If you're a Beatles fan, you'll know that in the fifty years since the group went its separate ways, almost everyone involved with them has sold his or her story. Only one major figure has not: Jane Asher , who was Paul McCartney's girlfriend for five years during the heyday of the group, and accompanied him on the famous trip to India in 1968. An actress, Jane went on to become a TV personality and famous cake-baker. She has never spoken about her time with McCartney and dislikes being asked. Until recently, the Sussex saga had included a similar figure: Trevor Engelson, Meghan Markle's ex-husband. Trevor has never spoken about Meg. But he has done well for himself: he married a wealthy woman , continues to work as a producer , and seems to have a loyal (and multi-racial!) circle of friends , unlike some people we know. He appeared to have excused himself from the whole soggy mess. Until yesterday, when he was papped. Driving his black Porsch...

In April 2019, the Times had a bombshell story about what was happening behind the scenes at Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace as courtiers tried to figure out what to do about Prince William and Kate on one side, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the other side. There were multiple quotes and revelations in this piece which proved to be accurate. Not only accurate, but prescient about the real fear (within the palace) that they were simply going to lose Harry and Meghan’s star power if they didn’t properly manage them. Palace officials were talking openly about sending Harry and Meghan away, outside of the UK, but in an official capacity with some kind of title and job, like governor-general of Canada or Australia, or UK trade ambassadors. In Spare, Harry confirmed that those discussions took place as well. Within all of the “how do we harness the Sussexes’ rock-star power” discussions, there was Prince William, like a bump on a log, his insecurities front and center. A source told the Times: “People are telling William, ‘Don’t worry. Your influence will grow and Harry’s will fade.’ This is peak Harry.”
Within this same Times piece, sources confirmed that William had been “reaching out to senior figures in the media as he prepares for kingship and by the apparent decision of those same newspapers to side with the palace over Meghan and Harry by peddling the most negative coverage of the duchess’s relationship with her father, Thomas Markle.” One source said, “The danger to them is that Meghan is going to be bigger than Diana.” And that’s why William was 100% behind the effort to simply get Harry and Meghan out of the country: “In some ways it would suit William to get his brother out of the country for a few years and Meghan as far away as possible.” Well, obviously, Russell Myers’ new book, William & Catherine, has completely reimagined this royal history.
Eh, similar has come out of the Sussex camp before (think Scobie book which she did/didn't assist in) and other media pieces - how the people in the palace were quaking in their shoes about how powerful the Duo were and similar fear of them by members of the royal family. Really. Can you picture William or Catherine (or even Camilla) hiding behind a sofa crying because they are afraid of one or both? that somehow one or both now has more power? Contrast that with the image of Catherine in the golden dress? Not so scared.
Do I think that the palace tried to come up with ideas, things to do, places to stay for them? yes. I think they tried long and hard to come up with something to help them. So that would be "true". When you mix some truth with "this" is how I view things which does not match the reality of the others , it can sound very believable because you know this or that part is true ... so you might conclude that perhaps the rest "ought" to be equally true.
As for this making * sail even higher in the public than Diana - as above but note it is focused on her and not him. Besides how? how does negative about her father translate to sustained (read life long or close to life long) major historical legacy for the next multiple generations? (and who might want that? him? nah, but she might as it could strengthen a victim legacy .
Do I think William wanted they out of the country? well sorta as in hopes they might find something else to do, focus on far away and less meddling in his future life as he tries to keep all the plates spinning in a post King Charles world. I think he saw the potential for the future problems, maybe not in detail which we have seen so far. Decisive.
Starmer Chameleon
Andrews downfall almost done
The media’s had their fun
Now get back to Mandelson…
I don't think the RF have commented on the victims of the grooming gangs specifically but Charles and Camilla have stated their 'utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse'. That was about Andrew, therefore they couldn't mention the grooming gangs in particular but I think the broad statement was rather explicit.
Appears that Maxwell, Mandelson
and Andrew ( Brits) are carrying
the can for Epstein?
The Hand that Cocked the Sable
I doubt very much if
Andrews fuckery
Would result in the demise of
the monarchy
They’ve weathered much worse
in their long history
Onwards and upwards
despite anarchy…
God Save the King

It is extremely worrying when an elderly gentleman with severe health problems is forced to face overwhelming stress that is not going to ease in the near future.
And this can't be easy for William who has his own wife and her health to worry about when this situation is going on and on and on.
With Andrew's protection officers being urged to testify against him, will this make Hairy and * re-think their demands for securitay?
And what about the people he had in the past? Like with him in Vegas and all the things he mentioned in his book that they did for him prior to his marriage? Sometimes one ought not to kick that ant hill.
An interesting point re Harry and his demands. Be careful what you wish for...

They`ll try to say that they knew that this was coming so that`s the reason for Megxit but ...
And yet, His Majesty the King did not know anything about all this?
If he personally read the emails talking about hey there's something odd here - maybe yes and still maybe no. If he were told there could be a problem by a staff person, then it's all in the what was said and how it was said. Layer in that the two brothers were not good buddies and that A was able to forestall questioning by his/their mother - so even if Charles was aware AND had said something to either, then would he have been listened to?
I knew my family narc had behaved badly at the last family reunion (we were tapped to some what keep an eye on them). Apparently we missed some things as I recently learned that narc said some threatening things to someone of equal age that that person was frightened by. That whole family spent the rest of the reunion (and thereafter) giving narc a wide berth but no one from that side, or our side mentioned it to us until it was a year or more later. We had no idea. You can't be everywhere nor can you control others. Especially those who don't want anyone to control them.
I feel sad that this is now going to be linked to the King who has tried very hard to juggle his time while he waited for the throne, do the good things and now this.
ex-protection chief of Royals spills the beans on Andrew
I would have thought that NDAs were still binding, but apparently not.
It seems to me they are trying to show the BRF that they can be an asset and want to return.
'Following their visit to the refugee camp, Harry and Meghan arrived at the Specialty Hospital in Amman. The Sussexes visited frontline health and mental health programmes and met World Central Kitchen staff co-ordinating food relief for Gaza from Amman.
Earlier in the day, Meghan and Harry joined a roundtable discussion with senior figures from UN agencies like UNWRA, UNHCR, World Food Programme, Unicef and diplomatic attendees from countries like the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Canada the EU.' (DM) The BBC said 'The couple, who stepped down as working royals in 2020, have travelled to Amman at the invitation of Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO).' In that case, I don't think the WHO should be taken seriously. The Sussex ex are not experts in anything. Meanwhile, * was seen in her trademark wide, vastly oversized and over long creased trousers. Apparently, the duo had no entourage - * does her own hair makeup, don't you know - 'and likely no 6ft ironing board of her own like Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor preferred to have on hand' (DM). I don't think Catherine would have appeared so unkempt, she's always immaculate, and somehow I don't think the duo can 'show the BRF that they can be an asset', far from it.
Are you away? We haven't heard from you in a while.
She just didn`t seem to be appropriately attired
The USA doesn`t belong to the WHO, and for good reason. The Sussexes don`t seem to care about that though.
The Sidley twins say that it is a question of Pay-to-play of the pr firm that the sussexes have rehired to work for them and I say that anything to do with any branch of the UN that are all corrupt and dirty is extremely questionable and the organization should be abolished as should the WHO that have asked the two morons to this visit.
The baroness looks dirty, ugly and undignified and her husband (what's his name? I can't remember) looks unkept and unhappy and doesn't seem to have ANY idea what he is doing there.
I went and checked the picture of the Princess of Wales in a wrinkled dress the Mail mentions and I say she is one beautiful, elegant and extremely representative lady the Brits can always be very proud of.
She never works and definitely not in Jordan.

Look at the photo below showing the duo at a meeting yesterday, they would suck the joy out of anyone.

The baroness is such a loser!
Harry certainly does not represent his father. The fact that *&H were met by British diplomats doesn't mean anything. I suppose they had to and it is not an endorsement of their visit, simply protocol. Charles can't keep commenting every time Harry goes somewhere. Remember, never explain, never complain. In the UK, we don't view Harry, a long way away in California, as an extension of the Crown.
a source with knowledge of the trip has said the British Ambassador had not invited Harry and Meghan to his reception marking Iftar - the meal eaten by Muslims at sunset to break their fast during Ramadan.
The invitation had been to Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO). He had then asked the Duke and Duchess along as his guests, it is understood.

That woman is sick in the head and totally preposterous.
If you read this at some stage - I am so sorry to hear your news. My thoughts are with you. Take care x
As Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth so beautifully said grief is the price we pay for love. I wish you strength and send you my warmest thoughts during this difficult time.

Found out the hard way that the dildo of circumstances rarely arrives lubed.
Sadly my darling husband died while we were away for a few days and its taken a week to do the basic legal stuff and arrange `repatriation' . I'm home now and overwhelmed by what I now have to do.
I wish you lived down the street. You could come over for hugs and tea.
Dear WildBoar
So very sorry to hear about
Mr WildBoar.
Sending sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers.
Stay strong Hildisvini X
That's the spirit. It's easier said than done, of course. I wish you much courage for the months ahead. Take care x
Maybe we could de phrase this and say that Netflix dropped *. Delusional as ever, * 'wants to 'go global', believing her brand can 'stand on its own'.' Of course it can, Megs, of course it can.

I believe she wakes up every morning with a thought: "The Whole World Is Waiting For Me To Tell Them What I Am Going To Do Today!".
Such an unbelievable character!
@Magatha - lucky you, I know you will be delighted to see the duo and I can't wait to hear first hand about their visit 😉
