind of permanent haught, doesn’t he?), insisting that it’s all perfectly innocent and what’s wrong with a man having a female friend after all. Next minute we’ve got tabloids gleefully releasing telephone tapes in which Chuck’s saying things to Camilla that would make Larry Flynt blush.

Now there’s nothing wrong with visiting old and dear friends, as long as your spouse gets to go along.

I think Melinda Gates should pack up the baby and say, “A beach weekend? Terrific idea, Bill! We’ll join you!" If Bill grumbles and pouts and whines that she and the baby will destroy his concentration and he’ll never win that waffle cone for a hole-in-one on the 18th, we’ll know he’s up to no good, now won’t we? Of course we will.

It frightened a lot of people. If Bill Gates is who I think he is, human beings are just data points to him. I do not denigrate the people that are fearful of the vaccine which is, after all, experimental and we do not know of any long-term consequences. I don't *think* there will be any but I'm not an expert, and I'm not urging people to get it. Everybody has to flip a coin, so to speak, and take their chances.

@Jdubya,
My friend said the rumor she and her husband heard at work didn't specify the particular what/why. However, they are surmising it is Epstein related, per other local talk. Although the trips/investments he and Fauci made to a Wuhan lab company in mid 2019 (?) have been raising huge whispers for a long time in science community as well, apparently, and a Swiss pal in biotech keeps saying that's the big story to watch for. My friend's husband is worried about the V because of the PEG component, but she is just mad she can't sue BG if it makes her or her parents sick! She was thinking "well, I'll do my part for mankind and take part in this testing phase, but damn I want a billion if my hair falls out!"

For every science reason BG can wave high now, I can find you three scientists and practicing doctors (even very pro-vac scientists & docs) who are saying wait, wait, the evidence isn't in, nice idea, but, the timing and testing is bad. That is how science actually works. Research done and papers written and debated on many sides of any topic. Attend EU scientific seminars, as I did, and you'd see what I mean -- Guy One convinces me, Guy Two shreds him apart, Lady One flips the both upside down.

Like others, I was thinking "Great, vaccines! Whew! Let's do this!" Then things got so beligerant and hate-filled, with testing info buried and you're bad if you wonder about it. People research vitamins for days. But, not this? I feel like we slid from shock about a grim pandemic, into.... fetishizing vaccines like they are the new ecstasy. When was the last AspirinLive celeb event?

Well, at least if it is true he (BG) is heavily invested in Pharma and vaccines, then hey, he is getting richer by the second, and the LiveVax thing is like a big advertisement for his investments, so he will get even richer --- and maybe MM will actually fling the bump aside and go hunt him down in her oat-lined mini and size 12 suede stillettos, the way she hunted down Harry! Maybe Markus is already planted up there, ready to go! That would be hilarious to watch because you know she would be firing up SS to drop the hints all over the place. Come on, Fate, make it happen! "Baby Diana is really Bill's Baby!" the Enquirer could shout! She won't bother to research the pending lawsuits so, we could watch the drama!
@AnT, that article was hilarious! I was laughing so hard at the hot monkey love bit. That was brilliant.

So what y'all are saying is to stay tuned? I wonder if BG got a little too big for his britches and he pissed someone off. Maybe Melinda got tired of babysitting him and wants the second half her life to be with someone a little less high maintenance and more relatable. Great tea, lots of food for thought.

MM must not have been at the gig last night because her Spidey Senses were tinging. He's the perfect target for her in so many ways.

@Girl with a Hat,

My Swiss scientist friend has been saying (as I mentioned above) for a year that allegedly BG made a 2019 visit to the lab in question, and Dr F in his vested role allegedly gave them half a million US dollars for research. Their hands are, allegedly, not clean and science circles related to their area of interest were fairly open about this Gates-Wuhan lab work, until things went horribly wrong. I definitely think European press will find the alleged story first, because it is in their interests: a case can be made that by not admitting what he knew when it broke loose, BG contributed to the human devastation. And then, these various countries/governments (UK as well) could perhaps sue BG for the economic losses they incurred.

Also, G Maxwell’s talking, rumor has it. Her sister is heavily involved with information technology used by the 3 letter agencies and pharma, genetics, and biotech. Perhaps via her sister, GMaxwell knows about more than Epstein, and is shedding BG knowledge as well?

@AnT, yes, GoF research was shelved here in the US several years ago, so money was funneled to the Wuhan lab via NIAID/NIH to do GoF there instead. There is an article in Newsweek from a year ago about it. It has all stunk to high heaven. (I'm a research immunologist)

Back to MM and H, I wonder what is going to happen with that statue unveiling. The date is coming quickly.

According to a gushing article in Variety about the concert,

@AnT,

I used to go to the same hairdresser in Kirkland, WA that Bill Gates did when he had made his first billion. The salon owner did my hair, and she told me that she would have to call Bill's office and tell his secretary to remind Bill to wash his hair at least once a week.

Was the pizza place Pagliacci's?

Bill lives in Bellevue, WA, over a floating bridge (Lake Washington) from Seattle. My husband and I lived just up the hill from him. Bill often drives around in an old Honda, and is seen all over the Seattle /Bellevue area when he's in town. He doesn't hide, and he stands in line for burgers, pizza or groceries just like everybody else with no body guard (take that, Harry's wife).

Bill has a family beach place that most people don't know about (and I'm not going to give away the location). The only reason I know about it is that my parents had a beach house almost next door to it. I wonder if that's where he takes his girlfriend? It's quite secluded, and you can only see it from the water because it's behind huge gates. We'd sail by it from time to time.

You are close but what Fauci did was to send a few millions in US taxpayer's dollars to the Wuhan virology lab to study and improve "gain of function". After Obama banned such research in America. If you do not know what "gain of function" is then you are behind the curve.

WUHAN evil research the US paid for

Yes, GoF research was shelved here in the US several years ago, so money was funneled to the Wuhan lab via NIAID/NIH to do GoF there instead. There is an article in Newsweek from a year ago about it. It has all stunk to high heaven. (I'm a research immunologist)

Right! Keywords being gain of function (GoF) Banned in USA in 2014 so Anthony Fauci sends a few million to bat lady etc in Wuhan Lab to continue this research. Gain of function means improving the infectiousness of XXX virus. Lethality too.

I enjoyed this comment on Twitter about the Gates' marriage ending:

Are they ending their marriage or just marriage in general? We have given Bill a lot of authority in the past 12 months so who knows what he’s an expert in now.

Apologies to Pearl Jam fans!sorry for my spreading of misinformation. I don't follow them so had no idea they weren't broken up, despite "State of Love and Trust" being in top5 of my favorite songs ever!

It is ironic though to see pics from covid relief concert and no masks, wth?

Funny reading haircare stories. My sister was 'blessed' with kinky unruly hair and from adolescence to adulthood slept with winter hat to try to keep locks smooth and flat. Lol thanks for memory

I know OT but enjoying BG stories. Refreshing to see healthy skepticism regarding his interest in covid vaccine. So much creepy information regarding him, if you look. Rather amazing too this vaccine was produced so quickly (most take 5-10+ years.) I believe Ted talk he had was regarding his quest for population control, among other things.
He is also psychic?

I also started following this girl's channel Deeper Than Hair (link below) because she has a really soothing voice and explains things nicely and then when you see her she's really pretty and cute too, she is an American who mostly treats black hair but also other curly types (mixed race, etc) and she's a wizard.

I'm also astonished by the transformations because I was ignorant about what is possible for some of these ladies. Also she combed out and rescued a woman's (horribly napped) hair who had neglected it over months. She gave that woman new life.

I watched that video a few days ago! It is crazy how difficult it is for women to do their hair by themselves, too. It is a *very* good thing, with my short temper, that I have white hair. Otherwise, I'd have an *extremely* short haircut. Oh, wait, I already do (grin).

BACK ON TOPIC:

@snarkyatherbest,

Can't you just see MM, alone at last while Harry runs out to get the thrills of being a little celebrity. She'll be on the white sofa, hunched over her phone, stabbing in the number Oprah gave her. When Bill Gates answers, she'll be breathy and coy and loud in her extreme excitement. "Hi, it's me, the Duchess of Sussssssssex, Oprah and Michelle insisted I call as I'm enlisting corporate people to work on my worldwide vaccine drive -- oh, you KNOW about the vaccines? Oh that's amazing! You're already bringing the light to so many, then -- I mean I am all about culling the human peasant herd, too, so we tops can enjoy our oats in peace, like, I have already totally culled two whole families myself with just a couple of people to go, so I totally can tell you how to do it and like, guide your next endeavor --- well, we must have dinner, how about tonight, fly down, I have a few hours, and my own wing, we can talk about merging our Foundations! I think I read yours is worth like ten billion, but mine is already about five hundred dollars and we have a bunch of checks coming, so we should combine them like you mentioned back on that yacht! You don't remember me? We met on a really big yacht? What? Heavily pregnant? Oh - oh - no, no, that's just something my uh security team -- yes, security team, well teams really! you know how it is when the whole world follows your every move as a leader -- so my teams thought -- but never mind, it's not even real, like, my husband isn't real either, it's all just to keep me safe as a future President, so my teams thought a Prince would scare people you know, swords -- but so come down here and we can have chicken tacos and talk about culling people and vaccine diversity! I can even cull a queen if you want! Are you sure you don't remember me? Really? The girl in the white hat on the boat in Paul Allen's lap? Really? Well, actually my colleague Markus is in your driveway right now with the photos and a video --- so, you might want to get your arse down here, now!"

On another note from the Sun -- is someone taunting them to bring "Archie" out into the public eye?

PRINCE HARRY ‘WOULD BE A HIT AT MOMMY AND ME MEDITATION SESSIONS

The Duke of Sussex would be a “big hit” at popular LA baby classes favoured by Brits, reckons an expat.

OK! ex-editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens writes in the Daily Mail: “Baby classes are more exciting in LA, [including] at The Cow’s End Cafe, near the beach, always filled with yogi mamas like Meghan who headed upstairs for ‘mommy and me’ meditation sessions.

“Harry would be a big hit with the worn-down Brit mums who gather there looking for a lift during those first few months with a new baby.

“So long as Harry and Meghan have a group of Brits to laugh and cry with, it’ll be the perfect place for Archie to become a big brother.”

Two good lines for our eternal Z lister. But where is #6? Out feeding their chicks? On worldwide TV? This just might be.
Ten Green Bottles put me in mind of Little Brown Jug:

Me and my wife live all alone
In a little log hut we're all our own
She loves gin and I love rum,
And don't we have a lot of fun!

Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little brown jug, don't I love thee!
Ha, ha, ha, you and me,
Little brown jug, don't I love thee!
When I go toiling on the farm
I take the little jug under my arm

Place it under a shady tree,
Little brown jug, 'tis you and me.
'Tis you that makes me friends and foes,
'Tis you that makes me wear old clothes
But, seeing you're so near my nose,
Tip her up and down she goes.

If all the folks in Adam's race
Were gathered together in one place,
Then I'd prepare to shed a tear
(I'd let them go without a tear)
Before I'd part from you, my dear.

If I'd a cow that gave such milk,
I'd dress her in the finest silk;
Feed her up on oats and hay,
And milk her twenty times a day.

I bought a cow from Farmer Jones,
And she was nothing but skin and bones
I fed her up as fine as silk,
She jumped the fence and strained her milk.

And when I die don't bury me at all,
Just pickle my bones in alcohol
I'ut a bottle o' booze at my head and feet
And then I know that I will keep.

The rose is red, my nose is too,
The violets blue and so are you
And yet, I guess, before I stop,
We'd better take another drop.

The irony is that neither the singer nor his wife are aware of their precarious position brought about about by their addiction.

...the Queen's grandson left pregnant Meghan at home to attend the "Concert to Reunite the World"...

No use of Harry's name, and she is not referred to as "his wife"--she's called by name with the adjective blatantly clear.

To me, this is the surest sign yet of trouble in paradise... We all know this stuff is leaked straight from the source...

Thanks to those who shared stories on the "clapping" and "standing O" set up at the Vax live concert. I knew when I saw the snippet that it had to be a set up. Nobody here, except the miniscule woke crowd, cares about these two over saturated jokers. The only reason their names were attached to this project is because they pay professionals like Sunshine Sach to open doors for them. This will be seen here for the obvious power grab on the way to an upcoming failed bid at political office. Only the Delusional Duchess and her cotillion of fake friends would believe she has even a snowball's chance of winning a seat in Congress, never mind the top brass ring. This whole fake moment brought to you by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be another example of the limits of money and pr and access. They tried to make a big deal over Miley Cyruses' tailgate superbowl party right before the superbowl for the front line workers. Sadly it didn't catapult Miley's musical career as I'm sure she hoped it would. I thought Midnight Sky was a terrific, if retro, album. I guess pop music really is dead and not just the Grammys. And, love her or just find her annoying, Miley Cyrus has way more talent then Meghan Markle. At least Miley can sing and she is, or at least has been, A list pop star. Meghan never made the A list Hollywood and she and her husband are going to learn the hard way that "their way" (Carlito's Way) is the long way thru strip malls on the slow ride to oblivion.

Of course William is done with Harry and his wife. He's just allowing "royal sources" to let us know he's done and thinks, quite rightly, that Harry's wife is the lowest form of pond life. She's vile alright. Funny she had to pass on the PR of the Vax Live Concert. Between that and missing The Funeral, it's been Mariah Carey bleak for our Narcissist in Chief.

By chance, yesterday, I watched an infomercial aimed at the BAME community, who I am informed are reticent, promoting the vaccine involving a number of celebs some of whom I recognised and some I didn't. One I failed to recognise was the Duchess of Cambridge who (I assume it was her) was referred to jokingly as 'Your Majesty'.

I really do not think the RF should be used by the govt to promote the vaxx and I take a dim view of the Duchess doing so. Harry has the excuse that he is an idiot.

I am as reticent as the BAMEs and principally on the basis of the government's own words contained in the brochure sent to me by Health England.

I went pearl diving in the Sun.

Here you go!

MEGHAN Markle completely misread her royal status and felt "shunted off" by not living in Kensington Palace, it has been claimed

The Duchess of Sussex was "drawn in" by the fantasy of royal life after marrying Prince Harry - but was completely unready for the significantly less glam reality, author Tom Quinn told the Pod Save the Queen podcast.

She reportedly felt "disappointed" at having to live in a "little" Frogmore Cottage rather than the considerably grander Kensington Palace where Prince William and Kate Middleton are raising their children.

But it was actually Nottingham Cottage, Harry and Meghan's first UK home, which sits inside the grounds of Kensington Palace, that first hammered home the reality of Meghan as a second-tier royal, Quinn claimed.

"I think that actually, she wasn’t too keen on that," he said.

"It seemed like they were being shunted off to a little prefab in the grounds," Quinn added.

.........

PRINCE HARRY IS A 'US SEX SYMBOL'

Royal fans have declared Prince Harry as a sex symbol in the US, where he now lives with wife Meghan and son Archie.

One Twitter user said after his speech at the VAX Live concert that he looks "amazing" after his "California glow up".

Another said: "Prince Harry walked out on that stage like he was doing a strut for Paris Fashion Week."

And one person posted: "Love his 'podcast voice.' That's code for 'sexy voice' btw."

One more new fresh pearl from the Sun:

MEGHAN 'SPENDING $400K ON NURSERY FOR NEW BABY'

Pregnant Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be spending as much as $400,000 on a nursery for her new baby, it is claimed.

The duke has reportedly taken the lead on the build as he has "an artistic streak", according to one insider.

A source told Star: "High-tech safety devices don’t come cheap and of course everything is designer."

Although Gossip Cop has debunked the wider story about Meghan expecting twins, so it could all be false rumours.

"Gain-of-function" is the euphemism for biological research aimed at increasing the virulence and lethality of pathogens and viruses. GoF research is government funded; its focus is on enhancing the pathogens' ability to infect different species and to increase their deadly impact as airborne pathogens and viruses.

https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Gain+of+function
mutation [mu-ta´shun] 1. a permanent transmissible change in the genetic material. 2. an individual exhibiting such a change. point mutation a mutation resulting from a change in a single base pair in the DNA molecule. somatic mutation a genetic mutation occurring in a somatic cell, providing the basis for mosaicism. suppressor mutation the correction

Yes, i had to google the term. But the rumor of this virus affecting the DNA structure has been around for a while. But it's all a conspiracy theory, right? hmmm

Finding Freedom book's new chapters will blow any chance of reconciliation between Prince Harry and his family if 'intimate details' of conversations at Prince Phillip's funeral appear, royal expert claims
• An updated version of Sussexes' biography is set to be released this summer
• First edition was published on August 11 last year and painted a flattering picture
• Duncan Larcombe warns new chapters could be 'final straw' for Royal Family

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-9540571/Finding-Freedoms-new-chapters-final-straw-Prince-Harry-royals-says-royal-expert.html

from the article:

Finding Freedom's new chapters will be 'extremely telling' about the state of the royal rift between Prince Harry and his family and could blow any chance of a reconciliation, a royal expert has claimed.

An updated version of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's biography by authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand is set to be released this summer. The first edition was published on August 11 last year and painted a flattering picture of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from when they met in 2016 to their departure from the Firm in early 2020.

According to The Sunday Times, it is now being updated with new chapters which will cover their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the allegations that Meghan, 39, bullied royal staff - which she denies - and the death of Prince Philip.

Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, warned there will be 'no chance' of a reconciliation if the book divulges more negative information about the royals or in-depth details of any personal conversations between Harry and his family after the funeral.

'That really will be the final straw,' he told Closer magazine. 'That'll be it - there will be no chance of a reconciliation ever and all trust will be broken.

'How could anyone from the Royal Family trust them again if the intimate details of conversations were leaked. Why would they want anything more to do with them? Those chapters will be extremely telling as to the state of the royal rift as it stands now, and to where it'll head in the future.'

The updated Finding Freedom, which is also expected to discuss their multi-million pound deals with Netflix and Spotify, their new life in California and the Queen's decision to strip them of their royal patronages including Harry's military roles, will go on sale on August 5.

'The Oprah interview detonated a bomb under the Royal Family and most of them are still reeling in shock. The book will not help,' a senior courtier told The Sunday Times.

Another senior royal source added: 'After Oprah, what else is there to say?'

While he admitted it 'makes sense' for there to be more chapters to address unanswered questions about the Oprah interview, what was said to Gayle King and what was said in the wake of the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, Duncan added that he hopes the recent rebuilding of bridges will have deterred the Sussexes from worsening the rift.

'Whatever's said will be a bombshell - everyone is just so gripped by the situation,' he told Closer.

(it continues, but that is the meat. Link above). ##

@Judbya,

is it just me, or do you have a sense that Harry would lovvvvvvvvvve a career as a Hollywood actor? Action movies, police tv dramas? A fitness tv show on Discovery? I honestly think he fancies himself a little star.

Prancing around on a stage saying words written for him was his Invictus Games thrill, and here it is again. Remember, he had that little quick speaking role as a turn-of-the-century gardener in some sports tv ad as well. And he and William got to dress up as Storm Troopers and actually film a small scene for a Star Wars movie installment.

Did all this tickle his fame appetite? [Rumor had it he really wanted to marry a celebrity (actress or singer) for years, too. Which is why I think Chelsy, in the end, didn't have a chance, not that I think she minded walking away to safety.]

Without the written words, without a script, he is just another useless peevish bore, as we saw on the Corden bus ride.

But I can see him trying to weasel-charm his way into particular roles now that he's squatting in LA. I see him getting an agent and trying hard to trade on British thing ("listen to my accent! and I can ride a horse, people say I am sexy and funny, and I drive fast, and boy, I can punch people too!"). Do-gooding with these fake charity and mental health stunts will bore him soon.

And if he made a go of it, I think Heavily Pregnant MM would lose whatever is left of her shredded cheese mind in screaming envy.

A Quiet Interlude

Not much appears to be going on. Or tax season is about to begin in the US.  The IRS just never goes away.  Nor do bills (utility, cable, mortgage, food, cars, security, landscape people, cleaning people, koi person and so on).  There's always another one.  Elsewhere others just continue to glide forward without a real hint of being disrupted by some news out of California.   That would be the new King and Queen or the Prince/Princess of Wales.   Yes there are health risks which seemed to come out of nowhere.  But.  The difference is that these people are calmly living their lives with minimal drama.

I started thinking about how time passes when reading some of the articles about the birthday.  It was interesting to think about it from the different points of view.  Besides, it kind of fits as a follow up the last post (the whole saga of can the two brothers reunite). So there is the requisite article about how he will be getting all kinds of money willed to him from his great-grandmother.  There were stories about Princess Anne as trustee (and not allowing earliest access to it all).  Whether or not any or all of this is true (there was money for him and/or other kids) has been debated with claims she actually died owing money with the Queen paying the debts to avoid scandal.  Don't know but I seem to remember that royal estates are shrouded from the public so we may not (ever) know. However, strange things like assisting in a book after repeated denials have popped up in legal papers so nothing is ever really predicable.   We are also seein...

The Opening Act of New Adventures in Retail

I keep thinking things will settle down to the lazy days of spring where the weather is gorgeous and there is a certain sense of peacefulness.  New flowers are coming out. increasing daylight so people can be outside/play and thinking gardening thoughts.  And life is quiet.  Calm. And then something happens like a comet shooting across the sky.  (Out of nowhere it arrives and then leaves almost as quickly.)   An update to a law suit.  Video of the website is released (but doesn't actually promote any specific product which can be purchased from the website).  A delay and then jam is given out (but to whom and possible more importantly - who did not make the list?).  Trophies almost fall (oops).  Information slips out like when the official date of beginning USA residency.  (now, isn't that interesting?) With them, it's always something in play or simmering just below the surface.  The diversity of the endeavors is really ...
