It was about the length of a cup of tea (more or less) but what do you think really happened?
I am expecting lots and lots of ink about how the two have reconciled, suddenly all is well between the two and expect unicorns in the garden with elves throwing glitter in the air level of happy walk into the sunset.
Full reconciliation? Are you mad?
Have you looked at the definition lately? It's about settling a disagreement, making someone accept something unpleasant or restoring friendly relations. And, in that short a time period? get real.
It is about enough time to ask how you like your tea now adays, ask about your health (times two for both sides), make some polite conversation about weather, show a couple of photos of the kids and sip the tea.
Probably stilted conversation with prearranged topics as well as ones which would be banned like security. Or a complete return to the UK (with support from the King). Also minders present before, during and after. Stilted and very un-intimate. More like talking with an acquaintance you see at the annual company Holiday party every December.
It could be the start of something in terms of two being able to have closer contact. Slowly. Controlled. Or not.
It's hard. The King is between a rock and a hard place. He loves his son. The son he used to know and tried to help through the years. That help was not appreciated by the son who also has said (and written) some painful things about his father and the others in the family. Very publicly which makes the working on how to attempt to reconcile ever so more difficult.
The son he used to know is gone.
What do you think they talked about?

Hairy came out in tears from his alleged meeting with Charles.
I think it's because he was told off by his father.
Who agrees with me?
LIZ JONES: Harry is doing everything right and I am overjoyed at his long-awaited reunion with Charles - now mean William needs to get off his high horse

He certainly didn't look a happy bunny , did he? Oh, to have been a fly on the wall!
Monarch gave the cold shoulder to son during frosty 25-minute meeting with no special treatment, as Lady Colin Campbell reveals the shocking details that the MSM won't
That's all people like me who don't have a subscription to Dan Wooton's substack can read, so I won't bother giving you the link.
Good grief - he's now posing as a saviour for Ukraine...
One: Fear of their genetics being investigated and the truth being revealed
Two: Perhaps they could be taken away from him & *, even under the usual law applied to ordinary unfit parents, without invoking the 18thC rule about the monarch having custody of grandchildren.
This is what I call `talent' and `bringing joy' - flash mob in Paris square, followed unexpected performances in a Parisian restaurant:

I've watched it twice and different restaurant events have followed!
Enjoy!
It is his first visit to Kyiv, which was hit by Russian cruise missiles just two days ago on the same night numerous attack drones from Russia violated Polish airspace and were shot down.
'I had to check with my wife and the British government to make sure it was OK', he admitted today.

Harry has now made a surprise visit to Kyiv to support Ukrainians with life-changing injuries caused by the war. You'll be pleased to know that he had, as well as the permission of the British government, wifey's permission. Not sure what she has to do with it.
'“I had to check with my wife and the British government to make sure it was OK. Then the official invitation came,” he said as he made his way into the capital on an overnight train through Poland.' I'm not sure he's supported British veterans that much.

This is Harry's *second* visit to Kyiv, if you don't mind!! Amazing he can waltz off to Kyiv but finds it unsafe to be in the UK. And you'll notice that he mentions checking with wifey first, before the British government!
Presumably he was searched by for hidden devices, whether that included a `rubber glove' cavity search isn't known.
(BTW I'm still seething about the search to which I was subjected when about to fly home a couple of days ago. I'm a little old lady with an implanted medical device subject to interference from old-style metal detectors. My hospital card was ignored and Security made a real meal of it, compared with the quick pat-down I get leaving France. I should be thankful that they didn't check my cavities, but it was still humiliating.
Anyway, River reports that H went to the loo both before and after the `tea' and finally, he heard secondhand that HM was overheard muttering later that H `didn't get it' and wasn't listening.
`For a moment the cheery mask slipped, the game face had gone. Instead he had the grim expression of a man who had just been refused a mortgage. Again.'

Or, as Mr WildBoar put it with a Scotticism, `He's got a face like a skelped arse'.
The loo before and after? Could it be to do with nerves? It's well known that anxiety and being very nervous can cause one to go to the loo (affecting both bladder and bowel). I'd say that could well be it was (if true), in which case we must ask why he was bricking it. Intense fear, apprehension, anxiety - so possibly that was a no from Charles (meaning later a bollocking from wifey).
@GIRL
You're right, it's Harry's second time in Ukraine, not Kyiv
His face when leaving the meeting with his father said it all. A crushing reality was written all over it.
The famous payback time.
Needed to do coke twice,
`Shredded bladder' thanks to ketamine
According to River, he drank coffee - I suppose that could have run straight through him, if his stomach had little food in it.
@Alianor: I gather that State dinners are regarded as `diplomatic occasions', almost like `summit' meetings and royals have to report back at debriefing sessions about their conversations with foreign dignitaries.
Has any valuable intelligence been acquired, perhaps. Has any guest been politically indiscreet? One has to have demonstrated one's reliability, tact and diplomacy, as well as being a temperate consumer of alcohol and not likely to give offence to visitors. Hence Harry is not suitable!
