A brief snapshot: Katy Perry, in a sequined floor-length mermaid gown with a cape made from the American flag, in Iowa to support Hillary Clinton in 2015.
Perry looked more than a little out of place performing outdoors in the daytime, surrounded by modestly-dressed civilians in the mostly agricultural state.
Trump ended up winning Iowa 51.2% to 41.7%; Hillary's performance was the worst by a Democrat in the state since 1980.
Katy's glamorous presence was apparently not a plus.
A different approach
Another brief snapshot: George Clooney, then at the peak of his career, meets with Barack Obama in 2008 just as the future president's campaign was beginning to catch fire.
"I told him I'd do whatever it takes to get him elected," Clooney told the press, "including staying the hell away from him if that was what he needed."
George was apparently smarter than Katy, and Obama won his election easily.
Joe and Kamala and Meghan and Harry
Let's return to the present, when Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has make her electoral preferences clear.
Her recent low-resolution video, apparently made on an iPhone 3, urged women to vote for "the change we all need and deserve" was seen as a tacit endorsement of Joe Biden and his vice-presidential nominee, Kamala Harris.
Meghan went suggest that those who didn't vote to do so were "part of the problem. If you're complacent, you're complicit."
(Opponents of President Donald Trump frequently use the word "complicit" for anyone who works with Trump, suggesting that they are "complicit" in his misdeeds.)
But does Meghan really have the ability to move any votes?
Meg the persuader
One of the most important things you learn when you study communications and journalism is that it's not about what you say - it's about the effect your words have on the viewer, listener, or reader.
If that individual is, say, an Iowa farmer wondering why a woman in a sequined dress and a flag cape is performing in a parking lot on a Sunday afternoon at a time most people would rather be watching football, the effect may be negative on her chosen candidate.
And Katy Perry is, at least, generally well-liked.
Compare her case to Meghan, a runaway member of the British royal family, unemployed and couchsurfing, but strangely able to buy a luxury mansion from a mysterious Russian oligarch.
A woman with an increasingly odd head of hair, a meek and cowering husband, and a very small fan club.
Is Meghan really the type of person whom Americans identify with, someone who can convince them to vote and vote as she suggests?
Or will she have a negative effect on her chosen candidate?
Biden has other, better celebrities on his side
The Biden-Harris team already has the endorsement of much more popular celebrities.
Taylor Swift, Lebron James, and John Legend have shared their support for the Democratic candidate. So have Billie Eilish and Steph and Ayesha Curry.
Cardi B, one of the hottest celebrities around whatever you think of her, even did
an interview with Biden last week - if you can call it an interview, since Cardi does all the talking.
The last thing Biden really needs is another celebrity endorsement - in fact, so many celebrity endorsements run the risk of making him look like the candidate of the glitterati as opposed to the common man, common woman, or common non-binary individual.
The person who really benefits
If anyone benefits from Meg's political activism, it is her own brand, or what she hopes to make into her own brand - woke celebrity ex-Royal.
A (bejeweled) hand extended to help women, minorities, and dogs, at least until the dogs prove too bothersome and have to be left behind somewhere near Toronto.
Do you think Meg's activism will help the Biden/Harris ticket, or the causes she claims to support?
Comments
I did wonder if the DM would pick up on Scobie's tweet... and they didn't disappoint!
Megsy & Haz with their "Be Kind" preaching must be disgusted with him for calling us all morons - surely??
Where are they bringing up the William & Rose rumour again, if you don't mind me asking?
I was thinking about how the palace was saying they had a hard time defending mm/h from what was printed when the rumors were true.
Think about it. This is a position mm/h often put people in.
Bob Iger is one example. Serena Williams is another example.
Often it's people who can't defend themselves. Angela Kelly, the two nannies.
Elephants Without Borders is another example - declined to say if they ever got the $3 million or not. Probably because they didn't get it. It probably went into Sussex Royal, transferred to Travalyst, then used to purchase their home?
Babies2babies-declined to say if an airplane was requested or not. Probably because it was. Did mm/h then charge the airplane cost to Travalyst?
Looks more and more like Travalyst is a money laundering scheme. Would love to see them forensically audited.
Can we think of other examples of when mm/h put someone/an entity in a bad position?
Why am I here?
I found Nutty on CDAN and started reading. Much more interesting. I am reminded of a possible quote (possible World According to Garp) I want to find out what happens next (so I keep reading.
Can I get a witness.
Given what the BRF went through with Mrs. Simpson, I'm gobsmacked, really that they capitulated to Harry's getting hitched to another American. That truly is the area of conflict; not the fact that Meg has some African blood. The two states are really mutually incompatible--being American and being a Princess of the United Kingdom.
All her African blood meant to her was the lucky bonus of getting to call them racist.
But had Meg actually wanted to make a go of it within the Firm, it could have worked.
@Lucy wondered upthread whether anyone else in recent times has been given an opportunity as great as Meghan's, only to squander it beyond belief. I doubt it -- and I think that we tried to compile a list, the closest contender would be a distant second. It amazes me, really, that someone so mediocre in terms of intelligence, talent, taste, and looks could have risen as high and caused as much damage as she has. This is a never-to-be-repeated fluke.
Thanks for putting up the latest Scoobie article. Now I'm really beginning to wonder if Scoobie is a double agent. He has to know that calling people morons is:
1) Not PC, completely anathema to MM's "woke" schtick.
2) Bound to enrage the anti-Harkle crowd
Did MM shoot herself in the foot again by dropping JM? Could JM have "turned" Scoobie after MM dumped her? JM is the queen of the SoHo House, and if she decided to go after MM, I think she could get Scoobie to do it.
Scoobie had so many horrific gaffes lately, and this one is the worst so far. It almost seems planned, as nobody can be so stupid to write some of the things he's written lately, almost as if he's trying to get The Harkles bad press.
I'm just shaking my head wondering how he thinks this is good PR for the book.
Mountbatten is an anglicisation of Battenburg, that name is from Louis who married one of Victoria's granddaughters. Louis served in the British Navy and became the first Earl of Milford Haven. Mount Batten, coincidentally but neatly, is a peninsula in Plymouth Sound. The family formed the Greek and Danish Royal families. Victoria had hoped that by marrying her children into the Royal families of Europe, good international relations could be achieved...
Victoria herself spoke with a German accent, thanks to her mother and her governess.
Even if Elephants Without Borders, Babies2babies, and other charities they've worked with never spill the tea to the press, there's still the non-profit grapevine. I'm sure word has got around that the Harkles are all foam and no beer.
With respect to Babies2babies, which probably does really good work, it likely booked the Harkles only because all of Meghan's other choices had turned her down. The casual community atmosphere of their back-to-school drive-through isn't really her style. So if they paid for a private plane and then only got ten minutes of "work" out of her, the word-of-mouth will be devastating.
Isn't this the very stuff they're objecting to about themselves?
That unkind, unpleasant things were written about them? Even if true?
So much for mm being a feminist. Calling another woman out for a pregnancy related illness? By a man??????
No, she didn't say it herself. But her unofficial spokesman did. And she didn't put out anything denying it, or telling him to stop it, he's wrong, be nice.
If she didn't agree with what he said she needs to publicly denounce it,
Maybe. But as an American, I don't think M's most bothersome behaviors are uniquely American or even typically American. I know (when she's not crying racism) M frequently uses American (or California) culture to explain negative views of her behavior, but if American Lisa Halaby could fit into Jordanian royalty and culture, M could have fit into the BRF and UK culture. She just didn't want to. And that wasn't because she's American IMO.
Scobie's a fool. He's flattered all day long by Meg's sycophants and because he's similar to his 'mistress' in that he cannot abide criticism - the first time he roundly received it, he lashed out! I think he'll live to regret that little outburst. (at least I hope so!)
I personally don't believe that Megs has dropped JM.
It's all smoke & mirrors.
DM - Scooby whining about critics
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8661935/Prince-Harry-Meghan-Markles-biographer-comments-Prince-Andrews-horrendous-mess.html
he’s upset people are critical of a non-working royal, MM and wonders why they aren’t critical of another (non-working royal) PA.
I believe PA is non-working as well and has plenty of critics, so I think he’s as delusional as the Harkles
So many things don't add up that you cannot just accept what the press has told you on faith alone. It's one's duty to question the official narrative so as not to allow the government to get away with things.
The $3 mil should show up in Elephant Without Borders' next financial report.
We saw how rude she was to the moderator at International Women's Day when she scoffed she didn't read any social media and said "I read the Economist, I'll give you that."
I can certainly see how they are a PR nightmare. You don't want your clients behaving badly at the events you book for them.
I can only imagine how irritated the volunteers, the people who actually coordinated the Baby2Baby event felt. If H&M were really involved they would have shown up wearing the event tshirts, but they weren't and they also wouldn't have been able to merch those.
Scobie's latest comments calling people morons and making light of HG reinforces that: he's thin-skinned and mean just like H&M, and it certainly seems like MM is intensely jealous of Kate.
There was a great quote on Twitter this AM about how all of these antics prove that the RF needs to be protected from the Harkles.
There are various reasons why some of us follow the Meghan Circus and would like to see her disappear from view.
What I can't abide are women who hate Meghan because she's a woman. The biggest problem with advancement of women in society are other women. There are many women here who are regular posters who are women haters. You can easily distinguish them because they always blame women in every situation. They poison this blog with their attacks on other posters as well. In fact, they are just as toxic as Meghan is.
I think Meghan's obstinate Americanness is mostly personal branding. (Wasn't there a leak somewhere that from the get-go she wanted her PR to emphasize that she was an American royal?) It also gave her as convenient an excuse for being a victim as her on-again, off-again blackness did. The evil tabloids blindsided her? "I'm American; we don't have those there." (A blatant lie, by the way.) The stiff upper lip wasn't working? It's just a "British sensibility" that lets one survive, but not THRIVE! And so on.
I was on Twitter several days ago and read that some of MM's sugars bringing up William and Rose and (of course) disparaging Catherine.
If I have time I'll try and see if I remember their Twitter acounts, no mainstream media is revisiting the story as far as I know.
Chief of this was her venturing into political territory which she had no business doing as a Royal fiancee, making partisan comments on our relationship with the EU, for instance, especially as she was not a British subject.
That was followed by the realisation that she is a narcissist and is probably quite seriously disturbed mentally.
I wanted to shout from the rooftops what I believed about all that, about the bizarre `pregnancy', and about her reaction to what I considered to be entirely justified criticism.
Nutty Flavor has allowed me to do that, as well as sharing my thoughts with others interested in the topic and learning from them. I has helped me to see things from a world viewpoint and I hope I have been able to fill in some gaps about the view from the UK.
I am appalled by the number of people I meet who have swallowed her whines uncritically.
Thank you, Nutty, for providing this space. Long may it last.
"The biggest problem with advancement of women in society are other women....."
Agree with your statements. It is hard enough sometimes for us to do what we should be allowed to do in a modern free society but it is particularly hurtful when you have a woman denigrating you or trying to hold you back or discount your opinion.
I find it is hard to accept the vitriol slung at certain women in the BRF or associated with it when excuses are made for male members or males associates and their behavior. I won't go into specifics as to not cause a war but recent topics involve Di/Charles/Camilla for starters. And maybe in some ways issues with Harry & Meghan.
Megofirst would be doing something positive for womankind if she made moves to educate `chauvinist pigs' like Scabies about the realities of female biology - and that we have higher pain thresholds and make a lot less fuss about illness than men do.
I really don't know what OhMy Scabies sees as his end game here. Is he really so delusional under the spell of the Markle Guyana-esque Kool-Aid that he thinks sticking with her and spouting her science fiction is going to get him a juicy berth as her Chief of Staff when she becomes President of these Woke United States? I can't really fathom how someone with any career ambition left would align himself with Murkle.
These circles Meg has gotten in with are so incestuous. Scabies is part of the SoHo crowd too. I believe he was 'romantically' linked (since the real words are too filthy for a family blog) with Markus Anderson. MA was also linked 'romantically' with E. Enninful, BritVogue editor who 'gave' Megsy her little magazine project last year, and who apparently is still employed by BritVogue, quizzically.
All of Meg's connections come through Soho House. 'Suits', her part-time job on basic cable never got her the connections that Soho House did. I can totally believe that her yachting brought her into contact with these powerful people she's now extracting favors from. Or they are from her, I can't really decide. Meg was very well acquainted with a large swathe of Harry's friends (some without any clothes on, if we believe that rumor) before she ever met Harry. Oh Sordid Mio Scabies is in that crowd up to his neck (and other body parts) too.
I believe every word he writes is straight from Meg's mouth, so when he denounces Catherine's HG or calls Meg's enemies 'morons', he's only setting down verbatim what she's told him to put down, perhaps in a frothing at the mouth phone call from Landslide Towers. The Narc rage must be getting pretty incandescent.
Scabies is the 'journalist' equivalent of Prof. Quirrell from Harry Potter--the one who has Voldemort literally growing out of his head. He is the Evil One's living ventriloquist dummy, and so is Scabies. I guess he feels that the Soho House crowd is going to take care of him for life--he keeps getting all this plastic surgery to turn himself into the plaything of some Saudi billionaire who likes boys but wants to pretend that he's in bed with a girl. Either that, or OS is a transsexual. The effect is more of a transman than a transwoman at this point but he's not done yet, just like his idol/master MeMe. Maybe MeMe and Mio have Botox 'girls' parties together. Anything is possible in this warped world they inhabit.
I couldn't say it any better than @miggy: "Thank you for taking on what is proving to be a difficult task.
I would also like to thank Nutty for allowing us this blog to air our opinions on the Harkles.
Long may it continue. ".
Sorry for my short snarky comment last night. Insomnia wears me down sometimes.
Yeh, stuns of it. Like yah, :)
Omid - morons and PA
The very first thing which ran in my mind was "Oh trying to deflect criticism? And why? Why now?"
I suspect the book was supposed to help lead them into the glory of fawning by the world and it has been anything but. (part of me wonders if they held back even more moments of where they were let down so they could write their own book, or another book, because the sales would have justified more details).
Calling people names that you are trying to convince to rethink and swing to your side has never made any sense to me. (example FBI and Branch Davidians - just how was that to convince them that David was the not good person and they were?). Insults don't make me think fondly of you (hint to ex).
As for trying to redirect people to Prince Andrew as the bad one, well nothing has gone well for them so this (and the bringing up an affair with Rose) are just attempts to draw our attention away from this train wreck they created. Notice this wasn't a big (or even a) talking point until all this criticism about how silly they appear has really started to take its toll.
They are coming off as desperate ... because they are (I guess).
I'm sorry, I have to take issue with you about Salisbury - these are conspiracy theories that don't hold water. You should know it's extremely offensive. You are entitled to your opinion but I would appreciate you not spreading falsehoods.
A simple example - of course, nobody would have been harmed by the pressurised perfume bottle until the button was depressed. It had however been found by someone rummaging through bins in hope of finding something `useful. It was apparently in its original packaging and looked almost brand new. He took it home as a present for his girlfriend, who sprayed it on her wrists, with tragic results.
I don't know how well, if at all, you know Salisbury. It's full of Army personnel and highly likely that anyone going to the aid of someone in need of help would be in HM Forces.
In case you're assuming that our own Security Services were involved, they don't leave `fingerprints'.
I’m here because I saw someone mention Nutty’s blog in a DM comment. Right from the time Harry issued (and I believe penned...sorry Megsy dictated) that rambling incoherent statement in November 2016, I knew something was wrong and had changed. From the Invictus Games farce to the nauseating engagement interview....I knew what we were in for and it wasn’t anything remotely good.
CatsEyes, it’s fine, truly. ;o)
No apology necessary! I like the collaboration on this site. Your post added in some good information.
I was on Twitter several days ago and read that some of MM's sugars bringing up William and Rose and (of course) disparaging Catherine.
If I have time I'll try and see if I remember their Twitter acounts, no mainstream media is revisiting the story as far as I know.
OK, thanks :)
I will spread whatever I see fit. I don't care if the truth is causing you difficulties.
1. A sample cannot have a complete absence of impurities after being on a used doorknob, outdoors, for several days. The sample provided was, on the contrary, straight out of a laboratory.
2. The government’s contention that “almost complete absence of impurities” meant “military grade” was complete nonsense. There is no such thing as “military grade” novichok. It has never been issued to any military, anywhere. The novichok programme was designed to produce an organo-phosphate poison which could quickly be knocked up from readily available commercial ingredients. It was not part of an actual defence industry manufacturing programme.
3. Three days ago Sky News had an outside broadcast from the front of the Skripals’ house in Salisbury, where they explained that the roof had been removed and replaced due to contamination with “novichok”.
I cannot believe that a gel, allegedly smeared or painted onto the doorknob, migrated upwards to get into the roof of a two storey house, in such a manner that the roof had to be destroyed, but the house in between did not.
Appreciate the post about the Salisbury poisonings.
Thank you for posting about the jet request. I can not imagine someone thinking they are sooooo important that a charity they have decided to grace with their presence would be expected to foot the bill for a private jet...and receiving 10 minutes of "work" in return.
Let me rephrase the above: expect a charity to foot the bill for a 25 minute private jet trip to ferry said famous people to a charity event where their idea of "work" or "help" is to show up for ten minutes of photographs with their own photographer and then they are gone.
Asking a charity to pay for your selfish photoshoot? Most people of means contribute to charities, not take from them.
I can certainly concur with you re all the above. I was suspicious of MM right from the start (pap walk in Toronto, Vanity Fair article).
I can't believe some people would be naive enough to swallow MM's whines. It's mind boggling.
And yes, long may we have this blog so thank you to Nutty and Charade.
. . .as an American, I don't think M's most bothersome behaviors are uniquely American or even typically American.
I manifestly agree with you that there is nothing remotely typical about MeMe, and that her failure to integrate into her marriage family is all down to her never intending to, and going out of her way to be offensive toward their customs so that she could then cry "Racism & Bullying", when in fact they had bent over backwards to be accommodating toward their newest member. She's as lousy a representative of her home country as she was in her marriage one.
But looking at this through the filter of the BRF's and Britain's as a whole, last experience with a (twice) divorced American woman attempting to enter the family--through British eyes, as it were . . you have to admit that Meg (and Wallis before her) just reflect horribly on American womanhood. We know that Meg's patented brand of narcissistic California woke Americanism does not speak for all of us over here, but this is what many foreign watchers might be forgiven for concluding: that all Americans are grasping, lascivious dishonest gold diggers entirely lacking in self-control, basic morality or respect for the institutions of society.
Even had MM been a lovely and pro-British woman who truly cared about Harry for reasons other than his family connection or wealth, I still would have thought advising him to choose a bride from his own country would have been the wiser course. Another version of Harry than the one we've got might have listened to such advice. Their tax situation alone is going to be a nightmare, but that aside . . Our two respective countries demand fealty to two diametrically opposed versions of government and human beings' place within that system. Britain is now our treasured ally, but to fully embrace and support through ones daily life every moment the institution of the British monarchy is to renounce what the United States is fundamentally about. As a member of the ruling family of that institution, marrying Harry isn't just like marrying a regular British citizen--it's aligning oneself with a foreign power. One which we have determined in this country, since 1776, represents a system we no longer cared to be governed by. It would have to be quite a Prince who would actually be worthy of such a sacrifice, and Harry is NOT that person.
It's a deep philosophical decision, to leave one's county and way of life and adopt another, especially when it is profoundly different in a number of ways. Meg's aim was never to become British but rather remold Harry into her image as a woke American . .in his loyalties, if not his titles and sources of income. She wants to be both--A Royal Duchess American Movie Star. This is impossible. But she's never let that stop her. This relationship has been faux from the start and obtained under deception. Apart from Megsy's mental conditions, and her exploitation of the Race card, what bothers me most about her is that she has turned being American into something dirty. She's tainted us. If she were not one of my countrywomen, I wouldn't be as bothered by her as I am, because the Harkles would be some other country's problem. For better or worse, American celebrity culture has spawned this beast known as Meg, so on a collective level, to some degree, America is responsible for her. She really does display all the very worst tendencies now so prevalent among the American Millennials--with her own special brand of Nasty Narkle Sauce.
So Sky News isn't MSM?
Are you sure that you were on Freeview Channel 233 (Sky News)
Not on Free view Channel 234 (Russia Today)?
We must agree to differ.
The other night I was watching the documentary on the Windsors and Charles was being highlighted. It's worth remembering that Charles actually had many qualities that Harry now has, except the Charles is more intelligent and respectful of the Monarchy. Charles too wanted to 'make his own way' and wanted to alter his destiny a bit. He was a bit rebellious and apparently had a lot of entanglements with his father Prince Phillip. So I got to thinking, you know, that part of Harry is okay and normal if we are being fair. He actually started doing that a bit, with the Invictus games and his veterans charities. I can understand that his way in life would seem difficult. While his cousins like Beatrice and Eugenie would obviously get jobs and be secondary royals, his royal status is higher and as such, should he, would he, get a job? That's about the end of my kind understanding of Harry got. Because I immediately started thinking, no Harry doesn't want a regular job. He wants so swoop in, smile, shake 3 hands, listen to the screams and see the blinding flashbulbs and get outta there. As fate would have it, the woman who he married wants that with every single fiber of her being and literally will not stop until she's achieved utter power. After watching that program, I realized then why Charles is so slow to act with Harry because Charles himself has felt the same way as Harry in many instances in his life. The main problem that H&M have is William. Well, not Harry as much as Meghan because I believe William will take his brother back under conditions. Meghan? William is going to destroy her when he gets the chance. I really think he will. I wonder how cognizent Meghan is of that.
My other H & M point of the day is the article in the DM about Scobie griping about Prince Andrew. Oooooh he sounds bitter with a mouthful of sour grapes. I think that comes directly from Megsy. Just crazy how they misjudged the reaction to Finding Freedom. She really does think she's Diana 2.0 doesn't she. They are well and truly screwed now as a result of that idiotic book
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8661935/Prince-Harry-Meghan-Markles-biographer-comments-Prince-Andrews-horrendous-mess.html
Off topic, so it’s a one off for me.
There was a recent documentary series about spies fronted by Damien Lewis, and one of the episodes was about the above story, it was extremely good. You’re well backed up with your content as is Pretty Paws.
----------------------
I can't speak for all 'Brits' and other nationalities but I can assure you that I wouldn't tar all American women with the same brush. In any case, I think it would be very difficult to find somebody as bad and dangerous as MM. Fear not :)
When I first saw Meghan, I had no idea who she was. I thought she was attractive but very affected. My sister and I watched the engagment interview and cringed...big time. We gave her a chance, watched the wedding and all the rest is history. I don't like to every hate or even dislike a single soul. So I do not hate Meghan Markle, but I am interested in her in a negative way, LOL. Most Americans really don't give 2 shits about her but I am happy to find others that are interested. I think there is a lot of us, judging from papers like the Daily Mail. I honestly do NOT wish them ill will, but to watch her come in and literally attempt to take down the whole Institution for her narcissitic and extreme egoist interest in 'hearing her own voice' is enough to make me sick. SO, I am glad to find other like minded folk who agree!
I read sometimes that some of you believe Meghan Markle reads this blog and others. I wonder if that is true or not. I kinda hope not!
They are nothing like this woman. She could be of another nationality and be the same woman, the same personality that is the opposite of a role model, in every way.
Cheers from the "Amen Corner" on everything you said regarding that vile syncophant Scobie. He is the Goebbels to MMs Hitler.
I honestly hope he gets a taste of what he is spewing, and it takes a lot for me to become so enraged.
@Nutty, and @Charade
Thank you for giving us such a great community, and I'm so sorry for the grief you endure as a result of you doing a good thing. I feel very helpless when I see the trouble brewing and dont know how to stop it or if I should even try. It seems very cyclical. I believe we all agreed to ignore the fighting, scroll on by and to never join in, even when invited (demanded) to. If this is not working for you, let us know and we will do whatever needs to be done. I believe we all value this space and these people.
It grieves me. Honestly it does.
Thank you so much to all the Nuttiers for their wisdom, erudition, and clear-eyed ability to see the truth, wherever you find it.
But I do think she's learned if there's a next time, how to better fake a pregnancy, and that's because we keep bringing up the "tells."
I am certain she reads something, maybe the Daily Mail, or other publications
https://youtu.be/JhKCrTjs85I
I made it to about 2 minute mark when he recites "classic Meghan" 😒 Iwill reserve judgment in case it is not actual book reading but oh my gosh if it is? She "he' must have dropped 20 names within first couple pages. I honestly cannot believe this is book
I of course too would like to express my thanks to Nutty and Charade and all here who comment that make Nutty Flavor blog such a fun and informative place. I truly have learned and laughed alot *air hugs*
I too am thankful for this site. It must take lots of time. You guys are an absolute wealth of information. Thank you so much!!
I watched an older Chatting with Lady C last night, and she said Scoobie's people called her after she said he was the former boyfriend of MA. Scoobie asked her to delete that from her video.
So she, in her Lady C way, mentioned that Scoobie said it wasn't true. If you listen between the lines, though, I think she believes that he is/was.
I just thought it was interesting that Scoobie and Mm's people are watching Lady C so closely, which means they feel threatened by her. One of mm's "friends" made it known that it just might come out that MmM said her father tried to rape her, and then Scoobie gets all hot and bothered about an association with MA.
They sure do have thin skins, don't they, for people who are making their living by spreading rumors and gossip about nearly every member of the BRF.
******************************************
As for the BRF drinking issue that was brought up. A glass of wine at lunch and a drink at dinner does not an alcoholic make. The French, Italians, and other countries do that daily, and they do it in moderation. Most people know that, either from reading or by visiting those countries. A little knowledge about the daily lives of people in other countries goes a long way.
There are many things I do feel strongly about, but I do not feel like my opinions, my points of view, my beliefs are so much better, so much more correct than others. Well I guess as election time dawns in America, we will be hearing lots of those types of voices for awhile.
Omid.... 😬 he is hard for me to look at. I don’t want to be mean, especially to someone who appears to have body dysmorphia. I hope he stops here, because if he keeps going with the sculpting or whatever it’s called, I will have to avert my eyes. His eyebrows are too much, too exact. Too perfect. Eyebrows shouldn’t be like that. Omid, if you read here, it’s time to stop [said in a meaningful mom concerned voice).
We finally just got a light shower from Marco. Laura might it might not be an issue if she jogs back and forth. They are not saying category 3 and the meteorologist just used the term I hate: “rapid intensification”... my daughter came home because she is nearly on the gulf coast so I do have one kid here. The giant tree is outside her bedroom, so she will sleep on the other side of the house starting tonight.
Thank you to all who wished us well who live in a hurricane zone. Gumbo is on the stove cooking. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
Please excuse the off topic post. Or just scroll and roll.....
Who cares if the Queen, Charles, etc like to drink? So what really. They have a weird existence so they probably like to tip it up pretty often.
Scobie is.... well. Definite body dysmorphia and God knows what else. I think he's got some serious mental stuff going on. Meghan loves those types of people. Very easy for her to manipulate and figure out.
Yes, that is how the book starts- with her going to Selfriges, the brand name-dropping, and how frugal (ha!) poor little MM is. The rest of the book continues on in the same manner. The book is really a waste of time, as it's just complete PR drivel for MM.
==============
Wading into the fray here...*L* but it's my understanding that drinking (heavily) is a significant part of the British culture, is it not?
The rape/molestation story was told by Lady C, who said she was called by somebody from MM's team (Lady C didn't say if it was a friend or a paid person). Lady C said that they intimated that about MM's father, and that it could be released to the public. They were trying t get her to write out it. Lady C said, (and these are my words), that they were trying to take control of what she was writing in her book with a threat of releasing that info. She didn't believe a word of it, and, of course, was not going to be strong-armed by MM's people. She told them to come out and say exactly what they were implying so that she could investigate the allegation, and they wouldn't do that. So she told them that she wouldn't have anything to do with it.
She said they were very cunning about how they went about it, saying things like, "I really can't say it out loud but, it's the worst thing a father could do to a daughter." Things like that. Very sketchy.
An interesting point was made about the mask she was wearing at the latest charity they hijacked.
Royal Jelly indeed! :)

Will all the procedures Scobie and Markle are starting to look alike in a creepy way.
If I were more adept at using digital tools, I would put together a slide show comparing the facial evolution of Markle, Scobie, and Michael Jackson—who appears to be their role model.
@Nutty, and @Charade
I believe we all value this space and
Ditto!!!

You could say the same thing about heavily drinking in American culture, too, if you want to make broad statements about an entire country's drinking habits. Some people drink heavily, some in moderation, and others don't drink at all.
You're welcome! The book is just the gushing MM can do no wrong, the BRBF are racist, overly-flowery, merching drivel that MM spouts almost daily now. It was painful to read.
tatty- Glad you haven't been having the storm too badly.
Scobie is.... well. Definite body dysmorphia and God knows what else. I think he's got some serious mental stuff going on. Meghan loves those types of people. Very easy for her to manipulate and figure out.
Ditto on the storm, tatty! (We got an inch of rain from sheared Marco bands yesterday. Probably way more than you got!)
I'm not so sure that it is a case of Meghan loving those type of people versus her being those type of people if you get the distinction. Regardless, OS appears to be only a few surgeries away from entering the Twilight Zone or Jocelyn Wildenstein surgery territory.
Lady C dropped it like a hot potato because it was so shady and vile. I haven't seen any other mention of it anywhere.
I know FF was so last week but since Scobie is in current conversation can anyone who read FF tell me if this is actual audio book.
You spurred me to take a look.

That she is a long time published author and that she probably has book number two on them planned. Seeing how her first book was a success.
I have trouble hearing some Youtube vids on this computer but I will watch it later on. I'm sure you guys saw that old video where Meghan scolds this reporter who she thought was looking around her. It's funny though, hard to find on Youtube now.
Me, too! I started listening to it, then realized that I will have to wait until the SwampMan goes to bed so I can watch it on TV. By then, the blog will be in moderation. *sigh* (These $5.00 earbuds for the computer are not all that. OTOH, the grandkids don't make off with these 'accidentally'.) I was sitting here giggling about Lady C quoting Piers, I think, about MM's primary claim to fame being a z-list actress in an ensemble cast of a cable program nobody ever heard of.
I'm still only 3/4 of the way through watching, (as keep getting interrupted) but Lady C says that so much has been suppressed about Megsy - and it's all negative!
Many thanks for your comment - I feel vindicated.
@ WBBM
Yes, Salisbury is crawling with army personnel - my brother was based at Tidworth Garrison and I often visited there. I wonder if the people of Salisbury can hear the noise when the army does night exercises. Where I was in Tidworth, it sounded like World War III had broken out.
Sorry if this is OT, I just wanted to clear things up.
On a lighter note, are we making a book as to how soon Half-Wit and Has-been are going to throw OS under a bus. He seems to be very fond of shooting his mouth off and I don't think the Dastardly Duo will stand for him upping his own profile.
Perhaps being a famous author ("gag") has swollen his head just a little too much and he's bound to drop them right in it at some point, especially if he gets interviewed by a veteran reporter who has had little sh*ts like him for breakfast.
So who's up for laying out a few dollars/pounds on a side bet?
I'm heartened to read that Meghan's behavior isn't tarring all American ladies with the same brush. Between MeMe and POTUS, American reputations abroad aren't what they once were. Both are living the Ugly American stereotype in brash, max-volume Narcissist Technicolor!
In reflecting on the disaster Markle as been as a 'Duchess' and representative of two nations, she has less of an impact on the average British person. But the British monarchy as an institution has now had, in the space of 85 years, two American blow in who did not have pure motives, and having weathered the Abdication and the storm of Mrs. Simpson now are confronted with Hurricane Cat 5 Meghan. All I can say is, at least Diana was a British girl, proving that one does not have to be an American to destabilize the monarchy--it can be an inside job, done equally effectively by a homegrown product. Better, probably. Meg is so stupid and so impatient--if she's created this amount of chaos, destruction, waste and heartbreak after barely 18 months as a 'working royal' . . imagine what she might hafve achieved if she'd been constitutionally capable of biding her time for a few more years and actually made the British people and her marriage family like her. There could have been 2 or three more 'Archies' and a theft of the Crown jewels.
Hopefully she took off so early that she's going to burn herself out soon. She really didn't fortify her position well, because she is not able to think strategically.
Let's just say if Prince George brings home an American girl he met during his gap year abroad . . .it is not going to go anywhere. Not after this. And that's all to the good. When it comes to marriage partners, House of Windsor, -- buy British. Importing brides from HM's former North American colonies really doesn't work out for you.
(Autumn Kelly is Canadian, and she couldn't make it last in the clan, either. But at least she converted to the CoE for her husband's sake. Meg pretended to, but that sure didn't take, the citizenship either._
Well, not Harry as much as Meghan because I believe William will take his brother back under conditions. Meghan? William is going to destroy her when he gets the chance. I really think he will. I wonder how cognizent Meghan is of that.
@Christine: I too think William will give Meghan a lesson in ruthlessness. And I wouldn’t blame him one bit. Meghan never planned to live in the UK and spend the remainder of her life in service to the country and the Commonwealth as a working royal.
She entered the family, which is at the same time a thousand year-old institution, hell bent on cherry picking the parts of both that she wanted for herself, namely, the royal title, the status, the power and influence, the instant worldwide fame and wealth that as an aging, mediocre at best actress whose career expiration date was rapidly approaching. As far as the parts she wasn’t interested in, she tossed aside.
As with her life prior to Harry, Meghan didn’t allow anything or any person get in the way of achieving her selfish goals, including splitting up the once close bond between Harry and William, and Harry and his grandparents, and spiriting Harry away In a psychological kidnapping to Southern California so to isolate Harry from family, lifelong friends, and every aspect of his life before Meghan.
William knows this. He might not be aware that Meghan likely has a profound case of narcissistic personality disorder, which is difficult to treat because narcissists will rarely get treatment for the problems because they think the rest of the world is at fault and not them. They are professional victims.
Because of Archie and the likelyhood of a second child in 2021 or 2022, Meghan will be a thorn in the side of the William, the royal family, the monarchy, and the UK for the remainder of her life. But if she knows that William won’t take any crap from her, she will keep her distance and choose her battles carefully. But she will NEVER go away completely.
From my extensive experience with narcs, I know they have to be dealt with ruthlessly. Never give them a second chance. They soecialize in toxic destruction. I hope William squashes her like a bug.
"Duchess Meghan and @GloriaSteinem have filmed a conversation on representation, the importance of each vote and how all women “are linked, not ranked” for @MAKERSwomen
(a platform accelerating the women's movement through stories of real life experiences). It’ll be out tomorrow."
https://twitter.com/scobie/status/1298357656080601088
A few years back, I thought that was interesting that William took an interest in the MI6, the British Intelligence Agency and has made several public visits and who knows how many private visits. I wonder what he was doing there, beyond some of his regular interests in government works.
William seems to have gotten the lionshare of good qualities from his mother and father. He possesses Diana's ruthlessness and Charles's idea of playing the long game. He seems generally more interested in his future role as King now than he ever was before.
William gave us a few public examples of his feelings. The Scarfing, Taking his family on the commercial plane during H&M's private jet spree outrage and other times. He's also tried, gamely. Walking with his wife and H&M at so many events, making small talk with Meghan, being there with his brother at his wedding (even though he did stare straight ahead a lot) Must really suck to basically lose your brother after all they had been through together and their mother dying as well.
I'll stop my fandom fawning over him now!
Re. Megsy telling tales on Thomas
(Lady C.) said they were very cunning about how they went about it, saying things like, "I really can't say it out loud but, it's the worst thing a father could do to a daughter." Things like that. Very sketchy.
I hope, in the course of this Mail on Sunday lawsuit that Thomas has a good legal team, and that they will have pointed out to him (gently) that he's got to prepare himself for just such an allegation. GimMEG has already riding Black Lives Matter, but there's #MeToo (Meg variant: #MeFirst . . . the other thing even harder to disprove than an allegation of racism is an allegation of sexual abuse.
Facing down an allegation of incestuous rape upon his own daughter could kill a man in his 70s of indifferent health, and I'm sure Meg would have thought of that. Tom is all used up for her purposes--there's no more money from that quarter. Her father is now only a threat to her for everything he knows about her from birth on. It would be expedient for Meg if Thomas were to die and the quicker the better. She would be feeling the same way towards the Queen, I imagine, since once Charles ascends, he will be paying their fees at Landslide Towers out of the Duchy of Lancaster, and as sovereign his wealth will far outstrip what he's got now as Prince of Wales.
*********
They did not listen, because they were certain that shown enough love, this child would blossom. She was just so cute.
The social worker was right about it all. This child often flew into rages, threatening her adoptive parents, other siblings and family pets with harm. She drew violent bloody images of her slaughtering her adoptive family with knives. She set fires. She could not under any circumstances be left unattended with small animals or younger children. And, right on cue, at about the age of 12 or so, she brought out the Big Gun: accused her adoptive father of molestation. He had to move out of the family home for months while a criminal investigation was launched against him. He was exonerated and was able to move back home. The girl was sent to a group home to finish out her teenage years for the safety of everyone else in the home.
Despite the glowing testimonials to Thomas's fatherhood which Meg used to post on the Tig and the gushy letters to her dad which she made sure were published for public consumption, just like her last letter to him--if Meg is a Narcissist, then the only individual she can truly love is herself. She could be nice to Thomas back when she still needed him to give her money and shower her with things, and as long as he was giving her what she wanted, she could be generous with the praise. But perhaps it was never genuine; just as calculated as the rest of her relationships.
Tom Markle should be worried. Not even unleashing the Kraken of Samantha Markle, who'd come out in vociferous defense of her father would save Tom from being suspected. Just because he never interfered with Sammie doesn't mean that he couldn't have taken advantage of his youngest daughter . . who was after all, partly black and therefore especially vulnerable to exploitation. I'm sure there'd be some way to twist the story into Thomas Markle being racist as well . . this man who married a black woman and had a child with her.
In future years, look for a similar allegation of sexual abuse/harassment and racist talk/harassment to be forthcoming from the Narkle camp about Prince Charles and William, too, if the RF cuts her off completely or doesn't pony up the payouts she feels entitled to. 'The World is Not Enough' for Narcs like Meg, so she's going to be an ugly blight on this family for a very long time.
Hmmmm. Don't know if I believe. Adele has been suggested as Handbag's side but no name (only that there is a man) associated with MeMe.
Also suggested Doria moved in to keep an eye on her and her daughter's meal ticket--Harry. Because if Harry is having an affair it would harm their "Brand" and hence her livelihood. Archie must still have a nanny as Doria wouldn't nanny full time and MeMe and Handbag wouldn't know how to parent (or Archie wouldn't have had a full nappie for Duck Rabbit). IMHO.
Okay now I am really running off
Yes, how soon before Megs turns on OS. His head has definitely become too swollen for his own good and he'll soon be trapped into saying something very indiscreet about the Harkles on air. Then watch the balloon go up!
OS will be a liability for Megs if she really does want to dip a toe into US politics - he'll be torn apart and, seeing as how he can't take any criticism and just lashes out verbablly, I won't be at all surprised. Who with any sense(?) wants a big-mouth on their team when they're trying to impress the electorate?
I'm afraid I am right about Megsy, too. In my (unsolicited, amateur) opinion, she is a sociopath. The looks she gave Catherine were proof enough for me.
I do not suspect Tom of this, but he and Doria had a rather lax household. Lots of people around, most under the influence of something. Maybe some of Tom Jr's friends or other guests were inappropriate with young Megsie? Or something happened on the set of Married with Children when Tom was busy working? Not a salubrious environment for a young girl, but this was during the period when Doria was on her walkabout and Tom wouldn't have had anyone to leave her with while he was on set.
In the town Meg grew up in, one does not have to look very hard or far afield to stumble into something unsavory. I'm just wondering if something other than photo shoots with Tom turned Meg into a hypersexualized little Lolita. If she was monetizing sex (note my use of the word 'If' for legal reasons) . . well, not all nubile girls resort to that income stream, not even all nubile girls from Hollywood. Meg seems to have had little problem sexualizing herself for gain. Often this is due to early abuse in childhood--much younger than Virginia Guiffre. These girls grow up thinking that this is a normal way to get attention from men and it's a short hop from there to selling it. Just wondering . . .
I sure don't believe it. Adele would eat Handbag for breakfast, with a side of Marmite.
Would anybody else have Harry now? Knowing that he's been with Narkle?
It's Bunny Boiling time if you mess with Narkle's meal ticket. Adele is far too confident to want Harry. They might be friendly just because they are two Britons adrift in L.A.
The one thing that is worrying me at the moment concerning her political ambitions is her trying to foist BLM on the young Commonwealth leaders. Let's face it, the big majority of CW citizens are PoC and some are very impressionable. The RF definitely need to drop the Harkles from their CW positions and I think PW may be the one to set this in motion.
I believe that PW absolutely adores his wife and children but I also believe that he could be very cold and calculating where MM is concerned. Just because he hasn't openly done anything yet doesn't mean that he's not working away behind the scenes and we all know about dripping water wearing away a stone.
If MM thinks she can beat PW then someone should remind her about the consequences of getting into an arse-kicking contest with a porcupine! The same goes with reference to the US electorate.
The very first person to discover the Skripals ill on a park bench in Salisbury just happened to be the Chief Nurse of the British Army, who chanced to be walking past them on her way back from a birthday party. How lucky was that? The odds are about the same as the chance of my vacuum cleaner breaking down just before James Dyson knocks at my door to ask for directions. There are very few people indeed in the UK trained to give nursing care to victims of chemical weapon attack, and of all the people who might have walked past, it just happened to be the most senior of them!
I want to emphasise again that Col. Alison McCourt is not the chief nurse of a particular unit or hospital, she is the Chief Nurse of the entire British Army. Her presence was kept entirely quiet by the media for ten months, when all sorts of stories were run in the MSM about who the first responders were – various doctors and police officers being mentioned.
If you believe that it is coincidence that the Chief Nurse of the British Army was the first person to discover the Skripals ill, you are a credulous fool. And why was it kept quiet?
Remarkable Metabolisms
This has been noted many times, but no satisfactory answer has ever been given. The official story is that the Skripals were poisoned by their door handle, but then well enough to go out to a pub, feed some ducks, and have a big lunch in Zizzi’s, before being instantly stricken and disabled, both at precisely the same time.
The Skripals were of very different ages, genders and weights. That an agent which took hours to act but then kicks in with immediate disabling effect, so they could not call for help, would affect two such entirely different metabolisms at precisely the same time, has never been satisfactorily explained. Dosage would have an effect and of course the doorknob method would give an uncontrolled dosage.
But that the two different random dosages were such that they affected each of these two very different people at just the same moment, so that neither could call for help, is an extreme coincidence. It is almost as unlikely as the person who walks by next being the Chief Nurse of the British Army.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8663941/Meghan-Markle-sits-Gloria-Steinem-backyard-chat-voting.html
After the poisoning of Charlie Rowley and Dawn Sturgess, the Police cordoned off Charlie Rowley’s home and began a search for “Novichok”, in an attitude of extreme urgency because it was believed this poison was out amidst the public. They were specifically searching for a small phial of liquid. Yet it took 11 days of the search before they allegedly discovered the “novichok” in a perfume bottle sitting in plain sight on the kitchen counter – and only after they had discovered the clue of the perfume bottle package in the bin the day before, after ten days of search.
The bottle was out of its packaging and “novichok”, of which the tiniest amount is deadly, had been squirted out of its nozzle at least twice, by both Rowley and Sturgess, and possibly more often. The exterior of the bottle/nozzle was therefore contaminated. Yet the house, unlike the Skripals’ roof space, has not had to be destroyed.
I do not believe it took the Police eleven days to find the very thing they were looking for, in plain sight as exactly the small bottle of liquid sought, on a kitchen bench. What else was happening?
OH my. About 50 pictures of...just Harry. The Harry we knew. Standing tall. Smiling at people. Smiling and interacting with kids. Looking kempt and healthy and happy. Prob'ly before 2016, if you see what I mean... it made me nostalgic, in fact almost painfully so....
https://www.flickr.com/photos/britishmonarchy/sets/72157676414771645
...so amazing, partly of course it is the contrast between then and now. Then, back on the BRF site I searched on "Harry" and up came....
https://www.royal.uk/The-Duke-of-Sussex
If you have not seen it... it is Harry, smiling and neat but with a huge red bump on his forehead. Huge. Like, like a carbuncle on the face of a dearly loved friend.....
I scrolled through. MM is very very scarce in these pics...good.
The mills of the gods grind slowly but the grind exceedingly fine, as I believe someone else, maybe several, observed here before. That is the creaking sound you hear in the background.

I cleaned up the new mess that happened during my first good night's rest in more than a week"
I want to add my thanks...thank you charade for pitching in and then keeping on with this task. As you saw, everyone is grateful for your help. Glad you took a rest, do take care of yourself.
@SwampWoman, your response to PP state funeral (facing down, kiss my a$$) ~ loved it!!!

Regarding the bump on Harry's forehead...That's the result of a head injury. My son suffered a head injury in an accident and has that as well. Harry could also have some residual cognitive deficits.
The frontal lobe is the part of the brain that is responsible for executive functions such as planning for the future, judgement, decision-making skills, attention span, and inhibition.
MM gloms onto anything or anyone she can to stay relevant. She knows she doesn’t have the chops in any department, charity, human rights, womens empowerment, blm, etc. , to use her own ‘voice’ and ‘experiences’ to speak empathetically or authentically about the subjects. She has to reach out to others and other organizations in whatever her latest virtue signalling flavor of the day is to stay in the press /tabloids that she so desperately claims are toxic.
she said it best when she admited ’ I’m such a fraud!’
but sadly those same people and organizations need to glom back onto her so they can also get press for their cause. it’s a symbiotic relationship.
i don’t buy it yet. and agree with the above who said MM is insanely jealous and would not let JCMPH out of her claw long enough to get some.
didn’t cdan have something recently about some brit actors trying to befriend JCMWippedPH to go surfing with them and the CLAW wouldn’t let him go? I know CDAN isnt the most reliable but i believe that one.
MM will get a sidepiece first imo.
Further to my previous reply, I have found a different video channel which does have a CC (closed caption) icon next to the Settings icon but unfortunately it's not available on the Lady C videos. :-(
I only now spotted your latest post to me.
OK, I'll give it a day or two and see if it appears.
Thanks :)
Re. Harry’s Carbuncle
Perhaps H.’s forehead collided with a teapot or other object flung at him in rage? If she would do it to a lowly staff person who is unknown to her, she’d certainly abuse The person she had the closest access to, if he displeased her in some way.
Or perhaps her inflicting pain on him regularly is a bit more codified in their relationship as part of their twisted whatever it is that turns them on if they’re into BDSM. Seems like Harry may have inherited a number of proclivities from great uncle David.
I have seriously considered whether Harry is under some kind of hypnotic suggestion, Coupled with some drug that makes him compliant. I’m venturing into Manchurian Candidate territory here, But that is one explanation for the way his demeanor veers wildly between submission and flashes of the old Harry such as we saw on the balcony at TOC last year. He was an acting like a p-whipped robot that day, And even brought tears to Madam’s eyes. Where is whatever she gives him wearing off, or was that some kind of elaborate role-play—The sub insulting his dom very publicly, All the better to be severely punished later.
I have never been hypnotized myself, and I’m not really sure I believe in it. However, if there is truth in the power of suggestion, I think Harry would be a textbook susceptible subject. And there are certain pharmaceuticals which render a subject in capable of asserting his or her own will, And they will do whatever they are told, while retaining consciousness in the power of mobility in a way that say roofies would not allow.
What ever Meg’s hold on Harry, it’s a sure bet that this couple is into some really sick shit together. Just look at the people they can sort with. Meg’s camp might not benefit much by continually carping on Andrew’s sins. Meg and the Soho House cohort might be mixed up deeper with the Epstein empire than Andrew was.
Whatever it is, it was bad enough to ram through a marriage that never should have happened and force the BF to scrub her past.
At this point I don’t think anything could shock me about this circle. And I mean anything., there are worse things then middle-age guys paying teenage girls $10,000 for a hand job. A lot worse. I think Meg would do anything for a price because there is no line she will not cross. She doesn’t recognize lines.
Re. Allegations against Thomas
Just to clarify my position in case my comment above sounded ambiguous in any way, I do not believe Thomas Markle guilty Of “the worst thing a father could do to a daughter”. I’m just imagining how a legal charge might play out against him If Meg gets into her head to Go There. He could collect any number of character witnesses, And his other daughter Samantha would be a powerful witness for the defense. However, megs lawyers would cast doubt By saying either Samantha is lying to protect her father, or she could be telling the truth as far as her own experiences go, But that wouldn’t be cast-iron proof that another child in the home was not victimized in such a way. Particularly one who was so “favored” as Meg...And Samantha herself would have to admit to that favoritism toward her younger sister because she’s already complained about it in print copious times already.
Real sex abuse is nothing to make light of, but I am particularly distrustful of these kinds of claims when there is no verifiable proof beyond the plaintiff’s word And he or she stands to make a great deal of money when the accused goes down...Particularly suspicious when the accused is a very rich person and the Alleged crimes took place decades prior. Raising the specter of sexual abuse is a really excellent way to get revenge on someone the plaintiff is angry at or to settle scores.
I don’t believe Meg When she publishes that she Knows how to roast a chicken, so I’m sure not going to believe her about anything like this. Her credibility has been shot since the engagement interview. How anybody on planet earth could still be buying what she shoveling makes me scratch my head so hard I could give myself a bald spot.
Meg loves to Lob grenades though, and that’s the most incendiary thing that anyone could come up with. Incendiary, but kind of banal, Especially in Hollywood, birthplace of #MeToo. Meg’s lack of originality Strikes again… Even just the fact that one of her minions called up Lady C. And threatened the possibility Has Meg’s fingerprints all over it. But I’m posting over how that was supposed to scare LC. If the intent was to upstage her impending book ...Wouldn’t such a bombshell just make people more apt to buy it? I don’t understand how that was supposed to make LC quake in her well heeled boots. Another one of Meg’s drunk dialing ploys I wager.
It is 100% the Tig, complete with the dogs, the panama hat, etc etc.
She’s bombing us with something all right, but it sure doesn’t smell like love.
isnt she a vegan or vegetarian? doen’t she have JCMWhippedPH on Vegan diet and thats one of the reasons he’s looking so sickly/ scrawny?
sorry if i offend any vegans but one should really know something about nutrition if they are going the ‘vegan’ and i don’t think she smart enough to be vegan.
i seem to remember reading something about JMWhipped, when they were living in London he would go out once in a while to the local places and get a burger / meat because he didn’t get that at home.
i find it hard to believe she can even cook. avaocado toast isnt cooking,, isnt that just smashed avacodo on toast?
RE Meg’s eating habits
I don’t care if Meg is a carnivore; I myself am not vegetarian, and veganism is extremely hard to sustain without a great deal of planning, so I wouldn’t do that either. But this woman went to great pains Earlier on to go on at length about her health full vegan yoga lifestyle, And how she had remade Harry’s diet into her own image with all organic clean eating soy lattes etc. Then it slipped out that she was cooking chicken at NottCott...Allegedly. So then the story Meg told was that she ate meat, but only on the weekends. The issue isn’t that she does eat meat, or eat it sometimes, But that she is now blatantly contradicting her earlier autobiography if she now denies in FF that she was ever a vegan or a vegetarian. If that’s really not important to her anymore, or ever was, why did she want the world to know that only vegan paint was acceptable in Archies nursery? This is a large contradiction of things which she herself told us over and over again, but that PR was so 2018 and she’s moved on. This is what’s infuriating about Meg: among 20 stories she puts out about herself in any given week, half of which directly contradict the other half, which are “truth“? Care to comment? Are you not bothered that Meg has abandoned her veganism that she insisted before was very important to both her and hairy as their lifestyle choice?
Meg has a short attention span, and she’s not really into self-sacrifice, although she will pretend to be anything for positive attention in the media. She may have tried vegan for a week or two sometime, and thinks that this gives her credit to be vegan in perpetuity if that’s the image of herself she wants to promote. She often featured Coreys big fat juicy hamburgers on her Tig, So if she was vegan for any time. It was post 2016 when she hooked up with Harry. Putting about in the press that she doesn’t allow him to eat meat or drink beer
It’s just more of her control mechanisms in my opinion. Megan and hairy both are very “do as we say, just don’t dare criticize how we are actually living.” So they’ll eat all the steak they want and junk food and booze by the case and take a private jet to fly hundred miles, and live in a mansion with the para grade equivalent to a small town, But we must remember that they are vegetarians who care passionately about other peoples carbon footprints.
What is it with her and that bloody hat?
Is she hoping to have it named after her, like the Birkin Bag etc.
The MEGA hat, “Make ‘Er Go Away”
She’s the opposite of Midas- everything he touched turned to gold.
Megs is Dimas- everything she touches turns to sh.te.
Shows what a huge hippocrite feminist Ms. Steinham is having a sit down with a woman who used men to advance herself. Oprah has started up the 'Own Your Vote' campaign working to empower black women to vote in November. I'm sure Markle will be part of that.
@holly: I think Meghan is lining these chats up so she’ll have decent quality video to show as she and Harry are knocking on doors trying to get somebody, anybody to buy her video version of The Tig that she is supposedly trying to sell. She probably thinks Steinem will lend some credibility, wokeness to her pitch.
But what she apparently doesn’t care about, at least for now, is that the more she gets into US politics, the deeper hole she is digging back in the UK with HMTQ, PC, and William who actually care that royals should remain neutral in political matters. Common sense says the Harkles seem to be pushing hard to lose their titles at the one year review next spring.
I always watch LCC's videos on youtube - nice captions (white on black) but sometimes the typing is a bit wonky as the "interpreter" obviously mis-hears what she has said and often gets some horrendous spellings. However, it's not too bad so perhaps you would like to give it a go in lieu of anything better.
@ HappyDays: I lost respect for Gloria Steinem, whom I used to admire, when she excused Bill Clinton's behaviour in the Monica Lewinsky affair, making it sound like he was the victim of an ambitious and conniving strumpet (no Bill, you were a middle-aged, powerful man and she was a naive and foolish young woman, which you took advantage of). Taking his side and condemning her, when her reputation was trashed and he went on with his wonderful life - it proved what a hypocrite Gloria Steinem is. BTW, I'm a Canadian, so I have no stake in US politics.
Yep. When Steinem went full blame the victim, I went into full pissed-off mode. She was either a complete fraud or a complete sellout, and I have contempt for both.
So is branding someone a racist. Like you, I don't want to make light of truly serious matters -- and sex abuse and racism are serious indeed. But Meghan "I'm such a fraud!" Markle made light of them first, and now here we are trying to find a balance between calling her out as bogus and maintaining respect for people who really have suffered.
If this ever goes to court, I hope Thomas's lawyers go on the offense for him. It's just one dang lie after another with Meghan. Catch her out in all of them. Not just the lies about paying her way through college or about Thomas not answering her calls before the wedding, but everything. The SAG card. The veganism. The Castellano speaking skills. The tacos with Michelle Obama. The engagement interview. The baby bump, for crying out loud!
Unless, of course, Megsie herself was given to nibbling flakes of leaded paint in `the old homestead', before she pulled herself up, out of abject poverty, by her own bootstraps, of course.
Ingesting lead could account for a lot.
`Omid just said rhat Catherine’s Hyperemesis Gravidum was just a bad case of morning sickness. What’s wrong with him? Open a book Scobie and stop talking nonsense to ty to make your idols look better.”
Omid, dear Omid, what would you know about a woman’s body?

Hikari, I really think it’s as simple as she love-bombed him and convinced the knucklehead that he could do better than The Royal Family. THE ROYAL FAMILY.
There is a reason why victims are despised.
I'm as surprised as the rest of you that's she's hitching her cart to Steinem's star now. And not just because I, too, remember Steinem's hypocritical take on the Monica Lewinksy affair. It's that Steinem, even for her staunchest fans, is kind of a relic these days. If she's the best that Meghan can to do appear "relevant," then she's doing pretty badly!
Earlier, I speculated that she "volunteered" for Babies2babies only because it was the only charity willing to have anything to do with her on her ridiculous terms. I don't mean to insult their work, which probably benefits their community greatly. It just doesn't seem Meghan's style. I'm sure she would have preferred a more glamorous gig -- or even something totally hands off, like what her pal Serena got to do, donating 4 million masks and raising awareness on Instagram. But with neither money nor social media, she's stuck doing grunt work. I'm sure it was the longest ten minutes of her life.
Similarly, the backyard chat of her dreams would have someone like Michelle Obama (or better yet, Barack himself, and no pesky wife in tow to cramp Meg's flirting style). Someone relevant to Meghan's target audience of 20-somethings. (Do young people these days even remember who Steinem is -- much less care?) But Steinem, who probably didn't have the contacts to warn her in advance, was the best Meghan can do. And she's rather have something she can spin rather than nothing.
Me, I CHOOSE happy.
I wish Meghan well, truly. With all of my heart. I will never understand a person who gives up herself like this.
GS was a complete sell out as were a lot of other feminists I HAD admired (past tense). She did blame the victim, loudly and frequently because BC had a political agenda that she wanted pushed through. She was willing to and did sacrifice Monica L. It was a pretty sad thing to watch. During the MeToo movement she came out and said she *may* have been wrong but that it was important to support BC because of his policies. Or something like that.
But I stand with you and Barbra --I lost all respect for GS when that happened.
@WildBoar
Megs licking lead, led to her delusions of leading lady on “Lead or no Lead”
Also the Panama hat thing. I think she wants it to be her "brand" like when school girls always wear butterfly prints/jewelry (everything is butterflies etc. ) because "that's my thing, that's what I'm known for".....and nobody cares.

This in turn led back to Danny Kaye’s Stanislawsky , about how to learn to act (`Suffer!’) and an early use of `afraid I wasn’t going to die’!

Strange how onc can find relevance in unexpected places and ideas seem to go in circles! Both pieces might raise a smile.
Until Meg raised my consciousness, I was also not aware that paint could be vegan. I think the term extends to completely animal free products in all areas, not just the ones you will be eating. I’m no chemist, but apparently some brands of paint might contain calcium from ground up animal bones or hooves perhaps? Just guessing. I did rather enjoy the image of wee Archie Licking the wall. Reminds me of that scene in Willy Wonka where are the kids are licking the flavored wallpaper. Probably not vegan.
Are you a fan of BBC Sherlock, by any chance? They did a little video short to promote the third season, in which Sherlock records a video message for John’s birthday, Since he is not attending the birthday party on the grounds of “having a thing.” There is no thing...Sherlock just hates parties we are there will be copious amounts of “people”. Inspector Lestrade, who is filming the video asks him if he wants to elaborate on “the thing.“ Sherlock says no because “only lies have detail.“ I think of this little scene Every time I read one of Maisie’s press dispatches That gets so incredibly specific, such as vegan paint, and watching lawn bowls from Archie’s nursery window while nursing him presumably. The second was a demonstrable lie. The map shows the lawn ball pitch about a quarter-mile away from Archies nursery window and heavy foliage would Obscure the view in any case. So if that statement is complete bollocks, I automatically assume that the rest of it is fantasy.... vegan paint, nurseries, roast chickens, pub lunches, text messaging with Kate, floating yoga floors, imported avocados....Fauxchie...The list goes on. Are they really in Landslide Towers? Or are they broadcasting from Oprah’s guest house? Your guess is as good as mine!
WBBM
Mmm. Quite.
Around the time of her Wimbledon diva moment, the Tumblr blogs were speculating that the panama hat is yachter code for what an escort is willing to do.
"Only lies have detail."
What a great rule!
And of course the first incredibly-detailed story that comes to mind is Meghan's "perfect warrior pose" while being "serenaded" by birds whose tails looked like they had been dipped into pots of paint!
Does this sound like how Sunshine Sachs had random clients of theirs come out in support of mm?
Also saw that the cameraman is an Oprah guy. Hmmm.
Gloria was older than Medusa's 'claimed' age when I was in high school. (I considered anybody over 30 incredibly ancient at the time. I have since reconsidered.) :D I doubt that the people now at voting age who are currently in high school or just out of high school would see Medusa as anything but a woman on the verge of drawing a pension. Pairing herself with Gloria Steinem isn't helping. I'm not seeing her connecting with her alleged target audience here.
I, uh, don't think that Michelle would be worried about Obama being alone with Medusa. Just sayin'.
Nice one. Excellent catch.
Does this sound like how Sunshine Sachs had random clients of theirs come out in support of mm?

Yeah, Baby :)
There is a reason why victims are despised.
A Huge Amen to that. I get so angry when true victims are looked down upon, because so many others have cried “victIm” because it suits their agenda or alternative motive.
Just a quick note to all, after reading the board since it’s beginning, I finally decided to jump in. So many of you seem like friends to me, and I finally made the plunge. It just so happened it was a couple days ago when the proverbial poo poo hit the fan. At first I thought forget it’s , not worth it, and I didn’t want to be thought of as a troll. After some thought, there are too many great people, with ideas, opinions, and knowledge to Let me feel that way. Thank You to Nutty and Charade for trying to keep us sane 🤗
Back to topic, no I don’t think MM will have an impact on voters. She’s just not important enough. There’s no cache with her to matter. Plus, I think a lot of people are burnt out on celebrity endorsements.
To an older post, I’m here because I want to see this Hindenburg go down! I called this to my friends months before the wedding. I made the joke, I wish Harry would call me. (I said the same about Paul MacCartney and Heather Mills) And when it if/when happens, I want to experience with the Nutties!
That's interesting! Do you mean The Harry Walker Agency?
Their list of speakers includes Bill Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler. No mention of Meghan, though, even after two searches. I also searched for Steinem and she isn't on the list; but that might be because they only name their exclusive clients.
I don't know if HWA would be able to do as much "cross-publicity" as Sunshine Sachs. It's one thing to tweet something or to name drop in an interview; it's another thing to go through an entire speaking gig with someone. Especially someone who not only doesn't command high fees but had to do her last three Zoom bookings for free. And when SS had their other clients defend Meghan, she was still relatively well-liked. These days, her brand is much less illustrious.
I, uh, don't think that Michelle would be worried about Obama being alone with Medusa. Just sayin'.
Oh, I'm with you on that! But that doesn't mean Meghan wouldn't give it her best try.
Now, about Medusa and her Panama hat: I think she's thumbing her nose at the family, so to speak. Or maybe it's more crossing her eyes and chanting "Nyah, nyah!" with the stuck out tongue.

RE. Charles wanting to “make his own way” and being a bit rebellious
I really had very little awareness of Charles as an entity apart from his name and knowing he was the son of the queen of England, before he got engaged to Diana. I was 15 then, And until Diana blew onto the scene, the Royals were too square to be of interest to a Mid western suburbanite occupied with school. Charles had always seemed to me to be prematurely fuddy-duddy. He was younger than Harry on his wedding day...But Charles always seemed a lot older, particularly when getting engaged to a 19-year-old.
In the last couple of years, thanks to “the crown” I have gotten interested in Charles’ early life. He’s always appeared so dutiful and at all times like he just stepped out of a band box, so it comes as a bit of a surprise that is rather dandified and serious personage Could’ve ever been considered rebellious. I’ve Read that it is Charles intention to keep residing at Clarence House Once he becomes king. His mother and father wanted the same thing back in 1952; they had just moved in after they return from Malta and it had just been renovated under Phillips direction when the king died suddenly, And the men in gray told the new young queen that it absolutely would not do for the sovereign to be anywhere else but Buckingham Palace as her primary residence. To have to give it up with a crushing disappointment Because nobody wanted to live at BP. Charles was five and probably remembers some of the fracas. It will be interesting to see if he gets his way in this. It’s not as easy to push around a man in his 70s as it was a young woman of 25.
That would be a pretty significant rebellion in royal circles if he pulls it off.
An older woman once told me: "Never reveal that you were treated badly in the past. It makes people look down on you in the present."
It seems unfair to real victims. But in my experience, someone who was legitimately hurt doesn't reveal it early on. When it does come up, it's among friends who have proven that they can be trusted. On the other hand, people who trumpet their victimization from the rooftops are actually making a power play. It's manipulative.
I wonder what the white Panama hat signifies in yacht code...? “Wearer really knows how to toss a salad?”
Queue up the infamous photos of Harry in Las Vegas in 2012—He’s in a hot tub surrounded by girls and guess what’s on his head?—-A white Panama hat. FYI the hot tub was inside. Is This were Meg got the idea to brand the white hat? These hearts are not rare, but it’s a little coincidental that both halves of a couple from different continents who later wound up getting married Would both have white panama hats featured so prominently in their photos.

King Charles III making Clarence House his primary residence would be an interesting twist.
On a purely human level, I sympathize. Charles must love Clarence House. And he's in his 70s and has been working since he was in his 20s. Let him be comfortable!
On the other hand, it would be quite a break with tradition. And an odd statement to make after finally taking over from the longest-reigning monarch in UK history. I don't think Charles will have much time to really leave his stamp on the UK; maybe he knows it himself and just intends to cruise before handing the reigns over to William.
And I believe William would be willing to make the sacrifice of moving out of Anmer Hall into Buckingham Palace.
Brilliant. .
I don't watch Sherlock so missed the gem that `only lies have details'.
Too many irrelevant details in a narrative, however, indicate weak prose at the best and a juvenile approach at worst. The square footage of Selfridges shoe department floor is such a detail - that tripe would end up on the slush pile at Mills and Boon. Show, don't tell!
It's time for me to go back to bed - but I'm glad I came here to pass the time (5.30am BST). I'd expected all to be on moderation and hoped just to catch up on anything posted after I'd got on with other things yesterday. Perhaps I'll get some sleep now. See you all later.
Brilliant!

OMG~ Your comment about the Panama hat and it’s meaning made me think of the 1980’s movie Cruising! Are hats the new millennium of hankercheifs?
Yes, BP would have the superior security with the entire Household Guard on the premises. It would also be a security nightmare for the RPOs I imagine to have to transport him To and fro every day. Too much opportunity for terrorists To learn his routines. Security issues aside, I’m sure the feeling is that Buckingham P. Is the very symbol of the monarchy, Like the White House symbolizes the president. It is the very heart of the British state and the sovereign should be in residence. No matter how nice or impressive Clarence House is, The business of the crown is at BP. All the rest of the crown properties are just vacation houses.
The queen spends every weekend in Windsor, when she’s not at Sandringham or Balmoral. BP it’s too much house even for her.
"I’ve read that it is Charles intention to keep residing at Clarence House Once he becomes king....
That would be a pretty significant rebellion in royal circles if he pulls it off."
@Enbrethili wrote:

I've read that Charles doesn't plan to live at BP too. I've read the plan is to make it only offices, official spaces for state events, and apartments for staff and working royals (as it also is now.)
I'm not sure it would be seen as all that rebellious though these days if Charles didn't live there. Due to repairs, much of it has been "offline" for awhile. And in recent years TQ has spent increasingly significant time at Windsor, Sandringham, and Balmoral. The "men in grey suits" were probably right though Elizabeth needed to move there initially. While she was the legitimate monarch, she was very young and probably did benefit from having BP as her official home.
If Charles doesn't live at BP, I don't think Will will either. But whatever happens leaving Anmer Hall won't be part of it as that's not his official residence. What he could leave is his current "official" residence at Kensington Palace if BP is still considered to be the Monarch's required residence by then.

And yeah, Gloria Steinem is a total sellout. If she hadn't behaved despicably re: Monica L, I'd still have been hard-pressed to say whether she was even still alive. She's so irrelevant even to old fogies like me.
MEGA Panama should be called the Sue(z)
It’s also artificial, man-made, much like our feminist!
I grew up in the beautiful Republic of Panama. Partly why I consider South Florida a bit of home. Cubans are quite similar to Panamanians, happy to say :)
In fact, I thought Markle was Cuban when I first saw her, before I even knew who she was! I was quite excited to think she was marrying into the Royal Family.
Until she showed herself.

Farchie doesn't live with them. Never has. in Canada he lived with the nanny in another house down the street from their palatial water-front loaner. he was never at Frogmore (zero sightings of anyone pushing a pram anywhere in Windsor ever - Kate often seen walking with a pram in Kensington / Hyde Park). and is living in Malibu again with the nanny, not in TPs house. Ghosted the child right after birth, ergo the issue with the night nurse and various other nannies quitting. it is actually quite horrifying
I’ve no idea of the veracity of this report but how about this speculation?
Supposing, there is a child, born of their gametes but not of her body much earlier than his stated DoB.
He was born in the US.
This could explain the unauthenticated ` birth certificate’, which either suggested UK adoption or was fake.
He has never left the shores of the US to come to UK in case he fell under Royal Authority.
The pregnancy was fake.
The `shower’ was an excuse for a jolly, although I did see a report that she went off for an afternoon with Amal and it was suggested they were apartment-hunting in NYC. She may also have had a look at the child to check that he was good enough for her.
All at `appearances’ in the UK, Archie was played by Darren.
The child is legitimate under US law, but not UK law. Hence HM did not issue Letters Patent to give him a title, as strongly hinted by Lady C.
The RF knows what’s going on and can see she’s out of her tree and capable of anything. This could fit with H talking about `keeping his family safe’ when taking private flights. Do they fear for the safety of the child if she doesn’t get her way?
It could account for H’s odd demeanour during the stable interview and at Well Child (I believe he was giggling/hysterical) He was incapable of keeping up the pretence and `leaked’ signals. As well as perhaps being under the influence?
They could have taken him to S.Africa without intervention from the RF if he was in the US. Or they hired a child, getting the nearest facial match to a photo of the real Archie,
ignoring any raised eyebrows about size/age. After all, nobody is as clever as Megsie.
Recent photos (video and drone) may be the real Archie.
The RF’s chief concern is to keep the child safe and well cared for, no matter whether his genes are royal or not.
Extricating the child and H, without disaster of any kind, might be a real poser.
A crazy set up like this could be a severe stress for anyone, let alone H.
Could this be a Grand Unifying Theory, or just not on? Does it fit with all we’ve observed? What are the holes in it? Can you fill them? What do you think?
This is pure speculation, a paper exercise.
Steinem was one of those who were responsible for leading people to believe that second-wave feminists were man-hating shrews.
Steinem was so singularly focused in her feminist views that she repeatedly and forcefully said that she would never marry, saying that marriage was a prison for women and a false construct. That lasted until she met a very wealthy man, and she got married. After that, her contributions to the feminist movement dwindled dramatically, and she became less respected in the feminist world.
I say this is a feminist who believes that feminism is based on working toward equality in all aspects of life, including equality in pay, equality in the workforce and equality in earned respect. I also believe that most men are delightful human beings, and that marriage is a wonderful institution.
To me, you don't advance a cause with strong-arm tactics, as MM does, and Steinem did, but with rational and intelligent discussion and by living by example in your daily life. In simpler terms, if you talk the talk, you had better walk the walk. MM does not do this. Neither did Steinem.

@Swampwoman,
For a completely different view of the Queen Mother, check out Lady C's book about her.
Thanks again for all of your hard work on moderating this blog. I believe that you have single-handedly saved it for all of us.
I enjoyed watching the recent Mrs. America series which focused on the political battle for women's rights in the 70s. Rose Byrne does a good job playing Steinem, and Cate Blanchett is excellent as the conservative Phyllis Schlafly who fought against the ERA. Oh and Tracy Ullman in a dramatic role as Betty Friedan was great to watch.
Is this interview/chat a preview of her plans to do a Tig-style talk show as she prepares for an eventual political run?
As a grifter, she can see that political office could be a great way to fund her extravagant lifestyle...

Interesting that this comes up just as people are outraged at The Harkle's purchase of a huge mansion- in the US. Again, do the Harkles, (one the 6th in line to the throne, and a princess who spent less than two years in the BRF) actually believe that they deserve the same or more than the future King? Unbelievable.
The Harkles are trying to use negative PR strategies again, and yet again, shooting themselves in the foot.
I've watched just a bit of the accompanying video, but I hear some slight digs at the BRF and how put upon the Harkles felt during their time at KP.
Princess Michael rents a room in her apartment at KP for $10,000/mo. The Harkles should be made to to relinquish Frog Cottage (repaying all costs) and, if they wish to spend time in Britain in service to Queen and country, they should be forced to rent that room as their base. That way, the BRF can keep an eye on them.
Thanks for the links!
This may all have been discussed previously, but something dawned on me after revisiting the side eye and gaping mouths during that over the top and inappropriate wedding sermon. What if MM had expected the jaw dropping and side eye and had instructed the camera crew to catch it so she and H could use it for furthering their victim mentality behavior? Or maybe she suspected the jaw dropping pics and knew she could use them later.
If PC saw the video MM's side eye at Camilla I can certainly understand his birthday party a bit better. Did anyone else see this? If so, let me know what you think of the look.

Meghan Markle & Prince Harry are Becoming Freeloading Millionaires
Table of Contents

• Markus Anderson plays a considerable part in Meghan and Harry’s freebie lifestyle
• Despite lecturing all and sundry about the environment, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoy using private jets
• Finding Freedom, the Meghan Markle PR puff-piece masquerading as a biography, describes all of the freebies and discounts the Hollywood Royals have enjoyed over the years.
• Astoundingly, the authors seem to believe that these antics paint Meghan and Harry in a positive light.
• It doesn’t. All it does is highlight what we already suspected about the Sussexes.
To hear both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry speak of their lives, you’d think they had it tough.
In an era where millions are losing their jobs due to the recent pandemic and even losing their homes, we have a couple of pampered royal children not only pontificating on how the plebs should be living their lives but doing so from the comfort of their multi-million dollar mansion.
Both Meghan and Harry are freeloaders of the worst kind
It became blatantly obvious from early into their marriage that both Harry and Meghan resented the role of a royal in Britain.
Why? It didn’t provide enough scope to earn large sums of money and exploit their position as royal family members.
Finding Freedom, the Meghan Markle puff piece biography, highlights many of the benefits that both she and Prince Harry have enjoyed over the past few years.
Ironically, and as is usually the case, those with millions of dollars in the bank are the very people who are required to pay for very little.
Freeloading to the tune of $4.6 million – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are pampered millionaires
According to Finding Freedom, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed “extraordinary acts of generosity” to the tune of over $4.5 million.
This includes the use of private jets and stays in luxury hotels, all of which the couple should be able to pay for from their own bloated bank accounts.
But hey, why spend your own money when you have people willing to give you things for free, right?
Markus Anderson plays a considerable part in Meghan and Harry’s freebie lifestyle
One name that crops up frequently in the story of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is Markus Anderson. Described as Meghan’s best friend, Markus seemingly loves nothing more than lavishing gifts upon the former royals. Finding Freedom claims:
Anderson is the global membership director at Soho House, an exclusive members club.
Obviously, he isn’t providing all of these freebies for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry out of the goodness of his heart. The type of people who socialize in these circles aren’t known for their selflessness.

Despite lecturing all and sundry about the environment, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoy using private jets
We’ve all seen Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lecturing the general public about the environment. Harry has even gone as far as to set up a “sustainable tourism” venture in Travalyst.
Unfortunately, “simply” Harry decided to ignore advice that waxing lyrical about the environment while burning up the skies in freebie private jet trips would perhaps not go down too well with the general public.
Hilariously, Finding Freedom lists the number of freebies and freeloading the couple has done over the years as though it’s some sort of accomplishment.
Rather than paint Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in a positive light, all the revelations from the book prove is that everyone in the former royals weird social circle has an angle, and everyone is playing the game.
Also, for my fellow insomniacs, CALM magnesium, D3, and green tea help me sleep plus a cold cloth on my forehead and/or back of neck helps slow down my thoughts.

I have not read all of the comments, but I would say that Meghan picked Harry rather than Harry picking her. She targeted and pursued him relentlessly by lovebombing him and using the bag of tricks she learned and used in her yachting days. I just finished Lady C's book. She does not mince words in detailing how selfish, greedy, and totally inappropriate Meghan was as a member of the BRF. It is clear that from the beginning Meghan had no intention whatsoever of trying to fit in and adapt to the British way of life and the BRF by learning the future and following protocol.
I just saw a segment on the Today show of Meghan "interviewing" Gloria Steinham. I am shocked that Gloria would give her the time of day.
To answer Nutty's question, Meghan should stay out of American politics. She has no business sticking her much altered nose out of it and should Harry. Meghan is out for self promotion. She does not give a fig about anyone else.
I love Lady C! She's extremely intelligent, witty, fair, and knows a con when she sees one. And she doesn't hold back.

I am turning into a Lady C fangirl
I so agree! She is a compelling advocate for "our side" of this debacle.

@Swampwoman said
Yep. When Steinem went full blame the victim, I went into full pissed-off mode. She was either a complete fraud or a complete sellout, and I have contempt for both.
Again, total agreement. I lost respect for the feminist movement at that incredibly blatant hypocrisy and stopped calling myself a feminist. I started to realize all politician are basically liars.
Regarding Tom Markle and horrible accusations. The good news is that his defense team could provide a long litany of her lies, obfuscation and outright madness. But it would break my heart for Tom.
Perhaps that would inspire everyone who has some dirt on MM and PH to come forward and speak out. It would certainly destroy her. Perhaps that is why, so far, she has only floated a trial balloon by Lady C.
Now that she has started attacking PA, maybe he will reveal any inside info he has on her. I suspect he knows how to fight dirty. Eugenie and Fergie might come for her. There is some ill will there.
King Charles III making Clarence House his primary residence would be an interesting twist.
On a purely human level, I sympathize. Charles must love Clarence House. And he's in his 70s and has been working since he was in his 20s. Let him be comfortable!
It will be really interesting to see if Charles is able to prevail over the courtiers. Clarence House has been his London home since Queen Mum passed away in 2002. Diana stayed there during the engagement. If he manages to stay in Clarence House, I wonder if he sees himself as vindicating his parents' wishes from his childhood . . . or just a little 'S-D U' to the Establishment. Unlike his Mum when she became Queen, he is older than most or all of the 'Men in Grey' who would attempt to tell him 'No'.
He will still be spending the majority of his working day at his BP offices, and he's got all those other homes to choose from. I wonder if he will keep Highgrove House or it will pass to William. He will probably give Birkhall to William as well, since he will be moving on up to the 'Big House' at Balmoral.
Charles no doubt would have not questioned moving over to BP had he ascended earlier, but having grown up in BP since the age of 5, and constantly over there since then to see Mummy, he's probably sick of it. Clarence House is his own little London retreat. Essentially he'd just be sleeping there, and having the odd weekend, since he would do all his official 'work' in his Palace offices, receive the PM and visiting dignitaries, etc. I think it's just the principle of claiming his own space. Mummy and Pa might be sympathetic to this, since it's what they had wanted originally, but at the time, they had a young growing family. Charles is no longer in need of a 'family home' to raise his children in. His security has not been a problem living there as PoW, but BP does have that 'fortress' air which certainly offers the best protection available.
Imagine having the option of *turning down living in Buckingham Palace* . . "Eh, not really my scene . . .I much prefer my cosier place down the road; think I'll stay."
And I believe William would be willing to make the sacrifice of moving out of Anmer Hall into Buckingham Palace.
The Cambs have been spending a great deal more time in London at their KP base since Louis was born. William was expected to step up his investment in the family Firm as his father gets closer to the Top Job. KP #1 was renovated to be a suitable London base for the future Prince of Wales. Once Charles passes on, who knows what will be the fate of Clarence House . . I suppose Camilla would be entitled to stay in it as long as she is still living, as the former Queen consort. William would have spent time there visiting Great Granny and his father occasionally, but when Chas took it over, Wm. was already in uni. I fully expect him to move into BP. They'll keep Anmer Hall, but commuting from Norfolk daily wouldn't be realistic since it's 100 miles away from London. Once William becomes King, he will inherit Sandringham, but since Anmer was a gift from his Gran, he will probably keep it for George.
@Midge
Thanks 😉
I just saw the headline too and groaned! Another name change another day! Plus they God awful article about Megsy with with Gloria Steinem (whom I have no clue of). Can there ever be day when the duo have a day off with this relentless PR bombardment.
Thanks for your kind thoughts about my son. He is much better but still has some issues. That's why I mentioned the cognitive symptoms following head injuries. I was thinking that perhaps Harry has some residual neurological deficits, which could be a partial explanation for the Harkle Debacle.
Someone noticed that with the latest reorg of the "foundation", it now has M and then W.
So I wondered if there was some sort of embarrassing something which might drive this.
wmx is related to some sort of weapons patch
mwx is a gold ore mining company
You can't make this stuff up, I tell you.
Sadly, to her it really is. Harry, too. Look at them--hobnobbing with billionaire celebs as their 'friends'! They've really 'Made It'!
Harry's avarice is more specific: he wants to eclipse one person in particular: his brother. Meg's avarice is a lot more free-ranging . . she wants to eclipse everybody . . or at least be counted as an equal with the world's wealthiest celebs like George Clooney and the Pitt/Jolie empire.
Meg is really dumb. She is so blinkered by this adolescent obsession with Hollywood status that she really doesn't see what she had a ticket to as a member of the BRF, and has just taken a huge sh*t on. The BRF has the patina of age, and Meg only likes shiny new things.
Old things are always more valuable. She had a chance to be part of history and she traded it for the grifting lifestyle of a free-range, freeloading 'millionaire' celebrity. She spends all her time in her borrowed mansions trying to recreate the *same work she did as a Royal that was so confining*--charity appearances, albeit charity appearances for which she can sell the photographs.
Someone said on an earlier page something that was very astute--Wild Boar, was it you?--That Meg is addicted to the 'hustle'. That for her, the hustle is not the means to an end . . ie, she's Made It so she can stop hustling now . . but rather the hustle 'IS' the end. She's on a hamster wheel spinning endlessly not getting anywhere, but as long as she's in the public eye somehow, she's 'Winning!' She's been doing this for so long, it's the only way of living that she knows.
Imagine if she'd been able to turn that Hustle to the benefit of the Queen, and her Royal duties . . .what might she have accomplished if she was working for the House of Windsor rather than against it?
What is wrong with her brain is a lot. She really defies categorization. If Harry still thinks there will be a time when they can kick back and relax, having achieved their 'American Dream', he's sadly mistaken. There will be no end to the hustling as long as Meg draws breath. There is going to be one ill-conceived frantic self-promoting 'project' after another as long as she's got access to a PR firm.
She is just so tawdry, limited and basic. So, so basic. She likes to think she's 'sophisticated', but what she reminds me of is of one of those feral children raised by wolves. She is an apex predator operating solely by instinct, not reason. Her patterns are hard-wired and not subject to moderation. She can't. She's like the shark that keeps swimming restlessly around in circles, taking chunks out of prey. If she stops, she'll flip over and die.
This is natural cunning of a kind, but it is not 'intelligence' of the evolved human variety. She is capable of having only one objective and she is fixated on it to the exclusion of all higher thought. Looking out for #1, that's all she can do. She is not adaptable and will never be 'civilized' according to normal social contracts of human behavior. She put on a decent facsimile of being a normal human when she was younger, but she's gone off some deep end since she had access to PR firms and the Soho house circle.
It's really getting frightening to witness, which is why I pray that there is no baby with them.
@Hikari
It will be really interesting to see if Charles is able to prevail over the courtiers.
If he really dug his heels in, what would they do? . . . And having asked that, I suddenly remember the story about the heating being turned off so that the Queen Mother would leave BP and give Elizabeth and Philip some peace and autonomy! Do you suppose the courtiers would dare?!
My country also has a palatial building that normally serves as the president's home and is symbolic of the nation's seat of power. I remember thinking very poorly of one president who refused to move in, saying he preferred a "simpler" residence. If moving into a luxurious home was much too hard for him to do, I wasn't filled with confidence in him as a leader and worker. But I was amused when his successor also refused to live in the palace, claiming it was haunted. Somehow, it was easier to respect that reason.
Regarding Tom Markle and horrible accusations. The good news is that his defense team could provide a long litany of her lies, obfuscation and outright madness. But it would break my heart for Tom.
If Meghan ever decides to stoop that low, I hope someone in the BRF secretly steps in to cover Thomas Markle's legal bills.
It would also be the perfect way to spill the dirt on Meghan at last!
I'm sorry that your son suffered a serious injury.
I've noticed that Harry has had that bump on his forehead for some time. He's known for falling off of his horse while playing polo, so maybe that's how he got it. It seems to recede at times, or maybe it's looks different in various lighting situations?
The top photo here shows Harry as a young man, and you can see the bump, although it's faint:

M for Meghan?
W for an upside-down M, which also stands for Meghan?
X because it looks like the two halves of an M put on top of another, which indicates, once again, Meghan?
Even Archewell was better than this! I don't understand the branding at all.
For those readers in the path of Hurricane Laura who may be new residents from the midwest or northeast: If you are in the coastal area, are in the direct path while it is a major hurricane and were unsure whether to tough it out or leave, I hope that you left. The east side is the strongest, wettest side of the storm. Huge oak trees will fall, pine trees will snap off, park accordingly. The Emergency Management people of your state have plans to come to your assistance but may not be able to get in for a few days (dang trees and storm surge). Church volunteers in states around you are mobilizing. Good luck and God bless.
Oh, another thing to be careful about: Wet weather will have water moccasins moving into people's yards and taking shelter in unlikely unlikely places, such as in a flowerpot, under shrubbery, under a tarp, inside a trash can. They are a danger to you, your children, and your pets. Be careful. Be aware that even you they are killed and are dead, they are just mostly dead. They can still bite and inject venom unless their head is completely destroyed.
I think they're jumping brand names to try to keep ahead of the tax man in three countries.
MWX sounds like an airport abbreviation to me. LAX, SEA, MWX.
Very kind of you regarding my son. Many of those pictures at that link show the head lump. I saw a couple articles online about Harry having to give up rugby because of numerous injuries.
Athletes who suffer several concussions are advised to stop playing. I haven't seen any information about Harry breaking bones or suffering other orthopedic injuries, so perhaps concussions are the reason.
That said, I am certainly not making excuses for him. Just a possible explanation for his horrible judgement and decisions.
