 Well that time is coming up for the Daytime Emmy Awards.  October 30th.   I don't know but I suspect there is a lot pinned on this for her and I suppose him too (in support of her dreams).   Perhaps the dream is it would lead back to work in Hollywood, Netflix and more producer work.  It would be away from the UK and more in the direction of California.  Maybe?   Or she wins but they are not interested as what has come through is not compelling enough for someone to hire her.  It appears that Hollywood seems to look at the most recent finished piece but they are known to take into account the person's past history when they think they might have difficulty getting the person covered by insurance.  Could be? Or she loses.  And, then what?

Eh I don't know.  I just don't exactly think that is the kind of thing, those words, Charles would say to his ex brother in law at any time.   Think of the timing of that.   He had been getting along with her.  Her brother, not so much. The calls about what was happening with the kids previously - I think it was that someone was insisting they bring the kids to the Palace to display them or make them see the flower displays and Philip said they would not (the kids were dealing with their feelings - I seem to remember that they were not certain exactly where William was as he was up in the hills somewhere).  The family was circling the wagons about protecting the kids from what they saw/felt could create long term problems.  I suspect they had numerous discussions just in that time period of how to help care for the kids in addition to all the funeral planning.   He's just come back from joining his ex sisters in law to bring back the bod...

 I don't know if I really buy the idea of her trying this or that to be Diana 2.0.  There are some big holes of not following the script .  And, the alternative doesn't come off as: but I did this better alternative because I could. Like the showing off the babies on the steps of the hospital.   Why miss that chance to be linked with Diana?  because Catherine did it first?  Doubtful. It's weird, no?  A deliberate choice not to recreate that classic pictures around the world?  It would have immortalized her look as being part of the Family and pulled out periodically when the kids were mentioned in print.  Especially after how they left soon thereafter when there were not as many photos of her as part of the family.   The walk through the Palace (in a white dress right after birth) isn't even close to being similar or a one up.  When they are asked to show the baby, it is as if they turn the baby away from the camera.  Well that was a shock.  Out of nowhere.  Whiplash I tell you. What I wonder about: Selling/get out from underneath the big house in Montecito.  Living that life there was costing them dearly, koi specialists aside.  Traditionally the seller pays the realtors although with the new rules out that may or may not apply.  But ... off loading this particular house may be difficult and the seller may need to add things to sweeten the sale.  That may come out as a negative on the balance sheet. Hmm, I thought she hated the UK and never wanted to return, especially after not getting things she wanted from the last visit, although he could do what he wanted.  What triggered this 180?  It must have been really big. Think about all the money they have spent to invest in the states. The house.  The vacations.  The clothing.  And, the security.  Then, there is all the spread, wine and book marks - the set up and what remains unsold....

 I've been playing a lot of chess lately.  A real thinking of what if, then this or what about that?  Always thinking about where to be in future moves.  And, what will the other side do in response. One of the problems with taking away all the titles is that now she is reduced to being (merely) Princess Harold from what little I understand about title protocol.  (and how long do you think before Princess Meghan, like Princess Diana, would take to emerge and no guesses as to who would drive it?) But ... what if ... only the Sussex and Kilkeel titles were taken away?  Allow them to keep Dumbarton.  Title pretty much says it all.  The sarcastic side of me says that maybe in another 10 years they will allow a real face shot. But let's think about this.  So I was reading the DM article talking about how * has friends.  Important friends.  Powerful friends.  And,  they  have friends layered below them.  What does that mean to us today?   So it is an interesting article filled with unnamed sources.  That's nothing new.  We see this quite often in the oh how wonderful the Sussex family members are.   Make no mistake - these are very powerful women.   Oprah - she has been there for a long time since the wedding and the interview.  According to the article (and even that seems to hedge by saying something about "I'm told" that Oprah was the push for the Kardashian party.).  So Oprah still seems to be around even though we don't see photos of them together. Sentebale is suing  Harry. Exact details are not out there (yet) but we do know they were having severe money difficulties. What we also don't know (yet) how closely Invictus will be following this.  Maybe this will allow them to get out from underneath him (and her) as he is too compromised?

 And we have yet another person making the rounds about how she ought to come back to acting, yada, yada, family would likely support this and so on (claims of how good she is). This time it is Eric Roberts who worked beside her (no idea if he was invited to the wedding or not).  Last month or maybe it was the month before there was some other article about being in some movie thing with lots of others.  Her part was for a day or two as I recall. Before that it was in a clip for Clevr Brands.  Don't know if you can count the various Netflix shows or not.   When I think of where she lives, it's not near the centers of where things are really happening in acting world.  That would make it hard to get back into that kind of circulation.  Montecito reminds me of Frogmore.  Each was out there and far from a lot of other action, nightlife, edgy events.  But what do I know?  I don't live near either and have no real direct knowledge. ...

 I've been thinking long and hard about the upcoming trip Down Under.  I don't think it will likely go as planned.   Last time it was all about how they out did everyone - even his father and mother in that place.  The numbers were off the charts (not really - compare to the Pope and so on).  This is where the idea that they could outshine the Family and so the Family was in fear of their power, awe and draw seems to have originated. Back then, they were the new, shiny and she's pregnant.  Now, things have changed.  Life has moved on. They would no longer be there on a British Royal Tour.  William and Catherine, would be.  Big difference.   I think a couple things.    One is that the numbers of people out to look/greet them will be much lower all the way around for the Duo.  Not official so less flashy, probably not likely to do as well as last time when they were unknown AND not as great as for William and Cathe...

 Andrew has been arrested and the police are looking about.  Not certain what could still be around but it is what it is. What I wonder about is how this could open up the flood gates to how to handle the California bunch. Thoughts?

 I read somewhere an observation of parallels of Harry and his mother - of how they both appeared to become bored after they no longer had their official duties.  And how they seemed adrift as to what to do next  with themself . I started thinking then of how Diana (probably) had certain expectations of what love, marriage would be (maybe he loves me, only me and not her, happy ever after and who knows but perhaps that marriage is all sweetness, light, happy and joy like in a romance novel) ... which leads to expectations of what marriage might have been for Harry's wife.  Or even Harry. Oh boy.  I don't recall marriage comments but do remember how he talked and wrote about how he wanted for his kids to be able to grow up with their cousins, second cousins in what sounds like how he grew up playing with family, doing the annual this and that with family (minus his parents not getting along).  A vestige of his childhood he wanted to repeat, pass on as import...

 Loud noise about how Harry "won" a review of his protection status - although the article (DM so far) was that it may/was initiated by the Home Office.   Maybe?  Maybe not. One of the comments was that actually it was part of a periodic review to see if the safety status has changed.  It's been, what, five years? That would be logical.  Status can change and therefore their interpretation of safe/not safe would need to be adjusted.  Timing is good. The comments are running heavily in the No, don't give him an upgrade.  Hot and heavy there.  But ... sometimes I like to read the opposite comments to see how they phrase/look at the world.  And, how their supportive numbers are running.  Only a fraction supportive when you compare to don't give in group.  Vocal?  yes.  Massive?  no.

Think back through the history of antagonism towards the media - Harry with his past (photos, comments) and then bringing her in (where it was more she controlled output + good for her plans of expansion) to now the situation where she no longer could.  Full stop.  And, not a whiff of apology for the most part.   Notice that it follows other stories of how the BBC have been rather coming face to face about past less savory actions to get what they wanted (lies to Diana and so on).   I think we are seeing a shift in how reporting will hand...

 Talk going around that the next direction for her business might be into make up.  This may be part of the discussion(s) with Kris Jenner since make up as a concept is part of the overall Kardashian business plan.  It did give Kylie $1.2 Billion when it sold 51% to Coty.  Kim sold part of her SKKN (20% for $200 Million) to Coty as well.  As of June neither was known to be happy about how they felt the direction each brand was being managed.   Make up can be very lucrative.  Quite.  Forbes has an article of just how lucrative it has been for some people.  People like Hailey Bieber (Rhode to elf for up to $1 billion but the deal has other founders and is said to be stretched over years).  I also saw a list (Forbes) almost 30 people who are either billionaires or mega millionaires through make up.  Some inherited the business (think the various Lauders).  But is that a realistic (meaning good) idea, now?
